She listens in the sense that she truly wants feedback, and she is excellent at combining this feedback with what she knows is tried and true. She will direct you in the correct direction with her heaps of experience, and this really shows. She also gave me so many tips for the day of, expanding beyond just makeup and getting ready. What began as a nightmare when my original makeup artist flaked on me the morning of my engagement shoot turned into a total blessing. In my hunt for a new makeup artist, I found Stefanie and instantly knew she was the only option. She was sympathetic to my unforeseen scramble. And that sympathy came in handy again later when we had to reschedule our wedding date due to our venue double booking. Two things that could have been complete disasters were made totally manageable thanks to amazing vendors like Stefanie. I had nothing but confidence that she would be there for me when I needed her.
Now for her talent. I did a preview with her and I was thrilled. Somehow she exceeded my highest expectations. We went over styles I liked and didn't like, and then she worked her magic. I never knew I could simultaneously feel so glamorous and still feel so much like myself. I left that preview with sky-high confidence in my wedding day look. She also made some amazing makeup and skincare recommendations that I am still obsessed with.
Between my preview and wedding day, she was always reachable for tips and to answer any little questions I might have had. And as someone who loves a good plan, I was thrilled with her pre-wedding day communication and scheduling.
Finally, the big day. Everyone loved her work (she did makeup for nine women!!). My maid of honor had planned to do her own makeup, since she often does a better job on herself than professionals do. But when she saw how gorgeous Stefanie made everyone else look, she asked to be squeezed in at the end. Stefanie made sure she had the time and made my MOH look like an absolute stunner! Now my MOH and I want to go back to Stefanie for a makeup lesson together!
Everything about Stefanie is a pleasure. I have an amazing time when I'm in her chair. She's fun to talk to (so much so that sometimes I struggled to not laugh while I was supposed to be perfectly still). She effortlessly relates to whomever she's speaking with. She listens - which was extremely important with my mother who has skin allergies and often reacts poorly to makeup. Thanks to Stefanie, my mom's sensitive skin was happy and glowing! I knew this before based on my preview experience, but one of the things that I love most about her is that her approach is so individualized. She really takes the time to make sure she has the right products and approach for every face she touches.
Because of Stefanie, I can look back at my wedding day photos and see myself at the most beautiful I've ever felt. Spending the morning getting ready with her help put me in the perfect mood for my big day. It was light, it was fun, and it was beautiful. I'm so happy my planning process led me to her and that I still have her in my life now, six months later.
Extremely long story short... 11/10 would recommend! Hire Stefanie. It's the easiest wedding planning decision you will make.

From scheduling a wedding makeup preview to creating a time line for the day of so that she plans the appropriate amount time for the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom to the day of that was absolutely flawless from the time that she got there. She worked so well with the hairstylist and they both communicated seamlessly with each other’s time and did frequent check in’s to make sure they were on track. omeone that had worked with my photographer so that they both knew each other and that I could see how the makeup looked in the photographs. I scheduled my preview with Stefanie for my engagement photos and I had the best time! I had never gotten my makeup professionally done so I was nervous. I wanted a natural look but also to enhance my features. Needless to say, Stefanie did the most amazing job! I was obsessed with my makeup (and so was my fiancé at the time) and I never wanted to wash it off! For my wedding day she catered to my bridesmaid, maid of honor and my mom (who she also did a preview for, highly recommend that!) and made us all look and feel our absolute best. My bridesmaid and I are now wanting to schedule a makeup lesson with her and I plan on using Stefanie for anything I can in the future! warm, genuine and made me feel like a longtime friend the moment I sat down in her chair. I gave her little to no inspiration of what I wanted, yet at my trial she created a look that made me feel so beautiful. I felt completely comfortable sharing my random, indecisive thoughts during the trial and she applied those to my makeup the day of my wedding. The makeup was light, natural and I felt so comfortable in it- even in the fake lashes that I never wear. It lasted all night through smiles, dancing and a little sweat- leaving my face looking great up until the last pictures of the evening. I initially found Stefanie on Instagram where I was wowed by her "before and after" photos of not just glowing brides, but also MOG, MOB, and bridesmaids. Stefanie listened to my likes and dislikes, asked me what my usual makeup routine was, asked for photo inspiration, asked what my dress looked like, gave me suggestions for skincare products and gave the best wedding tips and tricks I'd never even thought about! Not only does Stefanie do wonders on making you look beautiful, she makes you FEEL beautiful.
I was silly and booked a trial with another makeup artist and instantly regretted it. Minutes into my 2nd trial, I was messaging Stefanie from the makeup chair and praying she still had our wedding date open! Thankfully she did and I booked her instantly. Her years of expertise, her warmth, professionalism, friendly and calm demeanor set her apart from the rest. This really showed on my wedding day when things weren't going as planned and Stefanie kindly reassured me, fixed my makeup after a massive cry, and acted as a sounding board as last minute decisions were made. I am eternally grateful for her support and wisdom!
She also offers makeup lessons and has you bring in your own makeup and has a whole list of her recommended items to complement what you already own. I learned so much from her and feel much more confident with my makeup application.

Not only does she has such a lovely personality (and is incredibly talented), but on the day of my wedding, my hairstylist canceled 30 min after she was supposed to arrive. Cue the tears... Without me even saying anything Stefanie leapt into action and started calling everyone she knew and was able to find someone within 30 min who did an incredible job. I am a complete novice when it comes to makeup but she held my hand through the process and discussed with me along the way my options and what she thought was best and the outcome was outstanding!
