Located in one of the most stunning natural environments in Northwest Montana, Star Meadows Ranch is a wedding destination in the purest sense. 360 acres of mountain, meadow, and stunning headwater creeks provide almost limitless opportunities for breathtaking ceremonies, intimate brunches, and festive receptions. SMR weddings are designed to avoid the stress associated with metropolitan venues and destination wedding arrangements in tourist hubs. While only 30 minutes from the resort town of Whitefish, we offer the best of both worlds. SMR has 4 custom cabins that can sleep 55 people, 3 a frame homes that can sleep 18, and 4 glamping tents that can sleep 12 for a total of 85 people in overnight accommodations. The highlight of the venue is the pavilion, featuring 6000 sq ft, large kitchen with commercial grade appliances, in-ceiling speakers, lighting, chandeliers, fans, stone stacked fireplace and more! Original structures, such as the old homestead cabin, set against the meadow and Big Sky grandeur serve as a vivid contrast to the refinement of your event and ensure awe-inspiring photography.

While I did not orginally want a wedding, my husband did. Because i love him, i wanted to make sure that his vision for the location of our wedding was perfect. Star Meadows Ranch was just that, perfect. It had plenty of space for our families and the cabins were gorgeous. We even stargazed on the deck the night of our wedding after everything had settled down. Sam was amazing to work with as well! Well worth the money all around! :)

Today is the 1 year anniversary of my DREAM wedding/reception/vacation at Star Meadows Ranch! I will forever be grateful for Samantha and Tristan's care, support, flexibility, generosity, thoughtfulness, and new-found friendship. Not only are they as people a rarity, but their ranch is an absolute GEM! If you are looking for a genuine Montana experience with incredible views and privacy for you and your loved ones, with BEAUTIFULLY constructed, spacious, luxurious lodges.... BOOK WITH THEM NOW! As I write this, I realize it sounds too good to be true, but isn't that what everyone wants for their wedding?! An experience that seems like a dream! You could spend a full week just taking wedding photos with the amazing overlooks and forestry right outside of the lodges! They are super prepared for all types of weather and they offer any and all recreation activities! (Tally Lake is under 10 miles away, hundreds of acres to hike and explore, kayaking, and a full game room located in one of the lodges with pool, ping pong, darts, foosball, air hockey, poker table, you name it!) Plus they are located 30 minutes from downtown Whitefish! My husband and I rented all 4 lodges and comfortably hosted 50 of our closest friends and family for a week! We are already planning future anniversaries, family gatherings, and retreats with our friends at Star Meadows Ranch. Thank you so much Sam and Tristan!!!
