lter and change up the design of my mother's dress for the ceremony.. but I looked over her designs in her lovely quant studio and realized I would love to try out the custom design route for my reception dress. I couldn't find THE ONE in other boutiques, even in the East Coast. Stephanie made my experience WORTHWHILE as she made it visually better than I expected, luxurious, cost-efficient in comparison to buying a brand new dress then altering, AND helping me with such a THOROUGH process with meticulous detail down to the positioning of lace with the help of her daughter (hand-sewn lace master Vivian). I can not imagine a result better elsewhere!

al product was exactly what I had hoped for -- they carefully removed the patches my grandmother had made from her original dress and sewed them into a brand new dress made custom for me. They worked with me to pick out the fabric and style I wanted and did multiple fittings to get the fit just right. Unfortunately, the closer we got to the wedding, the more delayed things became and there were multiple sessions where they did not deliver what we had agreed on, which meant that I had to schedule an extra session and the dress was not completely finished until the night before I had to fly out for my wedding. I also spent a good deal of time during a few of the sessions waiting for them to finish things that should've been done before I arrived. This was stressful and upsetting, given we already had a lot to do to prepare for the wedding. What bothered me the most was that Stephanie and Vivianne did not fully acknowledge these delays, but made me feel like I had misunderstood or misheard. Overall, I am very grateful to them for making me a beautiful wedding dress and would recommend working with them but giving yourself extra wiggle room in your timeline and getting expectations and deliverables in writing if you are worried about timing.

I was thrilled to discover that her prices are very fair, and highly competitive when compared with other bridal shops. She was incredible throughout the design process, giving attention to the smallest details, and searching everywhere for the perfect lining fabric for my dress. I went back to her studio for multiple fittings, each time given a sincere welcome. She even let me bring in a large group of friends and family when they were all in town at one point! second appointment at 6 pm the night before and said the dress wasn't finished (I already had family drive 5 hours for the fitting). The third appointment also had to be rescheduled to later that day due to her having a "time conflict" at my scheduled appointment time. The dress was still not done when we arrived, and we had to wait over an hour to have it finished up by her staff. I would not go to her again. Her website says that steaming is included, but it is not. I pulled it up on her website to show her, and her response was that it was an error and her staff isn't trained to steam, though she has a steamer in the fitting area. I would not go to her again for any alterations.
