Steph is AMAZING! Wet met a few times prior to the wedding and Steph asked great questions and prepared with a detailed summary of what we hoped to capture on our wedding. The level of detail and number of photos we ended up with was beyond anything we could have dreamed! She easily captured every single person at our wedding at least twice. Her turnaround time was also incredible. The next day we received a very large sampling of photos from the night and all of our photos (almost 2,000) were shared with us within a month of our day. Steph photographed my brother’s wedding in 2013. My own wedding was not a thought at the time, but I knew I had already found my future wedding photographer. Forward to 2019 when I was planning my own wedding, and Steph was the first vendor I secured because I knew she had to be a part of it. By our first phone call, she made us feel so comfortable. Her excitement about our wedding made us even more excited. You can tell right away so truly cares about her clients and their vision. We did an engagement shoot with Steph, which was a great opportunity for us to get know each other more. My husband is not comfortable in front of a camera, but just after 5 minutes, he was so at ease- and that’s due to Steph’s energy. Our wedding was postponed due to Covid, and Steph was so accommodating and positive throughout the entire process. There was a lot of going back and forth between vendors to secure a new date, and she was so flexible. Steph was always quick to respond to an email or jump on the phone to answer any questions. Steph is very efficient and organized. We were able to get all of the couple and family pictures we wanted, and we were still able to join a good portion of cocktail hour with our guests! Steph sent us a 50 picture preview that same night! The final pictures (more than 1,000) were sent to us quickly as well! The photos are absolutely stunning, and Steph truly captured who we are as a couple. Steph is an extremely talented and organized photographer who cares about her clients. She has a way of connecting with you that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. Steph was absolutely my favorite person to work with throughout the wedding planning process! Book Steph now!

You need Steph. First off, she is a lovely, warm, super easy to talk to person. She has amazing ideas and a great personality - every person I have talked to from my wedding said how much they loved her. She is extremely organized and really keeps things moving on the wedding day, but still makes you feel special. Her ability to capture people’s emotions at just the right time is unparalleled. There is never a moment you feel awkward or weird, she helps you feel comfortable and gets the right moments in such a natural way. She’s both so present with you on the day and a blur - she’s getting shots you didn’t even know were happening! Plus she gives you a preview almost immediately which, I didn’t know would be as important as it is! Trust me, once the day is over, all you want is to relive it so an early preview is ESSENTIAL. If pictures of people are important to you, then she is 100% the right choice.

We had a wonderful experience with Steph at our wedding! She also took our engagement pictures. The shoot was so fun! Steph had some great ideas and was able to incorporate the shots that we wanted too! On our wedding day, both of our photographers were amazing! Everything went so smoothly. We did a first look, so we were able to do the majority of our photos before the ceremony! Steph kept us on track and it went so smoothly! She pulled us a side during the reception for a few shots, but that was it! The day after the wedding Steph sent us a sneak peak of our photos! It was such a pleasant surprise and the photos look amazing! We can't wait for the rest of them!

I can't say enough about Steph. She was the best decision we made, and one of the easiest! Steph had photographed my sister's wedding in 2015 and made the day run smoothly and efficiently. I had the same experience - Steph kept us on schedule and managed to capture the most incredible, meaningful moments of our day. We had a great experience with Steph Stevens Photo. We really love the result! Our wedding was a bit low key and we didn't have everything planned out. Steph was very professional and gave us guidance when we needed and also flexible when considering what we want. For example, she helped us organize guests for photos when we are kind of lost. Steph was THE. BEST. No matter how low key you are or how well planned you think your wedding is, the day of is very stressful. Steph is a beacon of calm and smiles and professionalism and hardwork throughout that all. She did wonderful photos of the bridal party getting ready, a first look at a separate location, and of course, gorgeous photos at our ceremony and reception. We had a...difficult individual who was associated with our venue, who inexplicably tried to rush us through photos that we were doing in an outdoor area. Steph countered this with grace and managed to get all the photos done in an incredibly short amount of time. She worked tirelessly to get beautiful posed photos both inside and outside, but also took incredible candid shots all day. My father is a professional photographer (who did weddings for a number of years) so he can be critical of photographers, especially those shooting his children’s weddings, but he had nothing but high compliments of Steph, her attitude and most importantly, her photos. Our photos were processed and ready around 6 weeks after the wedding, which was great! We also got a preview album the night of the wedding, which we loved looking at over coffee then next morning! TL;DR: book Steph!!!

Here is why you should choose Steph over other photographers (and why my mom said her review was for "5++ stars!!"). In short, if you go with Steph, expect pictures vibrant and meaningful that capture fleeting and special moments in time. 1) Attention to detail - Steph will help you create an overview of what to expect in terms of photography, and you help her nail down the group combinations or other must-have images. 2) Versatility - It didn't matter to Steph that it was drizzling on and off during our wedding and reception; she was always suggesting places where we could get amazing photos, both indoors and outdoors. She also executed efficiently on guest requests for a dozen different types of group photos the day of the event (I suppose everyone realized she could take amazing photos almost instantly and also felt comfortable approaching her). 3) Quality - The quality of pictures come from her willingness to do whatever it takes to get the shot. For example, she was happy to maneuver herself into tall grass so WE could look epic in the picture. She always made us feel relaxed and at ease with simple directions on where to look, hold hands, walk, etc. This demeanor and guidance results in pictures where you look like you are having fun, because you can be your own self.

My husband and I hired Steph Stevens to shoot our wedding in July 2016, and I can't give her enough praise. I first had the privilege of seeing her in action when she shot the wedding of some good friends of mine. I was a bridesmaid in that ceremony and loved seeing how she put the bride and groom (plus the whole wedding party really) at ease. She was fun to work with and her shots were stunning. When we started planning our own wedding, I knew who I wanted to take our photos. We first met with Steph in September and by October, we were doing our engagement shoot around Boston. We loved how quick she is. You're amazed when you see her work because you don't even remember her catching some of your candid moments. From there, we had several prep calls with her ahead of our wedding and discovered how organized she is, too. A woman after my own heart! Of all the people we hired for our wedding, she was one of the easiest to work with. When our wedding day arrived, we had complete confidence that we'd have fantastic photos to remember our day by. She did not disappoint - and had our pictures back to us just days after our honeymoon. Wow! I recommend her wholeheartedly - in fact, I already have to friends. We made many hard choices while planning our big day but hiring Steph was the easiest decision we had to make, hands down.

In a word, perfect. Steph was professional, warm, and very accommodating. We had fun at our engagement shoot and Steph knew exactly which shots to take to make them look fabulous, even outside with bare trees on a cold April evening. This was even more apparent at the wedding - we ended up with a cold, raw day with pretty much constant rain. Steph made us go outside with umbrellas and WOW I'm glad she did. Fantastic pictures and really beautifully edited. She's also fast and efficient when taking those tedious formal family pictures so we could enjoy our cocktail hour! I'd recommend her to anyone.

Steph was a true professional, and she was so upbeat that she totally helped me to relax. I can't smile on cue for anything but all our photos came out great because she knew how to capture the pure enjoyment of the day. Steph also had a great balance between being a patient, lovely person and also being bossy when she needed to be. For example, she said "We are going to stop taking family photos one half hour before the ceremony, no matter what" and she was right. She was straight forward when it came to money and business, she was forthcoming about arrangements beforehand, and she was a marvelous photographer with both candids and formals. We highly recommend her!

I was anxious about finding a photographer who would be willing to sign up for the small event that we had in mind, just two hours of picture taking: one hour of photos with my husband and I, and a second hour of photos with our 25 guests. I had so many questions. Will that timing work out? Will our families be standing around getting anxious during the second hour of photos? Will my young nieces shy away from the camera? Thankfully, we found Steph. One phone call and a few emails exchanged before the big day and I had nothing to worry about. Steph thoughtfully listed out all of the group shots we would want ahead of time so there was no chance of forgetting an important photo when the day came. I appreciated that she asked for a list of our VIPs (moms, dads, etc.) so she could call them by name rather than "hey, you". In our case, with only 25 guests, everyone was a VIP and Steph handled the group (including 8 kids) with grace, even more impressive given the August heat. She made us feel at ease, arrived at our meeting spot before we did, and found the perfect backgrounds for each of our photos. Can you tell yet that we were incredibly pleased with the final photos? Every one of them is my favorite! Going above and beyond, Steph had a preview of several photos up on Facebook before we went to bed that evening. Outstanding! Call her today!

Where do I even begin? Steph was my #1 favorite person to work with for my wedding. I remember when I first looked at her work as I was deciding a photographer I was tearing up at some of her masterful shots. I knew I had to hire her and I am SO happy I did. From the engagement shoot, all the way through the wedding, Steph was extremely organized, positive, helpful, and professional. You really need a photographer who is organized and disciplined during the chaos of a wedding: Steph came prepared with the list of shots we talked about during our prep calls and helped keep everyone on-track. Even in the moment as things were changing, Steph was highly adaptable. She truly went above and beyond (e.g. at one point even almost laying completely on the ground to get the perfect shot… wow!). During the church ceremony as well as the reception, Steph was everywhere… without being everywhere. In other words, she was graceful and respectful while getting the job done! What really blew us all away was how Steph sent us a link to ~50 “sneak peek” shots from the wedding THAT SAME NIGHT. Who does that? Who is that amazing? Steph Stevens. And the shots themselves… absolutely incredible. Everyone we’ve shared them with were so amazed at the talent, artistry, and vision. She captures real emotion. I can’t wait to see the full album. Steph Stevens was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding photographer. She is not only quick to respond to emails, but provides you with so much information from the beginning immediately making you feel confident she is the right person for the job. She was very easy to work with and both friendly and professional and truly takes pride in her work. She made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera lens both with our engagement photos and wedding photos which is not always easy to do. She is so amazing at what she does, when she arrived the day of our wedding, she immediately jumped right in seeing a perfect picture I didn't even realize was a great picture to shoot. It's not a coincidence that all you see here is 5-star reviews for Steph - she is simply amazing! Steph produces timeless, classic wedding photos and has a great eye for composition and lighting. When my husband and I first met Steph for our consultation, we knew we had to hire her for our wedding day. We love her energy, passion, artistic vision, attention to details, professionalism, and the list goes on. Steph spent 12 hours with us on our wedding day (we celebrated three different wedding traditions), and within 24 hours, she posted a "sneak peek" of 50+ photos; in 2.5 weeks, she sent us our fully edited photos (all 1,854 of them!!) as well as a slideshow of her top 300 photos. I worked with Steph on my recent Nov 2014 wedding and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She was excellent before the wedding while taking our engagement photos and discussing plans and expectations. She was super organized with a list of “who’s who” to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted once the big day came. On our wedding day she was pleasant to work with, kept us on track, worked quickly, and produced beautiful photographs. She uses her husband as a second shooter at weddings and he was also a pleasure to work with. He manned our “photo booth” which resulted in some of our favorite and funniest shots of the day. I also want to point out for all of the self-conscious brides out there - I don't tend to photograph well and I normally HATE all of photographs of myself, and yet Steph managed to take many beautiful pictures that I love and will proudly display, both during the more casual engagement session and during the very formal wedding. Not only is Steph extremely talented and has a way of capturing moments as if you are still living them, she is very responsible, timely, efficient, and wonderful to work with. Steph is a fantastic photographer. My husband and I just had our wedding a few weeks ago and can't wait to see our wedding pictures. Steph even sent us a sneak peek of some photos from the wedding the night after the wedding. They are absolutely amazing. We honestly look like movie stars. Steph knows how to capture pictures. I picked Steph based on personal knowledge, we went to high school together and she had done some headshots for me a few years ago for another reason. I knew she would be incredibly professional and that she would pay close attention to all of the details. And she did! We had a gorgeous day weather wise and Steph had everything organized down to a tee. We choose Steph Stevens for our photographer after having such a great experience with her at a friend's wedding. She is such a sweet person, and so easy to work with.
