We are so happy we chose She Said Yes Weddings to help us plan our wedding in Lake Tahoe. Karie is incredibly sweet and helped us stay on track the entire planning process. She was also so flexible with us and helped us through the hardships brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic. We appreciate all her advice, wedding expertise, and words of encouragement. Karie was not just a wedding coordinator, but a friend too. Our wedding day went so smoothly because of She Said Yes Weddings, and WOW I am so happy we said yes. There are literally no words to describe how amazing Karie is. I first reached out to She Said Yes winter of 2018 for a 2020 Tahoe wedding. I was in Montana finishing Grad school, my fiancé was stationed in Alaska and my family was in California. We started to plan our dream wedding with the most amazing vendor team, who Karie helped put to together. Then COVID happened. I honestly know I would not have been able to continue the planning process if I didn’t have Karie. Through multiple date changes, venue changes, etc Karie kept it all together. I have talked with her at least once a month for the last 3 years and she planned the most amazing day I could have ever imagined. I have recommended Karie from the first meeting and will forever recommend her services to anyone I meet. I will forever cherish the friendship that we have built through this process. Could not have asked for a better wedding planner. I’m so glad I said yes to she said yes 🤍🤍🤍

Wow, I really cannot say enough good things about Karie and her team! From the day we hired them until we loaded up the taxi after the reception, Karie was a responsive and calming presence. She helped me and my husband through the constantly changing COVID guidelines, seamlessly coordinated all of vendors, and when I forgot things on the day of the wedding, she was there to jump in and help. Our day was so smooth, and we largely have Karie and her team to thank for that!

Hiring Karie from She Said Yes was the best decision I made in our wedding planning process. Karie was there for us every step of the way, and was never more than a quick email or text away. Our monthly phone calls kept me on track with what my tasks were for the month and what was coming up. I always knew where I stood in my planning and was able to be prepared for what was next! Due to COVID and so many other surrounding circumstances beyond our control, my fiancé, me, and Karie went on an adventure which involved postponing our wedding from 2020 into 2021, and eventually having to cancel it altogether. While there were definitely some bumps in the road, none of these were related to Karie, in fact she made those bumps into a manageable and easy to understand hiccup. Karie fought for our wedding just as hard as we did, and although we ended up having to cancel our event, I have no doubt in my mind that had our wedding been able to proceed, Karie and her team would have been amazing, and would have made the event an unforgettable one. If you are debating on whether or not to hire this thoughtful, kind, and talented women, trust me and do it. I wouldn't have been able to navigate the craziness without her!

Karie and her team were wonderful throughout the planning process. She tagged along to all of our vendor meetings, drove to our venue multiple times to walk through the day with me ( her son even tagged along to walk my dog), and picked rentals up that were out of the way for us !We had monthly calls were she answered all of my questions and gave me a to do list, so helpful! Karie even made a special trip to our cabin a few days before the wedding to sift through all of my DIY materials to help me organize them and make sure they would fit the design. I honestly wish I would have just left all the planning to her from the beginning.

Literally can’t say enough about Karie. In my opinion, she could have charged us wayyyy more for what she did. First of all, our venue was in South Lake Tahoe and she lives in Reno/Sparks area. She drove to South Lake Tahoe just to go over our layout and it was like a 5 minute meeting. She drove there for rehearsal. And then for the wedding! I was struggling with find affordable but beautiful flowers and she helped me pick out an amazing team. We met with her almost monthly and she was so supportive of all my ideas. I told her last minute details I wanted to throw in, I’m talking LAST MINUTE like rehearsal lol, and she is like “yup. Okay. Done!” I was freaking out the whole month before my wedding about the weather. She was so calming and (she was right by the way) that I didn’t need to worry and we would figure it out. THEN!!!! The wedding day!!! Oh my gosh. I don’t even know how she did it. Set up our sweets table, and all the guests tables and chairs and our gifts table and just everything! It was soooooo gorgeous and us!!! All of our vendors knew her and she had it set up so nobody was questioning us they just went straight to her. Karie is amazing- hands down. It’s so fun to have someone see your idea, get as excited as you, and then makes your dream an even better reality. Karie, we love you so much and thank you for making our day so special & amazing. 💙

Hiring Karie and her team from She Said Yes was such a blessing for us! I am an extremely organized person and thought I was going to be a rockstar wedding planner but the combination of being in a graduate program, planning our wedding in Tahoe from Southern CA, and booking the most "do it yourself" venue ever left me feeling panicky about pulling off the wedding we dreamed of. Immediately after my first phone call with Karie, I was confident and excited for our wedding again. She was SO knowledgeable, listened to my worries and came up with solutions immediately. We had a pretty simple wedding on the scale of decor and details so we were looking for someone to basically assist us with coordinating all of our vendors and helping us through the process of working with a completely bare/low-electricity venue. She did all of this with ease and SO SO much more. As just ONE example of her going above and beyond... she met us in Reno on Easter weekend and worked with our party rental company to open on a day they were closed so that we could do a private appointment. Not only did we have a VIP experience at the rental company on a day that they were closed but she met us there on a weekend morning with a huge smile and lots of excitement. Karie coordinated multiple conference calls with my vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and understood all the details of the day and our vision. This is WAY more effort than many of my friends' coordinators put into the planning process at the "day-of coordination" level and she even helped us connect with a new photographer (who we LOVED) after losing our photographer late in the game. On the day of our wedding we simply could not have done it without her and her amazing team. They coordinated the entire timeline, herded my wild wedding party, and stayed late (Like 12am late) after to gather every last detail. As a sweet side note, my fiance and I are Christian and Karie and her team/our vendors prayed over our wedding. This still makes me emotional because of the love and care she poured into our special day. She is such a gem and I cannot gush about this team enough. HIGHLY recommend!

Hiring Karie was hands-down the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. She was with us every step of the way and through every little detail you could imagine! She met with us monthly and was quick to respond to every one of my (many) texts or emails. I was not one of those brides that had pictured her wedding day her whole life, so I just started giving Karie small ideas that my husband and I would come up with here and there and she would give us suggestions or changes to help us create the fall-theme we were going for. I can honestly say that any picture that my husband and I had in our heads about what our wedding would look like was exceeded tenfold when we saw how Karie and Alex set up all of the decor and how they handled the entire day. She kept us calm through our weather scares and was quick to unpack our emergency umbrellas as soon as the rain started after dinner. I don't think our day would have been nearly as perfect as it was without her running the show in the background. I even had family members approach me the next day commenting on how silent and professional she and her husband were throughout the entire night. Sometimes when you think of coordinators, you think of them as being bossy or interruptive. Karie was extremely respectful, friendly, efficient and worked well with all of our other vendors. I also admire how well she can organize and focus between weddings. We once had a meeting with her right after another bride and groom and she was able to switch right back into our wedding like she hadn’t been talking about the other one for an hour previously. She truly has a passion for this and it shows through her work and excitement as her next wedding approaches. She made us feel so comfortable and saved us from so much added stress. If you’re playing with the idea of hiring a coordinator, I highly recommend moving forward with it and booking with She Said Yes... you won’t regret it!!

Karie and team are absolute ROCKSTARS! I honestly don't know what I would have done without their help for our big day. Not only are they so nice and professional, they get STUFF done! As a bride and with pre-wedding day jitters, they led the charge from the rehearsal through to the end of our big day and night. They really take the time to make sure all vendors are aligned prior to the wedding, and allowed me and my husband to truly enjoy and celebrate with our family and friends. If you need a wedding planner or coordinator, look no further!! Karie is absolutely amazing and made our wedding INCREDIBLE. We were planning remotely from Las Vegas for our Lake Tahoe wedding and she was a life-saver. She went out of the way to help us out, to connect with vendors for me, and even let me ship things to her in Reno instead of having to drive them up ourselves! We had meetings every month and she always brought up things for the big day that I would have never even thought of. She provided the help I needed to turn the wedding of my dreams into a reality and had great suggestions for decor, set up, etc. A few months out she started building a timeline for the wedding day and it was so helpful and reassuring for me to have a run-down of how our day would flow. Everyone was commenting on how chill I was in the days before the wedding and it was because I knew I was in great hands! Our wedding turned out so beautiful and I could have never done it without the help of her and her team. Everything went perfect on the day (and if something did go wrong Karie was so amazing I'm sure I wouldn't have even known!).

Where do I start?! My husband told me that we didn’t need a wedding coordinator, that it was a waste of money and we had everything handled. He quickly changed his tune when we met Karie. She was there from start to finish and helped me more than I knew I needed. She was my voice of reason when things started getting stressful. She was my best friend through the whole wedding planning and execution. My husband now says that Karie is the best money we spent on our wedding!! Karie was so incredible during the planning stages of our weddings. She met with us monthly to get updates on what we have planned and helped us decide our next steps. Karie was INCREDIBLE!!! I have a very hectic work schedule and was a little worried going into planning the wedding that I would be overwhelmed but she handled everything!!! From handling vendors once my husband and I had picked our people to managing the too drunk groomsmen on the day of I could not have asked for more. I'm a wedding photographer and as a wedding vendor I don't leave reviews very often, but Karie with She Said Yes is an absolute treat to work with! I cannot speak highly enough of this miracle-working woman and her company! She goes above and beyond for each of her couples. Karie is the best!!! We could not have pulled off this beautiful wedding without her and her team. I am the mother of the bride so I have a few years of experience behind me. Karie was a life saver during the planning and execution of my daughter's wedding. She worked closely with my daughter during the planning and was such a great help. We went into the wedding day with confidence knowing we had Karie there. She did not disappoint!! The entire day ran smoothly because of her. Not once did she bother me the whole day but instead figured out all that needed to be done and solved any problems that arose. I felt so free to enjoy my daughter's wedding day! Karie was absolutely amazing to work with! She was on top of every detail for the entire year leading up to the wedding and ensured that everything we wanted was incorporated into our big day. Any time I had a question or concern, Karie responded almost immediately and always put my mind at ease. My husband and I live in San Francisco, so throughout the month of the wedding she made sure we didn't miss any phone call meetings and even scheduled group phone calls with the vendors so that we were all on the same page. Karie and Brittney were a joy to work with! Over the course of several weeks, they coordinated among numerous vendors, our wedding venue, and also held multiple alignment calls with us prior to the big day. Karie MacLeod is extremely professional, and she brings a team to ensure everything is taken care of during the event. We had a number of unexpected deviations from the plan, and she came up with a resolution on her own by taking into account the bride and groom's wishes from the pre-planning sessions. Karie works so hard to make sure your wedding is perfect. She is extremely affordable and she goes above and beyond throughout the whole planning process. She plans monthly meetings and is on-call for any questions you may have. During our wedding, she bussed all of the tables and even cut our cake for guests. She is relatable and friendly. Her expert knowledge on all things wedding helped me have the wedding of my dreams.

Hiring Karie as our coordinator was a no brainer! From the first phone conversation, I could tell we were in great hands for our big day. She was organized every step of the way. We hired her for month of coordination and we got every penny worth through the process. Not being from Reno, I had no idea where to start when looking for a wedding coordinator. I called around and when talking to some planners, I didn't quite "click" with any until I spoke to Karie. She was down to earth, sweet and knew what she was talking about. When I moved to Reno we met right away and all my opinions were confirmed about her. She knew some of my vendors that I had already selected and was so supportive through the whole process. Planning a wedding is nerve-wracking but with the right team on your side, things went so smoothly. She really put me at ease. As a wedding planner/coordinator myself, I know how important it is to have at least a Day of Coordinator, which is what Karie did for my husband and I. Throughout the whole planning process she was there for me, she was professional, and she offered a ton of ideas when I was stumped about how to do some kind of decor. She followed my very detailed set up instructions with a smile on her face. I can't imagine how everything would have turned out without her. Now, I also have had the pleasure of working with Karie at weddings and events. I can tell you that she is caring towards her clients, and she puts her heart and her soul into each wedding she coordinates.
