BEST DJ IN JACKSON HOLE! SteadyJake made our wedding perfect! He was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. He even edited a custom walkout song for us because the part we liked was too short for the walk. He made it work perfectly! We had a diverse crowd at our wedding but was still able to get everyone dancing! We had certain songs that we wanted played during the cocktail hour and dinner. Based on that, he was able to pick up on our vibe perfectly and build the rest of his playlist around those songs to create the exact atmosphere we were going for.

I found Jake online when first researching vendors for our destination wedding in Jackson and had a wonderful experience working with him. He's well connected in the community - not only did everyone have great things to say about him, but he recommended a few other vendors locally which were amazing as well. He's laid back and easy going and knows music regardless of genre - whether you want to leave direction fully in his hands or share playlists to guide the evening. We provided a sample playlist and input on the type of music / vibe we were going for and he nailed it! Having only chatted with Jake a few times prior to our wedding (we planned from a far), the night of felt like our best friend who knows us in and out was leading the show. We could not recommend him more and all of our guests have said the same.

After our wedding, we received so many compliments from guests on how great the music was! Jake really knows how to read a room and played a variety of music that all our guests could enjoy and dance to. He was able to create such a fun environment with the music selection from the cocktail hour, through dinner, and then of course on to dancing. He took guests song requests and was able to incorporate those songs at just the right moment. From our first phone call, I felt at ease by his professionalism and am so happy with our decision to book with Steady Jake.

Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!! I was hesitant to hire a DJ at first since 1. We were traveling to Wyoming all the way from Pennsylvania and 2. We were having a small intimate wedding ceremony and holding a dinner and small reception on a restaurant patio. He was quick to respond, answered all of our questions and even offered us suggestions since the space would be limited. We really wanted someone who was personable and can get our few guests on the dance floor, and he did just that! He was open to the type of music we wanted played and open to all song requests. Our guests complemented on the music and how much fun they had dancing - we even had guests that weren't with our party come up and start dancing with us because they just couldn't resist! Jake made our day so much more memorable!

Jake was an amazing DJ for our Jackson Hole wedding! He did an incredible job incorporating both my and my new husband's musical tastes into the playlist, all while reading the crowd and keeping the energy going all night. After my friend mentioned in his speech our shared love of Game of Thrones, Jake even played a bit of the theme song which was a huge crowd-pleaser and amazing memory of the night! All in all, we can't recommend Jake enough, he was kind to work with throughout the process and made our wedding day fly by seamlessly. We booked SteadyJake for our wedding in August ‘22 and let’s just say the stoke level was high! We were beyond pleased with our choice! SteadyJake ran the music for our cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception all while providing the exact ambiance we had in mind. He worked closely with my wife and I to understand our music preferences (as well as what we didn’t want!) to get a sense of the exact aesthetic we had in mind for our wedding and he absolutely nailed it. Not only were my wife and I happy about the music selection and ceremony, we had many wedding guests mention how great SteadyJake was in the following days (they are still talking about it a few months later). We had some pretty specific requests, especially when it came to our ceremony, that SteadyJake was happy to work with us on and accommodate. Music and entertainment is something my husband and I believe is "a make or break" at weddings and Dj Steady Jake did not disappoint!!! We had an intimate wedding of less than 40 people and we were nervous the dance floor would be empty but once the reception started, no one left it! Dj Jake was amazing to work with and always consistent with responding promptly to any questions prior to our wedding. He was very accommodating to all our music requests we had during the ceremony and cocktail hour; we had cover songs during our ceremony that he didn't previously have and made no fuss about finding and having everything the way we hoped. If we were to ever do another event in the Jackson area, Dj Steady Jake would be our first call! 10/10 recommend!!!

Jake was the best wedding DJ! We could not more highly recommend him. For him, it goes beyond the music at the wedding, he understands that his role is more like an emcee, directing people when to sit, stand, when to move to dinner, and the announcements for the grand march. It was so easy to coordinate the songs lists, as we made 2 playlists on spotify (one our favorites, and one our guest requests), so he could play the perfect amount of both during the reception! Where do we even start? Jake is absolutely amazing in every way. We couldn’t recommend him enough. HE IS THE BEST. Jake performed at our wedding welcome event at Diamond Cross Ranch and the party was a blast and PERFECT, thanks to Jake. Our guests are still talking about the event to this day. We wish we could do it all over again. Jake was incredibly easy and a pleasure to work with. Everything from the planning prior to the event, to the event itself, was a breeze. He made everything so seamless and easy and made it so we never had to stress. We always knew we were in great hands. He was enthusiastic about our music choices and vision for the night, and he knew exactly how to feel the vibe of the room and get everyone excited, enthusiastic, and on the dance floor. Great Dj. He was so flexible with our last-minute change of plans. He found unique ways to incorporate all of the guest’s sound request. He did well reading the room by changing songs when guests left the dance floor. He was always easy to contact and so accommodating.

We got married in a torrential downpour, outside unfortunately. Jake was beyond professional. He still set up,,still played until our agreed-upon contracted time even though half our party left well before the end of the party because of the weather. He was honest about what he needed, called me the day before to discuss anything that may be an issue and or what he could do to help make it breezier for us and was super supportive the entire time. I’ve had DJs for other events and he is definitely the best DJ I’ve ever hired and we will absolutely use him again!!!

Jake was the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception, and we couldn’t have been happier. He helped us select the music and gave us a checklist so we could note genres we like, must-play songs, and don’t-play songs. Jake always responded promptly and checked in periodically. We knew the entertainment was safe with him, and all of our other vendors highly recommended him as well. He did an amazing job the day of the wedding. Steady Jake was fantastic! From the first day we met him to the wedding, he was wonderful to work with. His calm demeanor helped call my nerves. His performance throughout the whole ceremony and reception was seamless, and everyone had the best of time. It was great to be able to share playlists with him, and he just used his experiences to make all of the music perfect. Sound was wonderful too- that is one thing you see go wrong with DJs.. is the feedback, reverberation or just off-tune music. You won’t get any of that with Jake! If I were to do the wedding all over again I would hire him! Here’s to maybe a 10 year renewal!!

Jake was absolutely incredible for our wedding at the Grand Targhee Resort. He was very responsive and flexible with all the curveballs that were thrown our way. Our wedding was first rescheduled from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID restrictions. He was able to switch dates with no issues. We had a live performer for the first dance and he was accommodating with set up to his sound system and making our first dance sound incredible and then being able to jump right into the father-daughter and mother-son dance with his system. We also had a hiccup with our photograph time due to weather and had to sneak away during the reception to finish this. He was able to keep guests entertained during this time and able to pick up our scheduled timeline as soon as we were done. He was able to read the room and play music that kept people on the dance floor. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Teton and surrounding areas.

Jake was incredible. Even though he had a TON of weddings he was very responsive and made sure I felt like our wedding was a top priority. After a handful of emails and one phone conversation, he made sure everything went off without any issues- he really does know what he is doing. Jake is a great DJ! He is very personable and knows that his job is a key component of your biggest day. You will not be disappointed. Jake also provided us multiple and extensive updates regarding local covid restrictions, etc in the months/ weeks ahead of our big day. We were coming from Another state, so it was so comforting to have somebody giving you the most accurate information.

Jake did our wedding last August at Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson. I cannot say enough good things about him. With not being from the area I had a difficult time finding someone but once I reached out to Jake I knew he was going to best in that area. Im very picky on my music and so I gave him a huge list of ideas of songs. He did an excellent job on playing what I selected and choosing his own songs to match my kind of music. Very easy to work with and very affordable. He kept everyone dancing all night. Highly recommend!

Where to start is really the question about how amazing Jake was as our DJ, 5 star and here is why. First off I had a wedding 100% planned before covid and still made our original wedding date happen which was 8/8/2020. First off communication and flexibility was the first strong point. Jake was open and will go DJ a socially distanced wedding and was flexible with moving the dates and refunding if needed. Next, HE MIX US A SONG for the father daughter dance. He took 10 seconds of 10 songs in order for us to complete a choreographed dance and had quick return. Our wedding was at Grand Targhee Resort and he was willing to travel. He coordinated with the wedding planner and set up was smooth. He was flexible for a last minute song idea during the ceremony. He has enough equipment for a ceremony and reception in two different areas. He was nice, fun, and friendly. He read off the vibe of our guests and asked if he could skip the slower songs on our must play list because we had a lively crew. All microphones were great and everyone could hear all of it (ceremony & speeches). He played all the must play songs we listed. It was simply perfect, he recovered us perfect for things I forgot to do such as give him a list of brides and groom to walk in for the reception. He was out of our way during set up and tear down. He knows how to set speakers up for the ceremony to make sure sound quality is great. Long story short for a DJ in teton county he was a wonderful deal (budget wise). So, if you’re not sold now then you didn’t read all of this. For me a good DJ was #1 most important and we hit a home run by having Jake. It’s hard to trust a stranger in this way so I hope this review helps.

He did the music and audio for our outdoor ceremony and was great with coordinating audio with our videographer. He was on time and thought of everything, so there were no issues with set-up. For the reception, he let me use some market-lights of his, very generous! Jake was a great help in moving the night along according to plan, announcing toasts and dances.
