I was pleased with the amount of communication following the initial proposal for bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, etc. But upon pickup the day before my wedding, I was a little underwhelmed. For the cost of the flowers, I was not very pleased...
, and did not love the bridal bouquet. Flower colors were not to my expectation and one color I had specifically requested NOT be used, was. Specifically requested amaranthus was not used in a way I had imagined. Perhaps that’s on me to have expressly stated be done differently, but for the cost of the flowers and service, I was not pleased. The staff, however, was very kind and personable! Just would not recommend them if flowers are one of your more important elements for your wedding.

After searching Pinterest for flower ideas, like all brides, I knew exactly how I wanted the centerpieces, bouquets, & other floral arrangements for my wedding. I had very specific flowers in mind. A big color that we wanted to use was red. At ...
first I was really against using red roses. I wanted our wedding to be very unique & red roses were just too classic. However, when we met with Samantha for our consultation, she showed me a SPECIFIC type of red rose that was so unique & I fell in love with it! Last minute, a few weeks before our wedding, I added an arrangement for our welcome sign to our order. On the day of our wedding all of our arrangements were absolutely perfect! But I noticed that the arrangement was not delivered with the rest of our flowers. It turns out that it was never added to our final order, & I had already paid for it. It was not that big of a deal that the piece was missing (our welcome sign kept getting blown to the ground anyway & a floral arrangement on it would’ve made that situation even worse), but I of course wanted a refund for that piece. I called St Ignace in Bloom the week after our wedding & discovered that Samantha was in the hospital when I had discussed adding that floral arrangement to our order over email! They were very apologetic & prompt in refunding us the money for that arrangement. It absolutely blew my mind to find out that Samantha was in the hospital & still working out of her hospital bed! Just shows how awesome Samantha is & how much she really cares about her brides!! I tend to overthink things & set my expectations pretty high—I was afraid that things would not be just how I envisioned them, but Samantha & the rest of her team at St Ignace in Bloom absolutely exceeded my expectations in making our wedding day absolutely perfect! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Samantha & her dedication to her work & her clients! You will not be disappointed when choosing St Ignace in Bloom for your wedding day!!

Sam was also amazing to work with, prompt with questions and requests and when we ran into a small snag on our wedding day she fixed it immediately!! They got all of our flowers over to Mission Point early on our wedding day so we could set up and they also helped with set up and brought extra greenery to fill things in. The Cypress Room at Mission Point is gorgeous on its own but the centerpieces that Sam and her team came up with provided just enough delicate beauty for our reception. In my pinterest frenzy I even requested over the top, greenery chandeliers. Samantha's cousin, who was on the ferry, overheard my cries and called Samantha, who in turn, called the Grand Hotel. By the time we got off the ferry, we rode up to the Grand and my "substitute" bouquet was ready for me. Although my "substitute" wasn't as beautiful as the one Samantha made for me, it certainly was better than nothing.
