Julie is absolutely AMAZING! If you need a cake or desserts, BOOK her NOW! I highly recommend her to everyone. She responded to my every email, text or call. Her kindness and professionalism helped make our daughter's wedding perfect. She made a 3 tier wedding cake with 3 different flavors. The cake was exactly like the inspiration photos I sent her and was moist, delicious and beautiful. She also made us fruit pizza. A favorite with everyone. Julie made us key lime bites that were a creamy, sweet-tart mouthful of goodness. The brownies were just as good with every chocolate ooy-gooey yummy bite. Julie delivered and set up everything. It looked and tasted AMAZING! THANK YOU for your attention to detail, your amazing deserts and for helping make our daughter's wedding perfect. Book her Now if you can. You will not be disappointed.
We couldn’t have been happier with our dessert caterer! From the very beginning, she was so friendly, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. She was incredibly flexible, especially when we had last-minute food allergy requests and needed gluten-free options. She handled everything with ease and made sure all of our guests felt included.
The desserts were absolutely delicious—our guests couldn’t stop talking about them, and we had barely any leftovers because everything was devoured! On top of that, her pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality and service she provided.
If you’re looking for someone who is talented, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and offers amazing value, I can’t recommend her enough. She played such a special part in making our wedding day perfect!

Owner Julie has been baking since she was eight years old on an Easy-Bake Oven. After that, she started experimenting with her own recipes, honing her craft, and the rest is history. Julie is also passionate about giving back and donates a portion of her profits to organizations such as NEWHOUSE, a women's shelter, and Operation Underground Railroad, which helps to fight human trafficking. The name of her bakery came from her youngest son Squishy's nickname. Committed to creating memorable treats to mark special celebrations, she would be delighted to help elevate your occasion.

Hi I’m Julie the owner of Squishy Buns n Biscuits. I started this business in September of 2020 during Covid. I went from making a few sweet treats to transitioning into cake decorating in 2021, and from there into weddings in 2023. I have had a passion for baking and food based art since I was a little girl. Before I ever started decorating beautiful cakes, I wanted to make sure my flavors and desserts were delicious and had that touch of southern charm and heart, that I bring from my home state of Georgia. I am a wife and mom to two boys and a feisty little corgi named Carabelle Mae.
