Don’t do it. Don’t risk your beautiful day being ruined by the staff and management at stepping stone farm.
There were so many things that the management team did wrong during the...
weekend of my sisters wedding, all of which could have been overlooked and swept under the rug but due to the way the co-owner, Hanna, addressed and spoke to the bride regarding an honest mistake made by the bridal party- my beautiful sister walked away from the conversation with tear stains from being brought to tears by the way Hanna spoke to her.
We later found out from our guests that Hanna was extremely rude and even using profanities during cocktail hour.
Later in the evening- when a guest who doesn’t drink alcohol asked the bartender for a glass of water- Hanna responded with “The bride and groom didn’t pay for that.” And the GROOM even went up asking for WATER and she said “why? Is someone sick?”
HELLO?!?
Don’t do it! I hope this review will save a bride some heartbreak by not booking their wedding at Stepping Stone Farm.

ive conversation with the one of the owners, Alley, but we had the sister Hannah there for the day of the wedding. And when I tell you... I was on the verge of tears for my sister... I'm not exaggerating.
The experience here was unbelievably disappointing. The “luxury tent” came full of holes, and instead of the promised concrete pad, we had a mud pit. Guests were sinking into the ground, and the furniture — which was supposed to be clean and ready — was completely covered in mud. The bridal party spent hours cleaning and arranging everything just to make it presentable.
There was a genuine misunderstanding about the “outside alcohol” policy, which the bride immediately apologized for. Despite that, the owner, Hannah, confronted her minutes after being announced as husband and wife, raising her voice until the bride was in tears. She then spent most of the reception glaring at guests from behind the bar, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. To make matters worse, she began turning off fire pits and candles that weren’t even hers nearly 30 minutes before the reception ended, disrupting guest conversations and the flow of the party.
For an additional $500 they got
a restroom trailer that was filthy on arrival. The bridal party had to clean it themselves just to make it usable. Between the condition of the property, the lack of professionalism, and the way the bride was treated, this venue completely ruined what should have been a joyful day. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

From all other places that I have visited, Stepping Stone is probably the best to choose from if you're interested in an outdoor wedding in central KY!

The staff at the farm was so kind to all of our guests and answered any questions we had throughout the whole process.
I think this place is perfect for a diy bride. I wanted to be very hands on creating everything for our big day and they let us do that. They offer planning packages as well, and with how attentive they were to any questions we had, I am sure that is a great option too.
I’m so thankful for this place and all the memories we made there.
