Steve and his jazz trio were fantastic! We had the jazz trio during our cocktail hour and it was the perfect way to set the vibe while everyone was arriving. Afterwards we had Steve DJ the rest of the evening and everyone raved about how great the music selection was. The dance floor was full the entire night and my 96 year old grandma even showed off her moves for a bit. Thank you, Steve, for making our wedding the big party we were striving for!

Steve Anzivino Music is an exceptional wedding DJ service based in Alto, Michigan. I’m a classy and energetic DJ, so you and your guests will be very happy if you choose me! I am different from most DJs because I am also a professional musician. This gives me a unique understanding of music selection, whether for listening or dancing. With professional sound equipment and lights, I understand how to musically entertain a wide variety of ages and cultures. I'm a confident and engaging MC, and will encourage your guests to be part of the fun throughout the night! If you decide I'm a good fit, I'll make sure you and your guests have a great time by managing the events throughout the reception and keeping the dance floor full! Whether you have a detailed vision or need advice from me regarding the flow of the evening, we will use my planning sheets to help personalize and organize your big day. I will coordinate with the venue staff, photographer, caterer, master and mistress of ceremonies, wedding planner, etc., so that everything runs smoothly. I love music, so DJ'ing is definitely a lot more fun than work! You can count on me to make sure everyone has a great time! I've been a professional DJ for over 10 years, and have over 30 years of experience as a professional musician too. Throughout that time, I have done countless weddings, proms, reunions, birthday/anniversary/holiday/NYE/company parties, car shows, festivals, school events, etc. By combining my experience with a constant enthusiasm to stay relevant musically, and by listening to what you want, I can create a unique atmosphere that will put a smile on every face!

He knew local musicians, recommended the wonderful Tiffany Gridiron, and put together an entire jazz quintet for us, including an upright bassist, pianist, saxophonist, and Steve himself on drums. The group was amazing, and it ended up being exactly what we had hoped for while still being very affordable. We felt incredibly lucky that Steve was able to connect us with them and coordinate everything. Our guests have not stopped raving about it. The DJing was also excellent. Steve really listened to what we wanted, played music that fit our taste, and kept the dance floor going all night. He was relaxed and easy to work with while still being completely on top of everything. We really could not have asked for a better DJ. Steve had a very detailed form for us to fill out a couple weeks ahead of the wedding and then a chat over the phone a week before. He asked so many questions that we hadn’t really considered and he was fantastic at providing recommendations and taking the lead where we were indecisive. Steve did our ceremony music with transitions and timing done absolutely perfect. When we hit the reception, Steve was all over the place pulling our parents back into the room, confirming timing with those doing prayers and giving speeches, and just generally keeping our timeline on track and moving forward. When it came to music, we were really happy with the way Steve mixed in our slow dance songs and the cadence that he pulled in guest requests. I especially appreciated that any requests I had, Steve immediately prioritized! We also absolutely loved Steve’s whole vibe, he was the coolest DJ and we couldn’t recommend him more.
