Steve Strand photography

I cannot say enough great things about Steve Strand as a photographer. He did both my engagement and wedding and the pictures came out breathtaking. He met us before hand at the condo and then at the beach for the wedding at sunset. We had a last minute location change and Steve had no issues and always had a smile on his face. I feel like we pulled him around in many different directions for the look we were going for and Steve happily obliged. Steve had the proofs ready for us very quickly after the shoot and was extremely responsive to emails and texts. For what it may be worth, Steve is also an all around wonderful person to know on Maui. We have stayed in touch as the years have gone on and hope to continue so in the future. I am happy to give this recommendation as the best photographer on Maui.

Our wedding photographer (recommended by our coordinator) was Steve Strand. To us, it seemed like all he wanted was to leave on time. We felt hurried, and he was short with some of our guests who offered suggestions on some photos. Our friend (who is not a professional had a regular digital camera) got better pictures of the wedding than our photographer did. Our photographer also didn't stay past the sunset, hence missing the best lighting for the pictures. Most of the pictures we got were poorly framed and had to be discarded. Would not recommend.
