WOW!! My parents went to a wedding back in Fall 2022, and my mom was texting me the whole night “this is the most incredible wedding band I’ve ever seen.” I knew they had to be good, and once I got engaged a few months later I knew we had to reach out. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but we were completely blown away with our introduction Zoom meeting with Evan, the owner of Starlight Music. We worked closely with Allie and she was incredibly helpful with answering questions and making sure we were squared away. The band leader Denny took the time to learn/listen to requests we had…and when I am telling you our guests were blown away and could not stop talking about our band, I’m so serious. They really made the whole event come together, between an acoustic set during cocktail hour to rocking out the whole night, they have a great range and really are so talented.

We cannot recommend White Light Band enough! They absolutely set the entire vibe for our wedding reception. We told them we wanted people dancing the entire time and the band absolutely delivered - our guests did NOT want to leave the dance floor for even a single song! After our wedding we received tons of compliments about how incredible the band was, and they truly went above and beyond to create such a fun and amazing atmosphere. Not only that, but they were very professional, organized, and easy to work with, and made the entire process seamless. The entire band is made up of incredibly talented musicians and performers and they truly helped us to have the wedding of our dreams!

I don’t know how we’ll ever come up with the right words to express our gratitude to Evan and his team. They showed up in every sense of the term, and made our day something neither of us could have ever imagined. They were magical. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to make the day entirely ours and so true to who we were. Thank you for letting us let loose, and encouraging us to have the time of our lives. You and your entire team will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much to the Blake Band for the most incredible night!! Literally, everyone came up to us during or after the party to specifically tell us how phenomenal the band was and needed their information. They were amazing with the crowd and just crushed every song they played. We also appreciated how they helped the whole party flow and that Denny played impromptu Grateful Dead during dinner when my dad asked. We couldn't have asked for a better band! We also appreciate all of Evan and Allies' help these past few months, especially their flexibility when we had an issue with our initial venue a year prior.

We had Onyx play at our wedding and HOLY MOLY ARE THEY FIRE. I'm telling you.... don't sleep on Onyx. They're professional, unbelievably talented, and just fun people to have hyping you up at your wedding. Multiple people said they were the best wedding band they've ever seen and we couldn't agree more. We didn't want a standard cheesy wedding band and Onyx is sooooooooo far from that. Seriously... do it.... they're worth every penny and more. We love onyx!!!!

I cannot adequately convey just how amazing Starlight Music was. We had the Rock and Soul Band play at our wedding, and we've been receiving compliments ever since. I can't think of another band or ensemble where so many of the guests independently looked up their website after to follow them and e-mail the band leader thanking them for their amazing performance. Starlight music was on our preferred vendors list for our venue at Tappan Hill. We ended up interviewing five bands and music companies in our search for the perfect wedding band. We decided to go with Evan and Starlight music for a couple reasons: 1) Our wedding is a Jewish wedding and Evan's band fees are all inclusive. We were honoring Jewish wedding traditions that I had little experience with. We needed music for the cocktail hour, additional music for the procession from the tisch to the bedeken, msuic for the ceremony, and finally music for the reception. Many of the other music companies we looked at wanted and additional "bedeken fee," for what amounts to an additional 5 minutes or music. Evan immediately knew what a bedeken was, what kind of music needed to be played, and offered bedeken services as part of the cocktail hour and reception music. All music for the whole event was included in the fee we paid and it didn't feel like we were being bombarded with ala carte fees, as most of the other music companies were. 2) Starlight was able to give us musicians who had experience with playing a hora. We really wanted someone who could sing Hebrew well, and our band, Rock and Soul, fit the bill. 3) Starlight was able to show us music from actual performances they had done at Tappan Hill. Most companies had highly edited hype videos, but they were reluctant to show us clips from actual performances. As Evan explained to us, the footage is less impressive, but it gave us an idea of what the music would look like at Tappan Hill. We absolutely made the right choice. We had a meeting with the band to discuss our music choices. The band bent over backwards to meet all our needs. They were able to learn a waltz for our parents, do the best hora I've ever danced, learn our first dance song, which is pretty uncommon, and play an Israeli song for the bride to walk down the aisle too. They even learned a variation of the tradition bedeken music where they played modern pop music to get my non-Jewish wedding party in the mood, and switched to more traditional klezmer music for the bedeken. We had the acoustic trio (with singing) for our cocktail hour. They were awesome and set the right mood. They weren't too loud or overpowering where our guests wouldn't be able to converse. The saxophone, trumpet, and violin did an awesome job for our procession from the tisch to the bedeken. The ceremony music was beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. And finally, the reception music was the most memorable I've ever experienced. Throughout the wedding our guests were coming up to us and complimenting us on the band. Even now, a month later, we are still receiving compliments for the band. The trumpet player and sax player were ridiculously talented and interacted with our guests and fun and entertaining ways. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would 100% hire Starlight and Rock and Soul Band again, and we would recommend them to anyone looking. If they seem pricey, make sure to compare them to other bands after calculating all fees. They actually are reasonably priced.

I am a Wedding Planner with a well known firm, Marriage and Mimosas. We worked with Starlight Music at a large (275) person wedding this past weekend. They had guests on the dance floor the entire night!!! They were amazing and able to accommodate all of our requests throughout the night while putting out epic music. Their team was very professional- their artists dressed very nicely as well! It was so fun and we would 100% recommend Starlight to all of our couples!

WOW, WOW, WOW As great as we thought/hoped Starlight Orchestra would be, they were even greater. Continuous music, excellent instrumentalists and vocalists, great choreography, high energy ..... everyone was on the dance floor! Everyone at our daughter's wedding had a great time, and many remarked, that they would individually pay to hear Starlight Orchestra perform Most of our guests said that this was the best wedding they had ever been to Clearly they made our daughter's wedding reception a most memorable event! They exceeded our wildest expectations!!

I wish I could give Starlight Music 10 stars. To say this was the best investment of our wedding is an understatement. Evan and Allie made the booking and planning process so easy. They were always on top of things and responsive. We had our planning call with Ramon and he knew exactly what we wanted. We were in between songs for our first dance and the one we loved was a bit upbeat and needed it to be slowed down and Ramon assured us it was definitely possible. Come wedding night, they transformed the song in a way I couldn't have even imagined, it was a dream. Ramon and the rest of the Onyx band absolutely killed it. I've never seen so many people on the dance floor at once the entire night, including my father (not a big dancer) who did not sit down the entire night. Their crowd work and talent is impeccable -- at one point I just had to stop and watch the band because they were THAT good and I felt like I was at a show. During the wedding, Onyx is all anyone could talk about and still, 6 months later, everyone's still raving about them. BEST night of our life and best decision we made was booking this band.

Star Power is a must for your wedding. Myoshi and her band brought so much life to my wedding. Ive worked with Myoshi in the past but having her talent and her wonderful team at my own wedding was so special. All of my guests raved about the band for months after my wedding. Their contagious energy kept the dance floor packed all night long. Myoshi - my wedding would not have been the same without you. Thank you for all of your help, all of your energy and getting me out of my shell and on stage with you guys. What a night!!!!!

We hired ONYX for our wedding on March 25, 2023. The very first thing that my husband and I said to each other when we woke up the morning after our wedding was "HOLY **** OUR BAND" - and two weeks later, our guests are STILL talking about how insane they were. Guests were on the dance floor the entire night; the way that they blended both old and new music made the inter-generational party incredible. They not only brought the party, but they became part of the party when they jumped into and interacted with the crowd. Ramon, Allie, and Evan were incredibly easy to work with - Ramon completely understood our vibe when we had our pre-wedding meeting with him, and Allie was attentive, responsive, and super easy to work with. Hands down the best decision we made was hiring Onyx.

The Blake Band was absolutely incredible. They are so very talented and it felt like being at your own private concert. I still have friends and family commenting on how fun our wedding was, specifically, that we had the most amazing band. It was a perfect mix of soft music during dinner hour, then party music that had everyone dancing all night long! I would HIGHLY recommend them.

We booked Star Power through Starlight with Evan and it was our best decision! Every single person who is a part of Star Power performed beyond our wildest dreams. They read the crowd like true professionals and kept everyone on their feet. The band leader Myoshi could not have made us feel more special. Her amazing smile helped light up the crowd and her talent is incomparable. The entire band is truly full of pure talent and joy and we're so happy we were able to have each person there because it would not have been as electrifying if anyone was missing. We had an amazing time with the White Light band at our wedding on 10/22 on Long Island. Both my fiance and I love to dance at weddings and really wanted to ensure that our wedding was as high energy as possible. White Light really exceeded our expectations - they kept the dance floor as packed as possible all night long and really performed a wide variety of music that appealed to all of our guests. Each singer was really exceptional and the music both at the ceremony and cocktail hour were great. SO many of our guests came up to us at the end of the night to say this was the best band that they have heard - even some of our friends who don't love bands at weddings said that they understood the hype. Thanks so much White Light for such an incredible night!

I cannot recommend Starlight Music enough! Evan, Denny and Allie went above and beyond from the very first meeting with my fiancé and I. We had no idea what we wanted, but were so happy to follow their lead from start to finish and everything in-between. Allie (Event Coordinator) is very organized, professional and honest, which ultimately made our experience with Starlight Music as easy as possible. Denny (Lead Band Member) quickly understood the vision that we had in mind and perfectly executed to make our music dreams come true! They’re also wonderful at providing you with their input and feedback, all while still keeping in mind the clients’ vision and wants. White Light Band perform at my wedding on July 16th. I can’t explain how amazing they were. Everyone was on the dance floor. I had guests from 4-94 and even the 94 year old danced. Every single person came up to me, asked who the band was, and even said they wished they hired you for their own weddings. We postponed our wedding due to Covid and the best part of planning was choosing the music. At the end everyone was shouting one more song. I had the most magical wedding experience. I will recommend your company to anyone. I remember after our first zoom with Evan, I rushed and called my mom to sign the contract almost 2 years ago. I knew it would be a success. I am even hearing about other recent weddings and everyone is saying “your band was the best we’ve ever heard” and this was the best wedding of their lives (and we are in our mid 30s.) Allie, was extremely patient with us! Up to the wedding day, she helped tremendously. This company was the best vendors to work with from start to finish.

Words cannot describe how great it was to work with Starlight Music and Onyx. Onyx was truly the highlight of our wedding and made it the best night of our lives! Almost every guest came up to us after to tell us how it was the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding and equated the wedding to a fully interactive concert. And note this was not an easy feat as our wedding was interreligious and interracial, yet Onyx was able to keep every guest (most importantly my wife who is not always the biggest dancer) on the dance floor all night. Onyx’s breadth and depth of talent is unmatched and they perfectly transitioned from genre to genre only playing songs we wanted to hear throughout the night. Evan and Allie with Starlight Music are true professionals. Our favorite part of our wedding planning process was going through Starlight’s proprietary platform to review 300+ songs to pick which songs we would want Onyx to play and which songs were not our favorite. I’m not aware of any other company that offers something similar and it ensured that only our favorite songs played throughout the night. Evan and Allie were also always incredibly responsive whether it had to do with custom song requests to adding performers to give my wife the ceremony of her dreams. If you want to put on a wedding that your guests will never forget then it is a no brainer to go with Starlight and Onyx. Thank you again for making our wedding so special!

The Onyx Band blew our wedding away. Hands down the best wedding decision we ever made was hiring Starlight & The Onyx Band. The dance floor was full the entire night…and I mean the ENTIRE night. The #1 feedback we have received about our wedding was that the band was “the best they’ve ever seen” and overall just mind-blowingly phenomenal. The Onyx Band is just made up of some ridiculously talented people who were having just as much fun with us and our guests as we were with them. I can’t say enough good things about them. Working with Ramon, Allie, and Evan was a dream scenario. They were all incredibly responsive and available throughout the whole planning process, and truly made it fun. I did not leave the dance floor for fear of missing out on a great song... I even accidentally dropped the knife while cutting our wedding cake because I wanted to run back to the dance floor with my fiancé.

We worked with the Starlight team and their band, The White Light, for our January 2022 wedding in NYC. We had heard them at a friend's wedding in 2019 and knew that they were a must-book for our own event, and they did not disappoint! Allie was wonderful to work with on the backend, and they accommodated us when we pushed our reception from 2021 to 2022. Thanks to prep calls and music review emails, we felt like we were on the exact same page as to what the "vibe" of our wedding and its music was. When our reception day came, there was a huge snow storm, and certain members of the band couldn't make it into the city. However, they seamlessly found substitutes and the band sounded even better than they did when we had heard them a few years ago! We had them play piano and saxophone at our cocktail hour, and for dancing, they did a mix of contemporary music, Motown, disco, classics from the 70s and 80s, and 90s pop/hip hop...they even threw in a "Hamilton" medley for our Broadway-obsessed crowd! They have the best energy and such talented musicians (the singers and rappers especially)...all of our guests are still raving about them, as are we. Thank you Allie + team!

Evan and Rock & Soul were AMAZING! We were married in October 2021, and once we heard the band's demo tracks we knew this was the band for us. Evan shared so much content with us as we prepared to make our decision, including unedited vocal tracks (so that we could hear the raw talent of his performers) as well as videos from other events. As the date got closer, Evan and the Starlight team worked with us to create our ideal playlist, including special songs for our ceremony and our cocktail hour. They were also sensitive to our family dynamics and to our personal likes and dislikes. During the reception, the band kept everyone on their feet all night! We loved their plan for the flow of the evening, which maximized the time on the dance floor - we've since attended another wedding where this was not the case, and it was very noticeable! So many of our guests raved about how good the band was, and have asked for their information to recommend them for future weddings - everyone enjoyed themselves so much! We cannot thank Evan and Rock & Soul enough for all of their help and a fantastic evening!

We LOVE the White Light Band! They were absolutely AMAZING at our wedding this December. All night long our guests were raving about how amazing they were. The energy, the vocals, the guitars, the drums, the saxophone, the keyboard, ALL OF IT! The band leader Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with from our very first meeting all the way to party end at midnight! Him and the entire band kept everyone on the dance floor and we never wanted it to end! We cannot recommend them enough! We would choose Starlight Music over and over again!

When my (future) husband and I got engaged, he was adamant that we had to have a killer band. He did his own research and we met with Evan from Starlight, who walked us through some of the band selections at Starlight. We made our decision, but then of course, the pandemic happened, and we had to postpone our wedding by one year. Evan worked with us to select a new Starlight band - White Light - for our new 2021 date. We primarily worked with Allie and Mike (band leader) leading up to our wedding, and walked through the intricacies of the ceremony and special songs to us. Our guests keep telling us how much they loved our band, and we were more than happy to dance for 2+ hours to music that was tailored to our likes and wants. White Light even learned a few songs for us. I would highly recommend working with Starlight and the White Light!

First and foremost The Starlight Band and its Leader Evan Tyler are amazingly talented, both as a Band and Individually. They will provide you and your guests with the time of your life. They are extremely organized leading up to the wedding, making certain they do not leave out any detail you desire: and then they deliver your every wish and a lot more!!

Evan and the whole Rock and Soul band were amazing!!!! They felt the vibe of the wedding and kept us dancing all night! Our guests cannot stop raving about how they were the best band from any wedding they’ve been to! Allie was also SO helpful throughout planning and made sure she knew everything we wanted! Literally the best night of our lives because of Rock and Soul!!

The Blake Band (Starlight Music): HO! LY! $#!%! No matter what I write, I cannot possibly do the band justice. Oh my God, they were utterly phenomenal. The energy they brought was insane. I could tell that there were some guests hesitant to get on the floor (in part due to covid), but the band leaving the stage and coming onto the floor was just what we needed. There was one point where two members were doing a Crazy In Love duet and I could swear I was watching a concert or music video. The cocktail hour singer (Elisa) was awesome and they chose the perfect playlist to compliment the vibe. The rapper (YSL) commands the room when he is on the mic and I can't imagine not having him there; he provides the band with a chance to have such great range and he is even better in person than videos. Tip: please get the 10-piece band that includes a female r&b singer and rapper, it is soooo worth it. The male R&B singer (Ashwi) was a favorite of ours—we requested specific songs because we saw him sing them on the preview videos, and he absolutely crushed each one. And of course, the band leader Denny Blake. I was able to briefly chat with him before and after everything, and I can't say enough about him or the band. He has the perfect rock voice, and is also such a great guy. I will hopefully never need another wedding band, but they will be recommended to anyone who will listen. Just about every guest told us how great the band was; there were rave reviews from anyone that was there from guests in their 20s to guests in their 80s. If I could only keep one vendor, this is the one. Their videos are incredible but only show about 1/3 of the performance you get in-person. Please do yourself a favor and book the Blake Band.

Evan Tyler really listened to our couple and selected the band leader and musicians accordingly. Myoshi was our band leader and lead singer and she struck just the right note with elegance, style, and fun! It took just one look and two notes for us to know that the vibe of the evening was in excellent hands.

WOW! Rock & Soul kept everyone on their feet from start to finish! Evan and his team at Starlight Music are professional, responsive, and loaded with great ideas... and obviously fabulous musicians! The acoustics were spot on for every toast, the ceremony and vows, and all throughout the dance sets. Not only did they sing, but they performed! Our guests were dazzled with the choreographer dance moves and lit up when Evan or the saxophone player joined everyone on the dance floor. They wove in our "must play" songs with perfect selections to keep everyone moving and enjoying themselves. During dinner, the quieter music was perfect so our guests could enjoy conversation during that time. One of my absolute favorite parts of Rock & Soul was the Acoustic Trio during cocktail hour. So much more fun than a traditional Jazz Trio, and something our guests pointed out really set the mood for the evening. Rock & Soul band is worth every penny and will without a doubt help you have a memorable wedding!

I could not feel more thankful for Starlight Music and their whole team for making our wedding truly unforgettable! Everything - from the ceremony music to the very last song of the night - was incredible! Rock & Soul did not miss a beat and our guests never left the dancefloor. My husband and I did a TON of research before picking our wedding band, because it was such an important part of the day for us. I am a trained dancer, so I knew our friends and family wanted to boogie. What initially drew us to Starlight was the energy their bands bring to an event. They are not your typical wedding bands. Our first meeting with Evan was super informative, he answered every question we had. We went into our meeting knowing we LOVED Blake Band, which is who we ultimately ended up choosing for our special day. Denny, the band leader was so fun to work with. He is creative, gave great insight into songs we were deciding between, and really made our event feel different, which is ultimately what we wanted. We love brass, and Denny found fun ways to incorporate the trumpet and sax into our night, including an awesome version of Uptown Funk which had the horns grooving on the dance floor with everyone! And I have to shout out Elisa because I honestly believe you won't find a better female vocal for your wedding than her! Allie was our POC for all questions leading up to the event. It didn't matter what time of day I emailed her, she always responded within a few hours. The bottom line is a wedding band is an investment, and I honestly think choosing Blake Band, or any Starlight Music band is the right call. They are extremely talented, bring a great energy, and have competitive pricing. Starlight cares about its customers and doesn't just see you as a pay day. Evan and his team truly want to make your day special. So thank you Evan, Allie, Denny, Elisa, and the whole Blake Band crew for making our wedding day so incredible. That dance floor was off the charts thanks to you!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Onyx rocked it all night long. Once the party got started it never stopped until it was over. Our guests danced all night. They were absolutely amazing! All my friends could not stop talking about the band for days after. I highly, highly recommend Starlight!

We wanted to thank Ramon and the Onyx band for an AMAZING time!!!! We are SO happy they were able to celebrate with us! Everyone at brunch the next day was commenting on how amazing the band was! Everyone was dancing the entire night, which of course is because of the band! Ramon (the band leader) picked up on our vibe and played music that kept the party going! We are SO happy that Onyx was part of our celebration and we can't wait to recommend them to others!! We can’t say enough about Starlight Music and The Blake Band! We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and they could not have been more flexible and positive throughout that process. Evan, Denny, and Allie are an absolute dream to work with! When we met with Denny and Allie a few weeks before the wedding, they listened carefully to what we envisioned and totally delivered the day of our wedding. At cocktail hour, we had their trio play and they did not disappoint. Only a preview to what The Blake Band would be like at the reception. They played all of the songs we wanted to hear and kept the dancing going the entire night. Our guests can’t stop talking about how unbelievable the band was and how they had to remind themselves they weren’t at a concert! The Blake Band even learned a few new songs for us that really made our night that more special. We can’t imagine our wedding day without them!

We can’t say enough good things about Starlight and the INCREDIBLE job they did for our small backyard wedding. We originally booked them for an indoor ceremony in November that has of course been postponed. Evan was able to quickly assist when we told him we were going forward with a small outdoor ceremony. Evan recommended Drew, who was utterly fantastic. Drew worked with us to develop a song list. On our wedding day, it poured rain. Drew showed up with excitement and just made it work. Our wedding was a resounding success in no small part because Drew’ s music was SO special and perfect. All of the stress of wedding planning and 2020 melted away. We will always be grateful to them for making our backyard wedding extra wonderful.

I can't say enough terrific things about Evan Tyler, the Rock & Soul Band from Starlight Music. He and his hand picked musicians and vocalists made my son's wedding the absolute most fun and enjoyable event for everyone attending. It was especially memorable as we all celebrated a week before the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut shelter-at-home order was implemented. Everyone danced their hearts out and the selection of music was perfect. There is no need to explore any other group. In addition to being an outstanding vocalist with a dynamic personality, Evan is also very flexible and able to work collaboratively with couples to provide a customized entertainment package rather than something that is typical and boring. Hire them and dance your heart out!

Starlight Music and Evan Tyler will rock the house! They are an incredibly talented group of musicians, who will elevate any event they perform at. When we met Denny and saw footage of The Blake Band we knew that we needed him for our special day. Starlight Orchestra performed at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing and had everyone dancing all night! The Blake Band was an extremely wonderful asset to our wedding day! The staff was very professional and responded to our calls and emails very quickly when working with them leading up to the wedding. They accommodated all of our requests with no question and learned some new songs for us. They had some great recommendations on our timeline for the evening and certainly bring a ton of experience to keeping a wedding running smoothly. The band leader kept all of our guests up and dancing the entire night and coordinated with the venue seamlessly. Some of the musicians even came onto the dancefloor with the instruments and kept the crowd lively. They helped make it the best night that we will remember forever!! What an amazing night partly due to the band. I am still hearing from everyone why an amazing wedding my daughter and son in law had and how great the bad was. They didn’t blast everyone out of their seats they kept everyone on the dance floor. They were a 10 piece band and I couldn’t even decide who I enjoyed more every single singer had an amazing voice and stage presence. They put on a fantastic show and can play anything country, rock, pop you name it they will learn it or know it. If your looking for the best look no for these than Starlight Music

My husband and I both love music, and we have experienced the amazing impact a great band can have on the energy of a wedding. We were super picky when looking for a band for our big day, and are SO HAPPY that we found Starlight Music. From the moment we met Evan, we could tell we were working with the real deal. One huge thing for us was that, unlike most places, their video demos were not auto-tuned or over-produced. It was clear these performers could sing in real life—not just after heavy editing—and the range of styles they cover was impressive. We ended up hiring the Rock and Soul band, and were able to customize it a bit to fit the style we were going for (gotta love a trumpet!). They were collaborative when we decided to bring in a ringer to lead the band for the hora, and when we asked them to learn a specific rendition of our first dance song. On the day of the wedding we were blown away. The energy was high, the musicianship was second to none, and the singers were AMAZING—I was honestly a bit starstruck—ha! We got sooo many rave reviews from our guests about the band. Highly recommend!

Wow. These musicians are unbelievably talented. I understand they have a few different band options, we worked with the Blake Band. They can nail any genre and make it sound like the actual artist is up their performing. The energy of your brand makes or breaks a wedding in my opinion, and these guys brought it! The singers and musicians are interactive with your guests which is so fun for everybody. They really take your music seriously, they will walk through which artists you like and don't like, and make sure you feel totally comfortable with your day musically a few weeks beforehand. Could not recommend them more.

Let’s be real, the demo videos speak for themselves. The Blake Band is incredible. The singers and the musicians are very talented and they put on an amazing show. In our experience, Denny was fun to work with and helpful in creating the night we wanted for ourselves and our guests. He let us rap a surprise performance of “Bust A Move” on stage with the band. He played a medley of California songs in tribute to my home state. The horns players duked it out on the dance floor. The rapper got the crowd pumped. The band never lost steam and the music never stopped. We got the wedding we dreamed of: everyone was on the dance floor all night long. Our guests are still raving about the band.

I cannot put into words how amazing The Blake Band was for our wedding. It was truly the most fun night of my life. Every member is so talented, their energy is so fun-they blew me away. My dance floor was packed all night. The instrumentals for cocktail hour and the ceremony were perfect and elegant. Denny even learned a song to perform at our ceremony and he was wonderful. Administratively, Starlight Music-especially Allie-was on top of every detail. The response time was always same-day and they were willing to make every request a reality. Just Hire Them! Choosing the Blake Band and Starlight music was the best choice we could have made-no one could have rocked it better!! Thank you!!

Evan and his fellow band members in Rock & Soul (one of Starlight's bands) really made our wedding an amazingly fun party. They really worked with us to understand what we did and didn't like and then crafted their set list accordingly. After initially mentioning they didn't know the "first dance" song my wife and I selected, they let us know ahead of the evening that they'd been practicing it and would knock it out of the park -- and boy they were right. So many of our friends told us it was the best wedding they'd been to, largely due to the great music and energy in the room. From classics to newer pop, they had great energy and ability to keep the crowd engaged and having fun. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band.

Wow! We honestly could not have imagined just how amazing the Rock & Soul band would be for our wedding. The guests could not stop raving about the music. The Rock & Soul band played all the hits through the ages and guests young and old were on their feet dancing all night! Evan & Allie made the whole process so enjoyable and I felt like I was in great hands throughout the entire planning process. They truly are professionals who love what they do. So thankful for the staff at Starlight and the Rock & Soul Band for making 8/24/19 so special for us.

We used the White Light band through Starlight music and can’t recommend them enough! From the beginning Evan and Allie answered our many emails and questions quickly and with enthusiasm! They were so helpful during the whole process and we even met with mike the band leader beforehand so he could make sure all of our requests were heard. During our wedding, We had so many people come up to us to ask for the bands name and our guests were dancing all night long! I believe the band is one of the most important parts of the wedding night and We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

All I can say is WOW!! The Blake Band was unbelievable! I have been to a lot of weddings but never to one with a band as great as this one. They were such professionals—and Denny and the rest of the band completely knew how to read the crowd. The dance floor was full the entire evening—even during dinner service!! There wasn’t one person at the wedding that did not come up to me and tell me how amazing the band was. The wedding did not end until 1 AM but no one left early, and the guests were begging for more!! The only complaint I had from our guests was that their feet were killing them the next morning! Expectations were high but they were exceeded!! Thank you for making this wedding and unforgettable experience from my daughter, new son-in-law, and the rest of us !!

There aren't enough words to describe how incredible Evan, Allie, and the entire Starlight team are! Picking the right band can easily make or break your wedding, and from the second we met Evan we knew Starlight was the perfect and only choice. Our wedding ROCKED!! They made my night better than I ever could have imagined - all our guests were on their feet dancing the entire time! Every single member of Rock & Soul is beyond talented, from the vocalists to the musicians, and they engage with the crowd in a way I've never seen from other wedding bands. Evan himself is a joy to work with, and has the most enthusiastic personality that had me excited for the party months in advance. He ensured the entire night went smoothly behind the scenes as well, which I cannot thank him enough for. Hiring Starlight was the best decision I ever made, and I only wish I had another party coming up to use them again!

We had such a fantastic experience working with Starlight Music! From the very first meeting they were so wonderful about making us feel totally confident in their abilities to bring our dream wedding night to life! We watched several of their bands and ultimately decided to hire White Light as our wedding band. It was one of the best decisions we made! Mike and his band wowed us on every level. Personally, Mike was so friendly to work with. We got to meet with him before the wedding and talked everything through. We left feeling totally confident that they knew exactly what we were looking for, which was to make sure people danced as much as possible. And they sure did! The band completely felt the vibe of the guests the whole night. They fed off of their energy and played songs that kept everyone on the dance floor. Some members of the group even got onto the floor and danced and sang along with the guests, which added to the excitement. My husband and I did not stop dancing! They played great music and the singers were all so incredibly talented. Their vocals blew us away! We have not stopped hearing compliments from our family and friends about how amazing the music was. Everyone has raved about what a great night it was and that was definitely in large part to the band. They were certainly worth every penny for us!

Evan and his band made our wedding all we could have hoped for and more. I am from Grenada and my husband is from Israel. So finding music that appealed to everyone was challenging to say the least. But they pulled it off spectacularly! We were really pleased with their attention to the direction we gave. Our wedding was a very happy and joyous occasion with them setting a fantastic rhythm. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it a night to remember.

What a night!!! It was amazing. Evan and his band were so energetic and lively until the end. Rock and Soul did an incredible job. My fiance and I didn't know our aisle songs until a few days before the wedding and no one would have known. At party time, the dancing never ended. Evan listened to all of our requests to incorporate all the genres of music we liked and made sure people were always dancing and keeping the crowd entertained. I knew the band was great but to hear it from everyone who came to the wedding telling me how great they were, confirmed it. Even two weeks later people keep telling me how amazing the band was. My husband and I had so much fun. Thank you Evan and the rest of Rock and Soul for an amazing night!

We hired The Blake Band for our NYC wedding at the Lotte New York Palace last fall. There are not enough good things I can say about the band and Starlight music. Denny and his band are unbelievably talented. Our guests all raved how spectacular the band was. I wish I could go back to our wedding day just to hear them perform again. You honestly can't go wrong with hiring the Blake Band to perform on your wedding day. They are worth every $$$. You will not be disappointed. We did hire a few specialty singers which only added more talent to the already talented group. Thank you so much Denny and Evan for exceeding our very high expectations. You guys are truly amazing!

These guys were our band for a wedding at Liberty Warehouse in April 2019. They were literally the best. We could not imagine anything better. They learned a number of quirky songs that were important to us and killed them, and then just kept the energy flowing and people dancing all night long. Of all the parts of our wedding, the thing we felt best about and kept hearing from our guests about was how amazing the band was. Mike and his team did everything we were looking for and whenever we have an event again we will be calling them up!
