Staycation

We had the pleasure of having Staycation perform at our wedding, and they truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met Brian, the lead singer and band leader, we knew we were in good hands. Being married himself, he was very helpful and offered some great advice since they handled the whole evening from ceremony to reception. The band and DJ were professional throughout the entire process (even in the 96 degree sun). We have attended a few weddings where the DJ has messed up the music or microphones during the ceremony, and ours went flawlessly. On the dance floor, I called an audible to the band and they powered through without hesitation. We had given loose direction to the band since they already played what we wanted which is why we hired them - 90s/2000s pop rock. We didn’t want a traditional 9-piece wedding band, but a rock band that was going to bring the energy. Our guests raved about Staycation, with many commenting on how they were the highlight of the evening. Many found the acoustic cocktail hour in particular very awesome. Overall, Staycation crushed the performance, but also gave us peace of mind in a stressful process, and being able to trust Brian with the logistics and the planning was a relief. We look forward to seeing them again at a public performance down the road!

Staycation was one of the highlights of our wedding day! If you want your wedding to feel like a party, full of dancing, consider Staycation! They are amazing performers and it was so nice that they learned how to play our first dance song. Brian was also extremely easy to work with and made the whole process stress free. Can't wait to see Staycation perform again!

We had a small backyard wedding and Staycation set the perfect vibe! We had 3 of them for our setting. Our guests truly enjoyed the music over the cocktail hour (background acoustic music) and reception (modern pop/rock). Brian was very thoughtful and easy to work with over the whole process and he accommodated all our wishes even though big plan had changed in the middle of planning. Brian had told us that him and the band play weddings because they truly enjoy it and that sentiment was confirmed by seeing them play. We loved their sound and performance and would recommend to anyone. Truly thank you guys for being part of our special day!

Staycation was excellent! The band was so high energy and played such fun dance music. They really got everyone up on their feet and dancing! I couldn't have asked for a better performance at the reception. The ceremony was beautiful, and the selection of music at the cocktail hour was a great combination of our favorite music. You all really went above and beyond for us so thank you guys again!
