Steve G!!!! What can we say? He is a must-hire.
Steve’s energy is unmatched, and it’s so genuine. We felt from the start that he had the utmost desire to make our wedding perfect....
And he delivered. When we say the dance floor was packed, we mean it. He played something for everyone and completely understood what we wanted to hear. There were no hiccups with Steve. So often during our planning process, I read horror stories online of people’s DJs playing the wrong song for a bride’s walk down the aisle, for the first dance song starting too late into the song, the DJ not listening to the couple’s wishes, etc. Absolutely not with Steve. This guy does not fumble. He is organized, well-practiced, and he understands what the people and, most importantly, what the couple want. There’s a reason why every single time we told one of our vendors that we had hired Steve G., they were always so excited. Wedding professionals love working with him just as much as we did.
After both our Jack and Jill and our wedding, people told us we had the best DJ ever. No one was neutral about Steve. They were all fully amped about how great he was, and so were we.
Beyond the music, we also used his uplighting and digital photobooth. His lighting made our wedding look so beautiful and romantic during dinner and like the clurb during dancing (in the best way)! The photobooth was a huge hit. It was SO much fun, and Steve made gorgeous graphics for it. We had considered a traditional booth with printed photo strips, but we were so glad we went with his digital option. It was less invasive, way more versatile, and the best part is that we got to view the entire gallery right on our phones the next day. Scrolling through all the photos, GIFs, and videos our guests took was such a memorable part of the day after our wedding. We’ll have those memories of our people having the time of their lives forever.
At the end of the night, I was in tears because Steve made our wedding party dreams come true. He is not just a fantastic DJ but an incredibly wonderful human that made us feel so loved. Steve is the hype man of all hype men. He is high energy yet calming at the same time. And most of all, he genuinely cared about us, our day, and our guests having the best time. And we absolutely did.

He worked directly with our venue & photographer and you could tell everyone was super coordinated which made the big day stress free for us. But, our favorite thing about Steve was that he kept the dance floor PACKED all night long! We shared our list of 'must play' songs and he still exceeded our expectations with how he incorporated those with the rest of the night's playlist. He played songs I never thought about being a 'must play' song but were total hits. Everyone raved about how much fun they had at our wedding and we owe so much of that to Steve. ire day. He was incredibly flexible in meeting times and was able to meet with us a few times before the wedding to be sure he knew exactly what we wanted to make our day special and our own. He was able to cut a song to be the perfect length for our first dance, and sent it over for us to review before the actual day. There were some last minute changes and he was not flustered at all, he went with the flow and made adjustments without any added stress. The dance floor was never empty, literally from the beginning of the night to the end, he was able to adapt the music to the crowd and kept everyone moving, laughing, dancing, singing and happy. He even joined the dance floor at one point when he noticed the crowd struggling with a specific song! Thank you Steve G for helping our day run so smoothly (even with hurricane alarms going off the entire time), you really made sure our day was special and customized to who we are and created a day that we will never ever forget.

For places we didn't have songs picked out he played something that worked with our taste. He has tons of experience and so was able to provide helpful advice about things we were unsure about. He made sure we had the proper microphones for our outdoor ceremony, and paid very close attention to the wind to make sure everything was operating at the highest level. If you choose to do a DJ, I work highly recommend Steve G. A major benefit was that he knew and was familiar with our venue and all our vendors already - he made it seem super easy to work with everyone.

He quickly put us at ease because he was very thorough with planning and details, and he assured us that we wouldn't have to worry about anything. Steve was incredibly easy to work with and is incredibly approachable and easy going. Based on our initial meeting alone, I knew that he would be a great choice for our wedding and I am happy to say I was correct. Steve was very detail oriented and made it very easy to plan the musical components of our wedding and reception. As someone with tons of experience, he was able to guide us in a few area in which we were unsure. If you are looking for someone to keep the dance floor going, look no further! He also did our ceremony and that music was amazing as well and right on cue! He played to the crowd and the dance floor was never empty! I literally gave him 4 or 5 hugs after our wedding while he was packing up because he did his job so well. He is absolutely amazing and knows his job extremely well. He is very professional, accommodating and super nice. I emailed him while I was at another wedding to make sure he didn't do a few things the DJ at this wedding was doing. We hired Steve after receiving several recommendations from friends and I could not be happier with our decision to do so!!!! We first used Steve for our Jack & Jill back in August...
and knew right away we made the right decision. He was professional but was also upbeat, fun, and interactive, and in no way overbearing as some DJs I have witnessed at events in the past. He was great with getting our crowd pumped up and on the dance floor where we all spent most of the night. When it came time to focus on our wedding he sat down with myself and my now husband and worked with us on all of our song selections to help customize our special day. There were a few song selections we were stuck on and he offered some suggestions based on what we had told him we liked and they were perfect! Steve did an amazing job keeping up the energy all night and keeping my guests (both young and old) moving on the dance floor! I don't think I left the dance floor for more than a couple minutes that night! Steve was also very open to any song suggestions and requests that us or our guests had and made sure to play them. Steve also provided his uplighting services the night of our wedding, and let me just tell you, it completely transformed the room and pulled it together! It's amazing how something like lighting can just complete the look and feel of the reception and bring it to a whole new level. I definitely plan to use Steve in the future whenever I need a DJ and would absolutely recommend him to anyone and everyone!!!!
