onal touch and flair for entertainment. They even surprised us (with the help of my uncle) by playing our alma mater's "fight song" while our fellow college friends were posing with us for a group photo. The fact that they took the time to learn our college anthem, along with learning our first dance, father-daughter dance and a few other special requests, was above and beyond. Every song they performed made our guests gravitate straight to the dance floor - it was packed all night!

the band manager, runs the show and was so easy to work with when planning everything from wedding party introductions to the type/genre/decade of music we wanted him to play during the reception. We had a 9-piece band, which we recommend highly since it included horns, and they played everything from 70's disco dance to today's top hits - we even requested Michael Jackson & Bruno Mars and they tackled it with ease. Many of our guests also complimented us on the fact that Steppin' Out's lead singers and lead guitarists walked out into the crowd many times to get every one to sing with them and dance. It was truly an interactive and highly experienced band which made our lives a thousand times easier.
Overall 5 stars (and + another star if we could) since Ethan even took care of our live ceremony music with a violinist & acoustic guitarist, our cocktail hour with a saxophonist & pianist, and the 9-piece band during the reception. Highly recommend this band because they know how to put on a show from front-to-back (and Ethan makes all the planning easy if you're looking to reduce some of the stress from the wedding planning process!)!

d about 200 guests at our wedding and everyone was on the dance floor all night. Steppin' Out was so easy to work with and they made our night that much more special. It's not a bad problem to have when the dance floor is too small for all of your guests to be dancing because they are having an awesome time. We would highly recommend Steppin' Out!

d sax at our cocktail hour. Ethan was the best to work with ! We created a play list before hand and the band used that as a guide for the evening . As our guests were ushered into the the reception from cocktail hour the band played "in the mood" and other big band favorites. It truly set the tone !
Throughout the night they played everything - Motown, disco, classic rock, top 20... you name it they not only do it.. they nail it!
Our 250 guests danced the ENTIRE night! They interacted with the crowd ! Everyone is still asking me about the band! Whenever I need musical entertainment I couldn't imagine using anyone else !
We did not have a wedding planner and having vendors who are able to do their part on your wedding day without reaching out to you is crucial! This group truly came through in a BIG way! Our day wouldn't have been the same without them!

using their tambourines and singing into their mics - then BOOK THEM NOW! They sound like the real artists - almost better!! Ethan was organized and accommodating to all of our crazy requests (start our first dance at 1:14, change the lyric in the mother-son dance...and the list goes on.) reat - that was enough for me and I decided to hire them! Then I watched their YouTube video and was slightly disappointed and apprehensive (they should really remove it). During the planning process, Ethan was easily accessible via email and phone. He was quick to respond any time I had a question. He also provided the harp player for the ceremony and piano player for our cocktail hour. When my husband and I got introduced into the reception I was instantly impressed with the band. OMG they were INCREDIBLE! From the first song to the last, they had everybody out on the dance floor. Honestly, we didn't get to greet all the tables because the only time people sat down was to eat (and we were hungry too!). They provided such fantastic entertainment. The singers were really impressive with a wide range. My husband likes saxophones and so the sax player came out onto the dance floor during one of his solos!!
They didn't play a lot of slow music - which was fine by me. And what I liked best is how they organized their sets. They didn't jump from Motown to Pop to R&B. Instead each set was one genre.
We brought in 8 pieces for our 150 guest wedding and it was great. A few folks said it was too loud, so the band did lower the volume slightly. Overall they were incredible and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steppin' Out to everybody!!
