Stephen's bright, enthusiastic personality and his ability to capture special moments helped make our wedding day a success and captured forever the elegance, excitement and magic of our special day. Three years later, we still love to glance through our photo album - he perfectly captured the special moments of the day. Stephen is very talented in photography. He has the ability to capture moments and you don't even notice he's doing it. Personalities and the character of each person shines through the photos he takes. Stephen's personality is also very easy to work with and communicate with. He has an enjoyable sense of humor, easy to talk with, and great to be around. He comes highly recommended!

I felt like Stephen went above and beyond! He photographed our engagement session, my bridal and my wedding. I was so happy with our photography - he captured so many special moments and things I would have missed if not for the photos. He also brought two extra photographers on our wedding day so everything was captured!

Stephen Thrift is amazing! He made my daughter (and me) feel like she was the most beautiful bride in the world. Very sweet, genuine, humble young man. Gets very excited and involved! Takes MANY shots and listened to what we wanted. His work is beautiful and unique. I have 5 daughters and they all want him to do their weddings. As a matter of fact, he is doing my 4th daughter's senior portraits. She can't wait! - we can't either!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE STEPHEN!! He is truly wonderful. We saw a sample of his work at Southern Roots and the owner recommended him. As SOON as my mom and I met Stephen I knew I wanted to have him as my photographer. I must say that my husband nor I are typically that comfortable with having our picture taken, but Stephen is amazing at making you feel comfortable. For my bridal portrait he was great at providing tips for me. The session went wonderfully and Stephen is EXCELLENT at getting those artistic, yet beautiful shots. For the wedding it was so nice that he took the time to make sure he was getting the right shots. He has such a talent that it doesn't take him forever to get that one picture. He knows where to take pictures, how to take them, and how to place people in them. Our wedding party and family felt so comfortable with him! Our pictures could not be more beautiful and we could not have been more happy. I would recommend Stephen to anyone! I had heard horror stories of people having photographers that were overbearing and persistent on certain shots, and Stephen is the furthest thing from that. He has a great aura and makes everyone comfortable. Some of my bridesmaids wanted the Abbey Road shot and he did that and some wanted to do the shot from the movie Bridesmaids and he did that for us also. He knows how to accommodate your wants and also get great pictures. By far what we loved most about Stephen was that he did not take those stereotypical shots. He has a true talent at seeing things and making it look great. We wanted pictures that didn't look like those old uniform pictures our parents had or we had seen other people our age have for their weddings. He got excellent pictures with a more modern, classic take. Stephen is truly talented as a photographer and artist, so if you are wanting someone that will make you feel comfortable and give you excellent pictures, he is the go-to person!

Stephen is incredible to work with. From the first time I met him I knew I wanted him as our photographer. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. He captures every special moment and doesn't miss out on a thing. We enjoyed working with him so much. He caters to you and your needs and makes sure everything is perfect. No one can compare to him. We hired Stephen to photograph our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. He put in more time than promised and took great care to make sure we received all the shots we wanted at each event. He is a pleasure to be around as well! His assistant, Jamie Lynn, was awesome too. She only came for the wedding day photos but was super sweet and it was nice to know that both her and Stephen were there so there was less of a chance of missing a shot.

So we found Stephen through a friend from work and it was really such a blessing. He is so easy to work with. He has great ideas and comes prepared. He was 2 hours early on the wedding day. Pictures speak for themselves on the website.
