We were originally looking forward for Steven to marry, and ended up being utterly disappointed. While every aspect of our day was perfect, if there was any stain or dark cloud ove...r our special day, it was Steven. His behavior the day of was grotesque and he’s out of touch with his role.
He aggressively bombard and interrogate my fiancé minutes prior to him walking down the aisle about the marriage license and fee, and entirely took him out of his mental headspace and moment, Despite the fact my bridal assistant had already given it to him in a brown leather.
My vendor driver the day of had arrived 30 minutes late to pick me up, which was already stressful, so I tried to make light of being late in my vows, and he interrupted my vows to chime in and make note of the exact minutes it was late by. It was weird.
As if that wasn’t enough, minutes after the ceremony ended, he interrupted our few minutes of reflection together that we sought out in the privacy of our home so he could continue to harass and demand payment and the marriage license.
On top of this, leading up to our wedding, he forgot our scheduled meeting call, forcing us to squeeze him in the week of the wedding in between family activities. We arrived late to our family dinner because of it.
What was most tasteless, is he was bitching to the other vendors. Some who I’ve known for years. With the same feedback from them - that he was an asshole.
This is NOT who you want for your special day.
