As soon as we got engaged, we knew we had to have Karol as our DJ. Our one desire was for our wedding to be a big party where everybody was having the best time. Karol effortlessly made that happen. Throughout the entire process, Karol was extremely detailed, walking us through everything. Whether it was our song selections, walking us through how everything was going to run, or his suggestions and recommendations, he was so thorough and gave us such a great understanding of the entire process. We hire Karol for our reception, the "Dancing on a Cloud" effect, music for our ceremony, and to hire a saxophonist for our cocktail our. The reception was the perfect party, which is entirely attributable to Karol. The "Dancing on a Cloud" effect for our first dance made for the most beautiful pictures as well. The saxophonist was such a cool and unique touch to our wedding as well! Lastly, the ceremony music was perfect, exactly how we discussed it with Karol! 2 months later, people are still talking about how much fun our wedding was and how beautiful the "Dancing on a Cloud" was! We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out and could not imagine hiring anybody other than Karol! We would 100% recommend him to any couple!

Hiring State of Mind for our wedding DJ absolutely *made* the night, we continue hearing about how great he was at keeping the party going from our guests months after the wedding! From the very first song, he knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy high. The music selection was perfect — a great mix of classic Polish and English hits, crowd favorites, and some fun surprises that got everyone on the dance floor. They were also super professional, seamlessly handling all the transitions and keeping things on schedule. If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to get the party going and keep it going, Karol is the one to call! Highly recommend to anyone!!

Karol was incredibly thorough in explaining everything from the get go. I have guests telling me that he did a great job and that it was an awesome mix of Polish and English. He absolutely killed it and kept the dance floor packed!

We had the absolute pleasure of hiring Karol as our DJ and MC for our family's first Polish-American wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! After reading his glowing reviews on theKot, we decided to take a chance, and to our surprise, he had our wedding date available! Given that he is typically booked a year or two in advance, this was an incredible stroke of luck, especially since we reached out just six months before our big day. Karol did an outstanding job seamlessly blending both Polish and English throughout the event, which truly made it special for all our guests. After the wedding, some family members reached out to me just to rave about how fantastic the DJ was! He not only kicked off the party with energy but also kept the momentum going, ensuring the dance floor was always packed with happy guests. What impressed us even more was his flexibility with a few last-minute additions we made on the day of the wedding. He is worth every penny! I was at an event 7 yrs ago, where Karol was the DJ and I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding one day. Once I got engaged I knew we needed to book him asap, as he books fast. We were ready to pick a date around his availability if need be. From day one until the wedding, Karol made the process so smooth and easy. He truly is a professional in what he does! Our guests are still raving about him! They loved all the games and said it was one of the most unique weddings they been to. He reads the room so well and navigates the balance of English/Polish music/mc-ing extremely well. He also communicated very well through the night to check in with us and make sure all was well. I believe one of the bigger parts of a wedding party is the music and that can make or break the evening. Our dance floor was never once empty and our guests loved the music so much we had to extend the night! We truly cannot thank Karol enough! We highly, highly, highly recommend him for your next event!

Karol is absolutely amazing! I knew he would be our wedding day DJ years before we got engaged because I've been to a few events where he was the DJ and I could see his incredible style. He was the first vendor I contacted after we picked our date, we didn't even have a venue yet or set up the ceremony at the church because I knew he books up fast! And there's a reason for that. His MC skills are awesome. Our wedding was Polish-American so I knew he'd be the perfect fit to announce in both languages. He kept the dancefloor filled and everyone had so much fun! He adapted to a surprise my bridesmaid booked for us, and when we needed to adjust the music language (more English songs than Polish because the guests who wanted to dance surprised us!), he did it without reservations. 100% recommend him and I suggest booking very fast because he goes quick!

From the very beginning, he was attentive to our needs and worked closely with us to create the perfect atmosphere. Karol is truly the best in the business and it was an absolute pleasure working with him! He had a plan for everything and he understands the flow of weddings very well. His ability to transition from English to Polish was amazing. He kept the party going and had excellent music choices! He answered all of our questions and concerns before the wedding and kept us up to speed during the party. We heard so many people at our wedding say how impressed they were with Karol.

Before we even got engaged, we knew we needed Karol to be our DJ. When he wasn't available on our original date, we moved it for him. Our friends and family thought we were insane to move our date for a DJ, but after our wedding they all said "We get it now. This guy is amazing." Our guests are still raving about the energy he brought to the dance floor and to the games. Moving our date for Karol is the best wedding decision we made!

I first met Karol in college. I unfortunately didn't keep in contact with him afterwards, but we remained connected on social media. I would come across his posts over the years and it was great to see his hobby/passion become a successful business. When it was time to plan our wedding, I knew I had to contact him to be our DJ. I'm very happy we made that decision because he was phenomenal. All our guests loved his energy and selection of songs. There was always someone on the dance floor. Karol is also very organized and personable. He was super easy to work with. I would highly recommend him and wish him/his business continued success in the future.

Our guests were talking about him after the wedding and we are so happy we decided to switch our wedding date in order to have him as our DJ. DJ State of Mind, please accept our huge THANK YOU for your spectacular performance as our wedding DJ. You were seriously above and beyond awesome! We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding reception such a great party! Your energy and your phenomenal playlist had us all dancing the night away without barely catching a breath. Some of our favorite memories of the night will be when we saw nearly all of our 240 guests dancing to Zorba, raving to Sandstorm, and racing each other to the musical chairs with items that made the crowd cry from laughter! Everyone was so engaged and still cannot stop talking about how amazing of a DJ you were! Karol was the best DJ for our Polish American wedding! We are so so so glad we were able to book him. Everyone was having so much fun and kept dancing that we had to extend the night! He catered to both the American and Polish guests seamlessly. We received so many good reviews of him from our guests after the wedding from both sides of the family. Not only did he do an amazing job DJing, but he also helped keep things so organized throughout the night. He checked in with us regularly and explained things so well. THE BEST DJ IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA! Highly highly recommend Karol for your wedding! He is the reason why everyone either stayed On the dance floor or kept coming back for more! I have been told by multiple friends and family members that our dance floor was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. Karol has an amazing energy that radiates to everyone. He recommended two games to us that I was hesitant to have at first, but so glad we had them because everyone was saying that was the best part! We laughed and danced all night long and we are recommending Karol to everyone we know! Thank you Karol for helping make our wedding the best day of our lives!!

Our Polish-American wedding was on June 11th and it wouldn’t have been a success without Karol there! He provided two services for us - the three person Polish folk band in the morning, and his DJ services in the evening, both of which were amazing! He kept the dance floor packed full from start to end and seamlessly MC’d in both English and Polish. My guests are still talking about how this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!! If you have the chance to book Karol for your event, do not hesitate to take it! In our community, State of Mind DJ is a hot commodity. When we were first planning our wedding and picking vendors it was no question that we NEEDED Karol to lead the night for us. He keeps open communication from the first phone call to the time leading up to wedding day, and goes over every last detail to make sure the night goes off without a hitch. We got SO many compliments on the music choices, games, and overall amazing vibe that Karol brought to our day. Karol brought out the perfect balance of Polish and English for the night, and it was a great opportunity to share our Polish culture with our American friends. He deserves way more than 5 stars!

My husband and I aren’t the most tech savy but we wanted to leave a review of our wedding from this last weekend for State of Mind to see. SERIOUSLY THE BEST Polish American DJ out there. We were truly blessed to have found him and he kept the dance floor loaded with family and friends, events and surprises going and made it simply so much fun. He truly blessed people with his line of work in being involved in and running the best days of their lives. He’s truly impacted ours and we will never forget how magical that day was. Working with Karol was so easy - he was very clear, professional and ready to answer questions. This support was invaluable when we were planning a wedding during a pandemic. Karol catered to our Polish/American guests and played all the songs we requested - even making time for a game, which was a big hit. Karol is an amazing dj and kept the party going all night long! From the first song to the last song people were on the dance floor all night. My husband is Polish and I am American and Karol did an excellent job entertaining the crowd in both Polish and English and transitioned from one language to the other and back flawlessly. State of Mind DJ was literally our favorite part of the wedding! We had a destination wedding as we are from California on September 1, 2019 and he made it as easy as possible being extremely available and handling everything over the phone or via email. Being as I am Polish and my husband is American, Karol did not disappoint either nationality as every single guest absolutely raved about the amazing job he did. He picked a perfect middle of music, wonderful words and enertainment for both sides to enjoy every single minute of. There was not one single person out of 140 that was sitting down during the wedding and, for that, we have State of Mind DJ to thank. We hesistate on having any events in California simply because we cannot imagine not having him as our DJ. Absolutely remarkable!

When we asked for DJ recommendations our Polish-American wedding almost everyone recommended Karol. Now we understand why! He is well-organized, professional, energetic, and adjusts the music to the crowd to keep everyone dancing through the night. We are pleased with his attention to details and him answering all our questions leading to the big day. Through his wedding questionnaire, he ensured all our expectations were met. We are particularly pleased with how he kept our wedding party organized for the introductions and how blew everyone away with his "shoely-wed" game. Many guests were raving about how much fun they had at our wedding reception. This means a lot especially coming from a family that traditionally has a band at wedding receptions. Now Karol can count on one more couple joining the DJ State of Mind recommendation team!

There aren’t enough great things that I can say about Karol, DJ State of Mind. When my husband and I got engaged last year, we knew right away that we wanted Karol. He is an extremely talented DJ who really listens to his customers and delivers with flying colors!!! Karol is extremely professional and personable; he reads the crowd throughout the event and really gets everyone up on their feet!!! We had people at our wedding who seriously never dance dancing all night!!! AM came around and people still wanted more! What’s even more amazing is that we still have people talking about how much FUN they had at our wedding and how great everything was, including the music! We can't express enough how glad we were to go with DJ Karol. We extensively looked for a Polish/American DJ that we liked and our research definitely paid off. Karol was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and transparent in our initial meeting. He walked us through the entire process, provided some recommendations, and was very direct with what his services entailed. What ultimately made us trust Karol was his confident/ upbeat personality, his ability to appeal to both of our needs, and of course his Facebook videos of high energy weddings! Leading up to the wedding Karol was very responsive to our requests. Even when an unforeseen circumstance came up (the Saxophone we booked had a family emergency), he worked tirelessly to find a suitable replacement to ensure our wedding vision was met. Side note- this was one of the BEST add on's we have ever seen at any wedding. If you're even half way thinking about it, definitely go for it. The day of can only be expressed as a dance marathon. The polish crowd, american crowd, old, young, and everyone in between was on their feet. As predicted, he truly knew how to get the crowd engaged and on their feet. Karol matched our vision perfectly. He listened to our requests throughout the process and was flexible to match. Thanks again State of Mind!

I never had any doubts about Karol and I'm so happy we went with him for our wedding day! He did a wonderful job. The dancefloor was never empty. He is so organized and made it easy for me to have fun without having to worry about what comes next and when to do it. We had our wedding over the weekend and Karol was our DJ for the night. There was not one song where the dance floor was empty. The party was always going! And everybody was having fun till the last minute. Scared of having a DJ that plays only heavy club music? No worries! The vast music selection Karol plays, you will find something for everyone. The venue closed and no one wanted to leave but kept asking for one more song! Karol will give you a night to remember. I would get phone calls from our guests the next day asking for his info. Don’t hesitate, hire State of Mind DJ!

I cannot say enough great things about Karol.
