Stan Mansion has a wide list of vendors they frequently work with, many of whom we used for our wedding, which made coordination easy and seamless leading up to the event. The size made it easy to separate ceremony, cocktail, and reception into different areas so it felt spacious and different for each part of the wedding day. Highly recommend Stan Mansion.

When it came time to start the wedding planning process, we knew that Stan Mansion would be one of our first stops on our list of venues. Turns out, it was the only stop we needed! Cera Stan personally gave us a tour of her beautiful home while citing all of its historical details as well as amenities. It was obvious that she was extremely passionate about hosting events and seeing the beauty that others can create in her space. When meeting other vendors throughout the planning process, all of them had nothing but the kindest things to say about Cera and her love for holding magnificent events. Overall, here are the reasons why we chose Stan Mansion to host our wedding: Bridal Suite - The bridal suite is extremely spacious with a full kitchen. I loved that my bridesmaids and I had a place to get ready on the big day, as well as a wonderful backdrop for photos. As someone who has a bit of anxiety and limited social battery, I really appreciated the security of knowing that there was somewhere I could go to be by myself if I needed a moment alone. Expansive multi-purpose spaces - We chose to hold our ceremony in the main ballroom, cocktail hour in the lower ballroom, and flipped the main ballroom in that time for our reception. While the space has character on its own, it truly can be anything you want it to be. Worth noting that the bar is in a separate space from the main ballroom so you do have to go a very short distance across the hall for a drink. We were a little worried about this being inconvenient but trust me when I say that it did not stop any of our guests. The hallway in between the ballroom and bar is the perfect space for a guestbook too since guests pass it so frequently. Vendor Recommendations - Cera sat down with us and went through all her recommended vendors one by one. She was very genuine in discussing what some vendors are/are not good at. We ended up choosing our caterer, lighting/drapery, florist, beauty team, and bridal shop from her recommendations and we truly could not be happier. The benefit of working with Sarah’s recommended vendors is that they know the space front and back. Many already had custom proposals for Stan Mansion and saved me from having to walk them through the entire space myself. Our wedding was a BLAST and nothing - literally nothing - went wrong. Even when I almost lit my dress on fire, one of the day-of coordinators jumped into action before I even knew my dress was caught over an open flame. I owe so much of our success to Cera and her team for their level of care, knowledge, and guidance. Thank you so much for being a major part of the best day of our lives!

Not only is the venue gorgeous, the staff here is something special. Aleya was our day of coordinator which is not even fair title. Aleya brought our vision to life and coordinated everything in order for my husband and I to have a relaxing and memorable day. This includes the downstairs ballroom which we used for our rehearsal and cocktail hour, the spacious multi-room bridal suite upstairs for the entire wedding party to get ready and relax, and the stunning grand ballroom and bar for our ceremony and reception. Having the entire space to ourselves created a safe and comfortable environment for our wedding party and guests to truly enjoy and celebrate. . We got married slightly in the off-season and pricing was fair and more competitive than other venues we were eyeing. There is so much possibility at the Stan Mansion between the Grand Ballroom, the Versailles Bar, and the downstairs ballroom, and Cera and team are so flexible in helping you arrange and organize your event in whatever way works best for you and your guests. The bridal suite is a great bonus - a fully furnished 2 bed 2 bath apartment where you can get ready comfortably in the morning just a few steps away. We are deeply grateful to Cera, Aleya, and the rest of the staff at Stan Mansion for all their help along the way, and for making this a truly special, memorable day. Aleya spent so much time with us talking through decorations, schedule, and other planning details and everything went off so smoothly. We could not have done it without you all!

To fully accentuate the charm of the venue, I did feel like some "extras" were required like draping of the spaces however SM provided a list of vendors that we could use if desired and many had promotional discounts as well. Overall, the space was STUNNING and I'm so happy we booked with them for our wedding day!

There is a reason Stan Mansion has so many awards, Cera knows everything about weddings and is always willing to share what she knows to her brides and grooms! Our day of coordinator, Aleya, was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, organized, and creative - even making sure things happened that I forgot I wanted! She kept us at ease throughout the whole process, making sure everything was perfectly in place. Her and Reagan made sure our wedding was decorated perfectly (all I did was drop off a bunch of random decor and they made it stunning) and all little things were accounted for. We couldn’t have had such an amazing wedding without the help of Stan Mansion’s extraordinary staff!

The bar area was so spectacular and perfect for cocktail hour - so many guests love taking photos in front of the gorgeous fireplace. he Stan had the nicest staff around! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and super spacious for ~150 guest, we had a band on stage and literally danced all night! Everyone was so in love with the venue, especially the giant bridal suite. It made getting ready so easy, we arrived at 9am and left at midnight and loved every second! Logan Square is also such an important neighborhood to us and getting to share that with our guest made everything even better. Can’t wait to be back for a candlelight show so we can remanence 💕

Slight drawback would be the lack of ramps or an inclined surface for guests with ADA needs, but is understandable given the historic nature of the building. Everyone from Cera to Kathy and Aleyah on the day of was easy to work with and flexible regarding a payment date we had to change. In that regard, there are no elevators and that can be a hassle for some guests if they are severely limited in their movement. Cera is always fixing/adding things and making it even better. Between when we booked and when we had our wedding, new chandeliers were installed on dimmer switches in the main ballroom and they looked beautiful. We used the downstairs ballroom for our ceremony and had an outside company do some drapery down there, but Stan has a basic drapery setup installed and it’s not completely necessary if you don’t want to. It was a perfect size for the ceremony. We used the bar on the 2nd floor for happy hour, it is probably our favorite room in the entire venue and the pictures we took there turned out spectacular. The main ballroom is gorgeous with soaring ceilings and a beautiful stage. On-site they have a coat check, bridal suite (spacious and very updated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment), lots of potential decor items, and a wonderful staff. There is a parking lot they can rent for you a couple blocks away, which is hard to find in the city if you’re not at a big hotel. We got married this past December and the exterior of the venue was decorated beautifully with holiday touches. The decor looked AMAZING in all of our pictures! And it’s all situated on a beautiful boulevard in Logan, it doesn’t get more picture-perfect than the Stan Mansion. Cera (owner) and Kathy (day-of coordinator) were both excellent and always on top of everything. A few very minor things went wrong the day of, and between the two of them they were immediately remedied. Cera clearly loves her property dearly, she’s the perfect person to own a beautiful vintage event space. Kathy was always good about getting back to us in a timely manner and helped organize the day flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, I was expecting to have to help make sure a lot of different things happened, but Kathy was constantly on top of it and any time I tried to ensure a task was completed, she had already done it. I was extremely nervous on our wedding day for things to run smoothly and with Kathy taking care of things that anxiety went away and I was able to focus on enjoying our day to the fullest. Kathy took care of every small detail, including making sure my dress looked picture perfect for my walk down the aisle. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator to keep everything running smoothly. Our wedding day was beautiful in large part because of the Stan Mansion and their staff. We really appreciate all of the work that went into making the day go off without a hitch :)

We wanted a venue that was unique and would leave our guests speechless, and we got everything we wanted at Stan Mansion. We really enjoyed that we could bring in all of our own vendors! We ended up choosing vendors that they recommended, which we loved, since all of our vendors knew the venue so well, everything ran smoothly. We also loved the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves and weren't sharing it with another reception. Cera was great to work with and we loved that she came over to celebrate with us! They all seemed very similar and forgettable. Stan Mansion was anything but. The location, curb appeal, and Gatsby-esque aesthetic are all extremely unique and exactly what we were looking for. After the booking, the team at Stan Mansion was extremely approachable, professional, and responsive - even when the pandemic delayed our event by over a year. The team at Stan helped us reschedule the event, helped coordinate with our vendors, and made sure we did not feel forgotten about. Oh - and they recommended us Ovy Catering, who did an incredible job. Between the unique aesthetics of the venue, professionalism, and wedding industry connections, we cannot recommend Stan Mansion more for your event. They helped navigate the changing schedules with vendors and the process was pretty simple considering things! Highly recommend, and the price is RIGHT in comparison to many venues in Chicago.

None of them quite jumped out as us as the one we envisioned, and we almost gave up on the idea that any venue would live up to the vision we had; that is, until we went to Stan Mansion. Located in Logan Square, this venue is tucked away and is unassuming at first. You can walk past it and will never imagine it is a venue. However, right as you enter the main doors of the mansion, you are welcomed into a gorgeous, sophisticated, and beautiful space. We got a chance to tour the entire mansion, and each room, from the main ballroom to the bridal sweet to the bar area, was like something straight out of our imagination. We knew we absolutely needed to go with this location as our wedding venue just for the sheer elegance and vibrance of the place, but on top of that, we were provided great wisdom by the lovely Cera Stan along with the in-house wedding coordinator, Kathy, we included. Both of them did a absolutely fantastic job guiding us throughout the process, and also offered excellent recommendations for other vendors, a few of which we ended up going with and were not disappointed by either! The day of the event, because of the ample space of the ballroom and downstairs floor where we had cocktail hour, all of our guests were able to spread out if they wanted to, or get together with other friends and family they hadn't seen in a while. The table layout worked perfectly for our guest count, as it did not have the feeling of being crowded, and this is including areas for a photo booth, churro bar, and designated dance floor! Needless to say, the place can host even larger events with more people if needed. Overall, we fell in love with the venue and people at Stan Mansion right from the beginning, and we would not hesitate in the least to recommend this place to anyone that has the budget for it (even if you need to squeeze out some extra cash to do it, it's worth it).

th Cera Stan. The location is superb, parking is easy, and it is close to some of the most reliable public transportation in the city. The grand ballroom is large and unique and the whole mansion has more than one large gathering space. There are restrooms on every floor and there's a gorgeous view of trees from bar. Delightful historical details abound and dimmable chandeliers and sconces and other special light features enhance the magic of the space. The acoustic is phenomenal for live music. This space works well for any size crowd. Cera Stan is generous, engaged, delightful, communicative, and creative. Thank you, Stan Mansion, and thank you, Cera, for a fabulous experience!!

We highly recommend adding the day-of planner if you choose Stan Mansion as your venue. Kathy provided way more than just “day-of” support! She coordinated with all of our vendors for months leading up to our wedding day and we didn’t have to think about a single detail on the day. The bridal suite is also worth every penny to add on to your day. We had hair and makeup for 11 done in the bridal suite, which provided a great place for photos and a relaxed day getting ready. It was also a great place during our reception for kids to escape with the babysitter when they needed a break from the party. This place is fantastic!

Our guests and friends online have nothing but 'ooohs' and 'aaahs' to say about the gorgeous, dazzling MAGNIFICENCE that IS the STAN MANSION! Beyond the sheer, stunning beauty of this historic venue, I owe all of my thanks and high praise to the LEGENDARY Cera Stan and her team, who *literally* rolled out the red carpet for us. My husband and I had just signed our agreement - then COVID hit. What was supposed to be our planning for a 175 person wedding was out the window, and I had a MILLION questions as I scrambled to make sense of the situation (like everyone else). Cera, Kathy, and the team were extremely patient with me, answered all of my questions with a kind professionalism, and really helped us think through our best options. We ultimately postponed our date and they did not 'penalize' us in any way like some other venues/vendors do, which was SO appreciated. When it was safe to do so, we hosted our wedding with 50 guests (with a livestream), and it was absolutely beautiful. We even recieved some money back to account the lower difference in headcount which was EXTRA appreciated! THAT is customer serivce of the highest caliber. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the Stan Mansion. I used the preferred vendors and they were all fabulous. The bridal suite was amazing and made my day so awesome to be able to have all of my bridesmaids there getting ready. All of the various rooms made for great photo backdrops for variation in my bridal photos. Kathy was excellent in helping with day-of coordination, and I am extremely glad I went with her (originally I thought I could do it all myself - LOL!!) I am sad to even end this review because that means my experience at the Stan Mansion is officially over. But, just as I started, I am forever grateful to the *legendary* Cera Stan, her amazing team, and the venue that was there for me on the most important day of my life. Thank you!
