Carla is such a charming lady and performed a lovely ceremony for my daughter and her new husband recently on the lawn at the King & Prince beside the ocean. My daughter and son-i...
n-law had originally planned for a friend of theirs to officiate the wedding but that person had to regrettably cancel a just few weeks before the big day and we had to scramble to find someone. The coordinators at the King & Prince recommended her and after meeting with her my daughter and son-in-law were delighted. She also gave them a great referral for a photographer - Lone Pine Photography, that we needed to locate at the last minute as well due to another friend canceling on their promise to professionally photograph the wedding. We all couldn't have been happier with the both of them. Carla stepped in and saved the day as if she was to have performed the ceremony all along!
Carla Pryor at St. Simons Elopements was amazing! We worked together for a little over a year planning everything for a perfect outdoor wedding at the Lighthouse/A W Jones Heritage...
Center. She answered all questions, suggested vendors, ideas, and checked and rechecked all the small details. She is amazing!
We did the day-of+ service with Carla and we were very happy with the service.
Carla Pryor of St. Simons Elopements was simply amazing. From our first conversation she helped me get local vendors set up and start planning the day. Mid-stream we upgraded from ...
small elopement of 10 people to a full wedding of 50 with string-quartet and television film crew! Carla handled everything from flowers to chair rentals and even performed the ceremony herself! It all worked out wonderfully.

She braved a rehearsal with us even in an approaching thunderstorm outside with a calmness and assurance that everything would be just fine...and it was! Despite an ominous-looking pre- and post-wedding bit of weather, the ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch--a miracle! The ceremony did not leave many with dry eyes. It was truly a special day which she noted on her website blog a few days later.
Carla did a wonderful job as an officiant. She is a great listener and really took the time to get to know my husband and me before the wedding. She also listened to all my woes as...
I was beginning the planning process. I feel like I've walked away from this wedding with not only a great officiant, but a new friend in our lives. We had a non-religious wedding and she made it beautiful.
