Stacy Marks provides a treasure of memories of your wedding day. As the Mother of the Bride I gave him a two page list of photos I wanted. He went way beyond my desires and provided so many wonderful shots from getting ready to the final second line of the evening. If you want the best, hire Stacy. He doesn’t need a list. He knows his craft and will present you with gorgeous magazine-type photos in a short amount of time. It’s two weeks since the wedding and already we have been able to view and share his photos. They are beyond amazing! One of the things I like about Stacy is his prices are displayed on his website so you can decide if you want a certain package. Who would shop for anything without considering the price? He is worth every single penny and I would not hesitate to hire him if I were a browsing bride. From the Bridal portraits (gorgeous!) to that final shot, he went above and beyond to make our daughter’s wedding photos a treasure.

Stacy is hands down the best photog in New Orleans. He's a quick shot, yet he still manages to capture the essence of You. Not only is he an amazing photographer, he's also an exceptional director! Not sure how to pose? What to do with your hands? He's got you. You will be amazed at the outcome. And I mean amazed. Look no further, Stacy will also be "the one" for you.

There are not enough words to express how amazing Stacy is. From the moment I booked until AFTER the wedding he was spot on. I was a COVID Bride (original date 3/28/20) and had to reschedule to September 2020. I called Stacy less than 2 weeks before I was supposed to originally get married to let him know the change of plans. As you can imagine, I was in full panic mode and Stacy assured me everything would be perfect. He gave me the dates he was available and we went from there! I mean a total BREEZE. This was something that none of us have been through before or were expecting and he went above and beyond. He was always there to answer my phone calls & texts whenever I had any questions! He captured every single moment from our wedding. There are so many pictures I don’t know how I’m ever going to choose. You can tell Stacy really loves what he does & his work shows just that!

We talked and met with a few wedding photographers, but when we met with Stacy and saw his work, we immediately knew that we want him to capture our big day. Actually, Stacy captured all of our best moments since our engagement - he took our engagement photos, my bridal photos and our wedding photos. All photos were awesome! He was absolutely amazing - so easy to work with! Stacy was perfect on our wedding day - he organized my bridal party for the getting ready pictures so well! He took pictures of every single detail. He took great pictures of the ceremony and a lot of candid photos of us and our guests during the reception. Before we left the hotel to head up to the reception, I decided that I want a few extra photos and Stacy went out of his way to unpack his camera and take more photos. Also, he got our pictures back incredibly quickly! I heard stories that some brides are waiting two- three months for photos. Well, we had ours within three days. And all pictures were absolutely beautiful!! We couldn’t have been happier with our choice!

Absolutely amazing!!!! I can’t stress enough of how amazing Stacy is. He listens to everything you like, don’t like, want, don’t want. He captures the littlest detail and makes the most beautiful picture with it. I am so glad I did my research and picked him. His work is fabulous and you won’t be sorry you picked him! Promise!

So happy we went with Stacy! He was incredibly professional and made the entire process easy! He did such a great job organizing and posing the bridal party during formal photos that we had almost an entire hour extra after to relax and socialize. He got our pictures back to us very fast and they’re all so amazing we’re having a hard time picking favorites! He also wears a suit to the wedding, which was a touch that we loved. Not only does he produce high-quality images of intimate moments, but he is also incredibly warm and easy to work with. He fit right into our big day, but was still unobtrusive, and because of that, managed to capture many delightful candid shots. Stacy's pictures are the best I have ever seen very high end he has a skill on how to pose people for shots . Most wedding phographers we looked at all had the same style and all the same looking shots .With Stacy we got a up to date modern Hollywood looking style that I have not seen from anyone else . Most important we hired Stacy and got Stacy 3 out of the 4 other photographers we spoke to were booked but had other shooters that represented the company We did not feel comfortable getting second shooters. Stacy Marks is talented and meticulous with his high quality images! His work originally caught my eye with a childhood friend's wedding album, and I was instantly hooked onto his skills. Then, I met him at a bridal show and his personality was a huge plus. Not all photographers are sweet, caring, and as professional as Stacy. This is so important to consider! He really cares about his work and the brides he works with. His passion for photography shines through each vibrant photo he takes. Words cannot do it justice; you will just have to check out his work yourself. Can I add that he is super quick to respond and have your photos ready? This is a huge plus! I simply cannot say enough about Stacy and his brilliant work! I did both bridal portraits and the day of photographs. I just received the pictures from the wedding this weekend and there are so many gorgeous photos I don't know how I will ever choose! Even my bridal portraits had countless gems! Stacy is amazing. He was so personal and comfortable to work with. The pictures he takes are so pretty and different. I was so impressed with how fast he was at taking pictures. I was able to have more time with my family at the reception. Stacy is also very fast at getting your pictures back to you.

Stacy was great to work with on the day of our wedding.I was upset that his second photographer is in a ton of our church photos disrupting the shots. He did not use a wide lens often during the day, so our second line photos are limited and the shots he took were VERY repetitive. Also, if you do order a book of your photos be sure to check your list against the photos he put in the frame. We had to go several rounds of edits because he didn't pay attention to the photos I selected.

Traveling from NY with an impromptu engagement session Stacy made the experience so wonderful! He was quick to reply, personable and made us feel so comfortable. He knew exactly what we wanted and made it happen . We couldn't have chosen a better photographer for this experience.

Stacy is a staple in New Orleans. He was so wonderful to work with. He made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun with him. For being as popular as he is, he is still extremely down to earth and easy going. He handled the engagement shoot and wedding day. His wife, Ashley did the video portion and was so kind as well. Stacy knows what he is doing and knows what looks good. His prices are extremely reasonable for being such a popular photographer. I highly recommend him!

We heard about Stacy Marks through one of my bridesmaids and checked out his website. Immediately, we could tell the photography style was exactly what we were looking for. We met with Stacy at his home, and I was put at ease by his easy-going personality which I knew would be important for getting good shots of us and the wedding. He took the time to answer all of my questions that day and until after my wedding. I scheduled a bridal session with Stacy and was so nervous but he was amazing and fast. I didn't think he took many pictures but when I got the pictures back 4 days later Yes 4 days I was amazed. The day of the wedding they were both punctual, professional, sweet and kind. Pictures came out wonderfully... both engagements and wedding day! During the ceremony, we barely even knew he was around. Great shots and great video!

Stacy is the best photographer you could have the honor of booking! I was an out of town bride so I was a little nervous with booking him without meeting him, however it was the best decision I could have ever made. A few days before our wedding we had a run through with the venue and they asked who our photographer was. When we told them it was Stacy Marks, everyone said, "We love Stacy! We always get excited when a bride books him. You will love your pictures!" They were completely right! Not only is he an amazingly talented photographer, but he goes above and beyond the call of duty. After taking some getting ready shots, he not only drove some of my bridesmaids and me to the venue, he also put in my veil and fixed some loose strands in my hair. The pictures he took turned out absolutely stunning. Our wedding was supposed to be outside, but due to the rain it didn't happen. Stacy pulled us outside in the middle of the reception to get a shot under an old, lit up oak tree while there was a break in the rain. This turned out to be one of the best pictures from the whole night, and after he shot it the rain started coming down again. We can't thank Stacy enough for providing us with such beautiful photos. He really captured all the love and magic of the night. My husband and I are blown away with the moments Stacy captured and the quality of his work. He honestly should be charging more because he really is worth it!

Stacy did my bridal pics only because he was already booked the day of my wedding. Stacy is fun to work with. I absolutely love all of my pics and so did everyone else. I would recommend Stacy!

By far the best decision I made with regard to my wedding, the single event that I dreamed about my entire life, (second to picking my groom, of course), was hiring Stacy Marks with Stacy Marks Photography and his beautiful wife, Ashley Ann Rene with Videography!!!! One spends months, or even a year, agonizing over every detail-dress, shoes, venue, food, flowers, etc. in order to make their dream wedding; however, looking back, all of those details and the BIG DAY becomes such a blur- taking away memories, yes, but mainly remembering only the emotions felt. Stacy took so many pictures and was able to meet all of our requests for formal pictures!

Stacy was amazing and his pictures are beautiful! We walked through the French quarter to take my bridal pictures and he was so patient with me and my mom. (My mom was kinda freaking out because my dress was getting dirty!) The day of the wedding he arrived on time and was able to get pictures of me and my girls getting ready plus head to the church and get pictures of the groomsmen before the ceremony. I got the proofs back really quick, like three weeks after the wedding, plus he threw in an extra proof CD at no cost for my mom. His attention to detail is wonderful. He had so many pictures of not only us but of our guest too. The best part is he took all these pictures without ever really being seen, he just let us enjoy our night and took candid shots and they came out amazing!

Pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I almost hired a much cheaper, newer photographer and I am very happy that I didn't. The only reason I gave him 4 out of 5 stars is because every time I spoke to him it was like he was meeting me for the first time. I had to remind him often of the special he gave me at the bridal show which is not offered on his website. Once he was reminded, he was very accommodating. He never retracted the offer. I'm sure he has a lot of clients and it's hard to remember everything so you can't really blame him too much for forgetting some things. He is also very quick doing the shoots. The engagement and pre-bridal session was done in under 30 minutes which is a plus. So, I'd definitely hire him again.

Stact is a very talented photographer.. Quickly gets the family photos out of the way do that he can focus on capturing photos of people things you may not see at the ceremony and reception.

We met with Stacy after a bad experience with another photographer who was highly recommended . Stacy is professional, personable, easy-going and does excellent work. He is very easy to get in touch with. My fiancée and I liked him right away. We look forward to working with Stacy on our wedding day.

Stacy worked with us for our engagement, bridal sessions and also the wedding. The shooting was fun and the pictures were just lovely.

Stacy photographed my wedding last month in February. I was waiting on my wedding dress to be altered and couldn't take my formals until a few days before the wedding. He was very accommodating and made sure I had my formal picture developed for my big day. He does a nice balance between posed pictures and natural shots. His posed pictures are beatiful and the natural shots will make you laugh and cry (tears of happiness) as you relive your wedding day.

After researching many wedding photographers, I KNEW I wanted to work with Stacy Marks. He's so creative, very responsive, and he has an undeniable talent for photography & photo journalism. He's also really easy to work with. I am soo pleased with my bridal portraits & wedding pictures. I am STILL getting compliments (since my November wedding) on the bridal portrait we displayed at the reception. I haven't ordered my wedding album yet, but I CANNOT WAIT to see how it comes out. From the engagement session, to the bridal portrait and finally the wedding, Stacy was professional, artistic, and did an awesome job. My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and I am very satisfied with the job Stacy did. He is extremely efficient and gets the pictures done with minimal interuptions. Stacy is great. His vision and eye for photography is so unique. His work has a new Orleans flare that can not be beat. He was very timely.

For me, the deciding factor was Stacy's phenomenal album designs. He doesn't just put your photos on individual pages with a white background and call it done. He integrates photos together and creates a storybook of your day. As for the photos themselves, he has a nice mix of candid photos, group poses, and editorial detail shots. However, the one complaint I have is that I wanted to spend time discussing a plan for the wedding day and Stacy felt that I was stressing too much and over-planning. We never really planned a timeline together, and if we had some of the day's hiccups (e.g. not enough time for pre-ceremony formal photos, group shots that were overlooked) could have been avoided. However, to be fair, he's been very responsive and accommodating for the most important part of the process, which is creating the album. So, overall we ended up with many wonderful, even amazing photos, and I would hire him again and highly recommend him to other brides. I know that I'm going to look back at my beautiful album and love it without remembering the handful of shots that he didn't get.

Stacy was an amazing person to work with for both my engagement pictures as well as the day of my wedding. The only thing I did not like about him is that he does not print any of the pictures out for you. He gives you a CD of all of your pictures and you have to find somewhere to print them.

I used Stacy for my November 2008 wedding. He was responsive to calls and requests. He showed up on time and was not intrusive on the day of the wedding. When I got my wedding album I knew he was worth every penny. His flush mount album is amazing!

Stacy Marks does very nice work. I was a photography major; thus, I was very picky about who I wanted. I reviewd over 10 photographers, including interviews. The photographer I originally wanted was not available, but I wa more than happy with the pictures I received. His prices are good as well. I have heard mixed reviews from other people. One thing to watch out for is the attitude. He is a great photographer, but he "knows it." There were a few moments at the reception when something great, funny, or important was happening and my photographers (yes, I had 2) were nowhere to be seen. This upset me. Then when a friend asked why are you not taking pictures right now, he responded with "I already have over 1000." This infuriated me because we were only 1.5 hours into the 5 hour reception!!! My thought is, I do not care if you take 5000 pictures, this is MY wedding and I am paying you for a service...you should be snapping pictures left and right. I think if you were to mention this as a potential problem, he would be understanding about it. But again, overall he knows what he's doing and the pictures he takes and the moments he captures look great!
