Stems Florist ... Wedding Flowers As Unique As You !

We used Stems for our wedding for rose petals to decorate the ceremony aisle, ceremony arbor floral piece, all centerpieces, cake flowers, boutonniere's, 9 bouquets, a lay flat box for our photographer and a toss bouquet I never saw. I will start by saying that the flowers were beautiful for the wedding. I love the arrangements and everything looked great. Great work on that part. However, the process to get there was horrible and picking stems was the most stressful part of wedding planning for me and I did everything myself without a wedding planner so that is saying something. The first appointment was great but after that Kim was very hard to work with. She told us she would reach out closer to the holidays to set up our second appointment when we would sign and pay the rest of our invoice. She never called and when I called in late December to check in she said that the rest of our invoice was still due in 2 days and we needed to sign even before our appointment when we would confirm everything. She then cancelled our second appointment and needed to reschedule which is understandable. However, she double booked herself for our rescheduled second appointment and then rushed us through it because of that and having another couple waiting. After our meeting, she sent me the updated proposal which had none of the changes we made. I had to go back and forth with her multiple times to get everything we talked about in the meeting added onto the proposal. It made me extremely nervous something was going to be forgotten or left out. She would sometimes take a week or two to respond to my email if at all. 4 months before our wedding, I asked her if we could move up the time of flower delivery on wedding day and never heard back ever on it, but I checked the proposal and the time was changed on there to what I asked so she received it. Right before 30 days, I noticed that she missed adding greenery around our centerpieces which she had even drawn for us to show what our centerpiece would look like during our first meeting. When I asked about it, we were told it was not included in the original price and would be additional. She told me to drop off the vases to her the Monday of wedding week and when I arrived during business hours, the shop was locked and closed. I had driven over 30 minutes and left work early to make it. I had to call her cell and she told me to leave my bud vases and my late moms headpiece which they were using parts of in my bouquet under an overhang in the rain in front of the shop. The day of, she was kind and kept showing me the work they were doing to make sure I was happy with it which I appreciate. They did forgot to put said greenery that we added and paid for around some of the centerpieces but she took care of it once I mentioned it. The work is beautiful but I was extremely stressed dealing with her and the awful communication. They did my sisters wedding and I was so disappointed we did not receive the same service they received after giving them both daughters in my family's business.

Kim was amazing to work with! She listened to our budget and my vision and brought everything to life beautifully! Kim was able to find the perfect lilac purple to use for our florals and even some filler to match! We originally planned on having the wedding outside and with an floral arbor arrangement. Unfortunately, weather in MO can go either way in March. The day before, Kim pivoted and came up with a new plan including pillars that I would have never envisioned and it was beautiful! She also didn't charge me for the rental of the pillars and gave us grace when we had forgotten some of the decor to return. I would recommend Kim and Stems Florist for all of your floral needs!

Kim has a wonderful eye. All the flowers looked amazing. And she went above and beyond by giving advice on how best to hold the flowers, helping distribute the flowers to the whole wedding party, and staying until the start of the ceremony. The candelabra centerpieces she made looked like they were out of a fairy tale.

Stems Florist is awesome! We sat with Kim and she made our vision come to life. She also worked with us to give us the look we wanted and still be able to stay within the budget. The day of the wedding she personally came herself and made sure everything is in order. I highly recommend!

I met with a few florists before meeting with Kim at Stems, but after meeting with her there was no question who we would go with! We were in complete AWE when we saw our reception flowers Kim created for us. I cannot stress how much we appreciated Kim's help throughout the planning process. The bridal bouquets were absolutely stunning as well!! I had mine shipped off to be permanently preserved because I loved it so much!

Stem Florist made our entire wedding day absolutely beautiful. Kim went above and beyond to help us with our wedding day throughout our entire engagement while being mindful of our budget. She was flexible with meeting with us as many times as we needed and during off-hours since we were traveling from out of town. Every time we met she would happily re-explain things and make any changes we thought of (which ended up being a lot)! When we did not know how to make a decision, she walked us through all the options and laid/drew everything out for us. Her background as an architect helped us set up our reception ballroom symmetrically & beautifully with the layout of Four Seasons. She also helped us with things outside floral decor such as table settings, aisle runners, candles, and linens. Kim corresponded with other vendors and our wedding coordinator without our prompt as well. She truly knew every family member and corresponded with my parents as well as my husband and I. On the wedding day Kim made our vision come to life beautifully. The ceremony and reception looked better than we could have ever dreamed. She also found all members of the wedding party without any need of direction and gave them bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. Kim went above and beyond in every way. We can not thank Stem Florist enough for everything they did to make our wedding vision come true!

We are so happy that we hired Stems Florist for our daughters wedding. Kim walked us through everything and helped us think of things we didn't even know we needed to think about! From boutonnières for high school dances to bouquets, table arrangements, arbor decorations, and more boutonnières for our wedding day, Stems has been there for it all! I never had a doubt that Kim and Joe would absolutely kill it for my wedding. Before my first meeting with Kim, I had no idea what I wanted for my bouquet or any decor, and she was extremely helpful through the whole process. I told her my wedding colors and she pulled together flowers so that I could visualize it better, which I greatly appreciate! She had worked at our venue before and had so many suggestions, with still working in our budget. On our wedding day, I was ecstatic to see everything come together! The bouquets and boutonnières were amazing, the arbor was beautiful, and the reception hall was absolutely breathtaking! It was incredible to say the least! We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. I can't thank Stems enough for making my wedding so beautiful!

Kim and the Stems team did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding! Kim is incredibly knowledgeable, creative, energetic and professional. They worked within our budget, took our inspiration, and gave us wonderful ideas of how to achieve our vision. They created an installation for our arbor (including amazing hanging buds which I never would have thought to do!), my bridal bouquet, centerpieces, and table greens for the card and dessert table. While the supply chain was an absolute mess during COVID, Kim was able to set our expectations about what types of flowers would be available and what we might be able to substitute to keep our vision even within the availability constraints. They were also very accommodating when - 3 months out from our date - we had to relocate our wedding and completely revamped our floral vision to suit the new venue. They are certainly a busy team so I'm glad we booked early!

Kim and her team did a fabulous job with my daughter's wedding. She found a deep burgundy rose which was absolutely gorgeous! We wanted elegant and romantic, and she really delivered! We shared our concepts and she turned them into a beautiful atmosphere both for the ceremony and the reception. Beautiful. Elegant. Simple. These are the words I described to Kim when I told her the "vibe" of my wedding. And she hit it on the head! The flowers were just gorgeous and she was so helpful and knowledgeable about the vision I had and which flowers would make that vision possible. There was a slight change in that one of the flowers initially chosen was not available for my wedding, however, the suggested replacement was seamless and probably better! I felt so confident that the flowers at my wedding were going to look beautiful! This is just what a bride needs - no stress! She has good reviews for a reason - she has the best flowers in St. Louis!

We love Stems and Kim! Her customer service was so far beyond what we expected. I had very specific flowers I wanted for our wedding, and Kim went above and beyond to get them, including finding a local source for lilacs when they were in very short supply. Her creativity and artistry were amazing! She took my inspiration photos and brought them to life, using her own expertise and flair. She was very familiar with our venue and knew exactly what would look best. 5 out of 5 for sure!

Stems is an amazing wedding vendor! They provided BEAUTIFUL bouquets for my cousin's 3/27/21 wedding. We all loved our flowers, but it wasn't the gorgeous flowers that made Stems stand out. When Kim arrived at the church with the flowers, the groomsmen were getting dressed and had just discovered that their vests did not fit and could not button. The ceremony was in 2 hours, and we were missing a major piece of wedding party attire and had no idea what to do. We called a couple stores but weren't having any luck. Kim could have easily said, "So sorry you all have a problem! Here's your boutonnieres for once you find some vests. Hope it works out!", and then left. She'd delivered the flowers and this wasn't her problem to fix. But that's not what she did. Kim knew the owner of a local formalwear store, so she immediately called him and asked if we could borrow 3 vests right away. The vests they had on hand had been reserved for another wedding the next weekend, so the shop was a bit hesitant to let them go with no formal rental agreement, but Kim talked them into letting us borrow the vests for the day. Kim absolutely saved the wedding and all the wedding party photos, and this was way outside her job description. She fixed a major disaster before the bride and mother of the bride even knew it was happening. Truly amazing customer service!!

Kim was the absolute best to work with and her flowers were exactly what I had hoped for plus more! We had 11 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen - a huge wedding party, which meant a lot of flowers. Stems did our wedding November 22nd 2019 and did an amazing job! Everything was easy and beautiful. Kim was able to create my vision when I didn’t even articulate perfectly what I was wanting. It was easy and they helped make our big day a breeze. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my flowers and wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Kim and the rest of the Stems team did a really amazing job with the floral arrangements for fall our wedding. I had a loose vision of what I wanted for our wedding and during my initial meeting with Kim I had little more than pages and pages of Pinterest inspirations, but Kim listened and was some how able to understand exactly what I wanted. I was a bit nervous just letting them make the decision based off of what I said I wanted..... but I shouldn’t have worried, the Stems team went above and beyond what we could have expected! They were also very accommodating about some last minute changes we made to the timeline for the day of and some unforeseen complications with the isle decor that they handled super professionally, and we got so many compliments on everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces, to the cake which Kim was able to work her magic the day of and add some fresh blooms even though we hadn’t discussed it prior!

Kim and her team did a fabulous job on my flowers for my wedding! She really brought my vision for a winter wedding with pine cones and lanterns to life. Even with a change in the reception venue, bad weather and having to help set up at the reception, they were so helpful and really made a bad situation easy and smooth. Really went above and beyond. I am glad that they stayed for a drink after it was all put together at the reception.

Go somewhere else! Prices are very very high. Wedding flowers were not what was discussed and paid for. The boutonnières were so small, they looked like a lint fleck in pictures. I was so upset, but did not want to discuss this with the vendor at the church on my daughters wedding day. The grandmothers wrist corsage fell apart and the flowers died after a few hours. Only positive comment, wedding reception centerpieces were beautiful. The flowers were as ordered.

Kim and her team really brought it for our flowers! Kim worked with me to stick within our small floral budget and delivered the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres for our fall wedding! Kim really knows some great tips and in our meetings shared a lot of great advice! I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

Kim and Joe are amazing...i did not know how beautiful a flower arrangement could be until Kim brought me my bridal bouquet. the colors and shapes that they were able to find were simply perfect. Kim created a stunning head table and filled our venue inside and out with details that were elegant and tasteful. Everything Stems did for us turned out even better than we had hoped. We are so thankful to have had them as part o our big day.

The flowers she selected were gorgeous, fresh and beautifully fragrant! The flowers were unique, the colors so vibrant and they were all arranged exactly as I wanted! They lasted a full week after our wedding so we enjoyed them at home, too! Kim also handled all of the decor for the wedding and reception, as well as the flowers and decor for the rehearsal dinner. We chose Stems for our daughter‘s summer wedding on July 5 th. We were so pleased at what an exquisite job they did! My daughter wanted different shades of pink’s. Kim was so innovative from the start and planned a beautiful elegant ambience of florals in the church as well as our reception site. The one thing we really appreciated was how Kim re-purposed our florals that were used at the church by incorporating them at the reception so this was helpful on the budget. From the beautiful high florals to the petals adorning the tables to the creative trio candleholders throughout - it was like a Cinderella wedding! Many of the parishioners at our church raved about how beautiful the florals looked on Sunday when they attended mass the day after. Oh boy where do we start? When I first saw our centerpieces, I wanted to cry. They absolutely NAILED my vision and I am so thankful that they worked with me on my special day. I absolutely cannot wait to receive professional photos to share--Stems worked with me to create not only those amazing curly willow centerpieces, but also perfect bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. Stems met with husband and I early on to talk about what we wanted. I am not into a lot of decorations, and I didn't want a ton of flowers because we were having a winter wedding. Stems helped me design our center pieces full of greenery, candles, and lanterns! Everything looked incredible and turned out just the way I wanted!

Jenny and Kim were great to work with! The first time I met Jenny she got me super excited about the flowers because of her obvious passion for what she does! I was planning on doing something simple with all my flowers because I knew they could get expensive and I wanted to stick to a budget. Jenny was able to come up with beautiful ideas and still stick to a reasonable budget. Kim was the one to deliver everything and set it all up and she did a wonderful job, everything turned out beautifully and was what I was imagining and more!

Our experience up until the day of our wedding was great. Kim seemed to really “get” what we were looking for in our florals-modern and sleek, deep rich colors. Kim was going to be there for pinning and the room flip; she told us multiple times. We never even met with anyone else but it didn’t matter to us because we had been assured multiple times that Kim would be there with us on our wedding day. Fast forward to our wedding day: we had flowers that were not what we ordered, Kim wasn’t present at any point in the day, the table arrangements that were to be small or large arrangements depending on table number were literally the same size (although priced differently). I’m not saying we had ugly flowers; they were pretty but they weren’t what we wanted. They would have been stunning in a rustic wedding. I wish I would have seen them before so I could have actually gotten what we ordered. We spent enough money to not be disappointed by florals like we were.

I had my wedding flowers done by Jenny and I cannot tell you how gorgeous they were. The flowers that she did for my arbor were beyond amazing! From start to finish my experience with Stems was great and I can't say enough good things. Kim was great with follow up and walking us through day of process and making sure my flowers lasted all day. if you have a special event or just need some gorgeous flowers please keep Stems in mind, they will do a great job!

Jenny at Stems Florist was a pleasure to work with. During our initial consultation she listened to my thoughts and went through all the different flower options with me and helped me bring a vague picture in the back of my head into life. She helped work with me on a budget and worked with me even when I changed my mind on the bridesmaids flowers and then later added in boutonnieres for the guys. I did bouquets and boutonnieres only, as my venue didn't need any extra decoration and this was no problem. They delivered the flowers on the morning of in excellent shape, and everything looked exactly as I had pictured it. I quite enjoyed the experience working with them, and would work with them again.

What can we say about Stems... or better yet, what CANT we say about Stems! We cant thank Jenny, Joe, and Kim enough for how beautiful they made our wedding! It was one of the most elegant, beautiful receptions we have EVER seen, hands down. Their vision is what sets them apart.... from creative and edgy, to classic and elegant, Jenny covered ALL of it and made this process unbelievably easy along the way! Nothing was off limits, adjustments were a snap, they set the room in NO time, and received so many compliments, we simply stopped counting! Over and over, our guests, Chandler Hill staff, our photographer, the band... they all kept telling us how in awe they were of their design... even the next day we heard more stories from staff still gushing over the room! Just stunning. We simply can’t reccomend or thank Stems enough for EVERYTHING... but we’ll sure try! PLEASE call them for your event, you will not be disappointed!

As soon as I sat down with Kim at Stem’s I knew we were going to use them for our wedding. I met with at least 5 other florists before Stem’s and none of them ever felt “right”. Kim’s passion and creativity shined through within the first five minutes. She was genuinely interested in our venue and came up with tons of great ideas. I simply showed them a couple photos of bouquets that I liked and they ran with the photos and created something even more stunning that I’d shown them. Throughout the planning process Stems made everything so easy. Anytime we sent an email they responded within a couple hours. They set up our venue beautifully and at the end of the reception Kim worked hard to ensure we got out of the venue on time. I cannot thank Stems enough. I know we will continue to use them for all of our floral needs in our future.

Stems is WONDERFUL! Working with Jenny was so easy. I knew that I wanted sunflowers and yellow roses in my bouquet, and she helped me craft the bridesmaid bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the center pieces to match perfectly.
