I cannot say enough amazing things about Status Salon and their team! I'm so grateful to have stumbled across Status Salon and talked to JD in the months leading up to my wedding. I had reached out to several hair/makeup artists and not a single one was as kind, helpful and responsive as JD and her team. They took away all the questions marks that I had around the 'get ready' time of the wedding day and put my mind at ease. Sydney and Taylor did my hair and makeup trial and truly nailed it right off the bat, it made me feel so comfortable and excited for the actual day. On the wedding day, the team - Sydney, Taylor, Maddie and Shawna - were just the best. All of my bridesmaids have raved about how much they loved their hair and makeup, and how these four helped the energy in the get ready suite be even more fun. They truly just felt like part of the group. I highly recommend reaching out to Status Salon for your wedding, they made such a positive impact on our day and it would not have been the same without them! Plus - all of our hair and makeup looked fantastic, even at 1AM when the party finally wound down! :)

The team at Status Salon were absolutely perfect! Communication with JD was excellent and things were set up smoothly. In preparation for the day, we booked the studio space available at the salon and worked with Shawna and Sydney, who were the hair and makeup artists respectively, on the day of our event. It was an early start and the team was energized and ready to go as soon as we arrived. The bridesmaids and family members who also booked services were thrilled with their work and happy with their company. Both Shawna and Sydney took time with their clients to review photos and discuss changes to ensure that everyone was happy with the plan of action. Everyone was extremely happy with the results and had a lot of fun taking photos at the studio as well. Shawna and Sydney were also very receptive of the feedback that I provided after our hair and makeup trial. They continued to have other suggestions throughout the preparation which (I believe) improved the result even more. Sydney even took the time to try different false eyelashes to make sure that I loved them. Shawna is also amazing with arranging flowers. We were unable to try this during the trial but once they arrived the morning of the event, she masterfully placed them in my hair. The final result was even better than I could have imagined. We had so much fun working with the girls at Status Salon. The energy was at the max as soon as we started and did not fade throughout our time together. Shawna and Sydney are the sweetest and we were sad that it had to end. You’ll be in the best hands when working with any of the artists here.

JD & her team are outstanding to work with, and their hair/makeup results are amazing. We had originally scheduled a 2020 Covid wedding that we needed to reschedule multiple times, and their team was incredibly accommodating, patient, organized, prompt, and professional. Both of our stylists (JD and Morgan) did an amazing job on hair and makeup, and after my trial, they took my requests into account and made it exactly what I had hoped for. They are also so fun & the hype women we needed on my special day! One of the best decisions I made on vendors for my wedding day. They even do a complimentary blowout for brides that I used over 2 years later, and the team was as kind and welcoming as ever.

I had the most amazing time with Status Salon for both my trial & my wedding day! Shawna was my makeup artist and not only was she AMAZING, but the make-up did not budge. I'm talking 15+ hours of talking, laughing, drinking, eating and the only thing I had to touch up was my glossy balm. The women that work here are friendly, talented, and hilarious. Would hire again 100/10.

Status Salon was fantastic! Pearl did my bridal hair and makeup, and Taylor came out to help with hair and makeup for the other three bridesmaids and my mom and my mother-in-law. I was thrilled with my hair and makeup, and everyone else was very happy with their hair and makeup, too. Everyone in the group usually wore little to no makeup, and Pearl and Taylor did a great job with light, natural looks for everyone. I was especially impressed with how their makeup for my mom and mother-in-law -- it wasn't too much, and they both felt and looked beautiful. They were SO easy to work with (Elise was so responsive!) and they finished ahead of time and helped the day run smoothly. Highly recommend Status Salon!

I worked with Shawna and Taylor for my wedding. They created fantastic hairstyles for myself, 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. They were a joy to work with and their work was incredible! We all loved our final styles. The folks at Status were easy to work with regarding scheduling, contracts, etc., as well! Can't recommend the Status team enough.

The girls at Status were beyond amazing. They truly made me feel so comfortable along with my bridesmaids. Elise was so easy to communicate with and was quick to respond. JD and Shawna did my glam, and it was perfect! They truly listened and made me feel like me on my wedding day!

From the trial to the day of the wedding I felt pampered, special, and beautiful. Elise elevated my confidence and helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day. This salon had the sweetest most professional staff. The girls in charge of my hair and make up included me in decision making while still giving professional advice. My time spent in their chairs was relaxing and good conversation was had. No part of the process left me feeling uncomfortable at any point. I would highly recommend.

I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and these ladies were wonderful! They made all of us so beautiful and comfortable while working on us. Lindsey, Raelynn, Sydney and JD made consulted us on what we personally like in our hair and make up and then performed magic and made us all look amazing! These ladies were great! Raelynn made my makeup dreams come true! This was a new experience for me and she made me feel so comfortable in her chair. And Lindsey was the sweetest, she took grand ideas and made it into a masterpiece. The compliments alone were worth it.

This company is absolutely fantastic and makes everyone feel special. I was the maid of honor recently and was taken care of by Raelynn. She not only did the best makeup (for my face and coloring) that I have ever had, but was kind and an absolute joy to work with. I wear minimal makeup, and this process was quick and painless. I booked Status Salon for my wedding after they had done my make-up as a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding. I was SO happy they were available! I loved my make-up then, and I loved it on my big day. It was lovely working with everyone on the Status Team. They were very warm and knowledgeable, and everyone in my bridal party looked amazing on my wedding day! I felt like the most beautiful and natural version of myself.

Status Salon is the best! I just had my wedding this past weekend (August 14th) and Elise was my hair & makeup artist. She is such a wonderful artist and an amazing person. JD, Elise, and the Status team are incredible women with a keen eye for excellent details. For my wedding, each bridesmaid got their hair and makeup done, and separately, each pulled me aside and said, "WOW. I have always hated getting my makeup done, but these ladies are INCREDIBLE." The team at Status truly listens and lets you take the lead, resulting in hair and makeup that you can feel comfortable in, all day. They took extra care with my Matron of Honor, ensuring that her makeup was hypoallergenic and fit to her needs. JD even stayed after our ceremony to help me touch up (tears aplenty!) If you are looking for a professional, charismatic, and excellent hair and makeup team, look no further. THESE LADIES ARE AMAZING.

We were lucky enough to work directly with JD and it was a wonderful experience. JD was responsive and professional throughout our time working together. I booked Status Salon in mid 2019 and with the complications that came with COVID, they worked with me very easily to adjust our date and services needed. In the end, I had three hair and make up services and EVERY SINGLE one of us looked so beautiful. JD arrived early, was fun to hang out with on the day of and did the services exactly as requested. She was kind and helpful in providing recommendations for styles from an expert without being pushy or trying to change our minds. I could not recommend Status Salon more for your event needs!

Where do I even start?! JD was a DREAM to work with. I am sensitive to smells. First off, she only uses hypoallergenic makeup and when she put makeup on me, she would have me smell it first -- this was huge and allowed me to not have any reactions! I sent JD over pictures of my dream hair + makeup and she did them PERFECTLY. All of our us ladies understand how hard it is to color match foundations -- not to look orange or a weird color. JD did this perfectly. I seriously looked like myself but upgraded and felt like a million bucks. JD is seriously THE SWEETEST and FUNNIEST person too. What some people don't realize is that getting ready is a significant part of the wedding day and so the personality of your makeup + hair artist is extremely important. No worries here! JD is literally the funniest, nicest lady ever! She makes you feel like you are instant best friends, all while giving you the perfect hair + makeup. She kept checking in with me throughout the process to make sure every detail lived up to my expectations -- and wow did it! There were many details in the dream makeup picture I sent over that I didn't even know -- and she allowed me to say yes or no to each step. Also! I was getting ready during lunch and she somehow did my makeup + hair while I ate lunch. She was so encouraging to remind me to eat (a very important thing on your day!). Last but not least -- my mom wanted makeup with JD on the day of but she asked for it the day before my wedding. JD was able to squeeze my mom in after my maid of honor and I, and my mom LOVED her. I am forever grateful to JD. Also! In scheduling, I got to work with the incredible Elise and she is a serious gem as well. They are incredibly responsive in email and text. BOOK STATUS SALON NOW! You literally will not regret it -- you have no idea how talented these ladies are.

My hair looked beautiful on my wedding day, thanks to Maddie! After moving my wedding date twice due to Covid, I had to find a new hair stylist and Status Salon came highly recommended. Now I understand why! JD was great to work with initially by phone and email, and then I was put in touch with stylist Maddie. We communicated by FaceTime and text to create the look I was hoping for (using inspiration photos, descriptions, etc.), and she practiced on her hair doll and real clients since we couldn't have an in-person trial. So appreciated! Then it was great to work with her on my wedding day. She was so bubbly and sweet, professional, and very skilled. My updo looked fantastic! So beautiful! I am a wedding Florist and I have known JD and her phenomenal team for many years. When it was time for my wedding 3/16/20 in Santa Barbara I knew I had to reach out. I had AshMo as my hairstylist. She is fun, excited for you and has a huge amount of positive energy making you feel like the party is ready to start. She reviewed all of my images, placed the extensions in from Extensions by JD to give me all the volume and length needed for the style of updo I was hoping for. The morning of the wedding, she was so calm, focused and communicated the whole process of what she was doing. Her timing was impeccable so I never worried if I was on time. She saw things and reached out to correct them like my son's haircut and my mother's hair and wanted everything and everyone to look perfect for my day. DREAM TEAM!! JD is the most amazing person in the world to work with. She absolutely nailed it the first try at my hair and makeup trial. Then, come our wedding day she made me look and feel even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She really is a dream to work with and I'd recommend her and her team to anyone! In addition to JD we had her amazing partners, Elise and Morgan, there to assist. These ladies killed it! They were able to bring each and every one of my bridesmaids vision to life and not a single person left feeling like it wasn't quite what they wanted. I thought everyone (including our mom's) looked absolutely stunning! PLEASE hire the artists at Status Salon for your professional hair and makeup services! I cannot recommend JD and her fabulous team more. JD, Ashley, and Flo provided hair and makeup services to me, my mother, and my bridesmaids on my wedding day in August 2019. They traveled to our hotel in Walnut Creek and setup in my suite very creatively, despite the huge lack of natural lighting; we were able to use diffuse lights within the room and check everything in the one window we did have, before the party left for the venue. All three artists did stellar jobs ensuring we all looked and felt beautiful. Plus, they have the BEST taste in pre-wedding music :) I want to give a special shout-out to JD, the owner of the salon -- she is extremely talented, kind, and professional with her clients. During my trial run, I felt so comfortable and that I could be transparent about what I loved/hated about my look -- it was truly collaborative with JD. On the day of the wedding, she not only made me look like an enhanced (not Kardashian-ized) version of myself for my wedding, but she was also attentive to me person-to-person -- I'm sure she has seen all kinds of pre-wedding emotions, and I cannot say enough how much I appreciated her empathy with my mixture of excitement and nervousness. In short, Status Salon is fabulous and I highly recommend this team for any hair or makeup services needed!

JD and Raelynn did my hair and makeup respectively and I can honestly say I have never looked better. From the beginning, JD was very open and clear about about the details regarding consultation, booking etc. Our event was during the July 4 weekend when things get busy and booked up in advance. But JD accommodated my last minute demand of adding two additional hair services. On the day of, they came early to set up and were very good with their time management. While I was quite nervous about the event in general, JD and Raelynn helped me relax. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis and did not want a very heavy set makeup for the event as well. Raelynn respected that and did a very natural looking makeup that enhanced my best features. JD did my hair and made sure the bobby pins weren't hurting my head. I did a good thing of trusting their judgement when it came to doing my hair and makeup For my bridal party, the girls who were doing their own makeup, Raelynn even helped them out with the lashes and fixing eye makeup etc. At the end of the night, I not only got a lot of compliments but my hair and make up were intact even after plenty of tears and a night of crazy dancing. I would like to thank them both for making my day so special :)

I absolutely loved working with Status Salon for my August 2018 wedding! JD, Elise and Raelynn made me and my bridal party feel so beautiful! JD did my hair and Elise my makeup. I had a trial with both of them, as well. Raelynn did my bridesmaids and mother-in-law. Everyone looked stunning - these women are such talented artists! My mom had a number of questions about getting her makeup done given some skin issues. JD and Elise worked with her so kindly and patiently before the wedding to address her concerns. My mom looked so radiant on the wedding day, and I've never seen her feel so comfortable and confident! This meant so much to me. JD, Elise and Raelynn also had such calm, fun vibes. Exactly what I needed the morning of my wedding day! I can't wait to find another reason to book Status Salon again.

Thank you thank you thank you for bringing our wedding vision to life!! The Status team is extremely professional, yet so personable that they quickly became like family to us. The entire process from booking to our wedding day was so easy and accommodating. They flew across America to be a part of our wedding day! They were able to execute above and beyond what we asked for. For my rehearsal dinner, we had the team do hair for each of the bridesmaids as well as my hair + make up. We all looked STUNNING and had a little mini photo shoot before the dinner. The photos came out so perfect! On the wedding day, they conceptualized our vision and seamlessly executed the looks across all of the girls. As the bride, my hair and make up came out flawlessly. The girls even stayed around for touch ups throughout the evening. In moments where I was becoming nervous / anxious throughout the day, the girls were there to comfort me and give me a little pep talk. Not to mention, they are SO much fun! We will always be thankful for the Status Salon team, and I will definitely be booking them for all of my hair / make up needs in the future. Thank you so much!

My coworker had recommended Status to me for my wedding and I could not be more thankful! JD and Elise are two of the best. I ended up moving across the state before my wedding and JD was still able to make time for me in her busy schedule to do my trail the one weekend I was home and I am so grateful she did! I had a very vague idea of what I wanted makeup wise and JD took that idea and went above and beyond for both my trail and big day. My makeup looked so incredible both in person and in pictures, I got compliments all night. I also booked them for my bridal party girls too and they all looked so stunning . They each had different hair/makeup requests and Elise and JD really listened to what they wanted and made any adjustments the girls asked for. Besides being talented artists, JD and Elise are also the sweetest and really easy to talk to which is important when you are spending hours with them before your wedding! Can't thank them enough.

I planned my wedding at Wente in Livermore from the east coast. Choosing a hair and makeup artist was one of the vendors I was most nervous about given the distance until I spoke with JD. She is incredibly enthusiastic, warm, communicative, and professional. From our very first phone call, she put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable. She suggested that we schedule a beauty trial when I was next in the area and she was very accommodating with my travel schedule. Her knowledge and skill at the beauty trial were evident and made me (and my mom) super excited for the big day! I especially appreciated JD's hard work to order me the perfect hair pieces and to create the day-of timeline for all of my ladies' services. On the day of my wedding, JD and Raelynn were punctual, efficient, funny, and made each of us look amazing! All of my ladies loved chatting with them and joking around all day. I was thrilled with how well my hair and makeup held up through photos and dancing. I can't recommend JD and her team strongly enough. Thank you!

Where do I even begin with my experience with JD and her style team? Everything was PERFECT. There is no other way to describe it! JD worked with me to get everything booked incredibly quickly, was communicative as we finalized the contract and payments, assisted me with the day of timeline and schedule for all of my girls' services, and above all else made each and every one of us look INCREDIBLE. JD & Samie arrived exactly on time the morning of, were set up super quickly (and very tolerant of my barking puppy!), and were so flexible in listening to each girls' desired style and making it happen. We also just had the best time chatting with them and joking around all day! I have never seen all of my girlfriends so happy with their hair and makeup! Personally, my makeup held up through hours of photos and even more hours of dancing- my face still looked pretty dang good when I was heading to bed late in the morning hours! No one can go wrong with JD and her team for their wedding day. :)

What can I say...JD and Elise were the BEST! If you have a wedding or special event that you need to have your hair and/or makeup done for, you want these girls on your side. They were so easy to work with and made my entire bridal party, including me (the bride) feel the most beautiful we have ever felt! SERIOUSLY...I don't think I have ever work with a hair and makeup artist that made me feel so gorgeous. They just knew what to do!

Couldn’t have asked for a better team than JD and Kathryn with Status Salon! They both are truly talented (but also so fun!) and there isn’t anyone else that I would trust to do my hair/makeup on my wedding day. We have even had guests (future brides!) reach out to us after the wedding regarding who we used for hair and makeup- I will never hesitate to recommend them!! JD (owner) and Elise did an AMAZING job with me and my girls! JD was incredibly helpful and friendly from the beginning, as I'm indecisive and had two hair trials. JD was so great and I'd highly recommend Status Salon!

We had Elise and Flo as our hair and makeup girls for my wedding and they were amazing to work with! My initial correspondence was was JD, the owner of the salon, and she was so helpful in answering all of my questions that ultimately led to my selection of her and her team for my wedding. I had my trial run with Elise and she made sure to stick to my vision of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. She created a beautiful up-do for me (I wanted to make sure the lace back to my dress was visible) and the makeup was a very natural look, but fancy enough for a wedding, which was my goal. I also have never worn fake lashes before (as I already have pretty long lashes) but they were so comfortable to wear!! She told me by having the lashes on, it will really pop in photographs, which she ended up being 100% right!! On the day of Elise and Flo took great care of my bridesmaids and the moms. My mother in law even last minuet decided to get full makeup done, and the girls were happy to accommodate which I know made her feel special. Thank you again to the girls at Status Salon for making us feel beautiful!

What a wonderful experience my daughter, her bridesmaids and I had with JD. As MOB, I too had my hair done by JD. What a beautiful job she did! It is just amazing what she can do with hair! My hair is fine and shoulder length, yet I wanted volume in the back for a messy up-do. That I received! Just loved the way she made me look like I had a lot more hair than I did!!! The up-do was perfect! Just what I wanted from the pictures I showed her. My daughter's hair was absolutely gorgeous! I was so pleased with everyone's hair she did! I can't say enough on the beautiful job she does!

Elise did my makeup for my wedding day and she was fantastic. Communicative, punctual, and ahead of schedule! Her positive and calm energy are essential during the craziness of getting ready. She did additional lashes and makeup that wasn't scheduled prior and did so willingly. JD who runs the business was so easy to work with. Her email responses were so prompt and it make scheduling with them a no brainer. I would recommend them to anyone and have had several friends use them for their weddings as well!!

JD traveled to our wedding this past July at Twenty Mile House in Graeagle, CA to provide hair & make-up services for my rehearsal and wedding. JD went above and beyond during my trial to ensure we perfected my desired bridal look. I don't think I could have managed without her during my rehearsal and wedding. I have never been one to experience much stress or anxiety, but when the wedding festivities rolled around, I found myself having my first anxiety attack! JD was able to calm me down and did all of my make-up while I laid in bed cuddled under the covers! I just received all my professional wedding pictures and I love the way I looked in all of them. JD made me feel happy and beautiful on my wedding day and I'm so thankful for all she did!

Wow, where to begin. Choosing Status Salon for my wedding was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The woman who was supposed to do my hair and make up cancelled on me so I was frantically contacting different stylists before I spoke with JD at Status Salon. She was unavailable on my wedding date but assured me that she would find the right stylists on her team to get me ready for my big day. I don't wear much make up, and I'm useless when it comes to styling my own hair, but I was also incredibly picky about how I wanted to look on my wedding day. When I met with Sammy and Elise for my trial run, they immediately put me at ease. First of all, they are so welcoming and sweet, and they genuinely make you feel special and beautiful. I showed them some photos from Pinterest to give them an idea of what I was looking for. Elise used the photos as inspiration but created her own unique style which turned out exactly how I wanted it. It was absolutely perfect. The same can be said for Sammy and how my make up turned out. I just gave her a couple general instructions as to what I wanted. She did her thing and again, it was exactly what I wanted. A trial run is supposed to be where you tweak your hair and make up and give them suggestions as to what you want changed. That was not necessary at all with Sammy and Elise. They nailed it on the first run. It goes without saying that everything was just as perfect on the day itself. They styled myself as well as my mom and bridesmaids and everyone looked absolutely stunning. I've truly never felt more beautiful in my life, and I cannot thank Sammy, Elise, and Status Salon enough for doing such a beautiful job. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I will certainly use them again if I'm ever in need of professional hair and make up.

JD is amazing! I had my hairstylist from my hometown do my hair, but JD and Jill did makeup for me and wedding party and hair for everyone else. My makeup lasted all day, and JD carefully took into consideration the fact that I wanted to look special but at the same time was the most comfortable with a more natural look. Hair and makeup for everyone else also looked wonderful, and my seasoned bridesmaids all talked about how it was the best hair & makeup they'd had at any wedding before. Beyond her skill, JD was an amazing presence to have on your wedding morning; relaxing & calming yet fun. She was also extremely flexible with last minute changes and even gave me their lipgloss when I realized I forgot to get any. The most important thing you can do when getting married is surround yourself with good vendors, and I couldn't have been happier with my decision to have JD there.

JD was one of my favorite vendors to work with. She was very organized and professional. I had an idea of what I wanted for my hair/makeup, but I was always open to ideas. JD gave me some ideas and I was really impressed with what how my makeup looked after the trial. On the wedding day, JD did my makeup and hair just liked we had talked about. I felt beautiful and got many compliments. She also worked with her assistant to do the hair and makeup for my three bridesmaids. All the girls looked gorgeous and they were so happy with how it all turned out. She was very flexible when I wanted to add my mom to the makeup list last minute. She fit her right in and my mom was pleased with how her makeup turned out. I would highly recommend JD and her team for your wedding day.

Not only is JD professional and kind, her work product is simply amazing! JD took the inspiration photos that I had picked out and completely blew my expectations out of the water. The hairstyle that JD created was better than the inspiration photos that I had collected! I am so excited for my hair and makeup for the wedding, as I know it will be nothing shy of perfection. JD with Status Salon was absolutely amazing! Like most brides, at our trial appointment I didn't know exactly what I wanted. She was able to take everything I liked from several pictures and turn it into the perfect hair style for my Wedding! We talked on various occasions leading up to my wedding day which assured me everything was going to be perfect! On my wedding day she was so much fun to get ready with and made sure I looked perfect! Rachael impressed me so much with my hair and makeup. Normally I would go with a separate hair and makeup artist but she wowed me with both...such amazing talent. Wedding days can be stressful but Rachael so was kind and comforting. I don't think I could have done it without her. I can't thank her enough for helping make me feel so beautiful on my wedding day.

JD was kind enough to come to Alaska for my wedding. She was very accommodating and did her best to make sure my day was amazing. She styled all the girls hair and they looked great! She did my hair and make-up as well exactly the way I envisioned. JD was even able to bring beautiful extensions that I'm not sure I could have gotten in Alaska. If I ever get re-married she will be the first on my list to call! ;) Joking aside I would not recommend anyone else but JD for your special day.

I had such an awesome experience having Kelly Huntze do my makeup! She was so professional and friendly! I don't usually like having my makeup done but she made it such a positive experience. I will definitely be using Status Salon for future events!

Kelly and JD made me look and feel so pretty for my daughter's wedding. Kelly is a very talented makeup artist and JD is just as talented with hair and makeup. I have never seen my daughter and her bridal party look so beautiful. They were so pleasant to have in the room getting every one ready. They were both so sweet and professional. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup at all but they made me feel stunning as well. Kelly airbrushed my foundation smoothly and evenly and JD did a fantastic job with the rest of my makeup, it was natural and youthful looking just what I wanted. It lasted throughout the wedding and reception and I received many compliments through the evening. I felt exactly how the mother of the bride wants to feel, simply exquisite! Thank you so much ladies, my daughters and I have never felt more beautiful in our lives.

Kelly Ketner is amazing! I've had my makeup done a handful of times over the years, and hands down she is one of my favorites! I've gone to her 3 times now and she doesn't disappoint :)

I worked with Kelly Ketner! She was amazing and perfect for what we needed! She came to my sisters home and did mine & my sisters make-up for a family wedding. She really knows what she's doing and gave us several tips while she was working. She's a joy to be around! Very polite and funny! She did a fantastic job on both of us! I am so incredibly happy I chose Staus Salon to help me and my family get ready for my big day! I had contemplated on going with a different with a different vendor butt after my trial with JD I was sold! JD made me, my mom, and my sisters feel so beautiful. Everyone was so happy with their end result, JD even went above and beyond her call of duty! I had a very do it yourself wedding and hadn't gotten all my place cards done so she busted out the rest while I was putting on my wedding dress. Simply AMAZING! I'm just the sister of the bride but was honored to be the Maid of Honor! Rachael of Status Salon spearheaded the hair and makeup for my Tahoe wedding.  She did such an amazing job.  For my outdoor, rustic themed event, I wanted a natural and subtle look and I think that sometimes it’s hard to do for a wedding.  I mean, these pictures are supposed to last forever!  Rachael was warm and professional, really listened to me and took time to understand the overall feel of the wedding.  My makeup was so stunning, glamourous and natural!  I looked like the most gorgeous version of myself through all the pictures, the reception and into the night.  She also came up with a beautiful hairstyle that easily transitioned from an artful, loose chignon for the ceremony to a soft and romantic half-up half-down look for the reception.  I highly recommend this team, they are the absolute best!!

I had the privilege of working with the lovely ladies of Status Salon for my sisters wedding this past year. As the Maid of Honor, and the sister of the bride, I of course wanted everything to be perfect for her, and trusting someone to beautify you on the big day can be nerve wracking. Enter the ladies. Right away, I could see how calm my sister was. She had had trials before, and had been pleased, but of course we were all a little nervous about things going off without a hitch on the big day. They were super professional, helped to keep the mood light and comfortable. It’s the quickest and most relaxed i’ve ever seen a bridal party be able to get ready for a wedding before. And the hair and makeup was absolutely beautiful. I wear a lot of makeup, and like it done a certain way, so to communicate what I wanted to the girls could have been difficult. But they knew exactly what I was after, and delivered. For the entire bridal party, they did the same thing. We had someone who hardly ever wears makeup, they provided subtle beauty. My sister was absolutely stunning. The hair was equally as wonderful. Delicate, elegant, perfection. If you’re looking for true professionals, who will get the job done, without stressing you out, then look no further. I would hire them all again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny.

JD, Kathryn and the Status Salon team were phenomenal to work with on my wedding day. They did hair and make-up for myself and my wedding party, and we were all thrilled with the results! They went above and beyond, from helping me with my veil to staying later for a second look make-up and hairstyle change. They made sure we were happy, and close attention was paid to every detail.
