SqWires Annex & Front Room

SqWires was the perfect spot for a bridal shower. Stephanie went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of and any questions or requests were responded to quickly. There selection of decor was great and made it easy on us to be able to show up and have it already looking beautiful! I will definitely use SqWires again for future events!

I definitely recommend SqWires as a place to have one’s wedding. They did ours a couple weeks ago, and it was a perfect day! Stephanie and Hannah were both very helpful. We had a small intimate wedding that we planned in just a couple months, and they helped make it possible. There are so many decisions to make but I never felt worried with them guiding and helping me. I will forever be grateful for SqWires and making our day as great as it could be!

We just had our wedding a couple weeks ago at SqWires, and it was such an amazing day. I was drawn to SqWires as a venue, because I felt like it offered so much to us. We got married and had our reception there, we got ready and stayed that night in their beautiful guest house on Lafayette Square, we used a lot of the decor that they had saving us plenty of money, and most importantly we worked closely with Stephanie their venue coordinator. Stephanie was amazing and helped shaped our day into a beautiful event. She was kind and patient with us. And offered us so much support through the planning process and on the day of the wedding. On the big day it rained, and we had to quickly change plans for our first look moving it inside. They were in the middle of set up, and definitely didn’t need to let us come in and use the room. But she was so nice about it, and made it a beautiful moment for the two of us. The annex room was beautiful with exposed brick, beautiful wooden flooring, and lovely golden mirrors all around it. I also loved that SqWires was very transparent with their pricing on their website. Most places give you no information until you’re in person looking at the venue. This gave me a lot of comfort knowing what I was getting into price wise. We absolutely loved their food. It was so amazing, and they were even able to accommodate my gluten allergy. While getting ready they had gluten free waffles for me, and then they were able to make all of our appetizers and food choices gluten free. I felt like I got to have the true wedding experience, rather than being stuck with a salad and plain chicken breast on my wedding day. We absolutely loved our wedding day, and are so happy we went with Sqwires!

I would recommend using SqWires for a wedding (or any event!) over and over again. Everything was perfect. The staff is incredible. They made the wedding planning process so easy. We were continuously impressed with the services they offer. Stephanie was our main contact for planning the details. She was extremely helpful and very fun to work with. We never felt like she was in a hurry or needed to be somewhere else. It was as if we were her only wedding when in reality she was probably planning 30 weddings plus other events. We used the Annex for our reception, Lafayette Park for the ceremony, and we rented the house across the street to stay in for the weekend. All of the venues were perfect for us. Being able to get married in the park but have SqWires help set up and facilitate the ceremony was our dream and made it so easy to pull off. They will decorate and clean the ceremony area. We chose the Grotto area and it was stunning on a late April morning. The owner of SqWires was also personally involved in helping us plan and she was there setting up that morning. That is the kind of attention to detail and care they put into their events. To top it all off, it was very affordable especially for everything you get from them. They have their own decor which we used and did not have to buy or rent anything else. They also ordered the flowers for us. 15/10. Do not hesitate on this venue.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the staff! I was looking for a venue outside the "barn wedding" aesthetic and felt that SqWires fit that perfectly without being overpriced. We ended up having about 113 guests and Annex was able to accommodate that perfectly. Stephanie was a joy to work with! She's extremely knowledgeable about the industry and was able to assist me through the entire wedding planning process. My original plan was to have the ceremony outdoors at Lafayette park, however the weather day of made those plans impossible. Stephanie and her staff were able to move the ceremony indoors and made the space so beautiful I wasn't even sad about the last minute location change. The food was amazing! Its not the usual wedding food and we've gotten so many compliments. They have so many choices and it made planning so much easier to not have to book an outside caterer. I was worried about the guests I would have to seat on the mezzanine, but it turned into a hang out place for people who don't enjoy the usual wedding dancing and people loved it. The staff frequently checked in with me and my husband to make sure everything was perfect and we were happy it. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Overall the venue was a great choice! However, a few things to note... The space would be best for smaller parties who do not need to utilize the mezzanine for seating. I didn’t read the description properly and thought we could fit 100 on the main floor – the number changes to 80 with the dance floor. We were also limited to 7 tables of 10 (probably because of the photo booth) instead of 8. I was worried about the guests at those tables would feel isolated from the group on the main floor. I chose younger friends that wouldn’t feel offended like some of the older relatives might. Unfortunately, I was told that they couldn’t hear any of the background music during dinner or speeches. I would highly recommend having a close friend/family member do a walk through before the event. Your contract states that you are responsible for damages caused by guests. We had to pay for a new toilet (including the plumber fees etc) to replace a broken toilet. I didn’t argue since I knew it was in the contract. However, it’s really hard to believe that it was a guest that broke it based on the picture. It was likely damaged prior to the event and worsened over time. Again, I didn’t argue – but I wish I would’ve had someone do a walk through prior since this is in the contract. Aside from the things listed above, SqWires was a beautiful venue. You don’t need a lot of added décor – they also provide you with a ton of options so you don’t have to worry about buying more/bringing a lot of items to the event (and then also taking them home). They set everything up for you and coordinate with vendors so you don’t have to worry about that the day of your wedding. Working with Stephanie was wonderful. It’s worth booking the venue for the coordinator alone. It was really nice to not have to decorate early in the morning when your day is already booked with hair, make up, photos, etc. I heard from guests that the food was really good. They were also very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions. Renting the house across the street is also very convenient! I would highly recommend the venue for a wedding– especially for smaller weddings.

We had a little bit of a rocky start with SqWires because the coordinator that we had signed on with left the company, but Hanna and Stephanie went out of their way over the last year to make sure the wedding was flawless. I provided very minimal decor as they had everything needed! I have received SO MANY compliments on the food. Legitimately the best wedding food I have ever had. The pricing is more than fair and the service you receive in return is worth it. Our goal for our wedding was for it to basically feel like a giant party for all of our friends and family where we also happened to get married and that mission was accomplished. I definitely recommend hiring SqWires for your wedding.

We had our ceremony and reception at Sqwires for our October 2023 wedding with 115 guests. We loved working with Stephanie and the rest of the Sqwires staff. They worked diligently to make our day perfect! Our guests raved about the food as well!

SqWires is absolutely amazing! My husband and I started planning our wedding shortly after the engagement March 2022. This vendor came highly recommended by a previous co-worker who had used their services for her wedding the year prior. After doing much research, communication between myself and the vendor was a breeze. I was sold on all the accommodations that were included with the package. We decided with an evening Saturday ceremony taken place at the Gratto in Lafayette Park. The process for securing our spot at the park was thoroughly explained and easily to obtain. It was surprising to learn it included the bridge and pond that’s surrounded by beautiful scenery, ducks, and my absolute favorite two swans. This was the perfect spot for our wedding. Bonus part is the venue staff sets up the chairs, podiums, and other necessities needed for your big day. This also includes arbors, drapings and other decorations. The cocktail hour and reception took place inside the SqWires Annex. This space is so beautiful with a romantic vintage feel that includes a main level and upstairs. The venue completely provides all the decorations including faux florals which you have about six themes you can choose from. You can add any personal items if you like such as a wishing well box, signage’s, or pictures. We chose the buffet style which included two salads, three sides, and two entrees which were all very delicious! I’m still receiving many compliments from my guests about the venue space and food. The cocktail hour including one signature drink and three appetizers. Also in this package included 4-hours of open bar! Who can beat that? The best part is this venue has an Annex House available for the day of—all-inclusive! This means complimentary breakfast, fully stocked house such as you would see in an AirBnB, and many last minute items you may need for the big day. It really was a one stop shop not only for my guests but my bridal party as well. Adding this house was an additional fee but it well worth it. I promise you will not be disappointed. I personally added the house for the whole weekend (Friday to Sunday morning). A great way to have a bachelorette party the night before, a place to get ready the day of, and a place for my husband and myself to stay the night till the following morning. I highly recommend!!! Despite having to speak with two different coordinators during the initial process, I was completely blown away by the new coordinator, Stephanie, for completely taking charge and seeing to our vision is better than fantastic! Her communication, professionalism, and eager to please customer service absolutely made our day even more special. Phenomenal is a better choice of words. All my vendors and guests raved so much about Stephanie and her phenomenal services. That’s how amazing she and the staff were. I really appreciate that the venue really connects with you through this whole process. They really want to hear you and give you everything that you ever dreamed for your special day. I keep replaying everything from start to finish with the biggest smile on my face. I can always look back and say, “Wow, we really did this!”. Our wedding here at SqWires with no regrets, only wonderful memories. So what are you waiting for? Please go on their website and look at all your options. You won’t be disappointed. We hosted our ceremony and reception at SqWires, and we were absolutely blown away. Working with their team (My husband and I worked with Stephanie and Hanna) was the most seamless, enjoyable process in all of the wedding planning we did. They are extremely professional and are so excellent at making a vision come to life. They captured everything that I had in mind so beautifully. Everything about our day was perfect. Stephanie ran us through the ceremony and reception so wonderfully, helped us stay on schedule, and assisted in all things big and small. You will not be disappointed if you choose SqWires!

The venue coordinators were so friendly and professional. My ceremony hit a few snags and they just rolled with the punches and advocated against the mistake a third party vendor made. They made everything so easy!

Buyer beware. Carefully read the contract. If you must change or cancel the wedding date, your deposit is non-refundable. In our case, our son and daughter in law got married in Europe, well before our planned party in Saint Louis, and did not want to host another local event. After we canceled our event, Sqwires was easily able to rebook the October date. They offered for us to "use" our deposit for another event for up to a year. We approached Sqwires about just hosting a low key celebration dinner on a different date when the couple would be in town, but the terms amounted to us paying full price for a dinner in order to "use" our deposit. If you have any uncertainty in your reception date, do not book this venue.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at SqWires and it couldn't have been more perfect! Jill and the whole SqWires team were so kind, efficient and accommodating, even going above and beyond for our guests with dietary restrictions. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and the atmosphere is both beautiful and inviting! Such a great venue.

We just had a rehearsal dinner here and I can’t recommend it enough! The staff was wonderful! Super friendly and very organized! We had the event space booked out for about a year in advance and they had a shift in management during that time. Honestly the shift seemed very smooth and professional. We never felt like they were dropping the ball on anything. They did a great job reminding us on due dates for things! Can’t say enough about the staff!! And I mean the space itself is just amazing. They really have put a lot of thought and talent to making the space as special as it is. And an even bigger plus… the food was amazing. Which I feel like is hard to do for large events. We received lots of compliments!!

We had both our ceremony and reception at SqWires. Highly recommend to any couples looking for a smaller wedding venue. Both the interior and exterior are perfect for couples interested in rustic/boho themes. The staff is absolutely wonderful - Hanna and Stephanie are the best! They went above and beyond to work with us. They were perfect!

We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at Sqwire's. They did an amazing job. Everything was perfect. Our wedding was beautiful. The wedding coordinator (Hanna) made everything as easy as possible. She definitely went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful for Sqwire's and their staff.

My husband and I got married at SqWires this past June with a church ceremony and small brunch reception in their Front Room. From our first contact with Meredith, to all of our planning and rehearsal, to our wedding day, SqWires was absolutely fantastic to work with. Meredith was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and we felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire process. We were originally planning an outdoor ceremony, and Meredith understood our last-minute concerns about the heat and helped us switch everything to an indoor ceremony. She took care of so many details leading up to and on the day-of that we really didn't have to think about anything but having a nice time with our family! Our reception food was delicious and we got lots of compliments from our guests on the selections. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a smooth, wedding planning experience to book with SqWires and work with Meredith! We can't say enough great things!

Sqwires was a fantastic venue for our wedding and reception! We had originally planned for the ceremony to be at Lafayette Park, but due to inclement weather, we had to move everything to Sqwires that day. Meredith and her team made the Front Room beautiful at the last minute. It was a fairly small room for our 100 guests, but it worked. The reception in the Annex was great. The space is beautiful and Sqwires organized everything. They have a ton of linens and centerpiece options you can choose at no extra charge. They did the flowers and they were gorgeous. Meredith made the planning so simple and everything was better than we even imagined. We are so pleased we chose Sqwires!

Great venue! Very accommodating

SqWires is phenomenal. My husband and I still comment how they were easily one of best vendors to work with. We held our rehearsal dinner and a welcome event for all our guests the day before our wedding. Meredith and Bethany made us feel stress free the whole way through. As we encountered hiccups, SqWires was always accommodating and focused on removing stress. Meredith was so detail oriented and helped us make decision that stayed true to our vision and budget. SqWires’ service, food, and drinks were fantastic without breaking the bank. Choosing SqWires was one of our best choices!

SqWires is awesome!! They made our event so easy and low-stress. It was great to have good food, drinks, flowers, decor, music, etc all provided by one awesome venue with endless options for customization. Their wedding coordinator Meredith is the best. She's very organized, reassuring, and responsive. The whole team there delivered us an amazing event at an affordable price.

SqWires did an amazing job managing both our wedding and reception. We could not have been happier! Thank you so much to Meredith Beck and her whole team. We live out of state and they made everything so easy for us. In addition, we were unable to make it to our food selection tasting due to travel issues and they made up for it by providing us a meal when we got there! The level of service we got was top notch and it didn't break the bank. Everyone loved the food at our reception. We served sweet chili glazed salmon, beef tenderloin, and airline chicken for the main course and according to multiple guests the tenderloin was perfect. My wife and I stayed at the Annex House, owned by SqWires, across the street from the restaurant and we highly recommend it. It's a beautiful house and you cannot beat the price and convenience it provides. Many thanks for a beautiful wedding weekend!

Sqwires was absolutely the best place to get married & have our reception! The staff is great along with food, drinks and atmosphere. Meredith is wonderful to work with there. And is so helpful with everything. It was the best night ever!!!

Selecting SqWires as our wedding venue and reception hall was the best decision we could have made as a couple. Not only did the day run absolutely flawlessly (Bethany and Meredith were incredibly helpful) they were able to bail us out of a failed rehearsal dinner. Any request I had was met with “we can totally do that!” And they 100% could. I was a pretty easy bride I knew the jest of what I wanted but really wanted to make no decisions the day of and that’s exactly what I got. The food was incredible, our guests could say nothing but wonderful things about it. There is not a better venue around.

SqWires were a great host of our wedding! Bethany and Meredith were accommodating to all our request and needs for the wedding. All our venders were familiar with the venue making booking and setting up a lot easier. The style of the venue gave our wedding a classic look and feel and complimented our wedding colors and layout well. Even got to add our own signature drink which was delicious along with the food being warm and ready when served to the guest. Would highly recommend SqWires for the more intimate weddings.

I booked Sqwires for my rehearsal dinner on 1/7/22. We rented a private room for 24 people. First of all the food is delicious. They even went out of their way to accommodate my gluten allergy and made sure I had plenty to eat. The bartender that was assigned to our party was excellent and creative. The waitresses were amazing too. The sales team was always responsive to my questions and they made sure our night before the wedding was nothing but wonderful and memorable. I live in NY so planning an event from out of town was stressful but nothing went wrong and I was so happy that I chose that restaurant. Guests raved about the event for days !

Thank you SqWires and the Annex for such a beautiful rehearsal dinner venue space. The food was excellent, the staff was incredible, and I could not ask for a more beautiful space to celebrate our special weekend. Highly recommend for any bride looking for an intimate reception space or a mid-sized rehearsal dinner space!

We had originally planned to have our wedding reception at SqWires in October 2020 but decided to postpone to September 2021 due to the pandemic. SqWires was understanding of this and worked with us to reschedule everything without charging a cancellation/re-booking fee. Besides being in a beautiful location and having delicious food, what we loved most about SqWires is that it's truly an all-inclusive venue. We were able to borrow their decor, they set up and tore down everything for us, they did our florals (at a super reasonable price), and we were able to rent out the Park House and Bridal Loft! (If you want gorgeous lighting and a dreamy first look location - book the Park House!!) They took good care of us on wedding day so that we didn't have to worry about the little details! Our guests loved the space and raved about the food! The only hiccup we experienced is that there was a staffing change during the pandemic, so response time was sometimes slow. But just know that Bethany and her team know what they're doing and will take good care of you - she's just busy running a whole restaurant! :)

Where to start....We chose SqWires as our rehearsal dinner venue, and worked with Jill during the planning process. I was clear from the beginning that I cannot have Gluten due to having Celiac Disease and was assured that would not be a problem. We scheduled a tasting, and upon arriving and was told by AJ that everything was gluten free, only for them to bring out Orzo as a side.... which is 100% not gluten free. I over looked this, and we continued with the process. We were told we would meet with Jill at the tasting to discuss details, and she had overbooked herself and was off the premises for a meeting during our tasting time. 4 weeks before our event I sent my final head count (3 less than our original estimate), it took 2 weeks for Jill to get back to me and when she did she informed me we did not meet the minimum, and gave no guidance on what to do next--leaving me panicking 2 weeks before the event. This led to a long discussion with Beth and Jill where their solution was that we pay half of the difference in order to have the consumption bar we planned (and then we would pay the bar bill at the end). Finally we agreed (1 week before the event) to just add a per person bar package to meet to minimum. (Make sure you ask plenty of question regarding what does and does not count toward the minimum). Fast forward to the day of the rehearsal. I again double checked that everything was gluten free, and was told that one of the entrees actually was not (which was also served to me at the tasting and at that time I was told it was gluten free). They did offer to make me something else, but at that point I was frustrated by the whole situation and just ate the other things we chose for the buffet. It is unacceptable to have so much confusion when it comes to dietary restrictions and allergies (I could have ended up very sick on our wedding day had I eaten the chicken--thinking it was gluten free since I was told previously it was). Overall for a venue that does events quite often I was disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication, professionalism, and attention to details and requests. I would not recommend this venue.

We really enjoyed working with Bethany, however had a few issues during our reception that the ending of it not the best.

Bethany is the best. We live out of town and she helped us out together our perfect wedding. They set up an amazing wedding at Lafayette park with the park house and then a beautiful 2 block walk to sqwires. The food and drink were amazing. They did the desserts, flowers, decorations, setup/ cleanup, and referred the photographer and dj. Also loved the bridal house for a few days. All the staff is vaccinated and masked. Thank you for making our wedding perfect and easy.

I cannot say enough amazing things about squires annex! I had my bridal shower june 26th in their smaller annex room and all we had to do was walk in and enjoy! It was completely decorated just how I had envisioned, the food was phenomenal! We did the brunch package and loved the sweet potato hash and the quiche was a huge hit with my guests! All in all this was a beautiful space, with impeccable service and such a fun vibe!

sqwires was a perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. I loved the unique and beautiful details of the space. The food and service were perfect. Planning a wedding during a pandemic wasn’t easy and Bethany and the sqwires team helped to ease our concerns and delivered a stress-free and beautiful wedding day. The addition of the bridal house was a dream, a great place for us to stay and me and my bridal party to get ready.

We are one of the many couples whose original wedding plans were upended by COVID. Our original date was April 18, 2020 and we were so excited to have our reception at SqWires. When we had to reschedule everything, SqWires worked with us and made everything a little less stressful. We ended up having a small ceremony in the front room at SqWires in August of 2020. The space was perfect for our needs. We then had our reception on April 3, 2021 at the Annex at SqWires and we were both pleased with how it turned out. The food and ambiance were both complimented extensively by our guests. We highly recommend SqWires!

Bethany (the owner) ruined my event. She was rude, yelling at my guests, and even called the police this past Saturday. She told the police guest weren’t complying with the masks, but police told her they couldn’t do anything about that. So then she said fine- she didn’t want us in her building, and demanded us to leave. It was embarrassing and sad. All the time, energy, and money that goes into hosting an event to have someone ruin it. Do not waste your time or money here!

We highly recommend having your wedding at SqWires! Bethany, the owner went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was special and fun for all the guests. The staff was friendly and accommodating. SqWires used two rooms; one for our ceremony and one for our reception, which made it easy for everyone. There was also a separate area where the bride and the bridal party could get ready for the wedding. The food was delicious, and the total cost was more reasonably priced than all the venues we looked at. Overall, we felt that we got a lot of value on the happiest day of our lives. We have a lot of great memories thanks to Bethany, her staff, and the facility!

We had both our wedding and reception in the Annex at Sqwires and it was amazing! My husband and I met at Sqwires so it was special to be able to celebrate there. He actually threw a surprise engagement party for us in the front room so all important moments have been here :-) The planning process was easy and well thought out by the Sqwires staff. We had the ceremony in the annex with cocktail hour in the front room while the annex was turned over for the reception. We got married in December and the space already had beautiful décor with wreaths and poinsettias. Sqwires also has many décor items available for use - we used their mirrors, vases for votive candles and lanterns as part of our centerpieces and tables. The gold door made a great backdrop for our aisle. Additionally, we had a Santa take photos with guests and Sqwires had a big throne-like chair which was perfect! We has appetizers and stations for food -- all were delicious! Our favorite was the risotto from the risotto, pasta and mashed potato bar. Overall, the pricing was very reasonable and we were so very happy with everything. I highly recommend getting married at Sqwires! It was a perfect evening!

We had our ceremony and reception at SqWires in the Annex, we wanted to things a little untraditionally and Ashley didn't bat an eyelash. She went above and beyond to make the day perfect! There were ZERO hidden fees, unlike some of the other venues I requested quotes from. I was able to ask Ashley any question at any time and never felt like a burden, nor did she charge extra to answer. By the time the final meeting came around I was pretty over thinking about the design and layout of the centerpieces so I just gave Ashley what I purchased and told her that I trust her, and honestly? I couldn't have done a better job so I'm glad I let her hold the reigns. Sqwires is a one stop shop for amazing food, decor, easy planning, drinks, I wouldn't change a thing! Not to mention, it is absolutely beautiful! We also took over the bridal suite that morning and had an amazing time, its so convenient that its attached to the Annex. Seriously, if you're questioning if SqWires is right for you, let me tell you, it absolutely is!

Here's the deal! We worked with Ashley to book the Bridal Loft for morning bridal party prep, the Front Room for our ceremony, and the Annex for our reception... and it was beyond words a top notch experience and an incredible day! Our wedding day was perfect, and easy, and exactly us! Ashley helped to coordinate logistics, decorations (including amazing flowers!), delicious food, and just all of the little things that add up to an unforgettable day! We are so appreciative to Ashley and her team at SqWires for making our day so very special!

We had a smaller wedding and this was a wonderful venue to host both our ceremony and reception seamlessly in one evening. SqWires’ food was our initial attraction, but the old building space (easy to decorate), the cozy loft that we added for the day, and wonderful staff made it a great decision for us. Ashley was wonderful to work with through our planning.

Best venue ever- would ONE THOUSAND PERCENT recommend! We wanted a casual, Sunday brunch wedding and SqWires made it happen beautifully! We had our ceremony in the Annex, cocktail hour in the front room, and brunch reception in the Annex. The space is beautiful with that rustic modern-y industrial look that paired so well with our navy blue, gold, burgundy theme. I made my own faux flower bouquets, centerpieces, and various decorations and Ashley and her team made it all look great! Ashley was A DELIGHT to work with, always positive, encouraging, flexible, and prompt with responses whenever I had questions. I was not one of those brides that had their weddings planned from day one and had 10 Pinterest boards filled with ideas (kudos to you if you are) so Ashley's expertise along with her calm, cool, and collected personality really helped me plan, organize, and pull this off! We went with the champagne brunch package and our guests raved about the food and the beautiful atmosphere. Our wedding day was amazing; book this place and you will not regret it!

We had both our ceremony and reception at SqWires and could not have been happier! The space is absolutely beautiful and requires very few (if any) additional decorations, especially during Christmas when there are beautiful decorations already up. Ashley was super easy to work with and very responsive during the planning process. SqWires lets you use their centerpieces and decorations and/or bring in your own, which is a nice option to have. On our wedding day, she helped move our timeline along and worked seamlessly with our officiant, photographer, bakery, and DJ. We had our ceremony in the Annex and then moved to the Front Room for cocktail hour while the Annex was set up for our reception. The food at our reception was delicious! I've been told it was the best wedding food some guests have ever had! Our wedding day was perfect and I couldn't be happier that we used SqWires.

It's a beautiful space regardless which room you're in, the staff were all great to work with in reserving the space and choosing our menu, the food was EXCELLENT, and the bar and wait staff were great throughout the evening. They received several compliments from our guests and we had a great time! It's a great space for a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception - would highly recommend!

I had my wedding at SqWires on 9/28/19 and it was absolutely perfect. My guests are still raving about the food and atmosphere. Ashley was great working with us and helping assess last minute changes. Highly recommend for both reception and ceremony! We got married in front of the fountain and it was beautiful!

SqWires food was delicious. The annex was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly the way I had envisioned it. All our guests loved the food. The wait staff was great, whatever I asked for (or didn't ask for) they got for us. SqWires offers a lot of items to use as decor, which is really nice so you're not left with a bunch of laterns or table number signs after the party is over. The only downfall was that it was difficult to get responses when were trying to plan the reception. Overall it turned out exactly as I wanted and was very happy with our reception. Everyone loved the space and commented that the food and space were wonderful.

SqWires was an AMAZING venue. We knew as soon as we walked into the annex for the first time that it was our place. Not only is the venue beautiful and timeless, but the staff was very professional and extremely accommodating. Ashley, the event coordinator, was so great and easy to work with, and took care of nearly everything. She really is fabulous at her job! We had both ceremony and reception in the Annex, and the staff flipped the room while we had a cocktail hour in the front room in between - which means they set up all tables, decor, flowers, etc. making it so easy on us and our families. Ashley truly did take care of every need and question I had throughout the whole process. The food here is delicious, and it's really nice to have the venue do the catering for you. Also, we barely needed any decorations as the room is so beautiful as is (brick, mirrors, string lights); they also have a "closet" full of other decorations on hand for couples to use (table numbers, votive candle holders, glasses, signs, cupcake tiers, etc.) which is really convenient. We LOVE SqWires!

We had our wedding and reception at Sqwires on a Saturday evening and Ashley and her staff was amazing! This venue is very beautiful and intimate and definitely a wow factor for your guests. This place needs little decorations because this unique beauty stands on its own. We told Ashley our vision and she went above and beyond. We didn’t have to stress over the small details because Ashely took care of it! Sqwires is located in the beautiful Lafayette Square which makes an amazing back drop for pictures. Lafayette Park is minutes away for pictures and Sqwires has a beautiful fountain out front . Our photographer captured some beautiful pics before and after the ceremony there. We had an open bar and the bartender was very fun and energetic and kept the drinks flowing. The staff was very friendly , helpful, and accommodating. We had a sparkler send off and the staff helped coordinate and light sparklers for the photos. I can’t begin to speak on how delicious the food was! My guests are still raving about the food! Sqwires was very accommodating to my guest with food allergies and special diets. They also offered vendor meals at a very affordable price and my dj and photographer was very satisfied with the selection. If I could, I would definitely rate Sqwires ten stars! I definitely recommend Sqwires! You will not be disappointed!!!

Ashley and the team at SqWires take all of the worry out of hosting a wedding/reception at their venue. We worked with Ashley to figure out all of the little details, and crafted a menu that perfectly suited what we were looking for. Could not recommend more!

Sqwires was perfect for what we wanted! The inside is beautiful. Everyone commented on how pretty it is. Ashley was really great to work with. We're so happy with how it all turned out!

Sqwires was great. We loved the venue and the people we worked with. Ashley was our coordinator and she made everything so easy. The best part of Sqwires is that the fees they charge are all inclusive. Everywhere else we looked asked for extra fees, one place even asked for extra money for a dance floor. It was ridiculous to look at venues but the moment we found Sqwires, we were sold. The food is better than any wedding food you will ever have and the prices are very very reasonable considering their competitors. They even set up our center pieces for us! What place does that?? It was so amazing and easy to have that done for us and not have to have family members or friends work on that for us. We met with Ashley twice over the course of wedding planning and that was all we needed because they make it all so easy. The only downside to this venue is that is a little small but if you are hoping to have less than 150 people, this is the place for you!

We recently has our reception at Sqwires on May 26th. Ashley was amazing to work with from start to finish. She coordinated everything perfectly, worked with us to figure out what was best for us, and provided advice outside the realm of venues! Sqwires also helped us book Lafayette Square Park for our ceremony and Lafayette Square Park House for us to get ready. They were both a dream! I cannot say enough good thing about them! SqWires was the perfect venue for us. We held both our ceremony and reception there and everything went really smoothly. We had about 90 adults and 15 kids at our wedding, which felt like a perfect number. The loft space was a great option for people wanting to have a quieter conversation or who weren't interested in dancing. Ashley and her crew were very accommodating, and made planning from out of town very easy. Our guests gave rave reviews about the food (especially the tater tot bar!). We used an outside vendor for our dessert, and they made it look amazing at no extra cost. What a great experience!

We just had our ceremony in the Front Room and our reception in the Annex, and it was amazing. We worked mostly with Ashley Budde, and Karen was there on the day of to coordinate everything. Sqwires also did our flowers - it was truly spot on (I'm looking at the flowers we brought home right now, and they make me so happy!), and took care of the setup and decor. The whole planning process was a breeze, and Ashley was very responsive to our requests (we went for something quite, simple, too - as we were on a budget, and just like simple things). The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of style and vibe, and we loved that it is in the city. We had a game/craft table on the mezzanine for the few kids/tweens/bored introvert grown-ups, and Ashley was fine with crayons and markers. The staff was very friendly, warm and responsive on the day of, and Ashley's warmth and cool-headedness helped with our nerves on the day of. Thanks for everything!

I recently had both my wedding ceremony (Front Room) and reception (Annex) at SqWires. Everything was so beautiful. The venue was unique and had SO much character. I loved that we didn't need tacky decor, which was really important to me. Ashley was our coordinator and she was pretty easy to get in touch with, and made everything smooth - especially the day of. The wedding packages are super affordable too. Overall, I couldn't be happier to have chosen SqWires for our big day!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Sqwire’s in July and it was absolutely perfect. Sqwires was amazing from the time we initially contacted them in October 2016 through our reception in July. We thought the history of the place (wire factory turned restaurant/reception venue located in the first historic district in St. Louis) was cool and we liked the fact that it didn’t look like a “typical reception venue.” The place has so much character (exposed brick, amazing windows, baby grand piano, etc.), and we liked the fact that we would have the entire reception area to ourselves. We also thought that Sqwires was affordable and high quality compared to many other smaller reception venues in the St. Louis area. We both live out of state, and Ashley was extremely accommodating throughout the planning process. She worked with us via email, met with my parents when we were unable to meet with her ourselves, and scheduled our meetings when we knew that we would be in town. She was also very helpful with planning our reception. At our tasting appointment we were blown away by the food. Ashley helped to come up with menu options that would help accommodate various dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian). She was also great about giving us centerpiece ideas, and I was able to look through their back closet of various centerpiece items that we could use. The special touches that Sqwires really helped make our reception. For example, we loved the passed appetizers during cocktail hour and the coffee display after the cake was served. Our guests seemed to really enjoy the reception, and are still commenting about the space and the food. Karen and the staff at the reception were amazingly attentive and professional. We highly recommend Sqwires! We love them!

We had our rehearsal dinner at SqWires' front room the evening before our wedding in Nov 2016, and it was so lovely! Not only was the venue beautiful with lovely decor, but it was also the perfect size for a rehearsal dinner. And the food - it was excellent! Everyone thoroughly stuffed themselves and we got many compliments afterward on how good the food was. Bethany was a delight to work with, very professional and detail-oriented. You can tell how much she cares about making sure your event goes beautifully and smoothly and that everyone has a great time. I would definitely recommend SqWires as a venue for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal or baby shower, or any event!

We had our May 2017 wedding ceremony and reception at SqWires. We had the ceremony and reception in the Annex, with a cocktail hour in between in the Front Room. SqWires made the whole process so easy! We worked with Ashley, and she helped with all aspects of the event. I loved that SqWires is a full service venue - they handled the food, bar, and florals. They also set up and rearranged the room. Everything worked out so smoothly on our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend SqWires for any wedding or event.

We have nothing but good things to say about having our wedding at SqWires. We worked with Ashley who was extremely helpful. We had originally planned an outdoor ceremony at the park but had to bring things indoors last minute due to inclement weather. They made sure they everything went off without a hitch. We had our ceremony in the front room and reception in the annex. SqWires makes everything so simple for wedding planning. Their per person fee includes everything (hors oeuvres, dinner, bar, decorations, tablecloths, candles, etc) and ends up being less expensive than most other places in STL . Ashley met with us several times over the course of 8 months to talk about our wedding and decor ideas. Working with her was like having a wedding planner without actually having to pay for one! She took care of everything for us from doing all of the decorations and centerpieces to printing out and displaying our table assignments. SqWires also did all of my florals for me at a very reasonable price. They were beautiful. Ashley was able to take my very basic ideas of what I wanted and turn them into something better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend SqWires as a wedding venue!

Loved Loved Loved our wedding reception space, decorations, and buffet. Bethany and company were attentive to our requests and needs and did not fail to meet them. The venue was decorated for the holiday with winter decor for our Dec. 3 wedding. It hit the mark. The guests loved the food with the big hit of the night being the donut bar! SqWires was a fantastic venue for my June 2016 ceremony and reception. The owner, Bethany, was phenomenal to work with and made planning stress free. While the Annex was being "flipped" from the ceremony to the reception, we had a cocktail hour in the Front Room. Anything I asked Bethany about in regards to the ceremony was provided (table numbers, candles, signage, etc.) Bethany held several consultations with us including a food tasting and 2 rehearsals. She was extremely organized and I didn't have to worry about any planning on my wedding day. Please book your event at SqWires, you won't be disappointed.

I can not say enough good things about Sqwires. I am so glad that we decided to have our reception at the Annex . It was beautiful and exactly what I pictured it should look like. Bethany (the owner of Sqwires) went above and beyond with helping us get all the details put together. She was wonderful to work with and helped keep me so calm. Also, people have been raving about the food as well. We had such a magical day and I don't think that would have happened if you chose somewhere else. If you are thinking of a venue for 150 people for a sit down dinner (or less) you can't go wrong with Sqwires!

From the planning to the execution, Sqwire's was flexible, professional and very helpful regarding all aspects leading up to our big day. I had to plan the entirety of the event from abroad and it was seamless working with them. The decor, food, mood and all of the amenities of this intimate space in historic Lafayette Square really made for a special reception. We had a magical evening thanks to the team at Sqwire's. Our ceremony was at the Jewel Box and then we went to Sqwire's for the reception. It was a perfectly intimate and cozy day for me and my lovely husband. Plus, we have lots of money left over to travel on! Financially speaking, it was very reasonable and the last thing I wanted in looking for a venue was a vendor that added on for every little thing- Sqwire's didn't. I'm still on cloud 9. Thanks again!!!

I couldn't be happier about having done our wedding reception at SqWires!! My husband and I are really into brunch and we wanted to have a small-ish, not-too-costly, morning, intimate wedding day - SqWires was the PERFECT venue. We had been there a couple of times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner, so we knew the food was going to be fantastic. The place in itself represented us very well as a couple, it's a perfect combination of modern rustic with beautiful exposed brick and high ceilings, and a loft/industrial look that makes for amazing pictures. We had the pleasure of working with the owner, Bethany, who was as accommodating as anyone could be. Everybody had great things to say about our wedding; they loved the food and thought the venue was super cool. SqWires provided us with everything we needed, including our centerpieces for a very fair price which made planning so much easier and smoother. We didn't have to worry about setting everything up and taking it down, they did it for us. I dont have any complaints about this venue, they truly made my wedding as wonderful as I imagined and I couldn't be more thankful that I had the opportunity to work with them. Thank you SqWires for making our day so special and beautiful!!

We love love love SqWires in Lafayette Square! We chose the venue because of the rustic/industrial look of the annex, which is where our reception was held. It has brick walls, exposed wooden beams and duct work. It is just a cozy, beautiful space. The food is also fantastic. We splurged a little and got steak and salmon for our guests...totally worth it. We had so many people tell us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding!! We also had appetizers (yum!), an open bar and champagne toasts included in our package. We love to have a good time ;) LOL The staff is the best in STL!!! The bartenders and waiters/waitresses were very friendly and professional. They know how to show guests a good time. They even went on a Captain Morgan hunt when we ran out....again, we like to have a good time! And then there is Mandy, the event coordinator. She is the go to person for everything!!!!! She helped me find a DJ and officiant, was the tie breaker in our food/beverage decisions(haha), helped us scout photo opportunities in the area, helped me organize all my decorating ideas and then helped us decorate. She also made the day of the wedding run smooth. She coordinated everything so I didn't have to worry. I could just have a glass of wine and relax :) If I had to do it all again, I'd choose SqWires, hands down! Maybe we'll have a ten year anniversary party there?!

We loved everything about our wedding and Karen was awesome. She helped us coordinate to use the Lafayette Square Fountain for a gorgeous setting for our ceremony. She was really helpful to work with in all of the planning; in advance, the day before, the day of, and night of our events. Many guests complimented us on the food! The space was beautiful, warm, and inviting. There were no other venues that even came close to the value of Sqwires. We had some apprehension when shopping for a venue, being a same-sex couple, but everyone at Sqwires was incredibly welcoming in the planning and celebrating of our big day. We would not change a thing about our wedding.

What a wonderful venue for a Wedding. The Ceremony in the front room and a Reception in the Annex, perfect! Mandy is terrific, great attention to details! Can't say enough about how she handled EVERYTHING and it was perfect. The wedding package was very reasonable and the choices were outstanding. The meal and appetizers we chose were superb, our thanks to the Chef and his staff! The service was great and the Bartenders did a wonderful job keeping all happy! We chose to have our reception at Sqwires in Lafayette Sqaure. The ladies that I had the pleasure of working with were amazing! The space is beautiful on its own so there's not a need to spend a lot of money on decor. The food was delicous and we were really able to customize a menu that fit our taste and budget. The staff was professional! And my contacts were there at every turn making sure everything was as it should be! I felt like I was in great hands and didn't have to worry about the details. We had a wonderful night and I can't wait to re-live it when we get all of our pictures! I would recommend Sqwires to any bride!

My wife and I got married last January at Sqwires. I know most people say this about their weddings, but just about everything about ours was perfect. From the very beginning, Sqwires' event manager Karen was open and flexible. We had both our ceremony and reception in the same space. She worked with us to set it up exactly how we wanted (from the schedule to the placement of the furniture) and offered suggestions when we were at a loss (which was often). By some standards, our wedding was smaller (about 100 people), which she was completely open to. Other venues we had looked at were far less flexible. As the day got closer, she was great at communicating with us and helping with all of the little details. Because we didn't want to get too wrapped up in the planning, one thing we liked about Sqwires was that they took care of basically everything for us. Our package, which was a flat, per-guest cost, covered the room, food, drinks and more (no extra fees for things like napkins or tablecloths). The day itself was perfect. Her care and attention to detail was amazing. Having not had a lunch, I was feely shaky when I arrived before the ceremony. Without asking any questions, Karen brought me a bowl of soup and a glass of orange juice. It was a really small thing, but it saved the day. Throughout the ceremony and the dinner, she managed everything and kept things on track. The space itself was beautiful and worked perfectly for a group of 100. The food was amazing. It was the kind of flavorful, filling dinner you'd expect from a good restaurant. Before getting married, we had bumped into some friends who told us they had also been married at Sqwires. They said we would love it. We did. Now whenever the topic of our wedding comes up, we say the same thing. Thanks to Sqwires and Karen for everything!
