Heather and Roxanne made sure my dress fit exactly how it should up until the week before the wedding. They were always willing to listen on how I thought my dress should be altered. I wish I could wear my dress all the time. I felt absolutely beautiful in my dress. StarDust also helped my Mom find the best Mother of the Bride dress. Kathy worked with my Mom to help find the dress that complimented her shape and help her feel comfortable in the dress. My Mom looked stunning in her dress.

a 20 to try on. Kathy knew that I was a plus size bride before coming in as I emailed her and she responded and during the appointment mentioned my email that spoke of my size. Yet she still acted shocked when I wasn’t a size 2. She started off with comments toward me and my party that the stairs might be a lot so we could take the elevator. I have weight Kathy but I’m not completely immobile. If I needed an elevator I would ask. I told Kathy what I wanted and Kathy decided because I wasn’t a size 2 that I would not like the things I wanted. I had previously tried on dresses at other stores so I knew what I liked and didn't. It is certainly not her place to tell me what I will or wont like. I went to this store to see a Hayley Paige dress as they are one of the few stores that carried it. I LOVED this dress and one other but I couldn’t imagine giving Kathy my money after she insulted me the way that she did. She mentioned several times that “girls like me” can’t wear strapless or need straps to cover up. She was insistent on putting me in an A line after I told her I tried some on and the style wasn’t what I wanted. When I said something about not liking it and my party agreed she was obviously offended. She acted as though myself and my party were inconveniencing her anytime we asked a question. Had my bridal consultant been different I very easily could have bought a dress here. Due to Kathy and her condescending attitude, I took my money somewhere else and got a strapless fitted dress just like I told Kathy I wanted. If you are bigger than a bridal size 10, I wouldn’t waste your time here. Kathy made it clear that 10 was the largest size she was comfortable with. She did this by bringing in dresses that I had requested and if they were a size 10 or under she would just say the number. If they were bigger than that she would say it’s a one two (or better known as a twelve). This happened with every single dress above a 10. Shockingly enough when you aren’t a size 2 you are well aware of the number you are and should not be shamed by a bridal consultant who is supposed to be there to help you. At one point Kathy told me she had been doing this for 15 years then made a joke (maybe not a joke) that she was “on probation”…. Well Kathy I think making people’s bridal experiences this awful should put you on probation.

er Eve of Milady! My assistant, Marianne, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in choosing my dress. As a bride with a large bust, I was very worried about buying a strapless dress, but Marianne and the alterations team ensured my dress fit perfectly before my big day! I cannot say enough good things about Stardust!

t all. I chose this shop because of a specific designer I had thought I liked. Our bridal sales rep was Maryann and she was incredible!! She listened to what I wanted, went out of her way to chat with her boss about my specific timing situation, then pointed me in the direction of another designer she thought would work well for me. I am so thrilled she did! She knows her stuff! She had me try on that dress first, then all of the others from the designer I had thought I liked. Nothing else compared to that first one. She even pointed out all of the reasons why that was the dress for me with how it accentuated my frame, etc etc. It was obvious to all of us she was right about everything she said. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

perfect dress for me on our first visit! Kathy was incredible answering all of my questions, ensuring I was comfortable and happy with my choice. When it came time to do alterations, Kathy even came down to check on me! Roxanne is a master of her craft. She leads the alterations team at Stardust and she can work miracles. No matter what comes, no matter the timeframe, Roxanne can make it happen. She made my dress PERFECT for me. She helped me feel confident and beautiful in the dress I chose and was able to alter it to my body perfectly. I hugged her, a lot. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience!

y felt the same way. It wasn't a patient, fun vibe, though it did turn into that as the appointment went on. She very polished and well informed. Howver, I did feel like I was buying a car; the sales pitch was very strong. I was told she could give me 10% off my dress that day only. When that didn't work, someone else came, so I assumed it was the manager. They proceeded to put a veil on me, give me a bouquet, have me "walk down the aisle", and even put earrings on me. They served us champagne and was trying to get me literally say yes to the dress. I never did. The dress was beautiful, but it just wasn't for me. On our way home, I realized I left my earrings there. The consultant texted me the next day offering the same deal and telling me about an upcoming sale. She told me she had my earrings. I went there from out of state, so going to pick them up was a five hour drive one way. A few weeks later, I received a card mailed to my home telling me about the dress again. Again, still no attempt to resolve getting my earrings. The events just confirmed for me this was about the sale, not about me. I really could care less about the earrings, as I never asked them to send it either. They were inexpensive and purposely worn in case I lost them trying on dresses. However, a good faith effort wasn't even made to resolve it. It would have given the impression they care about me as a person rather a means to a sell and possible commission.

iversary today, so I'm looking through pictures with my sweet husband to post, and I will just never get over how they handled my dress situation. We went in and did the whole thing - ended up deciding on a pretty customized dress. I lived out of state, so I would fly in for try ons. When I tell you that they ordered every single thing wrong, they ordered every. single. thing. wrong. I originally went in with a flexible budget (still substantial to me of course 3-7,000) and ordered my dress/dress parts, and moved forward in faith. Once everything came in, and it was ALL wrong (I'm talking I ordered a cathedral length train, they ordered no train, a custom tulle VERY full skirt, the one they ordered was barely layered, making it A line, extended sleeves, they forgot, etc. so. much. so much.) So as you would hopefully guess, they re-ordered everything (so they said - we don't believe this obviously, everyone in our world thinks we should have sued, and I believe that's true), but the reordered parts were ALSO on our dime, making this a 10,000 dress. Sounds like it would be beautiful, however this all took up so much time, that the final fitting was the WEEK of the wedding (we literally had to go try on other off the rack dresses to try to find something in case it wasn't ready - but they said it would be!) and then the day of, it didn't fit me. My mom had to cut the sleeves for them to even go over my elbows, and the ENTIRE day, it ended up being an off the shoulder dress, where it was never meant to. The whole thing was the saddest thing in the world, and I will spend the rest of my life trying not to think about this dress, when I think about the wedding. Please, please, please, from the bottom of my heart, do not go to them. We did not experience honor there, we did not experience integrity, and we did not experience truth. They took SO much from me, and I'll never get it back.

calling Stardust. I was able to speak with Roxanne directly and she had me email her photos of my dress while we were on the phone. She quickly saw the issues and assured me she could fix it. When I went in for my first appointment she again reassured me that they could fix my dress to be exactly as I had dreamed. They ultimately un-did the previous alternations and started back from the beginning. The entire process made me feel 10 million times better. Roxanne was extremely patient with me as we worked through the issues and ultimately I ended up with my dream dress completely exceeding all expectations! I am incredibly thankful for Roxanne and her team for all they did for me!!

I did have one experience that was less than wonderful at my first alterations appointment. One of the women that worked there was pushy about suits for the guys and was very rude to my wedding planner who was with me and my mom. Other than that I enjoyed my experience with StarDust and would definitely recommend them!

The quality of the dresses there far surpasses those of other salons, and they have a huge selection! Paik was my consultant and she is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. A Maggie Sottero and Midgely dress was THE ONE! I didn’t expect to choose a mermaid style, but as soon as I put it on, I knew it was my dress! I also didn’t intend to wear a veil, but it completed my look. The alterations team are incredible! I made several alterations and some I didn’t even anticipate. Most of my alterations had to be made by HAND! My dress is absolutely gorgeous and fits me perfectly! Thank you so much, StarDust Celebrations team! You are all amazing!!

hop, StarDust, pinned me in my first fitting. Then the bill came and it was the cost of my dress. The cost of my dress! Both shops swore up and down that they ordered the size I needed. My mom was livid, I took my dress home unpinned, and I defeatedly said I wouldn’t get married. I had nothing to wear and on top of that I felt fat for having so many alterations needed for my dress. I was depressed and looking for a new dress on amazon when someone recommended Nataly. After thirty minutes of pinning, I looked better in my dress than the two hours at StarDust. She almost had me in happy relieved tears that first fitting. I knew my dress would be gorgeous and I was excited again! Nataly fitted the dress, curved my bust, added lace to help with my cleavage, did a bustle, and made my dream dress a reality at the most affordable cost. Bonus, I was told by multiple people that I looked like a Disney Princess at my wedding. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you All Seasons Master Tailor!!

ver, Judith has been discontinued and I was comparing every dress I tried on the Judith. I eventually found Judith's sister, Langdon. I knew immediately that was the dress I would be walking down the aisle in and I never second guessed my decision.

Although what I selected and the custom changes that needed to be made were at the top of my budget, my stylist helped me understand why I would ultimately be happier with the gown after doing so. I had somewhat of a difficult fit, but I feel confident that it will make the look worth it! My overall experience proved that StarDust is home to the true professional bridal consultants. Don't bother shopping anywhere else!

welcoming environment at this salon that one typically expects and we got other salons - champagne, a beautiful 3 mirror pedestal. It's a large salon and doesn't provide an overall personal experience (i.e. when you call you basically call a call center.. I guess? it's weird and have to go through a phone tree). Overall, I was happy to get my dream dress at a great deal, but given the opportunity I would have gladly purchased it from another boutique.

s at LuLu's, I was able to use Stardust Celebrations' wedding planning services. My coordinator was Laura Hendricks and she was AWESOME. She knew everything. Literally. When I had a question, she had an answer, and she kept me on track as far as timelines and what I needed to do when. She was my lifeline because I have a relatively stressful full-time job and I was definitely not a bride who wanted to spend all of her free time wedding planning--not that there's ANYTHING wrong with that! She managed every single timeline, took over all vendor communication, and she was ON IT on wedding day, along with her assistant Jaci. She hand delivered my wedding dress and veil to my hotel suite, and she kept everything running smoothly from hair and makeup to photos to the final dance. 5/5 stars STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Sandra has a kind demeanor and is very Knowledgeable with over 20 yrs of working with clients and gowns she has the eye for what looks great on you. She is honest and patient. The best advice she gave to me was to think about a stranger seeing me enter a church on my wedding day. She asked would the stranger know if I am the bride or a guest attending a wedding. I made my decision after that thought provoking question. Traditional with all the lace, beading and a dress train including a veil. I'm so glad that you both were apart of my experience. I love my gown! I would definitely recommend Stardust Celebrations for their excellent customer service.

0% positive as to what kind of dress I wanted. I ended up finding my dream dress and said YES to the dress. My family and I also enjoyed the overall experience and atmosphere of the store - I could have spent all day staring at the dresses and accessories!

We had another appointment later that day and when nothing compared, we came back that same day and got my dress! Everyone was so friendly, fun, and professional at the same time. Robin, the manager, answered all of our questions. They were so kind and even heated up our Starbucks drinks before we left! Went to a total of 7 places in DFW and this place was amazing!

was daunting to say the least. Stardust and Marianne (my bridal stylist) did an amazing job in helping me find my gown in a surprisingly short time. I went into this appointment after going to a smaller boutique and being disappointed in their selection. I knew that Stardust would have a large selection of gowns going into my appointment but I didn't realize how important it was to have someone really there to help you along the way and learn your style. At the other boutique I went to, it was like a mall shopping experience: you go in, pick stuff out, try it on, and think it was just an okay experience. At Stardust, they really get to know you and your style just like they do on Say Yes to the Dress. I will admit, when I watched Say Yes to the Dress, I thought that all the consulting that they did on the show was just for that reason alone, it was a show. Boy, was I wrong. Marianne started off my appointment in a similar fashion, getting to know me and really trying to understand who I am as a person, who I'm marrying, and what type of style that I envision myself on my wedding day. By doing this, she was able to pull the dresses that I was considering and pulled me a dresses I wasn't considering at all and help me realize that these newer styles that I didn't even recognize were really my gown. Also, another great thing about Marianne is that she did not sugar coat the experience at all. She was brutal and honest about everything, two traits that I really appreciate compared to other boutiques that just give you a yes man to you to get your money. I had my Say Yes to the Dress moment here and I absolutely love the experience and would highly recommend to any brides out there!

ch a dream. It made me feel so beautiful and it was perfect. Kathy was so great and when I asked about the fit with the wrinkles she assured me it was because the gown was not in my size and the alterations team could get the perfect fit. It also showed my belly button through the fabric and she said the same thing. We added a belt and a sheer bolero to get the off the shoulder look I wanted. I had the total crying bridal moment with everyone in tears and cheersing to champagne. With her reassurance that the correct size would be perfect, my dress was ordered and I went back in to try it on when they received it. It was too big but Kathy assured me the alterations team would be able to make it fit perfectly. My first alterations appointment was stressful to say the least. As Shelby who works in alterations was pinning the dress the wrinkles got worse and the showing of my belly button did too. She assured me not to worry and that it would all work out and be perfect. She suggested I get specific undergarments to help with the belly button situation. They believed it was because of the sheerness of the fabric. At my next appointment I wore a corset with spanx over it which was so uncomfortable and it still did not help. You could still see my belly button and the wrinkles were worse. At that point one of the stores managers was called in. I was so upset because this was not the gown I was promised and I asked specific questions about the fit when I purchased the dress. If I was informed these things would not be fixable I would never have purchased the gown. Shelby told me they had had problems with this gown and fabric before and that she would gladly give me a refund for at least the alterations. My mother requested a manager because of how upset and unhappy I was and the fact that they could not follow through with there word on the alterations. One of the managers called me and told me they would not offer a refund but were going to make some adjustments to the gown to get the fit correct. She kept telling me it was confident it would be perfect. When I went back in to the next appointment I was again let down because the dress still showed my belly button and there were tons of wrinkles in the fabric. The manager then asked me what time of day my wedding was. When I told her 6pm she proceeded to turn the lights down and walk around me in a circle saying that during an evening wedding no one would really be able to notice! It was then that I asked for the refund on the alterations and was told no. The manager said they put so much work into it that they went back on what they said at the previous appointment and refused to give me a refund for anything! So I left 34 days before my wedding in tears extremely let down and stressed out with the idea of having to find a new dress before my wedding day. This was supposed to be the happiest time in my life and it turned out to be one of the worsts. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service is terrible and I never want any other bride to go through what I went through!

first salon. Within minutes of meeting Courtney my entire outlook changed. She was incredible! I felt like she truly listened to what I had to say and helped me pick dresses based off that. At the same time, she also pulled a couple that I wouldn’t necessarily have been immediately drawn to, but I so appreciated that as well. She also asked the right questions and was overall super helpful. I ended up finding my DREAM dress and I cannot thank Courtney enough! Every staff person we came in contact with was wonderful as well. I highly recommend Stardust!!

he dress I fell in love with didn’t have an option to ‘open the cups’ I was upset. Cathy wanted to make my dream happen so she actually text the designer to see what we could do. He ended up calling her from China and told her that they could make it work and the exact measurements they would need. Cathy went above and beyond! My dress came in and was beautiful! The alterations team was exceptional. I wanted to make a few changes to my dress and they made it happen. They even hand beaded straps for the dress. I highly recommend Stardust Celebrations for your wedding dress!

d come here - you won't regret it. I had visited several other places before Stardust and none of them came close to the level of service, knowledge, professionalism, and fun of Stardust. They have an awesome selection of dresses, spacious areas for trying on and showing your friends and family the dresses, and superb service. I was a walk-in and they were happy to accommodate me immediately. I worked with Marianne and she was absolutely fantastic, and when I say fantastic, I mean she made the experience as amazing as what you hope to have when finding your wedding dress. Marianne was incredibly knowledgeable about the dresses, how dresses would fit my body - and even took the time to have me try on dresses in my size with the same fit as the dresses I loved in order for me to get a real idea of how the dress would look on me. She was patient, I never felt rushed, she explained things well, didn't pressure me, and was really fun to work with. I also just felt like she really loved her work there and loved design and fashion. My experiences at other places were starting to make me think I would never find my dress, or would just have to pick something that seemed to work okay. And I felt like the stylists/salespeople at the other places I visited were really trying to force you to like what you were trying on, or pressuring you for a sale, or oftentimes would ask me 'what *exactly don't you like?' (about the dress I was trying on and wasn't feeling) - honestly sometimes it's just that while the dress is beautiful in and of itself or on the hanger/mannequin, you don't like it, or it just isn't 'the one'. Marianne totally got that, and would be happy to take the dress away when I put it on and said 'nope' immediately. She didn't try to make me figure out specific things I did or didn't like, and she understood how important how you feel in the dress is. I was so impressed with her and the whole team there. Someone from alterations even came by just because she had some extra time and saw me try on a couple dresses and even gave advice, which was awesome; it's great when the people working with you actually enjoy their work. I didn't pick my dress that same day and never felt any pressure to buy anything; I only felt joy and like Marianne truly wanted me to find a dress I loved. I of course returned and ended up picking the dress of my dreams - I absolutely love my dress! Even waiting for it to come in and thinking about my wedding day, I'm so excited about my dress and my experience at Stardust. From walking in to trying on to checking out, the experience was so so wonderful and I recommend Stardust now to everyone, and especially recommend Marianne because I loved working with her!

memorable! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted immediately by smiling faces and positive personalities! You are given 100% focus by each person who interacts with you and they genuinely want you to leave happy. My appointment did not feel rushed and after narrowing it down to 2 dresses, my stylist provided her information and the dress names letting me know I could call back whenever I decided. We browsed the bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride dresses where Carson and DeeDee were so knowledgeable and talked us through what the process would be for shopping for those dresses with Stardust. Again, no one was pushy and they just wanted us to get what we wanted! After going to an appointment at another salon that day, it was noticeable the service at Stardust was unique and when my stylist at the other salon dissed one of my top dresses I knew I had decided. I called Stardust and raced back to Plano to order my dress! They stayed open late for us to complete the purchase and celebrated with us with champagne, lots of pictures, and a fun sign! One of the owners even made an appearance at this time and after interacting with her, you can tell why Stardust is as special as it is! My appointment was with Marianne and I can't even say enough about her! She came recommended to me and I will always recommend her now! Not only was she completely knowledgeable about their inventory, the designers, and my body shape-but she also let me have more control over the appointment than I expected! After asking me all about my fiance and wedding, she told me the dresses I put on my wishlist were already pulled and in the fitting room, and then she walked around the store with me-letting me browse the racks to see if anything else caught my eye. I loved getting to do this, knowing that I wasn't missing my possible dream dress. She had the dresses in a specific order for my try on and helped the sample size look as good as it could on my small frame! She talked through each dress with my guests and I, only after listening to my opinions on it first. She put accessories on me when needed and gave us so much information regarding what would look good with each dress and my overall look. Marianne is a goddess and truly a gem of Stardust! After ordering and paying for my dress on a Friday night, I began to second guess the color choice. Leaving Marianne a voicemail on that Sunday morning regarding my concerns, she called me back as soon as the store opened and had me come back into the store that day to try on dresses in both color options. She talked me through both options, showed me pictures of other brides online in each color, and when I decided to change the color it was no problem! I can't believe how accommodating they were for this and am SO thankful for that! The store itself is amazing. They have all the dresses and items on wonderful display, everything is so clean and well lit, and the dressing rooms are spacious having comfortable seating for whomever you bring with you to your appointment! Next time I have a bad day, I'm going back to be cheered up and complemented by this wonderful staff! :)
