hable, light, and enveloping. We went through pictures for inspiration and created a beautiful look. I asked for more contour, place the blush higher, and more coverage and she was soooo amenable. It was clear to me she was aiming to curate exactly what I pictured while giving me recommendations. On the day of the wedding, she was here early which worked out great! She did the make up for 9 ladies and everyone looked amazing! She brought the beauty on the inside to the outside. We created my lip look on the spot because I was picky about the color and she never once made me feel like it was inconvenient or dismissed. Everyone in the bridal party loved her and chatting with her was like she’s been in the friend group for years. She made it very comfortable and never once made me feel like an idiot or ridiculous (irrational fear lol). I will recommend Sam Rose Beauty 20/10 forever and ever. The beauty trial was great - it really helped me get a sense of what I could do for my hair and makeup, and I’m glad I did it because I was able to make a couple of changes ahead of the wedding day. I was super happy and impressed with my makeup look, and after the trial I realized I wanted to work on my hair more so that it would have more length and hold curls better. I decided to go back to Tia for a second hair trial a few weeks before my wedding day, after I refined by hair color with my regular hair stylist back home, and also bought hair extensions. The second hair trial turned out stunning and made me feel extra excited that we nailed the look!
My wedding day hair and makeup came out EVEN BETTER than the trial. I was sweating and crying all day and my makeup and hair held up really well - my makeup stayed ALL DAY/NIGHT. I am so happy with Sam and Tia, and they were so fun and relaxing to be with on the morning of my wedding. They are truly an amazing beauty team and I would recommend them to any New England bride to be. The prices were great, and the expertise and outcome was fabulous. At the trial I had some concerns about facial and chest flushing due to nerves on the day of the wedding and Sam was quick to provide solutions that we tested and perfected by the wedding day. When I tell you - my makeup was FLAW-LESS. I was positively glowing all day and better yet, it stayed put all day and night, even despite the weather (August humidity), and me tearing up the dance floor all night! Sam did the makeup for my bridal party, mom, and MIL as well and everyone looked incredible!
Kerry did my hair and she did an amazing job considering I wanted to change quite a bit from the trial! They worked their way through my bridesmaids, mother, flower girl and myself in an efficient time frame. They both made everyone comfortable with their looks, taking the time to listen to what each person wanted and keeping them updated throughout the process.
