on to life and did everything they could to make our flowers and centerpieces an absolute ten out of ten. Mary Ellen communicated with us every time there was an update and had no problem re-working even the smallest detail. Not to mention she drove 3 hours, one way, from southern Virginia to show us the centerpieces in person. The mother of the groom is experienced in floral arrangements and decor and was very impressed with Mary Ellen and her team - her florist friend was even impressed and tried to book Mary Ellen for a wedding later in 2022 but they were already booked. The highlight of their work was the flower installation above our head table at the reception and the decor on the head table and the geometric decor in front of the sweetheart table (which they had in-house without needing to rent). When the photos came in I was even surprised that to see that they put flowers in other places like the DJ booth, over by the picture frames, etc. It was a nice touch. It really could not have turned out better - we could not recommend Mary Ellen and her team more!! The pictures speak for themselves :)

The arch behind our sweetheart table was gorgeous, the centerpieces were stunning, our escort board/fireplace install/boutonnières/bouqets were flawless, and the ceiling installs were incredible. We literally would not have changed a thing. She knew the spaces and layouts of our venue so well and she knew how best to fit in it - she knew what was going to look like too much and what was going to fill up a space just perfectly. All of the flowers were fresh and beautiful and we even moved the smaller centerpieces up to our brunch for the tables for the next morning, they lasted so long! Emma and the rest of the Steelcut team absolutely nailed our vision and we couldn't be happier with everything that they did.

She also made suggestions (recommending dark fruit was a beautiful addition) that enhanced the design of the whole event. We also felt their prices were fair compared to other similar florists. As far as her execution for the wedding, every single thing that we asked for was perfect. My flowers ended up being my favorite part of the wedding decor as they centerpieces were packed full of gorgeous flowers. I would highly recommend SteelCut not only for their professionalism and gorgeous flower design but for their above and beyond service the day of the wedding. The team set up the flowers before the wedding perfectly to my vision, came back to flip some flower centerpieces to the reception area that were used during the ceremony, and came back after the wedding to clean everything up and pick up their rental flower stands. This was such a huge help to my family after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Steelcut Flower co!

it so so well!! Emma was so flexible and willing to run with whatever ideas we provided her - even at the last minute!! The day of the wedding I was absolutely stunned by the florals as were my guests!! I got so many compliments about how the florals just lit up the room!! The colors and the design were even better than I had imagined - I was just so so happy!! It was magical!! Can't recommend Steel Cut enough!!

I LOVE flowers so they were very important to me at the wedding and I had a moment after dinner to look at the ceremony site and tables and could not have been more impressed with how lush and vibrant everything was. vision board and gave great advice about how to decorate the backyard at large to keep it simple and elegant. I wanted local flowers and really didn't have that much specific to share except for colors and I was thrilled with what Mary Ellen came up with! The bouquets were gorgeous. She had lined the aisle with sunflower heads, which were perfect. She also incorporated our "upcycled" bottles and vases we already had for our centerpieces, supplementing with supplies that she had. It was really easy to work with Mary Ellen and I'd highly recommend Steel Cut!
