Stems Floral Design + Event Styling

pier with how my wedding day turned out! Not only is she incredible at what she does, but she also quickly became a friend to me and we had so much fun every meeting we had! When my mockup meeting had to shift to a virtual meeting because of bad weather, Cheryl went above and beyond to pick up and drop off my rental items from Premiere events so I could see the full vision. I couldn't be more grateful for her and highly recommend her and choosing stems for your big day!!!

et. Couldn’t recommend them more - the chuppah & tall centerpieces in particular were absolutely stunning!

was even engaged. I interviewed three florists total. The first gave me a poorly put together proposal that felt like a Pinterest dump with zero customization. The second was better but still felt like they just copied my palette without truly making it our own. I came in with inspiration, but I needed someone who could take that and turn it into something uniquely us. That is exactly what Cheryl did. Both my photographer and coordinator had recommended them, and the moment I met Cheryl I understood exactly why. She listened to every detail, asked the right questions, and came back with the most thorough, beautiful proposal and vision board I had ever seen. I remember opening the PDF and my jaw literally dropped. She did not just get my vision, she elevated it and made it completely ours. Our mockup meeting sealed the deal. Seeing it come together in person blew me away, and I ended up upgrading and adding nearly everything on my wishlist. Not a single regret. On the day of my bridal portraits, they were incredibly accommodating with my pickup time. And on our wedding day, everything Cheryl had proposed came to life exactly as she envisioned it. Lush greenery, soft whites, creamy roses, and those stunning pops of yellow and chartreuse that made the whole venue feel like a garden. My guests could not stop complimenting the florals. Honestly, I still open my wedding photos just to stare at them. If you are an Austin bride looking for a florist who truly listens, delivers beyond your expectations, and makes every dollar feel worth it, STEMS is your answer. Book Cheryl and do not look back.

so easily and her group made my daughter’s dream come true! I highly recommend Stems Floral.

as incredibly responsive and paid attention to all of the details, even the little ones. My wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her. Cheryl and the Stems team did an amazing job executing on wedding day. We had to move florals from the pre-ceremony cocktail location and the ceremony location to the reception tent and they made everything look seamless. Thank you so much to Cheryl and Stems for a day Kevin and I will never forget.

gh wonderful things about them!! And if you feel a little nervous on the day of DO NOT be, lean into your vendors talents and know that they got you! Cheryl and stems did this for us!!!

pictures, and biggest hopes for the day and achieve everything we imagined and more. We had deep, moody colors along with fun elements of fruit, velvet, and disco balls sprinkled throughout, and Natalie was able to create a perfect balance of making our reception feel timeless, elegant, and welcoming. She was very receptive to the feedback we had throughout the process while also being honest in answering our questions and listening to our doubts. Natalie also helped us connect with some of our other vendors to bring the whole atmosphere to life and tie all of the elements together accordingly, such as as our rented napkins, our dance floor, and our draping. She has a lot of knowledge of the industry and was able to give us tips on what vendors were most reliable and pleasant to work with and also guided us through what areas we could save money on because they wouldn’t be remembered in the long run (ex: gold vs silver silverware, chargers for the table settings, etc). We mentioned to her in our initial meeting what our desired budget range was, and she kept this in mind throughout the whole process to help us not break the bank. Since our wedding reception was held at Barr Mansion, STEMS was also able to coordinate easily with our venue manager and helped us pick pieces from Barr’s inventory that would fit our vision so we didn’t have to rent even more from outside vendors; the logistics between the sister companies was truly seamless and such a plus. Natalie and the STEMS team truly were the core part of executing our wedding aesthetic, and it would not have been as perfect as it was without them. Our only notes on the flowers were that first, I loved my mock bouquet created for my bridal portrait session and thought it was absolutely perfect. The flowers on the day of differed slightly and had a little too much lighter purple for my liking; I wish the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets aligned more closely to the colors in my mock bouquet. Second, some of the boutonnieres lost their shape and were quite droopy early on in the day. Overall, we still had a very positive experience, and I would recommend STEMS and Natalie to any bride, especially those getting married at Barr, who is looking for quality service. I didn’t realize how important my floral team would be in shaping the entire reception experience for my guests, and I would recommend them to brides who have a specific vision and are looking for some fairy godmothers to execute it above and beyond!

rstood the entire plan from our first call! Would recommend the Stems team to EVERYONE!!

was immaculate beyond compare. Five stars does not do them justice.  - Erin & Devon 2.13.26 wedding!

we found them and saw the way they execute floral artistry, we were completely sold. Their work is thoughtful, elevated, and truly special <3. The entire process felt very collaborative in the best way. There was a lot of back and forth around the vision, but it always felt exciting and productive, never overwhelming. They really listened, offered great ideas, and helped refine everything in a way that made the final result even better than we could have imagined. Cheryl at STEMS was truly the MVP of our wedding! She was phenomenal to work with, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better designer. She completely got our vision, executed it flawlessly, and was so organized and on top of everything that she was honestly a vendor we never had to worry about. We were genuinely sad knowing we wouldn’t be working with her anymore after the wedding haha, which really says everything. Her talent, care, and attention to detail made such a huge impact on our day. From head to toe, everything came out perfect, like seriously PERFECT! STEMS took our ideas and brought them to life in a way that felt intentional, cohesive, and completely us. We are beyond grateful for their talent, care, and attention to detail, and for the huge role they played in making our day so beautiful. We would 1000% recommend STEMS to anyone looking for florals and feel incredibly lucky to have worked with them!

e phone, knew I wanted to work with them. Their communication is excellent, and work closely with you to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. I had an 18 month long engagement, which gave me plenty of time to email them (a lot!) with my changing ideas, which didn't cause them to bat an eye once! She took my vision and created one of the most beautiful floral displays I could have ever dreamed of. I chose the A La Carte section for a 50 person wedding, which I worried wasn't enough but was more within my budget, and I'm so grateful I did. What they created was absolute perfection. I had such a lovely experience working with Stems, I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you Becca and Gabriella for making my dreams come true! I want to give an extra special shout out to their founder, as her daughter also runs a non-profit that will collect flower donations and deliver them to places like nursing homes and hospitals (Second Blooms), who repurposed my beautiful wedding flowers for good. brides - work with Stems!

me to life! She was very communicative from start to finish and kindly responded to all of the many questions I had. She was quick to update the vision board and budget proposal each time there was a change. Throughout the process, Hannah honored our budget and was honest about what realistically would fit in the budget. Stems so clearly captured what I had in mind and brought it to life, but better than I could have ever imagined. Hannah perfectly captured what I was dreaming of with my bouquet. I originally didn't have plans to preserve my bouquet, however, I could not part with it after the wedding night and decided to get it pressed. Stems is familiar with our venue, Barr Mansion, and Hannah had suggestions to perfectly utilize the spaces. I am beyond grateful we chose Stems for our wedding florals! Everyone is so accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. We felt in such great hands throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, I was speechless with the outcome of everything!! It was more beautiful than I could've ever dreamed. Stems was such a special part of our wedding day! I am so grateful for their team. I cannot recommend Stems enough for any floral needs!!

It was clear she truly wanted to understand our vision for the wedding and help bring it to life while staying within our budget. Her attention to detail was incredible, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. She created a gorgeous vision board based on our wedding colors and, during the walk-through, made sure to get our input on which blooms to keep or swap. On the wedding day, Hannah and her team absolutely surpassed our expectations. The flowers for the arch, tables, bouquets, and everything else were stunning—exactly what we had hoped for, and more. I would recommend Stems to anyone 1000x over. Thank you, Hannah, for making our wedding day even more beautiful!

removed ALL of the flowers the following day at 9am despite my wishes not to donate the flowers. I was devastated the next morning to see all of the flowers on the tree decorated so beautifully were removed. They brought back the centerpieces after I called and complained; however, the tree flowers were defined as "hardware" because it contained artificial flowers they needed to be returned. When I told them that I was going to destroy the dress and wanted the arrangement back I was told it was in "a million pieces." They would not return me the "million pieces" so I could have them to try to put back together. While I totally understand that real hardware such as the metal used for the centerpiece and candlesticks need to be returned immediately, I feel that I should have been explained that I would not be able to enjoy the costly flowers for even 24 hours.

when planning and decisions became overwhelming. We had an 18 month long engagement, and with this time came some changes to our vision - Hannah was so quick to come up with new boards and ideas, and was insanely patient with any and all changes that were made. We had planned on using a heavy amount of bougainvillea flowers, but with the dry summer, supplies were cut short. Hannah was quick with substitutions, and incorporated a few faux stems. She was able to save our vision, and we couldn't even tell that any of them were fake! I'll dream of our flowers forever! Thanks again Hannah for making this such a fun part of the wedding planning experience, and for nailing our vision on wedding day!

d my nerves and took my vision of bringing the “southern grandmother dinner party” to the rehearsal dinner. It was magnificent! The flowers were truly breathtaking and the staff at the venue even commented they had never seen anything like it. Thank you for being part of such a wonderful occasion. Katie T.

a custom floral workshop for me and my bridal party which was a memory I will treasure. I had such an amazing experience and would recommend Stems to any bride getting married in the Austin area.

y arranged, showcasing a perfect blend of colors, textures, and fragrances. Not only were the floral arrangements stunning, but working with Stems was an absolute pleasure. Their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. They took the time to listen to our feedback, making adjustments as needed to ensure that every detail was executed to perfection. Thank you to Abby and her team! They are simply the best in the business! 100% recommend!

gorgeous and they added so much beauty and interest to our photos and our reception space. I highly recommend Stems for your floral and decor needs!!

atest at expressing my visions in words but Hannah took the time to get to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it FLAWLESSLY. The florals at the wedding were simply amazing, thoughtfully distributed, fresh, and picture perfect. At our in person design meeting Hannah took the time to really go through all our options not only in terms of florals, but candles and other design elements of the wedding. She was always timely in her responses, keeping me on track as well. I never had to stress the entire time because she and the team were always on point. I have received so many complements already on the florals at the wedding and couldn't agree more with what all of my guests have said to me so far including "these are the most stunning wedding florals I have ever seen". Thank you so much to Stems and Hannah for helping to execute our dreams.

little intimidated by the floral process going into it, but it ended up being easy and fun thanks to Hannah. From the moment we met with her, she was extremely excited to partner with us and was fully committed to executing our vision. Hannah hosted us in-person at the Stems showroom where she took the time to get to know us as a couple, reviewed our vision for our wedding in detail, and asked us intentional questions to ensure that she fully understood our expectations for the big day. She subsequently turned around a Floral Package that was beautifully put together, reflected our vision PERFECTLY, and provided various options at different price points to allow us to be mindful of our budget. She was super responsive if we had questions, and she never made us feel like a bother. She even completed a mock-up of one of our dining tables for us months before our wedding, so that we could review and provide any feedback prior to the big day! We communicated our specific design concepts to Hannah, and she executed them all to perfection! Two things that really stood out to us were the arch that we got married under and the hanging floral installation that was designed by the Stems team. These items were STUNNING and completely exceeded our expectations! We also made it clear that we wanted TONS of candles, and that is exactly what we got! The day of the wedding, the Stems team was onsite working hard (in the hot weather) to set up our wedding just the way we wanted. The flowers they provided from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the signage were beautiful, high quality, and lasted throughout the night in the Texas heat! The Stems team is TALENTED beyond words. They are experienced, professional, detailed, flexible, and KIND. They genuinely want their clients to have the wedding of their dreams and will do anything in their power to make that happen. I truly cannot thank them enough. I would HIGHLY recommend Hannah and Stems, and I am hopeful to work with them again in the future!

clear that Sarah and the Stems team were extremely thoughtful in their ideas and recommendations, were receptive to feedback and really listened to what we envisioned for the wedding. Every question we had (and we had a lot) was answered quickly and thoroughly. And of course, most importantly, our flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Hand down, the show-stopping flowers were what everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about. Sarah even gave advice on the best way to hold the flowers to really show them off down the aisle. I cannot sing their praises enough. You will not regret booking with Stems.

process a delight. Throughout the multiple meetings and emails, especially when planning an ATX wedding from LA, Hannah didn't hesitate to help me however I needed and made the process easy and seamless as possible. She knew the exact vision I had in my head and made it come to life, from big to the tiniest details! All of our guests complimented us on how gorgeous all of our florals were, all thanks to Hannah and her team! I highly recommend Stems for any event where florals are needed. They really did an outstanding job and I'd gladly work with them again. xo

wedding such an unforgettable experience!! From our first meeting, Abby took the time to listen to our vision and offer suggestions to help bring it to life. She was so thoughtful throughout the process, and we knew from our first meeting that we were in incredible hands! On the day of the wedding, the flowers were absolutely breathtaking. Abby and her team created the most beautiful floral arrangements, and we received countless compliments from our guests. The bouquets, centerpieces, and chuppah were all stunning and perfectly captured the look and feel we were going for! We couldn't have been happier with Abby's work at Stems. She is a true artist who is passionate about what she does, and it shows in every arrangement she creates. We would highly recommend Abby and Stems to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated wedding florist. Thank you for helping to make our day so special!! <3

sion for the wedding and came up with a beautiful design. At the last minute, we needed to order extra florals. Sarah made this happen with no problems at all. I highly recommend Stems!

to listen to my ideas, make suggestions and recommendations, and bring my wedding vision to life. She was attentive every step of the way, from discussing initial ideas, to determining a rain plan design, thinking of ways to make the most impact with my budget, setting realistic expectations on cost/flower types/etc, hearing all of my concerns and addressing them appropriately. Her expertise was amazing and I wouldn't have been able to do it without her! I also trusted the team to surprise me with a few items on my wedding day - and they did not disappoint! One example is my cake display. Our flowers turned out absolutely stunning. To this day our guests are still talking about it! When I first saw the reception space completely finished, I couldn't help but cry at how beautiful everything was!

immediately trusted the quality of their work. It was also an absolute joy to work with Hannah throughout the process, she is so sweet and down to earth! Even when I altered my vision then ended up moving back closer to the original design (sorry, Hannah! :) she was so patient and skilled at offering guidance and translating my feedback. The church arrangements, personal bouquets, and reception decor all exceeded our expectations, and we received so many compliments from guests. I would recommend Stems and Hannah to any couple looking for a florist who takes care of every detail and creates magic!

ted. They also provided us a sample arrangement to look at before the wedding, which was really helpful. Stems was familiar with our venue at Barr Mansion, so they knew where to place things and if we had enough arrangements to decorate the place. We really appreciated their expertise! Additionally, we were originally supposed to get married in 2020 and had to postpone a couple times, but Nat and the Stems team were very flexible and understanding. We also had to make many changes to our original quote/plan since we downsized a couple times, but Nat was always very helpful and willing to make those changes. We highly recommend Nat and the Stems team, and can't thank them enough for the beautiful arrangements they provided at our wedding!

into an absolute wonderland. It was breathtaking and far beyond what I thought was even possible. Our guests are still talking to us about how gorgeous it was. If you're searching for a florist, just stop your search now and go with Stems. It will be one of the best decisions you'll make for your wedding! If I could rate more than 5 stars, I very easily would.

requirements, just asked for something bright, fun, and whimsical. The vision board she made me really set the tone for our entire wedding. We also ended up using her suggestions for rentals because they tied everything together perfectly. Sarah was so responsive throughout the entire planning process. You will not regret choosing Stems!

and she was communicative, helpful and just an all around bada** who nailed my vision. The little details the day of were just perfect and they even had drape rentals so I didn't have to use another rental company. Please use Stems, they are WORTH it.

furniture rentals, linen choices, and even the seating chart. The attention to detail at the wedding and the quality of the florals was a dream. I could not be more happy with the work they did.

hey brought my garden wedding dream to life with the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen. Thank you Abby, and the entire Stems team!

ally because I didn't have a pinterest board or anything; I literally texted her photos of what I "thought" we could do and tried to explain it. We went fairly minimal with flowers (bouquets were gorgeous) and pretty maximal with candles. By the time I showed up on the wedding day, the chuppah was already up, the candles, votives, green decor, bouquets and boutonnieres, everything was just there and ready to go. It was as good as anybody could ask for. The staircase leading to the ballroom, in particular, was beautiful. We probably had about 10 random hotel guests come to the stairs just to take their own pictures, it was hilarious. In short, working with Stems was exceptionally easy and pleasant, and the wedding looked like a fairy tale. Hire them and worry no more about flowers. Thank you Hannah!

stunning. Not only was everything executed excellently - but working with the ladies at Stems was such a wonderful experience - everyone was so friendly and kind. Thank you Abby and everyone at Stems for making our dream a reality - your work is absolute perfection.

mpliments on the flowers at the wedding. Thank you Abby and Stems for everything!

If you're planning a wedding, I would book Stems just a quickly as possible!

rlier this year taking out some of the flowers we had planned to use, Stems was able to create a gorgeous design that was perfectly in line with my vision. I absolutely recommend Stems to anybody wanting a fresh, contemporary look at their event!

tpone our wedding within days of our original date because it was the week that COVID hit the US, rather than throwing out the flowers we already had sitting in their fridge, they came to us to see if we were okay donating them to raise money for a charity of our choice. We raised over $2,000! When our day finally came, it was better than we could have imagined. Abby and the team made our vision come to life in a way that had us flooded with compliments! Book Stems! Their talent and heart for the Austin community is amazing ❤️
