Meg was amazing! I've heard nothing but compliments on the service, food, and whole experience from guests. The cutest place to do an intimate wedding with your loved ones. Best experience ever.

While we initially chose SRV as our wedding venue because of the food, I will have to say the management and staff were just as incredible. Meg and the team at SRV were phenomenal throughout the entire planning process from the initial walkthrough of the space two years prior to the event all the way to the day of the ceremony. Meg worked with our wedding planner seamlessly. Our guests raved about the venue and the food, and the day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend hosting a wedding here and only wish I could give SRV 10 stars.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at SRV, and it was an exceptional experience! SRV holds a special place in our hearts as it was the first restaurant my husband and I ever went to together. It’s in our neighborhood and has since become our go-to spot for celebrating special occasions, making it the perfect choice for our pre-wedding festivities! The planning process with SRV was incredibly easy and stress-free. From day one, Megan’s amazing communication stood out. As highly organized people, we value clear and timely communication, and Megan delivered just that. She answered all of our questions and thoroughly explained the process, which made everything straightforward and enjoyable. Choosing the menu, cocktails, and wines was a highlight for us as foodies! It was so much fun selecting options that would excited our guests while reflecting our personal tastes! On the day of the event, Toni and Ted far exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly helpful in ensuring that everything ran smoothly, efficiently, and on time. Their attention to detail and seamless coordination allowed us to enjoy the evening without any worries! We are profoundly grateful for all the staff at SRV—the servers, chefs, bartenders, and everyone in between. Each person contributed to making our evening truly special. SRV went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s dietary needs and food preferences. We were impressed with how they handled various dietary restrictions with ease, ensuring that each guest enjoyed a satisfying and delicious meal. For our event, we enjoyed delicious passed cicchetti, followed by a beautifully orchestrated seated dinner, and an amazing dessert bar that was a hit with our guests! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and attended to every detail with professionalism and care. The ambiance of SRV is both elegant and inviting, providing the perfect setting for our celebration! If you are dreaming of a wedding venue that guarantees amazing food, flawless service, and zero day-of stress, then SRV is your dream come true! SRV has so much going for it to make for a truly special wedding day. 1) The head manager, Meg, is easy to work with and totally on top of things both leading up to the wedding and on the big day. 2) Their use of the space is like a well-oiled machine. The staff deftly moves the crowd around the restaurant so they can convert the ceremony space to a dining room to a dance floor without missing a beat. 3) The interior decor and ambience is industrial chic, already perfect for a city wedding, without any extra cost to furnish or decorate. We couldn't imagine having a more successful and fun wedding than the one we threw at SRV. We are deeply appreciative for everything the staff did to make us and our guests feel special. This included bagging Kane's donut to-go bags, and hosting a family of strictly kosher guests (who had an absolute blast, btw).

For any food-lover or Boston-lover, hosting your wedding at SRV is an absolute dream. The space is so beautiful and unique, and even has some outdoor elements so guests aren't confined inside on a beautiful day. If you're a bride & groom nervous about decision fatigue, you also get the benefit of having so much included: no need to think about drink permits, restrooms, generators, place settings, glassware, waitstaff – it's already there and top of the line. The venue coordinator is responsive, organized, and accommodating – and really the entire staff takes the notion of the "service industry" to another level. Having staff at your wedding that are quite literally professionals at making people feel cared for is such an important element that you didn't know you needed until you work with SRV. You are also allowed a lot of choice as it relates to selecting wines, signature cocktails, the menu itself, and little add-on treats for guests. NO ONE left hungry, including those with dietary restrictions and allergies – any and every one (even those with 3+ allergies!) was given a gourmet meal of the size and standard of everyone else's. So many guests approached me to tell me how delicious and impressive it all was. I could not recommend SRV enough. I wish I could do my wedding all over again, but thankfully it's a working restaurant that we can always stop in to relive the memories over another delicious meal :)

Highly highly recommend SRV for your wedding! It was the best decision by far that we have made. From the character in the restaurant, to the food and the service, and all right in the city, it’s the perfect spot for an intimate wedding. All of the staff there is amazing, you will not regret it!

We can't say enough positive things about our wedding at SRV in April 2022. We received countless comments from guests that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and how warm and accommodating the staff was. It look off so much pressure during the planning process that we didn't have to worry about bringing in outside catering and table/decor rentals like for some other venues. For a Saturday evening wedding in Boston, we thought the cost (a majority of which was a food and beverage minimum) was quite reasonable.

Hosting our wedding at SRV Boston was the best decision we made while wedding planning. We wanted an affordable venue that put food, drinks, and atmosphere first and fell in love when we saw SRV featured in a bridal magazine. From day one, our wedding coordinators were focused and attentive. Special ceremony requests? No problem. Extending our reception a little later? Of course. Treating us like royalty every time we dined in before the big day? You betcha. Meg (our coordinator), Marsha (the principle bartender), and all of the servers made sure our day was exactly how we imagined and did an incredible job keeping everything on track. The space was stunning on its own and we came in under budget which was a fantastic surprise. We’re already planning to go back every year for our anniversary.

SRV is everything and so much more. From the second you walk in the door the ambiance is colorful, vibrant and hip. There is a cool exposed open patio with hanging lights that is a show stopper. And of course the main reason we chose it... the delicious food and drinks. We are a foodie couple, we work in the restaurant industry so it was only natural for us to have a food inspired wedding. We worked with Megan and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was extremely attentive, quick to respond, worked with me and really helped bring our dream to life. The biggest compliment I kept getting from my guests all night was how amazing the staff was and how accommodating the staff was. I had many gluten free and vegetarian guests and they were all taken care of with no problems. The day before the wedding we did a rehearsal and it made everything feel nice and organized for the day of. When I walked into SRV on my wedding day I was shocked. They made it look more then outstanding. It was like walking into a movie! I cannot thank SRV enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

We had an absolutely incredible wedding at SRV in July 2019. After looking at 12(!) very different wedding venues, we chose SRV because it was conveniently located in a beautiful neighborhood that we love and have history in (the South End), we wanted the food at our wedding to be excellent and we wanted there to be an outdoor element to our wedding but not to depend entirely on good weather for the whole affair. The other great thing about SRV as a wedding venue is the pricing structure - instead of paying something like $6,000 just for a venue fee that basically gets you nothing but the space, SRV just charges the room minimum, which includes all the food, alcohol and dessert, not to mention the tables, chairs, napkins, lighting and all the other nonsense you have to sort out a la carte at other venues. It ALSO includes the coordination efforts of SRV’s awesome staff - we worked with Carrie and Melissa who were both so helpful, attentive, responsive and wonderful in the run up to the wedding. Ultimately, we had multiple guests tell us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that was largely down to SRV as a venue. The food was stunning, the room is so cool, and it was an added bonus that we were able to share the city that’s been our home for 10 years with all of our friends and family. (It was also nice to be able to invite some local friends at the last minute in lieu of family who declined to attend.) If you’re city people who love good food and don’t want to sink ALL of your time and effort into planning your wedding, SRV is the spot for you! We couldn’t recommend it more!

We got married at SRV in October 2018 and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. SRV has been one of our favorite restaurants in Boston since they opened, so when we got engaged it seemed like an obvious choice. The setting is beautiful yet modern and fun, the food is always on point and delicious and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and hospitable. Carrie (events manager and our contact through the entire planning process) is kind, patient, helpful and very experienced. Chefs Michael, Kevin and Meg are very sweet and made some incredible food that my friends and family are still saying is the best wedding meal they’ve had to date. Everyone was extremely accommodating and understanding of every request, however ridiculous it may have been. As someone who plans events myself, I have very high standards and notice every little detail, and these guys left not a hair out of place. They truly knocked it out of the park. Our wedding would not have turned out as amazing as it did without the lovely staff here at SRV. Not to mention the ease of getting married at a restaurant, and how gorgeous our photos turned out! Thank you, SRV, for hosting us on the best day of our lives!

I am the owner and wedding planner for Twist Six Events and I had the pleasure of working with the team at SRV for a wedding in September. Carrie, the onsite manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with as was every staff member we encountered! Carrie was very responsive and you can tell she cares deeply about the event’s success and the couple’s happiness! The venue itself is beautiful and has multiple outdoor areas. If you are getting married at a restaurant, obviously food is very important to you and SRV knocks it out of the park! The dishes are delicious, creative and customized to match the couple’s personality and style! I hope to have the opportunity to work there again soon!
