We worked with Stephen for our wedding Asheville, NC this June and have nothing but great things to say. Stephen provided a pretty straight forward approach to getting a handle on...
the the music and over all vibe but ended up working with us to deliver even more than expected. Rather than providing a number of specific songs we provided examples of artists and allowed him to pick the tracks that would really round out the occasion. He did an excellent job at reading the room and was able to really deliver an excellent evening. He worked with us all of the way up to the last weekend as we continued for finalize details with over vendors and was very professional to work with.

Stephen was the best DJ for our wedding! Before even signing a contract with him, he reached out to schedule a phone call to ensure he would be a good fit for what we were looking ...
for in a DJ for the wedding. He was so collaborative during the wedding planning process and reached out several times to see if we had any questions. We didn’t have a day of coordinator for our wedding, so he was also so accepting to help us along the way during our day. He was so interactive with everyone and kept the party going the whole time during the reception. We had so many guests compliment our DJ! 10/10 recommend!
Stephen was absolutely amazing from the very start. He was one of the few vendors who suggested a phone call before booking to discuss the details and see if we would be a good fit...
. I appreciated this so much in a time when a lot of vendors only wanted to communicate via email. I had my wedding at a bit of a non-traditional venue and he not only took the time to really understand my vision for the day, but also called the venue before booking to make sure the setup would work.
The day of our wedding every aspect of the music was seamless. He was setup and ready to go at the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. An extra impressive feat because all three took place at separate locations at the venue. I would 100 percent recommend Stephen for any type of wedding or event. He was professional, flexible, an excellent communicator and on top of that you can tell he is truly passionate about what he does. I am so grateful we hired Stephen to be a part of our day!
Stephen was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better DJ. He helped coordinate the evening and definitely kept the party going. He was extremely intuitive about choos...

Stephen literally saved our reception! Due to delays in the meal preparation we had to pivot and reorder the reception timeline on the fly. Stephen took charge of that and made s...
ure that everything flowed flawlessly. He was extremely professional, great to work with, and brought tremendous energy to our event. I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for the best DJ experience possible!
Stephen recently did my wedding in the mountains of NC. We did not make his life easy by having our ceremony outdoors away from any electrical hookups for his equipment, and then h...
aving our reception a few hundred yards away in a outdoor patio area with an indoor area for eating. However, Stephen was able to figure out solutions so that he could create a beautiful ambiance for our ceremony, and have the patio ready for cocktail hour immediately after the reception. He even went and checked out the venue a few weeks before the wedding, without me asking him to, just so he could get a feel for the space. Stephen was incredibly detail oriented in helping us prepare for, and plan the order of events for the wedding day. He used all of our song requests within his own playlist and kept the dance floor packed for well over 2 hours. Furthermore, he sent me pictures and videos he had taken the next morning. Stephen truly went above and beyond in helping make our wedding the best day possible. I cannot overstate how much I recommend hiring Stephen for any event, but especially for a wedding DJ.
Stephen was a great DJ for our wedding reception. He had great communication throughout, was very flexible on the music we wanted and was a fair price. I would recommend him!

Definitely recommend. DJ Stephen was an excellent DJ! Without haven't to ask he came early, set up at two locations - the ceremony and reception, and everyone loved the music. They...
gave good advice on what to have as must plays and do not plays. Dancing was a highlight for us and all our guests... Even for my husband who said he didn't like dancing! I referenced a song in my vows, and Stephen played it at the perfect time. Many thanks to Stephen, and I highly recommend Startime Productions for your wedding!
Stephen is the BEST dj! Made our wedding truly the best day of our lives. He met with us and helped choose music we all love and kept everyone up and dancing for hours! We had him ...
host at a huge house we rented for all our guests. No big ballroom so he had to work harder to "set the scene." What an amazing job he did. Every square foot of that big house rocked that night! Thank you Stephen! I would recommend him to anyone! Guaranteed best DJ you could hire. 5 Stars and then some! THANK YOU for such a fantastic day!
Stephen was so awesome for our wedding! He was incredibly easy to work with before hand and made sure everything ran perfectly the day of. The reception was seamless thanks to his ...
scheduling and guidance. He gave us the exact vibe we wanted for dancing and for the reception, and truly we could not have asked for a better DJ! Our guests were raving to us after the wedding about how he was the best DJ they have ever experienced at a wedding. Definitely a 10/10 recommend from us! :)
