Sarah even delivered a bottle of prosecco for us after the hubby mentioned he forgot to bring it for our room! I'm eternally grateful for her help, and I can't wait for our guests to share our wedding meal at our rescheduled reception coming up in April. Cross your fingers and wish us luck!!

Food presentation was great from beginning to end (they were great at condensing platters and refilling trays frequently, nothing ever looked "picked over", it always looked/tasted fresh), and the mimosas were PERFECT! The hot chocolate was delicious! But service is what puts Sterling. Sarah--our main point of contact after the first tasting--was on point with every detail, and always responded quickly to our emails. She was invaluable during the final walk-through. Our entire wedding was fairly last minute (planned within 3 months of the wedding day), so the prompt replies and detailed estimates were a god-send. The bartenders, chefs, and servers were top-notch. Everyone showed up a little early even with the EXTREME snowfall that morning. They had everything set up early, paced the food perfectly, and were happy to let us graze until the very end of the reception. Our reception ran smoothly, and we know Sterling was a big part of that!

wn! At the reception, the food was a big hit! We went with a buffet - bacon crusted chicken and a vegetarian penne pasta. Our sides were roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts. The buffet also included a salad. The servers kept the buffet moving and were quick to clear plates or get what we needed. We were also able to order a la carte meals for our guests with specific dietary needs. There was plenty to go around. Affordable, professional and tasty.

The waitstaff were all friendly and knew exactly what they needed to do and when they needed to do it. We were so busy on the day of our wedding, that it was wonderful to not need to worry about anything.

We got pork meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, cheese platters, dip platters, and grilled vegetable platter. All very awesome and perfect for that before dinner gnosh. For dinner we had carbonara (we received MAJOR rave reviews on that), roasted chicken with lemon butter sauce, and the chianti beef tips (the beef was cooked perfectly, not overdone which is always a concern). I tasted all 3 entrees and I gotta say, they were great! We would highly recommend Sterling Catering.

The only complaints I have are that we were supposed to have a selection of four different beers but they only brought two and we ran out of beer part way through the reception. One of the bartenders remedied this by running to the liquor store to pick up more. When I told Renee and Katie about this after the fact they were very apologetic and sent us a gift card. Everything else was perfect.

We chose to serve all of the food family style which was a fun way for our guests to interact at their tables. Everything was absolutely delicious! We have received countless compliments on the food from the wedding, including, "I have never had beef tips prepared that well!! Outstanding!!" We also had one guest ask for the information of the catering company so they can book Sterling for their family event in the future. Our appetizers were great too - my favorites were the chicken satay skewers and the deli meat/asparagus roulades. I think that one of the most memorable additions to the event was our two signature drinks. Andrea, Sterling Catering and the bartenders pulled them off flawlessly!!! They were unique and our guests absolutely loved them! Andrea was able to have the bar stocked with some specialty items required for the two drinks: apple cider, unsweetened cranberry juice and ginger beer. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you to Andrea and the entire Sterling Catering team. Everything was absolutely perfect.

For dinner we had a buffet with the Cesar salad, Penne Pasta, Beef Tenderloin, Orange Prosecco Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Vegatables; for the amount served everything tasted great. All of our guests went on and on about how tender the beef was and how fantastic the mashed potatoes were (they were silky smooth and full of flavor). I loved the Chicken, pasta and vegetables! We worked with Andrea through the whole process and she was so kind and patient with us. Anytime we had a question, we would receive a response via e-mail same day! Her and the venue manager, Lauren, made the entire process a breeze. Above and beyond, excellent food; phenomenal and stellar service. Thank you for making our night!

ve the majority of guests stay in the hotel because 90% were traveling from out of town. She smiled and said that was no problem. We gave her a check for a deposit that night. A few months later we found out the hotel is booked for our wedding date. At this time we already had all of our vendors lined up and the date was not flexible anymore. They blocked off enough rooms for the wedding party and 2 more rooms. I began to talk with the general manager "Charlie" and he just blatantly lied to us telling us that Vannessa escorted us to the hotel front desk and we discussed room reservations with that person. This never happened. When I questioned him that this ever happened he emailed me a contract that was wrote up between the hotel and my wife and I. The problem was that he had the wrong date on the contract. We meet with Vannessa in the evening of 21st and Charlie provided us with a contract that was dated the 22nd. After I questioned him about this he said he didn't need to answer any more of my questions because he answered them all already. I think the real reason he stopped talking to me was because I informed him we were switching venues. DO NOT BOOK A VENUE HERE, THEY WILL LIE DIRECTLY TO YOUR FACE. FOR BEING A CATERING AND EVENT PLANNING COMPANY THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
