Stacy Able Photography

acy was able to capture some of the best pictures we have ever seen, even with the last minute change. She was professional, kind, and efficient the entire time. We truly felt at ease and in good hands the whole day. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, don’t walk, RUN to book Stacy!

h a remarkable ability to put people at ease, but she also overdelivers with her images in every way. The way she captured our engagement session and a full weekend of wedding festivities blew us away and is something we'll cherish forever. Even our guests commented on how she really got in the action and captured the dance floor without impacting the vibe, and those are some of our favorite photographs from the night. My parents also could not stop raving about what a delight she was and how painless she made the process of many formal photos. It is true that you will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than anyone else - and there is not a better person to have by your side than Stacy.

helped guide us on everything from how to get my dress on to how to cut the cake. We did our engagement photos with her and I highly recommend doing that with her as well. Our engagement shoot made us feel more comfortable, and reassured us that Stacy was the perfect fit for our wedding.

cision! She is very talented, stylish and has good taste of photos. More important, she is very easy to work with and patient to hear what the couple’s need is when it comes to the photos. We all love working with her and would for sure reconsider her for any family photos later. If you want to have too many favorite wedding pictures to pick from, she is the one for you!

I wanted and it is impossible to pick my favorites because they are all my favorites. She is super easy to work with and would highly recommend for anyone getting married!

(14 on each side…) and she did the absolute best job. She is efficient, thorough, and so upbeat! Such a pleasure to work with and we absolutely love all of our photos!! Could not recommend her more.

ove. Highly reccomend!

attention to detail to capture beautiful candid moments really blew me away. Our photographer was such an important decision and Stacy really gave us everything we could have hoped for. She’s super professional and it’s clear how passionate she is with her work and love showing it off in our home now and for years to come. We cannot thank her enough and highly recommend! It’s been a whirlwind of a year with wedding rescheduling so appreciate all of her efforts despite being jam packed this year. Hope we get to work with her more in the future!

o capture the atmosphere and create your unique story.

question, I will be calling her as when my other children start planning their weddings - or for any other events that call for a photographer! THANKS STACY!

n them!

an impressive timeline (which she kept us on), was very open to our ideas and provided us solid direction and feedback. She and her husband were with us the majority of our wedding day and they captured some truly swoon worthy moments that we'll remember forever. Stacy made the entire experience so positive and if you're looking for a photographer who is easy to work with, dedicated, organized, has great energy, and is beyond talented, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

r wedding plans changed multiple times. Stacy went above and beyond to adjust to the changes, and we so appreciated her flexibility and support. We were able to still be married in a very small ceremony on our original date, which Stacy was able to capture. Having her there made the day feel even more special which meant so much to us. She captured these memories beautifully with images we will always treasure. She is also kind, funny, and put us completely at ease in front of the camera. We are so thankful to Stacy and her team and have the highest regard for her and her beautiful work.

ativity and her ability to capture light and energy (all while wearing a mask and social distancing) meant our photos turned out beautifully! We couldn’t be happier with how she captured our day.

k with, her work shows the experience and dedication she puts in to get to know you as a couple, the venue(s) you're event is taking place in, and the people and personalities that make the day so memorable. We live in California and had a wedding in Indiana, and she was so flexible with our availability in pre-planning calls. She captured every little detail of our big day, and even the ones we didn't even know where happening! Stacy is organized and thoughtful in every photography timeline request. From family photos, to private sunset photos... every detail was planned and every picture is frame-worthy. Not to mention, her team is creative and supportive and willing to do whatever it takes to get THE shot. We are forever grateful to Stacy for capturing photos we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. Do yourself a favor and hire Stacy. You'll realize in one kickoff phone call that you made the best choice possible.

in love with the photos (and her!).

nt photos. The engagement photos were taken in Chicago on a very cold day in November. Judging from the photos ( which are amazing), you would have never known and my daughter and her fiancé had fun during the process. On the wedding day, Stacy and her husband, Walter, (consider yourself lucky if you get to have Walter as her assistant!) made the day run perfectly smoothly. Any photographer can take a photo, it takes a very special one to capture subtle looks, expressions and pure joy. Stacy did this- and we haven't even seen the full set of images! She took advantage of perfect lighting during sunset to whisk away my daughter and her husband for some very special photos. We cannot wait to see the entire collection in a few weeks! If you are looking for a photographer who is fun to work with, beyond professional, and who will capture very special photos of your special day, look no further!

n just photography. My fiance and I are very camera shy but Stacy worked her magic and our photos came out stunning. I can't recommend her enough for someone to trust to give you great memories on your wedding day!

gave us a glimpse of who these people are. We wanted not just visual documentation of our day, but those sparkle-in-the-eyes moments that happen when groups of people who love each other gather in celebration. We got that with Stacy. Even the static group photos were staged thoughtfully, beautifully, and without pretension. When our outdoor venue was rained on, Stacy rolled with it and got some beautiful photos of us taking advantage of the rain (instead of lamenting it). All the while, Stacy was getting soaked and continuing to suggest great shots. Rain or no, we knew Stacy would be the right person for the job and we were very thankful for the results. We would go with Stacy again in an instant.

the tiny details, big moments and everything in between. When our pictures were ready she sent a little gift along with some printed photos and are leather bound photo book. But there's MORE - since our 2015 wedding Stacy has captured many more photos for us including a photo shoot with our pups, maternity shoot, lifestyle photos and more! She is our forever photographer!

e urging of a friend and I was blown away. Her photos are always beautiful and she has such an incredible talent!! She is able to capture the essence of everyone - and everything- she photographs, whether it’s a formal engagement or bridal session or a now-socially-distanced front porch pet session. She put both my fiancé and I at ease during our session and made it FUN! I am certainly biased, lol, but we have the most stunning engagement photos. Stacy was so laid back and easy to work with- truly a professional. I could not be happier with how our photos turned out and can’t wait to see our wedding photos (however and whenever that happens- fingers crossed Dec. 11th)! I was so glad she was available for our date and, truth be told, I would have changed our date to fit her schedule if she wasn’t. She is that good.

napolis, alone, with our families watching over zoom and postpone our wedding celebration for a year. One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wearing a mask and maintain a distance, we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. She was professional, prompt, helpful, and boy is she talented - just the best experience possible. It was beyond our expectations. People are still contacting me months after to tell me how great our photos look - like, friends of friends and beyond. People we don't even know are contacting me about these pictures. Hire Stacy! If you are looking at this and would like to talk to me, please ask Stacy for my contact information so I can answer any of your questions, I am happy to connect and give a glowing recommendation. This was the best part about our wedding.

usband and I love that special day. To this day we can look back at that day through those photos and remember every second. I could not imagine anyone else as our photographer. She is 100% the best!

going into it. I loved her enthusiasm when I would throw an idea out there - she would run with it and she brought it to life. Yes, I had a wedding planner, but I consider Stacy a planner herself! She memorized the itinerary and knew exactly what was going on at all times. She gave me comfort with how on top of it she was! Also, her assistant/hubby Walter was awesome! It poured rain for most of the day and the two of them made me feel like it was a beautiful day. I highly recommend her! You will NOT regret it.

ut better than I could've imagined. She took charge, but not in a bossy way. She needed to control 14 people before rain came and we got a lot of shots because of it. Stacy will be doing all of my future photos to come.

photo shoot, she kept in touch with us throughout the winter based on the forecast and was flexible scheduling our session until we found the perfect snow day. When the perfect snow day finally came, she bundled up and braved the cold with us, keeping a sense of humor all while taking stunning photographs in the pouring snow. When our wedding day arrived months later with rain, we knew it wouldn't stop Stacy from getting the best photos possible - not after braving a snowstorm! Despite the overcast, rainy day, she found a way to make our photos full of light. Not only that, but she captured the love, joy, and laughter of our wedding day so perfectly. When we look back at our photos they truly capture "us" and the memories we will treasure forever. I highly recommend Stacy Able - she is a professional, incredibly talented, and an all-around great person to work with.

he is calm, cool and collected, has a knack for organizing large (rowdy) crows, and has an innate talent for recognizing special guests at your wedding and photographing them. Stacy was also super helpful at keeping us on time throughout the day. She is a seasoned professional and it shows. Do not hesitate to book her for your wedding, you will have a photographer for life!

up in a friend's wedding in Indianapolis where Stacy and her husband Walter were the photographers and I thought she had the sweetest demeanor and personality. After seeing those beautiful photos come back, I felt strongly about reaching out to her to see if we could convince her to come shoot our wedding in Chicago. Not only was she up for it, she also drove all the way up here for our engagement session. The day of our wedding, Stacy was so sweet and excited that she showed up early to start shooting. Her and Walter were both so professional and organized but also so fun to spend time with on our big day. We haven't even gotten our photos back yet (it's only been a week =]), but from the few we have seen her post, HOLY SMOKES, they're amazing!! They so capture the huge amount of love and joy we were feeling all day. Everyone has been commenting endlessly about how beautiful and perfect they are and how much they show our personalities. I can't wait to see the rest of them and treasure them for a lifetime. We cannot thank Stacy enough for putting her personal touch on our vision of the day and taking the most beautiful photos we could have asked for. I cannot recommend her enough, THANK YOU Stacy!!

ular. We are SO lucky to have had her - we *love* our wedding photos so much!! Not only is she super talented, she had a great way of making us feel natural and calm during shoots. My husband does not enjoy getting his photo taken, and she made him feel very comfortable and that helped to make our photos even better! She has great communication and is very responsive with her brides. She listened to every detail, and was patient with me throughout the entire wedding planning process as I asked several questions. I really value her opinion, as she is a well-known and respected photographer. I asked her for opinion many times, and she always gave me firsthand insight based on what she knew was important to me. We got to be good friends through the year, and I love that she loves dogs as much as we do! We feel we've found our photographer for our new family and I can't wait to hire her again in the future!

though this took place on a very gloomy Fall day, you would never knew from the photos. Also shout out to Walter for wrangling our Bernese Mountain Dog pup all day! It was such a pleasure having Stacy and Walter there for our wedding. They helped so much with small details throughout the day; between boutonnieres and bobby pins, they did it all! We got our photos back quickly and absolutely love all the special moments that Stacy captured throughout the day. This was hands down the best decision we made about our wedding! Thank you Stacy and Walter!

worked behind the scenes to get all the great shots. The photos turned out AMAZING and we had all them all in two weeks - I've heard stories of people waiting months for their photos so I wasn't expecting them this quickly. People have been raving non stop about the photos and we couldn't be happier with them.

her, she was friendly, accommodating (we had to change up our engagement photos a few times due to weather and she was incredibly flexible), efficient, and made us feel super comfortable. We wanted to have our pup included in our wedding photos and she even went as far as contacting one of her friends to pick up our pup and bring her to the location for photos (which didn't end up happening due to weather- but it's the thought that counts)! Even our friends and families at the wedding could not stop talking about how amazing she was, she told everyone exactly where to go, how to pose, and made even the most awkward of people feel comfortable posing for photos. You cannot go wrong in hiring Stacy as your photographer, she is truly incredible!

gan Banks I couldn’t be happier.

diately called me and it felt like I was talking to a good friend the minute we started talking. Stacy was very personable and made me feel completely comfortable with her. Aside from being my photographer, she also gave me suggestions on where to shop for my wedding gown and my bridesmaid dresses. When it came to the day of, Stacy was quick, efficient, and wonderful. She captured my special day better than I could have ever imagined. I will continue to choose Stacy Able for any photography needs in the future!

dding day pictures and every one is great!

en more special that she was apart of it! Working with her was a blast plus she made us feel not only comfortable but confident getting our pictures taken. Not to mention her remarkable talent in photography and ability to capture your special day perfectly. There is no doubht I would refer StacyAble Photography to any bride!

ave loved them more! I knew immediate I had nothing to worry about when she gave us a sneak peak during the session. Both our engagement and wedding pictures were absolutely beautiful and our family and friends could not stop talking about them for months after. Stacy brought her husband Walter as her second shooter on the day of the wedding and both were wonderful to work with. Stacy had our pictures back to us within ONE week of our wedding! I can’t think of one negative thing with my experience working with Stacy. She was a dream to work with and her work is breathtaking.

, a family session, and then our wedding day all within the last year. She delivered such stunning galleries each and every time! I am so thrilled that we chose her to document our day, we could not be happier with our entire experience!

ents and she was very flexible on creating a photography package that worked best for us and our budget. Our customer package included our engagement photo session, wedding photos, our hardback wedding album, and a flash drive with all of our images. On our wedding day, we went to the grounds of the IMA (now Newfields) and was very familiar with the layout for the ideal pictures. We felt completely comfortable and trusted her eye to capture our special day. We would highly recommend choosing Stacy for your wedding day or for any event. She is very thoughtful and one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process.

/family and then did an absolutely outstanding job of capturing our day.

ctly and made us feel so comfortable. She is very professional and skilled. She did an incredible job with our time restraints and limited photo location options. She did an excellent job and I would highly recommend her

Stacy is a true professional who is responsive and reliable. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. We loved working with her and highly recommend Stacy!!

r photos. Stacy is extremely organized and great at being available for any and all questions. Her creative vision is unmatched with anything I have ever seen. She truly caters your photos to you as a couple, yet will still work with you if you have questions for locations/unique shots. Stacy ensures the couple feels top priority throughout both the engagement shoot/wedding day. She truly listened to what we wanted and made it all happen and MORE! I am truly taken aback by her STUNNING work and would recommend her tenfold over anyone else!

to execution, she was en pointe. She was everything we were told she would be: professional, friendly, and most importantly, she knew how to take a great photo! The chapel where our ceremony took place was dimly lit, and we had a very limited amount of time allowed on site. Stacy had to rely on her instincts to capture us in our best light, and she succeeded wonderfully. Stacy had a good eye in finding the best shots, allowing us to create some beautiful moments.
