About this vendor
Staycation is a 5 piece wedding & club band based out of Philadelphia., Pennsylvania. We're a high-energy group that brings the party to every venue, playing everything from the standard wedding 'must plays', to 90s/00s hip-hop bangers, to the latest hits and everything in between. We also partner with a DJ, who joins us for all weddings.
Playing regularly at Xfinity Live! and various beach clubs, we're shifting our focus to play more weddings in 2023 and beyond. We're excited to meet with brides & grooms-to-be and talk about how we can do our part to truly make your wedding the best night ever for you and your guests.

A live band beats a DJ every time and we cannot recommend Staycation enough!! They bring a lot of energy and kept our dance floor full all night! They tailor their setlist to your ...
preferences and know what wedding guests want to hear. We have been to a lot of wedding where the dance floor is empty or full in waves, so we were extremely happy seeing our guests never leave!
We had the pleasure of having Staycation perform at our wedding, and they truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met Brian, the lead singer and band leader, we knew we...
were in good hands. Being married himself, he was very helpful and offered some great advice since they handled the whole evening from ceremony to reception.
The band and DJ were professional throughout the entire process (even in the 96 degree sun). We have attended a few weddings where the DJ has messed up the music or microphones during the ceremony, and ours went flawlessly. On the dance floor, I called an audible to the band and they powered through without hesitation. We had given loose direction to the band since they already played what we wanted which is why we hired them - 90s/2000s pop rock. We didn’t want a traditional 9-piece wedding band, but a rock band that was going to bring the energy.
Our guests raved about Staycation, with many commenting on how they were the highlight of the evening. Many found the acoustic cocktail hour in particular very awesome.
Overall, Staycation crushed the performance, but also gave us peace of mind in a stressful process, and being able to trust Brian with the logistics and the planning was a relief.
We look forward to seeing them again at a public performance down the road!
Staycation was one of the highlights of our wedding day! If you want your wedding to feel like a party, full of dancing, consider Staycation! They are amazing performers and it was...
so nice that they learned how to play our first dance song. Brian was also extremely easy to work with and made the whole process stress free. Can't wait to see Staycation perform again!
We had a small backyard wedding and Staycation set the perfect vibe! We had 3 of them for our setting. Our guests truly enjoyed the music over the cocktail hour (background acousti...
c music) and reception (modern pop/rock).
Brian was very thoughtful and easy to work with over the whole process and he accommodated all our wishes even though big plan had changed in the middle of planning. Brian had told us that him and the band play weddings because they truly enjoy it and that sentiment was confirmed by seeing them play. We loved their sound and performance and would recommend to anyone. Truly thank you guys for being part of our special day!

rformance at the reception. The ceremony was beautiful, and the selection of music at the cocktail hour was a great combination of our favorite music. You all really went above and beyond for us so thank you guys again!

So much fun! And they’re all so nice too.

actly what you want. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how amazing this band was.
Staycation elevated our wedding reception to the next level and we couldn't have had so much fun without them!!! Throughout the planning process, Brian was very responsive with son...
g choice questions and worked with us on couple special requests on songs and lightings. Staycation also works with a DJ, so we were able to do the first dance and fill the meal time with a DJ. Staycation had everyone including our parents and great aunts dancing until the end of reception. Would 100% recommend Staycation for weddings and we would book them again for our next big events!
