Milestone was a really helpful bridge between us and St. Francis and we are thankful for them because St. Francis treated us terribly since the beginning. As a wedding client, we b...
ecame wine club members and put in a huge wine order. As such, we’d expect to be treated at least as well as other wine club members, but despite this the winery made it painfully obvious that they view wedding clients as second class citizens. They were rude and even combative all the way through. Thank goodness we kept our flowers in our hotel, because the scrap of grass they give you for flowers, beer, soda, etc. is out in the open, and in direct sunlight they would have been totally ruined if we left them there overnight and all the next day until 6pm. The venue itself could not have been more gorgeous, but just prepare to be treated terribly. The wine is also passable, but not that good.
It was the perfect place, when I’m telling you nothing went wrong and the place was so beautiful! People who work there were amazing!
We had our destination wedding at St. Francis in September 2018, and it was absolute perfection! The setting is gorgeous (our guests still comment on this), the wine is wonderful (...
our guests still comment on this, too!), and the staff is fabulous. We worked with Katie on our wine selections for the wedding, as well as many other odds and ends leading up to that day - what else can we say except that she is AMAZING! She was so great to work with and sincerely cared about helping us make our day everything we could have hoped for and more. Choosing to have our wedding at St. Francis truly made for the most special day.
The most beautiful setting to get married in wine country. We had always pictured getting married at a vineyard and St Francis was more than I could have imagined. I loved how ever...
ything was in the same space which made everything flow together perfectly. We paid for the extra hour which was totally worth it. They were super flexible with us starting the ceremony early as well because we got married in October when the sun sets early. Highly recommend going to visit to see how beautiful it is!
St. Francis Winery was the PERFECT place for our wedding! From the moment we toured, we fell in love. The event manager, Katie, is an absolute joy to work with. She went above and ...
beyond multiple times to make our dream day come true with so much warmth, joy, and true love for her couples and job. The venue itself is as close to the vineyards as you'll get - with a perfectly manicured lawn, alfresco dining under market lights, the beautiful mountains in the background, a lovely patio, and perfect dance hall, the evening flowed perfectly. It is such a naturally beautiful property which lends well to a perfect wine country wedding.
We HIGHLY Recommend St. Francis for your wedding - everything about it was perfect and you will have the most incredible wedding!
St. Francis was the perfect venue for Nate and I. We knew from the second we set foot on the property that we wanted to get married there. Throughout the whole process, Katie was i...
ncredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive. She truly helped make our wedding perfect.
St. Francis is such a special place and we’re so fortunate to be able to come up to Santa Rosa and continue to visit often!
I cannot even begin to say how wondering St. Francis was for our wedding dinner! Mitch's parents have belonged to the wine club for years - it's such a beautiful location and we lo...
ve their wines! I've had the opportunity to have wine-paired meals there before, so I knew the food would be fantastic and Chef Dustin did not disappoint. The food was absolutely incredible - our friends and family are still talking about it almost a week later! All of the staff we worked with were so helpful and professional, walking us through each step of the planning process. We were planning our wedding from a distance (Indiana), so knowing that they had everything handled made it so nice to just show up and have fun with our guests. They even worked with the florist so that the tables were decorated and set up when we got there - we didn't have to do anything except provide a seating chart. We are so, so happy that we got to create this memory at such a special place that means so much to us. Thank you to Katie, Andrea, Chef Dustin, and all staff for making our wedding celebration absolutely perfect!
We absolutely adored working with St. Francis, in particularly, Katie, for our wedding this summer. First of all, Katie is the kindest, most accommodating, and responsive person ev...
er. She's extremely professional and went above and beyond for us multiple times – she was flexible, wanted to make sure we had the wedding we wanted, and spent a ton of time and energy making sure we were happy... even after the wedding!
When we were looking for a venue, it was hard to find a place as beautiful, spotless, timeless, and classic as St. Francis. We kept feeling like everywhere we went was a long list of rules. But Katie and the team at St. Francis wanted to work WITH us, not AGAINST us, to make our dreams come true. We had a magical wedding, and we have St. Francis to thank. We had a beautiful night, the gardens were spotless, the lawn was.... THE LAWN. Have you seen the lawn!??!?!
Thank you Katie and the team at St. Francis! We love you and hope other couples get to experience the magic of St. Francis!!!
The view is magical but comes with a heavy price, with unfortunately no help from the winery. You even have to pay extra for a dance floor. However, we hardly needed any decor beca...
use the winery is just perfect with jaw dropping views. Worth the money.
There is truly not a more beautiful place to get married in the Sonoma Wine Country! The exquisite lavender fields that surround the vineyard and the lovely hillside back drop -- i...
n one word -- breathtaking! Our friends and family were absolutely blown away by the this gorgeous wedding venue. The food is amazing, the service is second to none -- and St Francis will make sure that your wedding day is everything you have always dreamed of. Thank you St Francis -- our wedding was beautiful and we cannot thank you enough!
Such a beautiful venue. Having dinner on lawn and cigars on patio was perfect! Only complaint all dancing had to be done inside and it was too beautiful of a night to go inside.
This is THE place to have a vineyard wedding. It is one of the only wineries where you can have the actual ceremony up next to the actual vineyards. The views of the mountains and ...
vineyards behind you as you say "I Do" is unbeatable. It is breathtaking. The lawn area was large enough to have our ceremony in one part and have all the tables (13 tables) setup for the reception already on another part of the lawn and it didn't feel squished at all. When you walk down the aisle the setting is gorgeous and you can't help but look around and take in the natural beauty during the ceremony. All our guests loved the location! There is also an indoor area for dancing and cake with hardwood floors and large enough for a cake table and the DJ and has a nice large fireplace for decor. It was beautiful. The slate patio is another area for smaller wedding receptions and you can have twinkle lights put up on the trees to add beautiful lighting during your event. The bell tower rings when you are "married" and makes for some lovely photo ops in front of it. it is also centrally located to Santa Rosa or Sonoma. Beautiful!
we couldn't have been more pleased with our venue. It is a wonderful size for 100-150 guests and you have the entire winery all to yourself. Guests can stroll in the vineyard a b...
it and see the grapevines up close. There are several different areas to spend time in, which makes the venue an interesting place to spend time. Loved it!
My wedding was located at St Francis Winery and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! The scenery was magnificent - the mountains in the background along with the vineyar...
d and grassy courtyard area were absolutely breathtaking. My photos are amazing! The winery was very professional and worked with me to provide me with the wedding of my dreams!
The only thing I wish had been a little different was to have had access to their outdoor speaker system for my music selections. I did not have live musicians because I wanted very unique and non-traditional songs played during the ceremony so I had to use an iPod and docking stations. The docking station and speakers worked fine but it still would have been nice to use.
Otherwise it was perfect! I have no complaints!
St. Francis was the perfect place to get married! The food and staff were outstanding and the location was beautiful.
