Sterling Strings were truly fantastic! This is a group with outstanding musicianship and such talent. Eric was wonderful to work with, and so support of our requests for the ceremony. We went through several postponements and the group were so accommodating and understanding each and every time. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, accomplished quartet to make our ceremony special. Thank you so much, Sterling Strings!

If I could summarize Sterling Strings in one word, it would be "PERFECTION"! They were everything I hoped they would be. As a classical musician who also loves Hip-Hop, I dreamed about having a classical and pop music portion of my wedding. It was amazing to find a group who was very capable of both, and boy did they deliver!! In addition, the DJ I hired was running extremely late and they even were able to step up and cover some of his responsibilities as well. I would highly recommend them for any event!!

They are absolutely incredible! I was first introduced to Sterling Strings back in 2019 on my morning commute in NYC. Once I got engaged, I knew we wanted to ask them to be a part of our wedding day and we booked with them almost immediately. Eric was so kind and made the booking process so simple. Even though we had to delay our wedding due to the pandemic, we were elated to know that they would still be able to attend. We were able to select songs from a very large library of classic and modern music and had so much fun deciding on the setlist. They played a bit before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and the cocktail hour. They even let my parents pick one final song to dance to at the end of the cocktail hour when the other guests were heading over to the reception. Everything was just so perfect-- they made our day that much more special.

We hired this string quartet for my daughter's wedding last weekend and they were amazing. They played beautifully and the strings definitely elevated the experience. Reasonably priced as well.

I saw this group in the Fulton Station in NYC and fell in love with them. Loved that they put their original spin on any song, from oldies to classic, to new age. I new when I first saw them years ago that I would want them to perform at my wedding. Sterling Strings is professional and super easy going. Many of our guests said they love the Quartet. The Quartet group themselves were lovely and couldn't have asked for a better group to perform our ceremony and cocktail hour. I would hire them for all events if I could.

Sterling Strings ended up being one of the most special parts of our wedding day. We got hitched in Philly but live in NYC, so having a piece of NY with us on the day was lovely, and if you're going to have any piece of NY with you, Sterling Strings is it. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and not only was the quartet beautiful, energetic, and balanced - they were SO memorable. We are still receiving compliments about how amazing the strings were and what a heartfelt touch they put on the evening. I walked down the aisle with my parents to their wedding song (Can't Help Falling in Love) and exit with the wedding party to one of our favorite songs (Hold on, We're Going Home). The mix of classical, oldies, and contemporary was perfect and it was enjoyed by everyone there. Working with Eric to plan the songs for the night was wonderful - he is so kind, accommodating, and wants to ensure the music is everything you dreamed of. And it was.

We are so so happy we ended up engaging Sterling Strings. They performed during our ceremony and cocktail hour and were so perfect. I worked with Eric and he was incredibly professional and responsive. After one brief convo he knew exactly the vibe we wanted for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They blew it out of the park. We received so many compliments. I can’t recommend Sterling Strings enough!!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not your average string quartet! They will blow you and your guests away!!! What an incredibly talented group of musicians! They came to my wedding and transformed the vibe with their amazing music renditions. My guests still can’t stop talking about how much they were moved before the ceremony and lit with the music played during cocktail hour! Also it was excellent working with Eric. He understood my playlist and vision from start to finish and with extra time was even able to arrange a song for my bridal entrance. They also have incredible range, their setlist includes classical music, rock, hip hop, R&B, pop, movie themes and more. Whoever picks them next is going to have a blast, I highly recommend them!

Leading up to our wedding, we knew that Sterling Strings was going to be one of the highlights of our reception. We were right. The majority of our guests made a point of commenting on how awesome they were, and a few asked for their contact information. Eric and the team were also professional, kind and easy to work with, even when we asked them during our wedding to stay beyond the time we had originally planned (because we were running late). We had them play for our ceremony, cocktails and through the end of dinner (until the dance party got started), and it was the perfect way to have super-fun and interesting music that really added to the atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough.

After looking for ceremony musicians, we decided on Sterling Strings because the group plays together on a regular basis, which sets them apart. We were considering hiring a few solo musicians but were concerned with how they would play together. I was in contact with Eric who was incredibly responsive to all of my questions. He was also very patient – it took the groom quite some time to determine what song he wanted to walk down the aisle to. (I think this mostly speaks to the fact that the list of songs they will play is quite extensive!) The group arrived at the agreed upon time and looked great! Our wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year and they brought blazers so they would look appropriate for the event. The groom and I agreed that the blazers were not necessary, but I appreciate that they were even willing to wear them upon request. We had a delay with the beginning of the ceremony, and Eric and team were very accommodating. They did a great job when they played, and I really couldn’t recommend them enough. If you’re local to the NYC area, please consider them to be your ceremony musicians, you will not be disappointed!

I initially saw them in the Oculus at WTC and knew I had to have them for our wedding. It's hard to get anyone in NYC to stop, much less in the middle of rush hour and they had people entranced by their sound and arrangements. Their range of music is extensive and they can do just about anything you ask. We hired them to work our ceremony and cocktail hour and they more than delivered. Our guests were awed by them and it was such a beautiful way to start our wedding before kicking off the party. We would book them again in a heartbeat!!!

Sterling Strings was everything I imagine for my wedding. Very professional, Sterling adds a special touch to their music but also very mature performance keeping it classical. We were able to plan out over the phone and discuss my ideas with Eric and his team. Despite this year; with a restricted amount of people, I was able to get married with the woman of my dreams and Sterling Strings was able to do an outstanding performance.

We were so blown away by Sterling Strings at our wedding. They are exceptionally gifted musicians who gave an incredibly memorable performance that our family keep talking about (and will for years). They were poised and professional when it started to rain in the middle of our ceremony and maintained high spirits all through the night. During the reception, they deftly navigated the evening, mixing classical songs with our contemporary favorites, and kept the group moving when it was time to dance. We’ve since recommended them to family, friends and friends of friends and cannot wait to work with them again for our next celebration. They’re truly wonderful artists and were equally wonderful people to have with us. We’re lucky we found them!

I found Sterling Strings through one of the online wedding sites. Prior to booking, I watched every video I could find of them performing. After booking, I re watched every video because I was so excited and could not wait to see them in person. We initially booked SS to provide music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Appx one week before the wedding we decided to add a violinist to play during dinner. Our guests absolutely loved the music. Eric was so easy to work with. Days leading up to the wedding we scheduled a call to go over some ideas I had for my entrance song. When I called, the band had just finished rehearsal. As we talked about what I wanted, Eric put me on speaker and the band played a sample of what we talked about to make sure it was what I wanted. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Everything about Sterling Strings was perfect. From the first interaction with Eric via email he was very professional and always responded right away. The list of songs they have is amazing (every genre, classical to pop) but they're willing to learn a new song if you wanted. They arrived on time. Set themselves up. Worked everything out through our day of coordinator. It was competely stress free for us. They played for an hour and it was absolutely incredible, including for my wife walking down the aisle. They were by far the hit of the wedding and would highly highly recommend them.

Sterling Strings was a huge success for our wedding. I first heard Sterling Strings in Grand Central (pre-COVID) and their music made for a good start to the morning as it filled the halls as I was walking to work. I knew I had to have them at our wedding, and luckily my wife went along with my recommendation! They definitely were impressive and worth it. My wife and I highly highly recommend. They played for 2 hours during our wedding reception and it really set the tone for the evening. They can play a wide range of music which is awesome, especially all of today's hits, and their sound is so unique and helps generate a very elegant ambiance even if they're playing a strings rendition of a hip hop song. Many of our guests thought it was the coolest part of our wedding, and we would agree.

Sterling Strings played at our wedding and were one of highlights of the evening!! Amongst the changes and everything going on with Covid, they were very easy to work with and flexible to our needs. We’d definitely recommend and would use them again if we could!

Our wedding that took place on November 14, 2020 was anything than originally planned. Eric along with Fred, Pat and Eddie were part of our original vision prior to dealing with the global pandemic. At a time when everything was stressful, he supported us switching venues and coming up with an intimate ceremony and cocktail hour. As we had several restrictions, guidelines and safety measures in place his team arrived on time, with the highest level of professionalism and maintained all protocols in place. The musical choices were flawless including renditions of “All you need is love” by The Beatles and “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton for us in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Having the element of a string quartet will bring tears to each and every guest and bring a level of elegance you could only dream about. The Sterling Stings are by far the best in the business and their level of talent is like no other. I promise from the initial call or email with Eric to the actual event will be a flawless experience with one of the most knowledgeable band leaders in the business and an event everyone will be talking about for years to come. Whether a 300-person wedding or a 30-person outdoor event, The Sterling Strings will deliver each and every time and there is only one choice for a string quartet. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day one for the books!

We hired Sterling Strings to perform for our Zoom Wedding as our in-person wedding was canceled due to COVID-19! Eric was super responsive over email and phone, and open to our unorthodox request to perform virtually for guests. Leading up to our event, Eric joined our virtual run-through to help trouble-shoot any issues and even performed a few different versions of our songs to help decide which sounded best over Zoom. Eric was so easy to work with and really helped our virtual wedding feel like an incredibly special and elegant affair. Our friends and family were so delighted at the surprise performance -- it really helped set the mood that this wasn't just another video call! I hope we're able to work with Sterling Strings again in the future for an in-person performance, but we're so grateful we were able to support these talented artists and create a special moment for our unconventional wedding.

I fell in love with Sterling Strings while seeing them perform on the NYC subway. When we decided to have a dinner reception in Manhattan, we wanted a little something special. Sterling Strings played while our guests entered and mingled and they even learned our favorite song. They were a lovely addition to our celebration.

Perfect addition to my wedding! I had really wanted sterling strings for my wedding and had gone back and forth trying to decide if it was in the budget but i am SO GLAD i decided to go for it. The Sterling Strings are absolutely amazing. They have such a large library of songs to choose from, from Classic to Modern songs. Eric and his crew were so professional. Eric was very responsive and we worked together to figure out a perfect budget and timing for the event. They absolutely understood and heard what I wanted to do with the music and beautifully executed it. A month before the wedding I asked for a popular song and Eric was able to make it happen! Our only regret is that the cocktail hour wasn’t longer so I could hear them perform more.

Sterling Strings really set the tone for our wedding. From the beginning Eric has been responsive via e-mail and my husband and I even met and saw them play at the Beekman Hotel and knew we had to have them for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I first discovered them 3-4 years ago when they were playing at the Bedford avenue train station and said to myself if I ever have a wedding I need to book them. Sterling Strings was an absolute hit at our wedding! We've had multiple guests comment post-wedding about how much they loved the quartet and how talented they were. Sterling Strings were amazing for my wedding this summer. My friend came across them playing in the subway station and I am so glad we booked them. My husband and I worked with Sterling Strings for our wedding on May 25th and can honestly say that the music was one of the highlights of the event! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the music was! Eric worked with us every step of the way and was so involved and patient. I’ve received so many compliments on the professionalism and grace Sterling Strings brought to my wedding. Also the price is very affordable and they are very accommodating and skilled. My only complaint is that I didn’t get to fully experience as we had to take pictures! Would definitely use again!

Eric and the rest of SS were INCREDIBLE for my recent wedding in Queens on July 4th weekend. They communicated with me quickly and pleasantly at all times leading up to, during, and after the event. Eric and Sterling Strings are the best - can we give 6 stars? They played at our wedding during the ceremony and cocktail hour and it was absolutely wonderful. Our guests loved every second and have not stopped raving since. When we saw their wedding card in Atlantic Terminal it was like a no-brainer to try to book them, and we are so fortunate they were available. We even got them to trek 2 hours upstate. I second all the other people who commented that Eric was super easy to work with, reliable and flexible and let us pick songs and mixed in his own great choices. My only regret was that I couldn't sit down and enjoy them more because I was too busy being a bride! Really glad we got some video.

What a special addition to our wedding day having this string quartet! We had them play for our ceremony and for our cocktail hour. The raving reviews of their work was amazing to hear. They took everyones breath away including ours. They were so professional and so great to have on our special day. I grew up playing the violin and have always had a special love for this kind of music. We knew we wanted a DJ for our reception but I couldn't not add live music in elsewhere. Having this group play on our wedding day was so amazing. My husband actually found them on the subway one day in Manhattan. Since then I've seen then a few times also which made me even more excited to have them at our wedding. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for strings! They were reasonably priced and beyond incredible. They all are truly talented and we are so thankful to have had them at our wedding!

Eric and the Sterling Strings team played at our wedding ceremony and they were the consummate professionals. I knew the moment I heard them playing that they would bring not only beautiful music, but elegance and polish to our wedding. They are incredibly talented and it's clear listening to them that they have classical training of the highest degree. Eric was a dream to work with. He understood the feel we were trying to create for our celebration, offered helpful, honest suggestions and was incredibly communicative. Sterling Strings' repertoire is extensive -- both classical and modern songs -- and they learned a new song that had special meaning to my family and I. Their arrangement of that song was stunning. Everyone was moved to tears. I cannot say enough about the Sterling Strings team. They exceeded our expectations in every possible way and we are so thankful to have found them.

THEY ARE AMAZING!!! Eric is super chill and the entire team is really great and talented. They work well together and our guests absolutely LOVED their music. They will give you a list of their songs and you can chose what you want to hear. Their list is very extensive and has everything you can imagine. I would highly recommend them. What we love the most is when we run into them in the subway playing. We love telling our guest we found them playing in the subway together :). If you want a great string quartet... hire sterling strings. Especially if you want a hip hop string quartet. We had them play all of the lights as our guest entered into the main ballroom which was entirely lit by candles. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how perfect that was.

Sterling Strings are exceptional musicians. As a classically trained musician myself, I noted when searching violinists for my ceremony, it seemed like many of them had stopped practicing a long time ago ... Then, I heard Sterling Strings. I was so dazzled that I hired not only a violinist for our Central Park ceremony but also the entire quartet to play for our reception. It was especially thrilling to dedicate a live performance of my mom's favorite movie theme to her. Sterling Strings are worth more than their fee. I give them my highest recommendation, without reservation.

These guys are amazing musicians. They added such an element of elegance and beauty to our wedding ceremony in Central Park. Of course, I only heard the part of the ceremony when I walked down the aisle, but I was already blown away by them. Now as I watch the videos people took at the ceremony from before I came out, I can hear the music they played during time before that and WOW! Guests raved about them and I see why! THANK YOU for adding so much to my wedding ceremony and making those moments ones filled with beauty I will never forget. Eric, who coordinated, was very easy to talk to and had a very relaxing vibe (which is necessary for us crazy brides). Our ceremony started late and ended later than planned (sorry!!!!) but they were there for us without a problem. If you are looking for quality musicianship during your ceremony or reception who offers a wide variety of song selection, look no further than Sterling Strings!

Eric and his team were a joy to work with! They went out of their way to do a quartet version of Til Kingdom Come by Coldplay for my trip down the aisle. Communication was quick and efficient. Highly recommended.
