It was a delight to meet Megan and have her be a part of the week leading up to my wedding and the big day itself. She is a beautiful person, ready to share in others’ joys and patient in the face of others’ anxieties. I had a full-fledged melt down for a few minutes in Megan’s presence (over the mysterious and simultaneous disappearance of all my make up brushes), and she was all graciousness and comfort. I don’t think the importance of the personality one brings into such an intense time can be overestimated. Megan made my wedding day better. Period. Now, let me praise her skills with the arrangement of hair. I have extremely thin, fine hair that I’ve never liked. On my wedding day, my hair looked full, lovely, and interesting/photogenic from every angle. It was definitely my hair’s finest hour. ☺️ Megan masterfully realized my vision and continued working at my hair until I was delighted with it. She also stayed late to help me apply lip stain, which I had purchased at her recommendation and found somewhat intimidating (due to its permanence). Finally, she actually came back after leaving when I realized we hadn’t practiced putting on my veil! Megan is just the woman you want doing your hair for the big day. I did not get to know Amy as well; she helped prepare my bridesmaids’ hair. Two of the girls chose intricate and difficult styles, which she brought to life with efficiency and excellence.
