I sent her our wedding packet back to her within a day of receiving it (July 10, 2024)—she forgot I had already sent it and asked me if I had been working on it in on March 10, 2025 and then sent a follow up email a minute later asking if there were actually any changes to the wedding packet I had already sent. An hour later I responded stating we were incorporating a surprise handshake (from The Parent Trap movie) before our first kiss as husband and wife which could be found on YouTube. She thanked me for the update 6 minutes later. On June 26, 2025 Stella emailed me asking to review the timeline, to which I responded with a couple of edits and she thanked me again. The day of the wedding there were issues almost from the start. Stella did not bring mics to set up for our ceremony as “we did not request them,” additionally, they are stressful to set up or something to that extent. Through communication with our coordinator, I was told it was our responsibility to request mics in advance for our wedding ceremony. I would have never expected this to be on the bride and groom as she markets herself as an all events DJ with professional wedding experience. This was also not mentioned anywhere in her wedding packet she sent us, or the brochure that is linked as “Wedding Package 2023” on her website. The biggest issue I had was she did not play our exit song at the ceremony—the one I had emailed her about on March 10, 2025, when she was supposed to. I stared at her for a good 5-10 seconds waiting for the song to start our handshake to the point where guests were saying “kiss!” So, we kissed and went on with our group photo and private cocktail hour where I was disappointed, frustrated and upset as I had planned this months in advance. Even if I had reiterated the handshake prior to the ceremony, the day of the wedding, I don’t know why Stella was waiting for us to kiss to begin the music in the first place. Stella stated she didn’t know what the handshake was and she did not know it was happening. I responded politely stating I had emailed her about it, but it was okay and that we would do it before our first dance instead. She let me know she was waiting for our officiant to give the cue to start the music. The rest of the night was okay. One guest requested a slow song—any slow song, and Stella replied she wasn’t sure what to play, to which my guest suggested to google something. Another guest requested a song and she played a remix instead of the original as Stella was not familiar with the song. The songs were not faded into each other to blend together from what I was told as well. I will say the one thing I was happy about was that Stella remembered my request to let me know when she would play Piano Man so that I could grab my harmonica to play along! That was a lovely moment that I’ll cherish. Overall, I would not recommend Stella for wedding events or ones that require attention to detail. My coordinator and I were met with excuses when problems arose with the biggest being the ceremony and the mics.

reat ones thrown in! We all enjoyed dancing to the playlist and they added to the fun by offering karaoke to all who were interested. A wonderful night was had by all!

x of music that kept people on the dance floor until the very end! Being the MC of my wedding, she kept everything running smoothly. The music during cocktail hour and dinner was at a perfect volume to allow people to talk without shouting over one another. I couldn't be happier about how our night went!!
