Because of Sara and her team, getting ready for the wedding was one of the most fun parts of the day. It was relaxed, stress-free, and fun, and I was sad to see Sara and her team go at the end of it, because I just wanted to hang out with them all day! One specific thing that sets Sara apart was her ability to work with every type of client. My mom does not wear makeup nor does she feel comfortable getting all dolled up, but Sara handled that with a pro, not making my mom feel any pressure with how she looked. She did such a masterful job that I even caught my mom checking herself out in the mirror a few times throughout the night, which never happens! Hiring Sara will be the best decision of your wedding planning experience - I cannot recommend her enough!!

She listed to my wants and provided her professional opinion to create an amazing look. My bridesmaids, mom and I all loved our makeup looks and received tons of compliments! Her experience also clearly shows - I had mentioned I didn't think I wanted false lashes because I've never thought they looked particularly good on me. Sara recommended we go with some wispier lashes and I am so glad I listened! They looked absolutely gorgeous; this girl knows what she's doing! I also want to mention that her makeup LASTS. I cried throughout my first look and my vows, danced all night long, and my makeup did not budge. I cannot recommend Sara highly enough!!

Every detail felt so personal and thoughtful, she was great with names, and everything was extremely comfortable right from the jump — like it was an old friend helping you get ready for your wedding, not just a hired vendor. I usually do not wear makeup on a day to day basis, but had a very general idea of the look I wanted and she was able to interpret my ideas into the perfect look! She had suggestions along the way but was able to guide my relative cluelessness with very straightforward and simple questions. Her energy lights up a room and she was such a beautiful addition to have in the room while our bridal party was getting ready. I especially want to point out her commitment to body positivity — despite any blemishes or insecurities you might have, one of her main mantras is that we DON’T have to apologize for anything on our bodies and it’s her job to enhance our natural beauty. Any Boston bride should 100000 percent book Sara for their wedding and I am looking forward to finding an excuse to book her for another event in the future!

One of the most impressive aspects was how long the makeup lasted. Despite the wind and some inevitable sweating, our makeup stayed perfect all night. The morning we spent getting ready was a highlight of the day. Sara and Alexa created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere, chatting, laughing, and enjoying music with us. They made the experience so special and enjoyable. During my makeup trial, Sara was incredibly attentive and patient, ensuring she understood exactly what I wanted. She nailed the look, and when I requested a minor change for the wedding day, she executed it perfectly. I was also impressed with her knowledge of color theory; she mixed pigments to match my foundation shade exactly, which was amazing to see. I also appreciated the skincare prep Sara did before applying the makeup. It made such a difference in how my skin looked and felt. Sara is not only extremely talented but also a genuinely sweet and kind person. Her professionalism, skill, and warmth made my wedding day so much better. I've had my makeup done in other weddings and sometimes it can look too caked on, or your eyes aren't lined right, but Sara and her assistant are beyond skilled in what they do. We had a mix of styles from natural to glam, and Sara and her assistant nailed each look. We had a large bridal party (10 total) and they were able to get us all finished within the timeline the day of Coordinator set. Despite the heat wave (it was about 95 and humid on our wedding day), our makeup lasted into the wee hours of the morning and my lashes stayed on until the next day!! I highly recommend Sara to any Bride looking for makeup on their big day! 10/10 :)

Her website, paying process, and organized appointment reminders created a very professional experience--which is very important when you are meeting someone for the first time.
