We had deep, moody colors along with fun elements of fruit, velvet, and disco balls sprinkled throughout, and Natalie was able to create a perfect balance of making our reception feel timeless, elegant, and welcoming. She was very receptive to the feedback we had throughout the process while also being honest in answering our questions and listening to our doubts. Natalie also helped us connect with some of our other vendors to bring the whole atmosphere to life and tie all of the elements together accordingly, such as as our rented napkins, our dance floor, and our draping. She has a lot of knowledge of the industry and was able to give us tips on what vendors were most reliable and pleasant to work with and also guided us through what areas we could save money on because they wouldn’t be remembered in the long run (ex: gold vs silver silverware, chargers for the table settings, etc). We mentioned to her in our initial meeting what our desired budget range was, and she kept this in mind throughout the whole process to help us not break the bank. Since our wedding reception was held at Barr Mansion, STEMS was also able to coordinate easily with our venue manager and helped us pick pieces from Barr’s inventory that would fit our vision so we didn’t have to rent even more from outside vendors; the logistics between the sister companies was truly seamless and such a plus. Natalie and the STEMS team truly were the core part of executing our wedding aesthetic, and it would not have been as perfect as it was without them. Our only notes on the flowers were that first, I loved my mock bouquet created for my bridal portrait session and thought it was absolutely perfect. The flowers on the day of differed slightly and had a little too much lighter purple for my liking; I wish the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets aligned more closely to the colors in my mock bouquet. Second, some of the boutonnieres lost their shape and were quite droopy early on in the day. Overall, we still had a very positive experience, and I would recommend STEMS and Natalie to any bride, especially those getting married at Barr, who is looking for quality service. I didn’t realize how important my floral team would be in shaping the entire reception experience for my guests, and I would recommend them to brides who have a specific vision and are looking for some fairy godmothers to execute it above and beyond!

It was clear she truly wanted to understand our vision for the wedding and help bring it to life while staying within our budget. Her attention to detail was incredible, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. removed ALL of the flowers the following day at 9am despite my wishes not to donate the flowers. I was devastated the next morning to see all of the flowers on the tree decorated so beautifully were removed. They brought back the centerpieces after I called and complained; however, the tree flowers were defined as "hardware" because it contained artificial flowers they needed to be returned. When I told them that I was going to destroy the dress and wanted the arrangement back I was told it was in "a million pieces." They would not return me the "million pieces" so I could have them to try to put back together. While I totally understand that real hardware such as the metal used for the centerpiece and candlesticks need to be returned immediately, I feel that I should have been explained that I would not be able to enjoy the costly flowers for even 24 hours.

little intimidated by the floral process going into it, but it ended up being easy and fun thanks to Hannah. From the moment we met with her, she was extremely excited to partner with us and was fully committed to executing our vision. Hannah hosted us in-person at the Stems showroom where she took the time to get to know us as a couple, reviewed our vision for our wedding in detail, and asked us intentional questions to ensure that she fully understood our expectations for the big day. She subsequently turned around a Floral Package that was beautifully put together, reflected our vision PERFECTLY, and provided various options at different price points to allow us to be mindful of our budget. She was super responsive if we had questions, and she never made us feel like a bother. She even completed a mock-up of one of our dining tables for us months before our wedding, so that we could review and provide any feedback prior to the big day! We communicated our specific design concepts to Hannah, and she executed them all to perfection! Two things that really stood out to us were the arch that we got married under and the hanging floral installation that was designed by the Stems team. These items were STUNNING and completely exceeded our expectations! We also made it clear that we wanted TONS of candles, and that is exactly what we got! The day of the wedding, the Stems team was onsite working hard (in the hot weather) to set up our wedding just the way we wanted. The flowers they provided from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the signage were beautiful, high quality, and lasted throughout the night in the Texas heat! The Stems team is TALENTED beyond words. They are experienced, professional, detailed, flexible, and KIND. They genuinely want their clients to have the wedding of their dreams and will do anything in their power to make that happen. I truly cannot thank them enough. ally because I didn't have a pinterest board or anything; I literally texted her photos of what I "thought" we could do and tried to explain it. We went fairly minimal with flowers (bouquets were gorgeous) and pretty maximal with candles. By the time I showed up on the wedding day, the chuppah was already up, the candles, votives, green decor, bouquets and boutonnieres, everything was just there and ready to go. It was as good as anybody could ask for. The staircase leading to the ballroom, in particular, was beautiful. We probably had about 10 random hotel guests come to the stairs just to take their own pictures, it was hilarious. In short, working with Stems was exceptionally easy and pleasant, and the wedding looked like a fairy tale. Hire them and worry no more about flowers. Thank you Hannah!
