I recently had my wedding here at Starshine last year in November 2024, and I must say that besides marrying my soul mate, having the ceremony and reception here has been the second best decision that I made last year! For the price, location, and venue, scenic views, and amazing staff, this place really is a hidden gem. Eleny, our point of contact for the venue was impeccable, and was the final selling point for booking with Starshine. She was so communicative, not pushy (like the other venues we toured), and actively made sure we were all good to go on our special day, and leading up to it. Honestly, she made us feel like family, and as difficult as the planning phase was for our special day, her positive, and can do attitude made all the difference. Not to mention that the aesthetic is just immaculate with the modern rustic vibe, beautiful lake, and the cute little paid actor geese that live in the lake. If I had to do it all over again, my only regret was not booking with them first versus the exhausting hunt for venues leading up to our wedding.

Starshine Texas is a wedding venue located in Houston, TX. This eclectic estate brings the beauty and serenity of nature to Houston’s bustling atmosphere, creating a secret haven where you can celebrate your special day. Spread over 25 acres, it contains multitudes; you are invited to explore the three distinct sites where you can hold your unforgettable occasion. Starshine Texas caters to all tastes. On the property, you can choose to host a beach wedding, a ceremony in the courtyard, or rustic lodge celebration. The beach site features a lakeside area complete with sandy shores where you can exchange your vows. There are three Tiki huts where you can enjoy an intimate reception, as well as an authentic Tiki bar. Intimate affairs or elopements will find their place at this spectacular location. Alternatively, you can choose a classically romantic courtyard service. Here, your aisle is mapped out by a striking stonework path, leading you to a gazebo structure notable for its sculptures. This will create a memorable backdrop against which you can say, “I do”. Following this, you and your guests can enjoy a garden reception on the well-manicured lawn. You can also opt to hold your ceremony and reception in the lodge, a space characterized by its warm, rustic woodwork features. The open-plan layout allows plenty of room to celebrate your ceremony and reception with ease. There is also a porch where you and your guests can enjoy a cocktail hour, overlooking the tranquil views of the property. Starshine Texas offers a number of services to facilitate your perfect day. Included is a catalog of event rentals, such as tables, seating, linens, and sound equipment. You can also request the use of the property’s bar which includes a commercial ice machine, dual kegerator, and disposable barware. The place is nice within the city. However, their bar packages is crazy expensive and unreasonable. We want to have a friendly wedding with adults and kids, and they charged us cra...

zy amount of money for the bar even though the kids weren’t even using the bar. So they basically charged us $7 per chair that we used. Make sure you know what you’re getting into because the bar package is required now and they’re charging you $15 per person on top of venue fee. That is not including the alcohol.

Starshine Texas is the perfect name for this venue! We were lucky to find this hidden gem on our commute to work, never did we think we can find a venue inside Houston City Limits!...

Our guest as well as ourselves are grateful not having to make a long drive to enjoy the scenery of this gorgeous venue has to offer. Every corner was picture perfect! But the most important feature of the venue was the Starshine Texas team. Sarah was so sweet, respectful, detailed oriented, open minded, understanding, stress reliever, helpful, supportive, organized, on top of every detail. She made this wedding planning smooth sailing, having everything aligned and ready to go 2 weeks before the wedding, gave me and my husband time to enjoy the moments leading up to the big day. I cannot thank Sarah enough for making all my dreams come true and to life! From all my friends, family and the newlyweds, THANK YOU! events, and we booked as soon as we could! The Starshine team was amazing from the day we walked in for the Open House to even days after our wedding. Sarah was so understanding, flexible, patient, kind, easy to talk to, easy to reach, and I can honestly say she went above and beyond to make us feel 100% confident. Our photographers said we were the first wedding they had attended that was running on schedule, and I can honestly say that is thanks to Sarah. I only have great things to say. The venue was clean, comfortable, accessible, and absolutely stunning, our special day couldn’t have been more special. All of our guests fell in love with Starshine! How could they not, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
