Steve Holmes Photography

After looking through Steve’s portfolio and having an introductory meeting with him, we knew he was exactly what we wanted for a wedding photographer. We are so happy we decided to work with him for our wedding! From the moment he arrived with his assistant on the day of, they were friendly, professional and very enjoyable to be around. They both went above and beyond to ensure the wedding party was able to enjoy the day. My husband and I were both a bit unsure of how to stand or position ourselves during the portrait pictures, but Steve easily offered direction and got us laughing. During family pictures, Steve was patient and fun as we chased down family members and kids who were running off in different directions. When photo opportunities presented themselves throughout the reception, Steve and his assistant were apologetic for pulling us away and very quick so we could get back to the festivities. During dinner and dancing, I hardly noticed them because they moved along with the crowd so seamlessly, capturing shots without being at all intrusive. Finally, the pictures that resulted are absolutely stunning. Steve's passion for his work shows through in the photos he produces. Despite seeing Steve’s work prior to working with him, we were still blown away by the quality. He did such a wonderful job capturing the beauty of the location and day and we are so happy with the pictures we now get to keep forever. Across all areas, Steve and his assistant Chris exceeded our expectations and we really hope we get the opportunity to work with one or both of them on something in the future.

After looking at Steve's photos and talking to him I knew he had to be our photographer for our wedding. Steve did a wonderful job on the day of our special day. He was so professional and easy to get along with and very familiar with our wedding which was a plus. He made taking pictures easy. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer.

Steve was wonderful to work with - he guided us in photos but still gave us freedom to be ourselves. His photos are beautiful, and we had a few images within a week! He is great to work with!

My husband and I picked Steve Holmes Photography for multiple reasons. He happened to be my advisor and photography teacher in highschool and stopped shortly after we graduated to do photography full time. He is extremely comfortable to be around (a must on the big day!!!). He and his accompanying photographer Chris were unbelievable! They had no problem when I asked if they see great scenic spots for pictures to just come interrupt and bring us to the great spots!! We opted to add in a photobooth he provides which turned out to be the best ever. He has an open air photobooth so upto 8 or 10 people can squeeze in, it was the highlight of the night for all of our guests young and old alike! The quality of just the photobooth pictures is out of this world, let along the actual 'professional' shots. Unbelievable and so highly recommended, when they say 'you get what you pay for' they really mean it. We knew we wanted to budget more for a photographer than we wanted for decorations etc and did so accordingly! It was SO worth it!!! -Julie

Steve and his assistant Christina did a fantastic job! We've only seen a preview of the pictures, but they are absolutely gorgeous. Steve is really laid back and extremely easy to work with. I never felt like I had a camera in my face- he was really good on staying on the sidelines but capturing all the important moments. He was a bit pricier than other photographers in the area, but I think it was completely worth it for the memories we'll get to save forever. I couldn't have been happier with our photographer, Steve Holmes!

Steve is great to work with and his pictures are amazing! He is very professional. We used him for both engagement and wedding pictures and everything was great!

I instantly fell in love with the photos on his website. He is a natural photographer who captures what matters most and all those important details. He is not the type of photographer to be up in your face and your guests with the camera. Definitely wont be disappointed!!
