StemLine Creative was the only florist that was listed on both my venue and my photographer's preferred vendor list, and from the moment I met Ryan, I knew why he came so highly recommended! He was one of our favorite vendors to work with - Ryan is warm, kind, passionate about his craft, and beyond talented. He is a great listener who gives sound advice throughout his very collaborative process, and he truly made our vision come to life (even better than my wildest dreams). From my bouquet to our various centerpieces, his work was breathtakingly beautiful. It was such a pleasure to work with someone who is both so talented and caring.

Ryan & the Stemline Creative team is amazing! He was able to understand and execute our vision and make our venue look gorgeous. He gave wonderful suggestions for details we would never have considered but looked perfect for how we imagined our wedding. We couldn’t have been happier with Stemline! Ryan was super easy to work with; he took all of my random ideas and half-formed thoughts and created absolutely gorgeous arrangements for us. We had to push our wedding a couple times due to Covid, and he worked with us every step of the way, accommodating changes in date and venue and party size. We also had a pretty specific budget in mind for flowers and he respected that 100%. Highly recommend!

Five stars is truly not enough to describe the amazing work Ryan did for our wedding. As a postponed wedding couple, the wedding planning process became very stressful very quickly. On the day we went to the shop to see our sample centerpiece, all of the joy and excitement finally flooded back into the planning process. Ryan was not only energetic and excited to work with us, but the centerpiece was a work of art. He brought our vision to life and remained responsive and communicative all the way up to the wedding. Ryan decorated both our ceremony and reception spaces with so much attention to the details. Just before the doors opened for our guests, our wedding planner pulled us in to do a room look and both of our jaws dropped. It was all so stunning and so perfect. Ryan is just as kind and fun as he is talented and it was a joy to work with him!!

Ryan was great! My friends recommended him from their wedding. I sent him a photo of what I was thinking of and the color scheme and he nailed it! Flowers were delivered promptly and in beautiful condition and he was able to make a last minute addition for additional flowers for our cake.

I truly can not say enough good things about StemLine Creative and Ryan! He was able to give us dream décor for our wedding. We were originally scheduled to get married in April and had to move it to the fall. With all the changes due to COVID I feel like we had to update things every few weeks. Ryan was so helpful, accommodating and supportive during the whole ordeal. On the day of the wedding my sister-in-law tried to have him change something without my knowledge, Ryan handled it like a true professional and involved me in the discussion, making sure it was truly what I wanted and help back me up on our original plan and vision. I really appreciated that! All of the details were perfect and I would HIGHLY recommend StemLine, they were so helpful and easily worked within out budget.

We worked with Ryan at StemLine Creative and we loved our experience. The flowers were beautiful, and he nailed the look that we were going for. I loved going to his location and having our flower mock-up. It is fun to see what you talked about come to life and really gives you comfort in knowing what to expect on your big day! Planning a wedding during Covid-19 is stressful but Ryan was very transparent in his communications and he was flexible as our event changed and ended up being much smaller in scale than originally planned. Ryan, we do not know where your talent comes from, but boy you are gifted! We did check out other florists for our daughter’s wedding, and you were less expensive and more accommodating with us insisting that you need to see the venue the Genesee Theatre all the way in Waukegan, in order to get the right look for all of the centerpieces, etc. When that stage curtain opened it was the flowers that made it phenomenal! “You are a sweetheart Ryan, and we cannot let you and readers know how lucky we were to make the right choice in choosing Stemline to handle our flowers. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Ryan at Stemline Creative. I feel like our budget for florals was healthy, but certainly nothing super-extravagant, and Ryan made sure we really got a lot for our money. He was really flexible with any changes or additions we needed to make, and very responsive. We had an initial consultation with him in his studio, and let me say, the studio space is one thing that sets Ryan apart from the rest. You can see the vases, the votives, the candelabras, and all the other decor pieces that he uses to design the floral setups. Besides our initial consultation, we also had a table meeting closer to the day of the wedding where Ryan walked us through a few different table setups. We loved what he had done, and he even gave us a bouquet to take home with us that day. After the wedding, we sent flowers home with family and friends (and of course kept several arrangements for ourselves). They kept for almost two weeks! We are so happy with what he did at our venue and within our budget, and we highly recommend him.

My husband and I hired Ryan for our wedding and would highly recommend him to anyone that’s looking for a professional florist. From our initial meeting to the wedding day, Ryan was very responsive throughout the whole process. My husband and I got married last month and we worked with Ryan, at Stemline, for our florals and decor. We could not have chosen better!! Ryan was a dream to work with. He brought to life our vision exactly how we pictured, and he wasn't outrageously priced. We had a beautiful mixture of floral centerpieces and pillar candle collection centerpieces, as well as string lights over the dance floor, uplighting on the perimeter and candles on candles on candles! He even let us bring in some of our own candles/votives to help keep cost down. He was quick in responses and I never felt like I was in the dark about anything. Everything came together perfectly the day-of and we received so many compliments on how stunning the place looked. We pretty much had a blank slate to start with and he transformed the space into a elegant, cozy and romantic atmosphere with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and Stemline for ANY of your floral/decor/lighting needs!

We loved working with Ryan! Our flowers were everything we could have imagined. I wanted a specific ‘pineapple’ flower, that can be tough to get, and Ryan pulled through. He is creative, listens to your wants and needs and always has a beautiful creation that fits your vision. He is honest and helps you re purpose flowers from the church to the venue (they are too beautiful not to bring with to the venue). We also used table numbers through Ryan which were very elegant! Ryan dropped off our flowers, set up and came to pick up as well. We are so glad we got to work with Ryan, our flowers were gorgeous!

Ryan is a dream! He did an incredible job capturing our vision for the big day, and he did so within reason and not pushing our budget. What I love about Ryan and Stemline is their full service offering--not only do they do flowers, but they also do backdrops, draping, chuppahs, and various other ceremony/reception accessories. In addition, Ryan is SO QUICK to follow up on emails and easily adjusts to whatever change we had. We felt confident with Stemline throughout the entire process, and were overjoyed by the final product he delivered on our wedding day. Highly, highly recommended!

StemLine Creative did the flowers for my wedding in June of 2018 and did a wonderful job! We couldn't have been happier with how the flowers turned out, from the centerpieces to the bouquets, everything was perfect. The flowers were beautifully arranged and fresh; they stood up to hours of outdoor photos on a very hot day. Ryan is great to work with, he completely got the look I was going for right away and he was able to give suggestions within my budget, which I appreciated. Ryan has a great selection of vases and accessories too which can help to complete the look that you're going for. We also rented a pipe and drape which meant one less vendor to deal with for the day of. I would absolutely recommend working with Ryan at StemLine!

As a mother-of-the-bride with little patience for picking centerpieces and a lot of anxiety about the budget, I was beyond happy with StemLine Creative. Ryan Turner's combination of superb design taste, common sense and courtesy turned the process into a pleasure. He estimated accurately, adjusted to changes and made our daughter's wedding glow.

Ryan was the best to work with. Visiting his studio is a must, you know instantly you made the right choice. During my two meetings with him before the wedding, he listened carefully to everything we described and executed it beautifully. He is amazingly creative and worked hard to honor our budget. I would hire Ryan a million times over! He is so much more than a "florist". Ryan truly is an artist and has the most creative mind. After spending 5 minutes with Ryan I immediately connected with him and knew he was the only person I wanted to work with for my wedding floral and decor. I gave him a brief synopsis of the look/feel I was going for and he took those few words and ran with them. I could just see his creative mind going and he got up to pull sample vases, linens, etc. that perfectly matched what I wanted. Ryan is incredibly responsive and is always willing to tweak ideas as you move through the planning process. When I decided I wanted a giant flower wall Ryan said "not a problem, what colors are you thinking?" which turned into a wedding highlight people are still talking about months later :) The day of my wedding Ryan personally came and delivered my bouquet and managed the entire set up of the ceremony and room flip for the reception. He is organized, on-time but most importantly, he is a wonderful person! Did I mention he is the best?!

Ryan from StemLine Creative was the extra special touch that absolutely made our wedding evening special and exactly what we wanted. Many other florists told me that my request was too small or hit me with a minimum spend before even speaking to me, but not Ryan! He was extremely prompy and professional from day 1 and listened to exactly what I wanted. The flowers came out even better than I imagined and lasted well over a week according to guests to had taken some of our centerpieces home! His option to add setup of flowers/votives was especially appreciated, as I had peace of mind knowing that flowers/candles/votives would be setup exactly as we wanted and with his extra special touch. When I saw the venue, the flowers and entire room looked even more beautiful than I had imagined. He really made sure the flowers, candles, and ambiance were special and I'm convinced his special touch and vision completed the look we were going for. He is competitively priced but his attention to detail and service-minded attitude were unlike any other florist I had spoken to. I highly recommend!

My bouquet was spectacular and all of the floral arrangements were gorgeous. We received so many compliments from everyone on how beautiful, fresh and vibrant the flowers were. Ryan was SO much fun to work with. He has a very special gift, not only for design, but also has a genuine interest in making an event special. We were blown away when we saw the venue. Ryan, Dan and the rest of the team went above and beyond what we could have expected. Dan even built a special platform for our wedding cake, so that we could display flower petals underneath it. Ryan is the best! We came to him with a scattered vision of what we wanted our wedding to look like and he put all the pieces together and created something so incredible I get chills still looking at pictures!! He is truly an artist. He shows so much care and attention to detail with all of his designs. Wow! Working with Ryan was so easy and fun. My daughter had an idea of what she wanted for her wedding flowers and Ryan was able to turn that idea into a masterpiece. From the beautiful backdrop with cascading gladiolas, to the center pieces, to the bouquets carried by bridesmaids and bride - all were exquisite. We used Stemline Creative and Ryan for our June 2017 wedding. Ryan was recommended to us from our wedding planner, and he was great. Ryan was friendly, creative, responsive, easy to work with and came up with amazing floral arrangements/design for our wedding. I am not good with flowers and knowing what goes well together, so we left it up to Ryan on what would look good based on our color scheme. He did amazing! When I walked into the ceremony room on the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how beautiful and romantic the room felt. The floral arrangements on the tables and bouquets were beautiful as well. The only request I had was I didn't want the flowers to block people across the table and Ryan made sure the arrangements weren't too high. He knew our budget and stayed within the price point and suggested items that we didn't really need to spend extra money on, and re-purposed items from the ceremony and bouquets for the reception. I would definitely recommend working with Ryan and Stemline!

I am still in love with the floral that was a part of our wedding. Ryan is such a fun flower vender and made our vision of bold purples a reality. He added in soft candlelight so that the ceremony and reception could be as beautiful as we wanted. He even showed up early and came to the bridal suite where I was getting ready to show me my bouquet. I have a really sweet picture now of me in my bride robe getting ready just beaming at my flowers. The process of planning the floral and centerpieces felt so easy. He also did a preview of what our floral would look like a couple of months before the wedding so that we could make any adjustments needed. None were needed - it was all perfect. I highly recommend him. Even though the shop seems small, he effortlessly pulled off our bigger wedding at the Langham. Ryan is extraordinarily talented and you can tell that he loves what he does and wants to make your day everything you are hoping for. I could have asked for nothing more from our florist. Throughout the entire planning process, Ryan provided hands-on, personal attention and made me feel completely at ease. I was referred to Ryan from a friend of mine. My mother-in-law and I met him at his studio and he made us feel so welcome. He brought fresh flowers out to demonstrate some options of what the tables at our wedding could look like, all the while keeping our budget in mind. He didn't show us anything that he knew we didn't want to pay for and was extremely knowledgable about what flowers were in season and what made sense for us. After we had a final walk through with the venue, I decided that I wanted more candles than flowers because we realized it would be darker than we originally expected. Ryan was amazingly flexible and changed our contract. Everything that he told us he would do, he did x10! The bouquets were beautiful, the corsages looked fantastic, and the church and reception venue were utterly spectacular. I could not have been happier with the work that Ryan did for us! He made it so easy on me and was there any time I needed him!

I was referred to Stemline by my day of planner and was blown away. Ryan was a dream to work with, responded promptly, gave great recommendations and is patient, patient, patient! Ryan really nailed it with my vision for the floral during the ceremony and reception. My fiance was VERY picky about the flowers (bless his heart) and I actually had to do two mock ups/meetings with Ryan. The last one of these was completely last minute. Ryan was able to meet us on the weekend, go through a ton of iterations of candles etc and was so patient when we basically settled on what I had already chosen. The day of the wedding was wonderful, the bouquet was beautiful and our Chuppah was one of the most elegant ones I have seen (I am biased obviously). I had so many people comment on how lovely everything looked and am just thrilled with Ryan's work. I would 100% recommend him for any event. He truly is imaginative and brings your vision to life.

I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Stemline Creative. From the moment I contacted Ryan I knew he was going to be fun to work with. He was energetic and creative and had no comments about our budget, just willing to work with it. He was very responsive to our questions and just has a great eye for design. The bouquets and the centerpieces on the tables at our reception were just beautiful (each table was unique with an different arrangement of flowers and candles). We talked to three different florists before finding Ryan and he was a clear favorite from the get go. Price, attitude and creativity with Ryan were exactly what we were looking for. I had the pleasure of choosing Ryan and his Stemline Creative team to be my florists for our wedding (May 10, 2014). Ryan was the only meeting I had that made me excited about florals for our wedding. He was able to take my "here's what I think I want, but have little-to-no knowledge about flowers and decor" and create a look and scheme that was absolutely PERFECT and what I'd wanted.
