We are so thrilled that we stumbled upon Stephen Marsh Photography. From the time we contacted Stephen, he was responsive and professional. He walked us through the process, gave us documents to guide our planning, and worked seamlessly with our planner to coordinate as we approached our wedding day. The value of the package that Stephen and Heather offer is unbeatable. Not only did the package fall right within our budget, but we received two talented photographers and 750+ printed photos (including several enlargements). Stephen and Heather want to be with the couple from the beginning to the end of their special day. They do not believe in limiting the couple to a certain number of hours. As a result, we got photos of everything from getting ready to our send-off. Stephen and Heather also do an amazing job of capturing every moment without anyone feeling like they are "in the way." I barely remember seeing them the entire night, and yet they caught every moment. Like magic! Having two photographers allowed us to get more photos and similar photos from different angles. After the wedding, their turnaround time was great. As we hoped and expected, our photos were so beautiful! Definitely contact Stephen Marsh Photography...they are the best!!

Steve and his wife are AMAZING! My husband and I could not be happier with our photos. They truly captured the day in the best way possible. They were fun and energetic. Steve was easy to stay in touch with and walked us thru the process step by step. The photos are amazing, the turn around time was fantastic. There's not enough great things we can say about Stephen Marsh Photography. His pricing is competitive (we even got a Friday Wedding discount!) and you really get every memory you asked him to capture. Cannot recommend him enough!!

There are so many things I want to say about Stephen's photography. I appreciate everything him and his wife did. My now husband and I live in NJ and the wedding was taking place in Syracuse, NY. This involved a lot of communication over the phone and e-mail instead of in person. Stephen's responsiveness to all my questions especially when creating a timeline were always quick. We had so much fun doing photos with Stephen and his wife, and the photos came out AMAZING! Every photo my husband and I love. Thank you thank you thank you Stephen for everything and more!

Stephen and his wife were absolutely amazing!! Stephen was awesome through the whole planning process - he completely understood what my husband and I wanted, did a great job with the engagement pictures, made all the people who mattered feel important, and most importantly got amazing shots of the day from getting ready to dancing. Not only were all the pictures stunning, he also got them back to us in a timely manor which doesn't hurt. I would recommend Steven and his wife, Heather to anyone getting married in the New York area.

Stephen and his wife were absolutely fantastic the entire day. I could not recommend a set of photographers more highly and this is even before we have seen the pictures that they took! (We did get to see a few here and there that he showed us). During our formal photos, he was very good at directing us where to go and how to be for the best photos. We wanted more candids than anything else and they were unobtrusive as well as always there to capture the most important moments. I do not think I could say enough to how amazing of a job they both did and how highly I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely amazing! We chose Steve and Heather to do our Engagement pictures in Lake George and Wedding photos in Saratoga and could not be happier! From our first conversation on the phone, Steve was excited and super supportive of our ideas. They made those awkward kissing photographs fun and we had such a blast shooting with them. They had awesome jokes and kept our wild wedding party entertained all day and we ended up with the most beautiful photos. It was also a great surprise that the photos were loaded to the website a month and a half after our wedding, which we thought was pretty quick considering there are about 1200! Thank you so much, Steve and Heather, for all of your hard work and spending so much time getting to know us, our family and friends and pulling everyone's personalities into our photos!

I have so many words of thanks, I'm not even sure where to begin. Steve and Heather were so much fun to work with both in the days leading up to our wedding and on the wedding day itself. As we had a spring wedding there is always the fear of rain, but Steve continued to be our positive cheerleader saying, "It's not going to rain". And he was right =) We had such a magical and beautiful day and couldn't be happier that Steve and Heather were there to join us. Throughout our wedding day, Steve and Heather had the rare ability to be everywhere, but nowhere at the same time. By that I mean, they got so many beautiful shots, but they never took any moments away from the bride/groom/families to get the shots. This was something that was very important to me. While doing our family pictures and bridal party pictures, Steve had a fun way of reminding us all to smile (and not fake smile!) so that we could get the best pictures possible. It was so fun watching him creatively choose picture locations and set up the scene. He was able to get all the shots in, and have fun at the same time, laughing and joking around with us all while he was taking pictures. This contributed greatly to our overall wedding feel, just having someone there with us that truly loves their job and has fun doing it. After the wedding, we had all our edits (800+!) within a month. We live out of state, so Steve even shipped our 4x6 prints to us to look through before ordering our enlargements. Steve was very quick to respond to any questions we had about prints and enlargements, and was able to quickly make any changes we asked for. Our wedding was in April 2016, and we have guests STILL commenting on how much fun they had with our photographers and how they love all our pictures. Overall, we were blown away by how easy Steve and Heather made our wedding-day photography and how perfectly their personalities meshed with our bridal party, friends, and family. You can't beat having someone there with you all day that feels like a friend, AND gets beautiful pictures along the way. This photographer was amazing! I had no worries day of and he and his wife were incredibly fun to work with! The price was great for the services provided. We had an amazing time taking pictures and felt very special. I would highly recommend this vendor!

ABSOLUTELY amazing. Stephen and his wife, Heather, are pure professionals who keep it fun and exciting, who know what they're doing, and who have plenty of experience in this field. It more than shows. I still cry every time I look at our pictures - they're nothing short of perfect. We had Heather with me and the girls while we were getting ready. Stephen hung out with the guys and took their pictures. Then we did individual shoots alone (my husband and me). Everything came out the way I imagined it. It truly made our wedding seem like the fairy tale wedding we wanted. Words can't express how thankful we are for their service, and we cannot recommend them enough!! The price for the package we got was an amazing deal as well. Hard to find a better deal - excellent professional photographers for the outstanding price. Love them!

We booked Steve and Heather for our September 2013 wedding. Working with them was so easy. They provided us so many beautiful pictures without getting in the way of the celebrations. We loved the whole experience and our gorgeous pictures so much that we even recommend them to my sister in law and are currently looking forward to working with them again. My experience the day of the wedding was fantastic with Steve. He was always in the right place at the right time to capture key moments, and he was warm, friendly and funny. He had an ease about him with guiding the photo process and it was obvious he had a clear vision and plan for how to achieve what my husband and I were looking for. Our family and friends raved about him that day and beyond. Upon receiving our photos I was blown away. He not only captured the expected shots beautifully, but his eye for landscaping, placing/positioning in group shots, etc is something all of my married friends are incredibly jealous of. Having Steve shoot our day was the single best decision my husband and I could have made. It is hard to believe he is as affordable as he is given his truly remarkable talent.

Stephen Marsh Photography made our wedding extremely magical. They were extremely professional in all of our meetings and made us feel that this day was truly about us. They were laid back, and very easy to work with. They took the time to explore our venues to capture some of the most breathtaking photos of the day we will never forget. They were a go with the flow kinda of couple, which made things go smoothly! Had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to future couples!

Stephen Marsh photography was best experience a bride could ask for!! From start to finish he made the experience simple and 100% stress free! When I began researching photographers I knew there were four features I wanted. (1) Two photographers so that different angles and candid moments could be captured, (2) full day coverage so that my special day had pictures from start to finish (3) the agreement to use the photos after words to get duplicates or make photo projects and (4) high quality photos at a fair price. I know that was a lot to ask for, but Stephen Marsh was it!!! He exceeded all expectations, and even went above and beyond by going to two photo locations, checking with us before he left at the end of the night to make sure we didn't want more photos, and made faces to get our ring bearer to smile in photos (no simple task when the ring bearer is 21 months old) It was the little details he cared about which made me feel comfortable we were in good hands with one of the most important vendors of our wedding day. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, his professionalism, creativity and talent for his profession truly amazes me. He thought of ideas, angles, lighting etc. that made for some amazing pictures in which an average photographer would have bypassed. I have been in 4 weddings and Stephen Marsh is the best photographer I have had the pleasure of working with.

My wife and I just got married in October and it was my job to find a photographer way back when the ball first started rolling. I looked through a bunch of wedding websites and used a couple different google searches trying to find a photographer remotely close to where we were having our wedding (in the middle of nowhere). I tend to be pretty picky about photos since I pretend to be an amateur photographer and knew this was the one thing I had to have the way I wanted it. When I stumbled upon Steve's website and started looking through his gallery I knew it was the style I was hoping to find. Having seen crazy prices for "All Day" shoots I was worried this would just be another vendor I couldn't afford. To my utmost surprise it was the best All Day rate I had found. On top of that, his wife acts as a SECOND photographer in the package. Everything seemed to be perfect but with all the other bumps in the wedding planning I was forced to be a little skeptical. However I loved his photos so much that I inquired about his availability and shortly thereafter we were sending a deposit. We met with Steve about a month before the wedding. He was completely down to earth and easy to talk to. He was very professional with his knowledge about other weddings and helped us plan out our timeline for our wedding. He was very receptive of the ideas I had for individual shots the day of which some photographers may act like they will take those ideas into consideration but there are those that never act on it. THE BIG DAY! He and his wife showed up as scheduled and walked right into the lions den as we were trying to set up all of the last little details with the venue. He took control and made sure we got in all of the shots we wanted and put together a lot of his own I had never even thought of. They stayed until there were only a few drunks left on the dance floor and even then made sure there were no other photos we wanted to take before they headed out. They kept the train running smoothly from start to finish. It was an absolute joy to do business with them. Oh yeah, and the photos turned out amazing :)

Stephen was wonderful. He's a true artist and will create the most beautiful photos. He was a joy to work with.

Stephen and his wife did an amazing job on our special day. He captured the day perfectly. He was very responsive to what we desired in terms of what kind of photos we wanted. My favorite shots were the candid ones and his use of the landscape as part of our theme. He was extremely professional, very responsive to emails, and just a treat to work with. I would recommend him to any of my close friends and family for future events. I would hire him again in a heart beat.

I don't think I have enough room here to say all the great things that I want to about Steve and his wife. From the moment I went to his house for the first appointment, I just knew he was the one that I wanted to photograph my special day. After meeting with other photographers, I finally got a great vibe from Steve. Knew we were on the same page and that he was all about contributing his skill and expertise as a photographer but also making my photographs everything I wanted them to be. I thought he was really nice and accommodating. He travelled about 40 minutes to a house we rented on the beach to begin taking photos as I got dressed. Our November 2011 wedding day was absolutely beautiful and Steve took advantage of the weather and we took a lot of beautiful photos outside by the beach and water. He even got me to agree to go in the sand in my heels and dress and I am so glad I did because the pictures are awesome! What more can I say, he made me feel like a princess and I didn't even realize he was there snapping pictures all day! Him and his wife truly are a made to be team and I would recommend them to anyone looking for more than just a photographer. If you want to capture the love and memories from your special day, Steve is the guy. Your wedding photos will be unique to you. And not just run of the mill photos that look like everyone else's. You wont regret choosing Stephen Marsh Photography.

To all u future brides out there I just have to tell you that Stephen marsh is truly amazing at capturing the best moments for your wedding. From getting ready in the morning to dancing all night they really do tell an amazing story and really show the love in every aspect. He got all my little details I worked so hard on and all the pictures just came out beautiful! I not only was in a wedding he shot but decided that day he was perfect for the job as my wedding photographer. We also did our engagement pictures with him which was a really good way to get comfortable! Steve is not only friendly, and fun but most importantly so talented at what he does. Him and his wife make a great team! I even asked Steve if I could get my pictures in time for Christmas for gifts I wanted to make and sure enough he came through with lots of time to spare. I got to share them with all my friends and family over the holiday which meant so much to us! thank you soooo much for everything you have done. These pictures will last a lifetime and I have never been happier :)

We did both our engagement and wedding photos with Steve. So satisfied and glad that we did! Steve and Heather were wonderful, and had the right blend of professionalism and relaxation. I can honestly say that the hour or two we took pictures after the ceremony was so enjoyable... The pictures had both a journalistic and portrait-like edge, and Steve took the time to listen to what we wanted and how we wanted it. I was impressed by his quick response time to emails and phone calls. He also had very reasonable prices, and there was no haggling, pretense, or hidden fees (e.g., you got all the digtal negatives) Would do it again in an instant, and wouldn't want anyone else for the job.

I remember when I was first searching for a photographer, my husband was on the verge of not wanting one at all. I contacted Steve, and he was very quick to respond. As soon as we met with him, we knew he was our photographer. I didn't even want to meet with anyone else...and even my husband was instantly satisfied. Words can't even describe how much I love my pictures. There are moments that I didn't even remember from that day but he totally captured them. I didn't give him much time between the church and reception to take them. You would have thought we spent hours on them, instead of a total of 20 minutes. I would recommend Steve and his wife to anyone! They make a great team and can fit in with any kind of crowd (my wedding party loved them)...and their price is more than reasonable! My husband and I can't say enough about Stephen and his wife, Heather! They photographed our August 2011 wedding and we couldn't have asked for two better people to spend the day with us! They really listened to what we wanted in our pictures and the results were amazing! He and Heather were so much fun - the entire wedding party loved them! We were married in Utica, but live in the Albany. We met w/ several Albany-area photographers that captured the fun, candid, yet professional shots we were looking for but they were just too pricey (base packages started at $3000). We were so happy to find Stephen! His shots were exactly the quality and style we were looking for at a much more affordable price!! I highly recommend Stephen Marsh Photography!! :)

Stephen was great - he was on time, knew what I was looking for after one meeting for an hour. So easy to work with and he was really great at giving directions on the day of to get the best picture possible. Drove 2 hours to my wedding and charged $15 for gas, that's it! Got my finished pictures in about 6 weeks, which is very typical. Would recommend to anyone!

I do not have my photos back yet (hopefully this week), but I am willing to go out on a limb and review Steve now based on his other photos from past weddings that I have viewed (which are amazing!). His portfolio is fantastic, and I cannot wait to see our photos. He was also super cooperative to work with before the wedding, making my day as stress free as possible. He was so great to work with the day of - he almost made you forget you were having your photos taken. He was really a lot of fun to do photos with. You're making a mistake if you don't choose Steve!!!
