S.R. Pulling Makeup Artistry

ses and extremely respectful of my space and timeline. As a true master of her craft, Sara's skill and artistry are unmatched. She has perfected the art of natural beauty and her energy and positive vibes radiate through every interaction. Sara was accommodating to any last-minute changes and helped smooth out any timeline bumps with her direct yet considerate communication. I cannot recommend Sara and S.R. Pulling MUA highly enough - she is not only an incredible makeup artist, but an amazing human being as well!!

The make-up looked stunning and lasted the entire night. I highly recommend working with Sara!

akeup application is rivaled by her expertise in people management, and she’s able to match energy as well as she matches shades. When my initial hairstylist that I booked fell through, Sara went above and beyond to help me find someone else available on my day, without having to compromise on a stylist who had lots of experience with what I wanted. Sara is the ultimate hype woman, literally every step of the way she made me feel gorgeous and radiant, all while simply highlighting my features, rather than hiding me behind a million layers of makeup. She was able to achieve my “anti-bride” look flawlessly and the morning of my wedding she was my calm rock in an anxious storm. The makeup itself stayed put all day and evening, despite crying and lots of dancing, and felt like I was wearing absolutely no makeup at all! Sara is such a special human being who is amazing at what she does, you’d be a silly goober not to book her for your wedding!

kin. I would definitely recommend booking with her!

or beauty terms, but Sara walked me through and helped me get the exact look I wanted! My bridal party was so happy with the glam team I picked and said that the atmosphere they set for the morning made it so fun and relaxing and Sara was a big part of that. I am hoping to reach out to Sara to see if she can teach me even a part of her ways so that I can do my own make up as a guest in some upcoming weddings (because I just know she will be booked solid for those days with even more lucky brides!)

me look and feel more beautiful than I have ever felt, and most importantly, I was comfortable and stress-free throughout the entire process. Sara is an absolute master at her craft, and incredibly professional every step of the way, but it was her kindness and openness that I valued the most. From our initial phone call, to the trial, to the day of, Sara had me laughing and chatting as if we had known each other for years. I felt comfortable sharing my bridal anxieties with her, and trusted that she was going to make my girls and I look our best on the big day. Because of Sara and her team, getting ready for the wedding was one of the most fun parts of the day. It was relaxed, stress-free, and fun, and I was sad to see Sara and her team go at the end of it, because I just wanted to hang out with them all day! One specific thing that sets Sara apart was her ability to work with every type of client. My mom does not wear makeup nor does she feel comfortable getting all dolled up, but Sara handled that with a pro, not making my mom feel any pressure with how she looked. She did such a masterful job that I even caught my mom checking herself out in the mirror a few times throughout the night, which never happens! Hiring Sara will be the best decision of your wedding planning experience - I cannot recommend her enough!!

s. Her attention to detail is beyond impressive. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup but wanted a look that was in between natural and a soft glam. She listed to my wants and provided her professional opinion to create an amazing look. My bridesmaids, mom and I all loved our makeup looks and received tons of compliments! My makeup looked flawless all day without any need for a touch up. I’m very happy I booked Sara for my wedding and I highly recommend her to anyone else!

y that, but my mother had never had her makeup don’t by a professional and was a little nervous. Sara made her feel so comfortable and gave her options so that she not only loved her makeup but really enjoyed the process. Plus, a makeup artist is someone you’ll be spending a lot of time with on your big day and Sara is super fun to work with.

oing for. She and her second artist made the whole process so fun, and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Her experience also clearly shows - I had mentioned I didn't think I wanted false lashes because I've never thought they looked particularly good on me. Sara recommended we go with some wispier lashes and I am so glad I listened! They looked absolutely gorgeous; this girl knows what she's doing! I also want to mention that her makeup LASTS. I cried throughout my first look and my vows, danced all night long, and my makeup did not budge. I cannot recommend Sara highly enough!!

d joy-filled! She was very proactive with her communication and every single step of the process (contract to trial to day-of timeline) was very clearly laid out. Every detail felt so personal and thoughtful, she was great with names, and everything was extremely comfortable right from the jump — like it was an old friend helping you get ready for your wedding, not just a hired vendor. I usually do not wear makeup on a day to day basis, but had a very general idea of the look I wanted and she was able to interpret my ideas into the perfect look! She had suggestions along the way but was able to guide my relative cluelessness with very straightforward and simple questions. Her energy lights up a room and she was such a beautiful addition to have in the room while our bridal party was getting ready. I especially want to point out her commitment to body positivity — despite any blemishes or insecurities you might have, one of her main mantras is that we DON’T have to apologize for anything on our bodies and it’s her job to enhance our natural beauty. Any Boston bride should 100000 percent book Sara for their wedding and I am looking forward to finding an excuse to book her for another event in the future!

her, and my now-husband's mother. The results were absolutely stunning. The makeup looked flawless and natural, and it didn't feel heavy or cakey at all. I truly felt like the best version of myself. One of the most impressive aspects was how long the makeup lasted. Despite the wind and some inevitable sweating, our makeup stayed perfect all night. The morning we spent getting ready was a highlight of the day. Sara and Alexa created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere, chatting, laughing, and enjoying music with us. They made the experience so special and enjoyable. During my makeup trial, Sara was incredibly attentive and patient, ensuring she understood exactly what I wanted. She nailed the look, and when I requested a minor change for the wedding day, she executed it perfectly. I was also impressed with her knowledge of color theory; she mixed pigments to match my foundation shade exactly, which was amazing to see. I also appreciated the skincare prep Sara did before applying the makeup. It made such a difference in how my skin looked and felt. Sara is not only extremely talented but also a genuinely sweet and kind person. Her professionalism, skill, and warmth made my wedding day so much better. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional makeup services for their big day!

we wanted, and her work held up flawlessly throughout a day of sun, tears, and vigorous dancing. She’s such a sweetheart and an absolute joy to work with, we can’t recommend her enough!

as really happy with the final outcome. I've had my makeup done in other weddings and sometimes it can look too caked on, or your eyes aren't lined right, but Sara and her assistant are beyond skilled in what they do. We had a mix of styles from natural to glam, and Sara and her assistant nailed each look. We had a large bridal party (10 total) and they were able to get us all finished within the timeline the day of Coordinator set. Despite the heat wave (it was about 95 and humid on our wedding day), our makeup lasted into the wee hours of the morning and my lashes stayed on until the next day!! I highly recommend Sara to any Bride looking for makeup on their big day! 10/10 :)

fully gave me the look that I wanted. Her overall personality made the whole experience very enjoyable. Not only is she a very talented makeup artist, she also has a very smart business mind. Her website, paying process, and organized appointment reminders created a very professional experience--which is very important when you are meeting someone for the first time. She made a great first impression and communicates VERY well. She is also a sweet person and whomever books with her next will be very happy!

rfectionist! She will make sure you look and feel your best throughout the entire process start to finish. Her portfolio is extensive and there really isn’t a look she can’t do. You won’t regret booking with her she’s fantastic!

nd her!!

able and relaxed. I got the most beautiful makeup. Will work with her again for sure!
