She went above and beyond what I ever could have asked from her. She always had on hand the small things that were needed, whether it be umbrellas, hand warmers, or much needed advice on how to bustle a dress! She was the driver of the day keeping our families and wedding party on time and happy for photos, even a very tired and grumpy ring bearer was laughing and smiling for pictures! She worked with me to make a timeline and for the day including places we would stop for pictures. However it rained ALL day, but before I even had time to panic or think about alternatives Stephanie already had a list of places we would go instead and I knew I could trust her judgement fully. If you are looking for a photographer that is all that and more, Stephanie is your girl!

During the ceremony and reception she was able to capture every moment without even noticing she was there, yet knew how to take control and run the show for the bridal party photos in between. She had such a welcoming personality, sense of warmth and care that radiated from her when we first met. Instantly, the three of us clicked! We were laughing, sharing stories about ourselves, and it seemed like we were good friends. We loved her personality. We instantly had a feeling of trust with her. We canceled the other photographers we had lined up. Then we did the first photo shoot. That first photoshoot was incredible for our engagement photos. At first we were nervous. We weren't sure about a lot of things - like where to take the photos, clothes, poses, etc. But Stephanie came to our rescue. She gave us a bunch of different options of places to go with past photos at the locations which was awesome so we could see the scenery and get a sense of her style. Needless to say, it went very well. At first my wife was nervous when we were taking the photos, but Stephanie gave us silly directions for us to loosen up and really capture our love for one another. The photos turned out better than we expected. Stephanie was always there for us, answering all of our questions along the way. She met with us several times and even helped us put together our timeline for our wedding day. It worked great because we could see how our day was going to go and when everyone needed to be ready. Stephanie definitely went above and beyond. On our wedding day, we got so many great photos. Stephanie was constantly gathering people and directing everyone perfectly. You definitely want a photographer that can give directions, keen eye to detail (like if someone's hair is out of place or needed to have a little grease wiped off), and a person to take charge to make sure the day is attending to the schedule, like Stephanie. I heard so many stories about couples not getting all the photos they wanted because they ran out of time or people were missing. But Stephanie never let that happen! We were like a well-oiled machine. We are so thankful that we chose Stephanie to be our photographer. She never let us down along the way. She was by far the best investment for our wedding day!

We're fairly shy and not too crazy about getting our picture taken, so we were nervous about spending hours doing just that. Stephanie put us at ease within 5 minutes. She's very chill and easy going (while still being professional), and oh hey, she's great with dogs! We never thought we'd actually enjoy spending so much time with a camera pointed at us but we really did. Stephanie even got me to smile on command, which is no easy feat. to know my fiance and I. He's not comfortable in front of the camera, but got him to relax. We took our engagement photos outside in January in 20 degree weather. I. was. freezing. When we showed up, however, Stephanie had handwarmers and a blanket in a bag, ready to go for me. We also had our dog on the shoot with us, and Stephanie did a great job with her - even with the blur she is as she ran around! Love Stephanie, can't recommend her enough.

She captured every picture we wanted and more. All of our pictures were posted on a website within 6 weeks (and we got a preview much sooner). And the slideshow was amazing! ontacted other photographers prior to selecting Stephanie, but as soon as I spoke with her my decision was made! We live in Kansas City, but our venue was closer to St. Louis. Stephanie was willing to travel to the city we were getting married, which was an hour drive for her. She traveled there to do our engagement shoot, as well as the wedding. The distance was never an issue. We met her in person for the first time to do our engagement shoot. Stephanie is very laid back and we weren't nervous, or uncomfortable around her ever! We received a package in the mail with our completed photos. What was in that package confirmed that "the little things" don't slip past Stephanie. In fact those little things, that meant the most to me, are what I feel she is the best at capturing. It poured on our wedding day and Stephanie went above and beyond in so many ways. She was our photographer, but she was the one person who helped make me feel as though the rain was just a part of the day, not something to be worried about. I will be forever grateful that we found Stephanie and that she is the one we chose to capture our day. I could go on and on about the little things she did, but the impression she left on me proved that this is her natural born talent, and not just in her picture taking skills.

Not only did she make sure she would not miss a wedding in St. Louis that same weekend, but also offered to take a quick family vacation to Kansas City on her one weekend off so she could meet up with us in KC! So awesome! Our session went amazingly well, even though I picked a location that decided to have a festival start at exactly the same time we showed up!
