We had our 80 person wedding at Stage Left Steak this past week. The food, atmosphere and staff were phenomenal. Julie, the manager was not only able to accommodate all of my guest needs she was extremely easy to work with. My guests were comfortable in the space and everyone has been raving about the food. I could not thank them enough. We will be back!

We had our daughter's engagement dinner in the wine cellar at Stage Left which was absolutely amazing! Julie and her team did an over the top job with outstanding service, accompanied by high quality food offerings that we enjoyed. Her staff seemlessly handled the challenges that this COVID enviroment brings; following all safety protocols which resulted in a very relaxing evening. We can't wait to go back!

Stage Left Steak is a wine and steak house in New Brunswick, NJ, that can host wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, and other prenuptial events. Their blend of contemporary art and rustic aesthetic make for a relaxing, visually rich evening. You will be free to enjoy their mouthwatering menu, attentive staff, and extensive wine list as you share life-changing moments with your loved ones. Established in 1992, Stage Left Steak creates seasonal, greenmarket-driven cuisines that are made from locally-sourced ingredients. With their combination of private rooms, engaged duos can host events with up to 130 guests. For small, intimate events, the Wine Cellar features a long banquet table under a vintage chandelier giving off a warm glow. You and up to 20 of your loved ones will be surrounded by dark wood shelves filled with wine selections, for a sophisticated ambience. Located on the main level is the Cloud Room, which can host up to 28 people next to breathtaking cloud details on the wall. Next door is the Gallery Room, for soon-to-be-weds that want their prenuptial celebration in a colorful setting. This event space hosts work of art, which rotates to host featured artists. Its electric blue carpeting and reclaimed barn wood walls make for an eclectic, unforgettable evening. Both the Cloud Room and Gallery Room can be combined, to seat up to 75 guests inside. Audio and visual equipment are available in each private space, for any heartfelt presentations during your wedding shower or bachelor and bachelorette parties. Chairs, tables, and various pieces of decor will be available for you, and can be arranged into any formation you prefer. Stage Left Steak can customize your menu to best suit your favorite tastes. They can offer you an array of cuisines, ranging from lobster tempura appetizers to filet mignon entrees. You will also have a selection of desserts to choose from to satisfy your sweet tooth throughout the night. Servers will be present, ready to care for you and your guests’ culinary needs.

I always loved Cafe Lombardi which is part of Stage Left. While planning my last minute covid wedding I decide to reach out to the restaurant. I called and spoke with the event...

s manager, Julie. What a doll! She took care of everything! Since the event was off site, Julie asked if she could see the room and was there the next day. We planned a menu with hot and cold food for 12 people in 15 minutes. I had the contract the next day. We hired Jane to help serve and she was awesome, professional and hard working! The food was amazing and so beautifully presented. Everything was there on time and was perfect. If you need a good caterer please give them a call you will not be disappointed. They can accommodate all your needs and there are lots of options. Lets keep these small businesses alive !!

ng in June, rented out the entire restaurant. It was the perfect June night so we were able to utilize the indoor and outdoor space which our guests loved. The staff made everything so easy and assisted us with planning and decorating and were super responsive to all of our needs. We even had our rehearsal dinner in the wine room at Stage Left with their sister restaurant Catherine Lombardi’s menu. I can’t say enough about the experience, it was the best day ever. We will certainly host other events at Stage Left. I went to Rutgers and love New Brunswick so it made it even more special. Stage Left and the staff are the best in the state. P.S. everyone still talks about our wedding til this day, the food, drinks and service are unmatched.
