Everything is immaculate at Standing Rock! They have truly thought of everything to make any event a lifelong memory.

We were so excited to have our wedding at this venue—it was actually the only one we toured because it felt so perfect from the start. The location is undeniably beautiful, and the cabins themselves are charming. However, our experience with the staff and overall management left a lot to be desired. After booking and submitting our payment, the communication shifted. We were met with cold, dismissive, and at times rude responses. While we appreciated being allowed to set up the day before our Friday wedding, we were surprised and frustrated to find that tours were being conducted all day during our setup and even during our rehearsal. It felt like they were using our decor and planning efforts to show off the space, and it created unnecessary chaos and interruptions. To make matters worse, there was active construction and tractors operating around the rehearsal area around 4:30 PM, making it difficult to focus or feel like we had the space to ourselves. On the day of the wedding, staff were still doing outdoor cleanup while we were trying to finish setting up—leaf blowers and weed whackers going off around us, knocking over signs without so much as an apology. I even had to text the wedding coordinator to insure the tractors and clean up was going to be done by the time of the wedding. It was added stress to the day I didn’t want. It felt like we were constantly being watched, with cameras all over and staff always hovering, which made it hard to relax or enjoy the moment. I wasn’t even given the contact information for the wedding coordinator until I asked for it myself, and unfortunately, her involvement was minimal and not particularly helpful. To top it off, we had a significant bee issue right before the ceremony, with bees even making their way inside the venue. They did come and spray them, thankfully. While the Barrel Room is beautiful, it’s worth noting that the tables were somewhat annoying to move if you’re aiming for a custom setup—and at the end of the night, you’re responsible for moving everything back yourself. Also, although there are garage doors in the room, they don’t allow you to open them. The cabins were cozy, but we questioned the cleanliness of the hot tub water. The check-in and check-out times (3:00 PM and 10:00 AM) are tight, especially for the price. It would have been nice to have some flexibility there. Overall, the venue itself is stunning, but the experience was overshadowed by poor customer service, lack of privacy, and a feeling of being judged and monitored throughout the weekend. We expected a more supportive and respectful atmosphere for such a special occasion.

I stumbled upon Standing Rock by browsing a list of preferred VENUES (backwards, I know), and it ended up being the best decision ever! From the minute i sent an inquiry, the owner, Chelsea, personally took time out of her day to give me a run down of the venue and options, etc., and scheduled a tour. After our tour, my now-husband told me to book it because the look on my face and glimmer in my eyes said it all. Every single aspect of Standing Rock is thoughtfully curated and makes you feel like you are in a magical place - and the fact it is a farm is even more special. We got amazing photos with the tender adorable highland cows in the back... it really is more than just a venue! The bridal house is what I really was sold on, it is nicer than most houses today haha, but it is so special and has all of the room and amenities you could need even with a big bridal party - we had 24! The lodging options are also a big part of why I fell in love with this place to, and even those are so perfectly decorated as well - all tying in with everything else. My photographer and videographers were raving as well. I could go on about this place- i cannot recommend Standing Rock Farms enough, the team is perfect and super responsive and on top of everythin; it is my favorite place on earth and I cannot wait to go back.

Standing Rock Farms made my dream wedding come true!!! The barrel room is an outstanding venue, from the layout and lighting to the decor!! Everything was perfect!! The outside ceremony space was perfect with the fall colors!!

The place is absolutely beautiful even without the decor being in there. The chandeliers were my favorite. Also if you love fall season its the best venue to do it at in my opinion. My husband and I fell in love with the place and our wedding turned out amazing ! Wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else.

Standing Rock was absolutely beautiful! Everything went so smoothly at this venue and people couldn't stop talking about the scenery on both the inside and outside! I highly recommend!

This venue is like nothing else in the Northeast Ohio area. The grounds and facilities are absolutely stunning. The communication from the venue's staff is amazing. I would highly recommend!

We had our wedding on 9/7 at the barrel room and it was absolutely beautiful!! Communication with Chelsea was always great, and the day of coordinator was super nice and helpful! We weren’t able to have an outdoor ceremony due to the rain and the inside alternative was perfect! The bridal cabin and grooms quarters were the perfect place for us all to get ready! I highly recommend this venue!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Our wedding day was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and nice , provided excellent customer service and made sure that we had everything we needed for our day to run according to plan. The venue is beautiful with both outdoor and indoor options and gorgeous photo ops. Thank you again Chelsea and Anthony.

Standing Rock made everything very easy on my special day. Mike and Chelsea have a stunning location for any event and they are easy to work with! SO many places to get the Perfect Picture, they even have baby farm animals. 10/10 i would recommend to anyone

We were lucky enough to host our wedding at standing rock on 9.9.23 and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The staff was extremely responsive to the multitude of questions we asked from recommendations on which building we should use to the logistical questions we had from our caterers. They have tons of recommendations for rehearsal dinner locations, caterers and bartenders. It really made the planning a breeze. The location itself is GORGEOUS. The Carriage House is beautiful. Tons of stations for everyone to comfortably get ready and an alternative entrance for the men so I didn’t have to worry about my groom seeing me before it was time. The full kitchen and seating area made it so we weren’t on top of each other the entire day. The ceremony hall is just a few steps away from the Carriage hall so when it was time my dad and I hid by the front door and walked out once he made it down the aisle without any risk. Ceiling to floor windows, benches made from wood around the property, it was truly a stunning building. We hosted our reception in the Flower Farm, which is just seps away from the reception hall. I’ve been to weddings where you have to drive twenty minutes to the next location and it takes away from the evening- we didn’t have to worry about that here. Everyone went directly into party mode allowing us to sneak away for all of our photos. The location is a photographers dream. There are hundreds of different spots you can choose from. Make sure when you go to visit the property you pick out your favorites for the day of otherwise you’ll be overwhelmed with all of the options. The Flower Farm is perfect for large groups and to distract all of them while you’re getting photos taken. From the grow room to the drying station there are tons of things for your guests to see while they are waiting on you. There is a full service bar that can be accessed from inside and outside, a food room that is easily accessible for your caterer and perfect areas for dessert tables, charcuterie boards, guest books, etc. Truly the entire property is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married.
