Oh my gosh, where to begin. My advice is to drop everything and books Starshield right this second. Rich & Austin were truly unbelievable! I wish I could give them higher than a 5 star rating. Every single one of my guests said our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to and that the music was absolutely impeccable. They delivered exactly on the vibes that we wanted music wise. They gave clear and direct instructions, and handled our very rowdy and large bridal party no problem. When our timeline got a bit screwed up, they rolled with the punches on the fly and it was still seamless. Starshield came SO highly recommended by several friends, and clearly they knew what they were talking about. I've been to and in a lot of weddings, so I swear I know a great dj from an average one. Rich & Austin were amazing, and they truly made our night everything we wanted and more!

Our mission: Plan with you, entertain your guests and lead your event forward appropriately, professionally and in an entertaining manner!
What to expect:
Couples hosting both small or large weddings can have Starshield Entertainment Group entertain them and their guests on their special day. Each couple will be met with before the wedding day to create a music and entertainment plan. They will have access to their W2 internally managed Emcee anytime they would like to chat with them and with the online planning tool they can access design services for photobooths or other artwork, plan timelines, music and special formal moments and even connect with staff and keep each other informed of all details.
We also coordinate with your other vendors and call your venue to take some stress off of you! We want you to feel comfortable and led through this process while our job is to listen and help you plan. Each wedding is different and we want to plan with you in order to make your wedding a succes.
As a full-service company, you can add on a variety of other services, such as photobooths, lighting and effects to make your wedding day celebration complete.

night and consistently checked in with us every step of the way to make sure everything was running exactly how we wanted. His energy was contagious, and he kept the party flowing seamlessly. We never once had to worry about what was happening next — he had it completely under control.
Vito, our DJ, absolutely nailed it. He played all of our must-plays and perfectly captured the vibe we were hoping for. The dance floor was packed all night, and the music felt like us. The transitions were smooth, the energy stayed high, and the party never slowed down.
Kadeem at the photobooth was fantastic as well — so friendly, helpful, and organized. Our guests had such a great time, and we loved seeing everyone enjoying themselves.
We also have to shout out Xavier, our event consultant. He was incredibly responsive and patient throughout the entire planning process. Even when we were making last-minute changes up until the day before, he answered emails promptly and made sure everything was updated and executed flawlessly.

ordinated with Xavier. Xavier was so attentive and extremely responsive, he was such a joy to work with. We met Rich during our initial consult and he immediately made us feel like we had been friends for years. We had our final details meeting with Rich and he made sure to go over every single little detail to make sure the sequence of intros, song choices, dinner, and cake cutting events. It left us genuinely feeling like we could sit back and just let Rich and Julian do what they needed to get the party started, and that they did. Julian had everyone on the dance floor from the beginning of the night to the very end of the reception, and we have not stopped hearing about how much fun our guests had at our wedding. The day truly would not have been the same without them there

5 at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club, and everyone/everything was absolutely amazing! My fiance (now husband, woo!) wanted a DJ who would respect our music wishes, not talk too much (we personally hate when the emcee speaks the entire time LOL) and would be personable with the guests. Let me tell you, they exceeded ALL of our expectations! They had everything down to a science thanks to the form they helped us complete prior to the event, they quickly made changes as needed/if we asked, and they even joined in dancing and celebrating with us! Every guest had nothing but amazing things to say, and we agree with them all.
In addition, Angel (who is one of their social media specialists) absolutely went above and beyond for us during the ceremony. I had asked the photographers to set up my personal camera on a tripod to record the ceremony, as we did not want a videographer all night but wanted to record the ceremony. I was later told that the camera would not work right as the ceremony was about the begin, and without hesitation, Angel jumped in and recorded the entire thing for us on his phone! That was so incredibly kind of him, and I cannot thank him enough!

s phenomenal. He executed all speeches and intro perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor and entertained all night. Our DJ for the night was Nick and he was the best DJ we could have asked for. Nick knew exactly what song to play and when to play it the entire night. From the second the dance floor opened, Nick had everyone on their feet. We also opted to have the photo booth for our wedding. Xavier was our Photo Booth attendant and was amazing. Xavier made sure that we were able to take a second away from the dance floor and coordinated so we could get a few pictures of ourselves in the Photo Booth and with our bridal party. Looking back at the photos from the Photo Booth they all look great and look like everyone was having a great time thanks to Xavier. We also had the privilege of having Angel attend our wedding to record for StarShields media team and he did an amazing job capturing that night. Even people who were unable to attend the wedding saw how much fun we had because of Angel. I would like to thank the entire StarShield Entertainment team for their efforts. I would recommend them to anyone looking to be entertained for all events.

Meanwhile, Nick and Vito caught the vibes we gave them and delivered them back tenfold. During planning, my husband and I decided we wanted a less family-friendly dancing portion of our night, and created a "Dancing vibes" playlist for that part. From ceremony until then, Nick and Vito did a great job of playing crowd-pleasing music and getting everyone hyped for our reception entrances. Then, they announced the vibe shift and absolutely threw it down, using our playlist as inspiration. The were mixing songs, riling the crowd, and keeping people dancing. Nobody wanted the night to end. It was the best DJ set we've experienced -- weddings and elsewhere! 100% recommend them for any style of wedding because they were wholly professional and fun.

very planning meeting was filled with laughter and good vibes as we worked through our perfect timeline, playlists, activities, and overall vision for our wedding. Rich is a pro as an MC and had our guests up and dancing all night long! Xavier ran the photo booth and not only made sure people were taking tons of fun photos, but kept everything running perfectly. Julian kept the music flowing all night, and I heard nothing but compliments from our guests about how great the music was!
The entire Starshield team is so special and I’ve personally have seen them come up from the start. They’re truly unlike any other entertainment service and from the very beginning, they made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely excited. I will literally never go to another DJ again!

A few months out from the wedding, Kevin reached out again and just did a quick check in. I appreciated this because it helped to really refocus my brain after not having much to do for a year and a half.
When it comes to the actual wedding, I was BLOWN AWAY. The photobooth was a huge hit. The music was phenomenal. Rich, our MC, was so interactive and so on point. Nick was an amazing DJ. The dance floor was PACKED all night long. I danced the entire night, which is exactly what I wanted. The glow tubes were a blast, and I really think helped to get the party started.

It felt like they really knew us and a few times during the night I would look to someone near me excited and surprised by the song they played. We casually mentioned versions of songs that we liked in meetings, but didn’t add them to our must play and they played them anyway. It was amazing. Rosie was so sweet and I received a bunch of compliments about her and the photo booth. I cannot recommend them enough, they made our wedding so perfect. Every so often Kevin would give someone the mic to sing along to their favorite song, which was so funny. We even got behind the booth to “guest DJ,” that made for some amazing photos. We loved them so much, definitely hire them for an amazing event.

I loved the portal they offer to personalize your wedding playlist, you can even include the specific youtube/spotify links and they do the rest! link to zoom so we could chat. He checked in often and completely understood what we were trying to accomplish with our music. He and Rich were super accommodating when we wanted to add mash ups for our songs. They were also very honest with us about what we needed. As you can see, Kevin, Austin and crew kept EVERYBODY on the dance floor the whole night. Kevin was also very in tuned to what we wanted and changed songs flawlessly when he could feel it wasn't our vibe. Rich also messaged us the day after our wedding to check in and make sure everything was up to our standards. Book with Starshield, worth every penny.

ng was set up and ready to go. They truly care about your day and want you to have the best day ever. Our DJ was awesome and played the songs we wanted and some of their own music and the dance floor was rocking all night long. Kevin was our MC and he was amazing! If you have the chance, book him as your MC. He was funny, got everyone dancing and checked in with us multiple times throughout the night. He even led a table dash game so that we had photos with each table. He was featured in some of the photos with our guests too! Starshield is affordable and I would recommend them to anyone who is having a wedding. My guests also said they loved the DJ!

as us! Starshield helped bring our vision to life! One of my friends recommended Starshield after working several weddings that they provided DJ services for. I could not be any happier. The entire process was so easy! They are available to discuss concerns and questions through several platforms. If you have any questions, it is easy to schedule a virtual meeting with them. They provide an online dashboard that is so helpful for organizing your timeline, introductions, designs, and playlists! We had Rich as our DJ and he was just as helpful in-person! On our wedding night, he made sure to check in and guide us through the big moments. He truly wanted to make sure our day went as planned! Our guests are still talking about how great the music was. I remember leaving our reception and a friend sharing, “this was the best music, hands down.” Our dance floor was never empty! They matched our guests’ energy and we could not be any happier! We also used their photo booth services! We loved the props, instant pictures, and the add-on book!! We can’t get over the quality of the pictures and how much fun it was. easy, honest and FUN as possible. To start, there was zero pressure when booking. They were honest and open about what they could offer and how they could make our wedding dreams come true. They listened every step of the way throughout planning to ensure we were having fun, not stressed and that every detail was taken care of. You could tell how passionate they are about their work and how excited they were to be apart of our day. The day of, as the bride, I didn’t have to think once about our timeline, music choices or really anything because their team had it covered. The dance floor was everything I had dreamed my wedding would be. The photo booth was the best photo booth any of our guests had seen. Again, just absolute professionalism and FUN from start to finish. If I could give more than five stars I would. THANK YOU STARSHIELD!!!

use. The venue was amazing, stunning imagery especially when the sun lowered into the western sky.
Equally amazing, perhaps more so, was the entertainment. I hired Starshield Entertainment to provide the DJ services for the reception. I knew they would be good as my stepdaughter Sara also hired them for her wedding. But for my daughter’s wedding they seemed to go the extra mile. Kevin and Sully put on one helluva show. Both gentlemen were professional, gracious, funny, and did not disappoint. The guests all commented on how much they enjoyed the night of music and festivities, even the old folks. The photo booth was a big hit.
I highly recommend Starshield Entertainment to any venue that wants to add some fun and flair to their events, weddings or otherwise. On a scale of one to five they are an absolute ten.

The day of the wedding, he was super outgoing and kept us in the loop with everything. Not only did he do what we had expected, he went above and beyond. At one point, we noticed him pulling up a chair and chatting with several deaf guests like he had known them for years. (Rich was our emcee and a dj was taking care of the music so there was no interruption). We had the package which included the photobooth and that was a hit as well!
There was ZERO complaints from us as he had the whole place dancing nonstop. He and his staff were entertaining, super nice and respectful, and did everything we asked for AND MORE. If we were ever to use DJ services again, there would be NO discussion as these are the people to hire.

As a Type A planner, I LOVED the detailed questionnaire where I could outline my wants and share my ideas with them. Aside from curating the perfect music for a perfect day, Rich and his team provided excellent audio for our ceremony and cocktail hour.
