About this vendor
Danny and Vicki, a dynamic husband and wife duo, founded Starfish Studios in 2012, fueled by their shared passion for photography and filmmaking. Danny, a third-generation photographer, carries on the family legacy as his grandfather was the inaugural Cuban photographer for the Miami Herald. On the other hand, armed with a degree in Entrepreneurship, Vicki had a lifelong dream of owning her own business, much like her father.
Over the past decade, they've witnessed the organic growth of their brainchild, Starfish Studios, with immense satisfaction. From its humble beginnings, the studio has blossomed into a testament to their dedication. Danny's rich familial photographic heritage and Vicki's entrepreneurial spirit have created a unique synergy that defines the essence of Starfish Studios.
The journey has been nothing short of fulfilling, as they've nurtured their studio as if it were their firstborn. Watching Starfish Studios evolve over the years has been a source of joy and accomplishment. The knowledge that the moments they capture will be cherished for a lifetime continues to evoke a sense of wonder and excitement even today. It's a feeling that gives them butterflies, a perpetual reminder of the profound impact their work has on preserving precious memories.

ofessionals. The team at Starfish knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Being in the business myself and running the day-to-to operations of Lessing’s Hospitality Group, we were over-the-moon with the pictures that this team put together. It was a true pleasure to work with them and I can’t thank them enough for how perfect they helped make my daughter's wedding day. The photos are GORGEOUS.

ng and he managed to get a photo of every single person on the dance floor which perfectly captured the night. The getting ready pictures with the bridesmaids are beautiful and the first look came out great and truly captures our happiness and personalities in that moment. We did not have an engagement shoot with a professional photographer but he made taking pictures a breeze and talked us through everything. The photos were worth the wait and I love looking through them - each time I look I find another one I love more than the one before it. Thank you, Starfish team!

We're so grateful for how well they captured our memories!

t of the camera and those images speak for themselves. They offered a unique experience and totally catered to our personal style and aesthetic. I know "capturing the moment" is like the thing but when you have a photographer that can create excitement, comfort and ease in someone who is a bundle of nerves and super camera shy that's the catalyst to capturing the magic. I tell you, I KNEW this was going to be the best wedding photography crew when I saw their genuine "we are so happy to be here FOR YOU" smiles light up the room and that's a vibe you can't find just anywhere. The wedding day goes by so fast, too fast really, but what if I told you that you could relive those moments in time with a picture, and OMGoodness can Danny and the team really show up and freeze frame the day, show you the seen and unseen, and present it to you in a way you could not have imagined. We are so in love with the end result and the experience. Thank you guy so much Starfish Studios!

ng how much time we were going to spend taking pictures! They made it really fun for us and got amazing candid photos. We had planned to be outside on our wedding day doing our first look and bridal party pictures but it was raining so they got us set up at the hotel and made it work perfectly! All of our pictures were amazing and as soon as I looked at them it took me right back to the day. Thank you to Danny and the whole team for helping to make our day so special!

a very nice guy and make you feel comfortable and carefree! My wedding album is absolutely beautiful and really captures the day perfectly, which is something that you want to feel when you look back through them. I highly suggest getting him to stay with you from the very beginning (detail shots) to the end. The detail shots are so well done, as were all the others! Thank you, Starfish, for providing us with very special and beautiful captured memories.

Danny and his crew were amazing! I'm one of those girls who gets awkward whens she has to pose alone so Danny was very helpful and hands on! Helped me smile, laugh, loosen up when ...
my awkward stiffness kicked in, etc. We made a list for pictures with immediate family to occur right after the ceremony. Family dynamics are intense so I appreciated how structured& efficient his timeline was. I tell ya, everyone from The Addison & vendors they recommend were immaculate. They truly are a well oiled machine. Still waiting on pictures, which is to be expected. I mean 2 photographers and thousands of images to edit...have to be patient. I know I will be in love with them all. Danny& his team really portray the style of pictures I am drawn to. I know one vendor who is incredibly crucial in every bride's budget is the photographer. Starfish is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!
