StepOnMe Photography

My husband and I used StepOnMe as the photographer for our wedding last year. We wanted to wait until we received our wedding album until we wrote a review, which we received earlier this year. While there were positives to working with this StepOnMe, we experienced multiple frustrations. One of the biggest issues was that Stephanie would say that she sent us emails when we hadn’t received them yet. She most likely was emailing the incorrect email address. Many people have left out a double letter in my email address, and we believe she was doing the same thing – emailing the incorrect email address. When we let her know that we did not receive emails with links, she said that she already sent them and that she would resend them. We then would receive the links for the first time that would show up as new emails, not as resent ones. It is concerning that someone has our personal engagement and wedding photos because of this. She would not prove to us that she sent the photos to the correct email address, nor would she specify what email address she sent the links to initially. Furthermore, she ignored multiple emails and requests. For example: we asked her for some revisions on our engagement photos such as removing lipstick on my teeth and removing other people from the background, and she did not respond. She also did not follow up to make sure we received galleries from her links. We had to ask her how we would be getting the album, and there were limited instructions on what was needed for the whole album process. We ended up having to work with Whitney, one of the photographers from the wedding, on the album since Stephanie was so challenging to work with. Whitney was very helpful with the album process and took the time to go one phone calls with us, shared video with us of what the finished album product would look like, and she made sure we were happy with it. She was very nice and easy to work with. These are only some of the issues we faced in the process of working with Stephanie, but we felt it was important to share them.
