I will start off by saying this, everything turned out beautiful; I loved my bridal makeup, my bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law looked absolutely gorgeous. That being said; my (I was the bride) makeup artist was over an hour late. I had a morning wedding and only had two hours to get ready. Those who have been married can probably understand why this is not good. Being an hour late shoved us back almost 30 minutes which took time away from everything else. (We only had 30 minutes for pictures following the ceremony for instance). Again; beautiful results, but timeliness is important.

I used Stylist To Go for my April wedding and was so pleased with their services. Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering my questions, and the system that she has for filling out questionnaires/submitting payment/etc was so user friendly and efficient. The stylists did beautiful work and made everyone feel at ease, even my two young flower girls! And they were within my budget! I would definitely recommend Stylist To Go!

I hired Stylist2Go for my recent wedding and was very pleased with the results. The ladies were highly professional and did everything to ensure that we all left for wedding feeling confident and beautiful. I had a trial done shortly before, which went very well. I had a minor change in my hair when the day came but that was no issue for Anna, my hairstylist. She wasn’t going to let me leave her sight unless I was 100% happy with my look—and I was! We had all different hair types in my bridal party—short curly hair, ethnic hair, long and full hair, fine hair—everything looked so great. The makeup portion went very quickly but it was not lacking in quality at all. Everyone looked like the best versions of themselves—exactly what we all hope for! Stylist2Go did their best to make convenience a priority. I communicated my room number and they worked with the hotel staff to make it to us without having to lift a finger. All of the fees are very clear and there were no hidden costs or expenses. I found the prices to be reasonable when compared with other options in the area. I would definitely hire the team again for an event and recommend them to another bride on her wedding day!

This is a fantastic service and I was really happy with Stylist to Go overall. I had a small wedding with an extremely small bridal party so Stylist to Go was one of the only places I could find in Northern VA that did not require a minimum amount be spent on bridal services and came right to my hotel room! The hair stylist and make up artist were both extremely friendly and personable with me and my family. The only downside- that was partially my fault- was not indicating whether anyone in the bridal party had thick hair. I would recommend that to be on the safe side you do indicate this ahead of time. I wasn't positive whether me and my sister had what was considered thick hair (it ended up that we did) but I did not err on the side of caution. On the day of, I asked the stylist if she would need to charge more and she said everything would probably work out so not to worry about it. While I was on my honeymoon a few days later I got a notice that I had 24 hours to pay an additional fee. I was more than willing to have paid that additional amount (which is why I asked about it) but it was slightly frustrating to have to worry about that on vacation. Overall, I would consider using Stylist to Go again, and highly recommend to brides. I also suggest you err on the side of caution and communicate your questions and needs as much as possible up front.

I used stylist to go for my wedding last year. Unfortunately i booked them with non refundable 150USD booking money before i saw some of the bad reviews about them being late. I was hoping its not gonna happen to me. But on my trial day my makeup artist came almost 3 hours late. Which concerned me and was hoping he wont be late on wedding day. But unfortunately on wedding day he came 2.5 hours late. I had 3 of my wedding party waiting for him. By the time my makeup artist showed up it was so late that my hairstylist had to rush. My hair or makeup nothing looked like how it was during trial. You cant have a quality work unless you have proper time. I looked ok but it was nothing that i was hoping for. My hair and makeup both looked very flat. Although I got some refund but the kind of stress i went through on my wedding day still makes me sad. Also they seem cheap compared to others. But they charge for every single thing extra. From air brush make up to parking fee.. to hair extension to this .. that .. all this things adds up. I will never recommend them to anyone.

I used Stylist to Go for my wedding last year and it was a fantastic experience. I had them do hair and makeup for a few bridesmaids and me. I also did a hair trial which I'm very grateful I did because it helped me revise how I would have my hair for my wedding. All of our hair and makeup was perfect. I loved how I came out and still look at my photos and appreciate what a great job they did! They were also very flexible before the wedding because I had a couple last minute changes when a bridesmaid decided to do her own hair and my mother-in-law and her friend wanted to join in too. They were really nice about it and helped me adjust my contract twice within a month before the wedding.

I just used Stylist To Go for my wedding last weekend. They truly made my wedding dreams come true! My hair and makeup was EXACTLY what I wanted, and this was even after deciding on a new hair style last minute. My hair stylist was so in tune with what I was going for, and she made it look beautiful and effortless. My makeup artist was doing my makeup for the first time, and was really tuned in to me wanting a natural and simple look. My husband keeps commenting on how beautiful I looked and it didn't look like I had much makeup on at all (even though I had way more on than I normally wear). Everything from my first communication with Amy to the trials to the final day, was easy, organized, and affordable! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who would like their stylists to come to them for their wedding day (which is so much more fun, anyways!) I did it only for myself, my mom and my sister. But I know they could definitely handle a bigger group with great ease. The only thing to prepare for is making sure there is parking for them for the trial and the big day. Not difficult, just plan ahead. Thank you Amy and the stylists who made my dreams come true! :)

Amy (the owner) at Stylist to Go was always on top of everything, very responsive and very professional. Since I was the only one getting my hair done (my bridesmaids opted to do their own hair and makeup to save having to pay for it themselves), it was hard for me to find a vendor with no minimums. I was fortunate enough to find Stylist to Go who had no minimums, and Carmen, who did my hair trial and my wedding hair, was perfect. Carmen listened to my vision and worked off of my Pinterest board seamlessly. She combined looks together to give me the look that I loved. She pinned my veil to my hair and stayed a little longer after I had gotten into my gown to make sure my veil would stay in place. I was very happy with her services and her attention to detail and my vision. She was friendly and patient, and I could not have asked for anyone better. Would definitely recommend them.

I just had a trial with Stylist To Go, and I am kind of disappointed. Now for $110 I expect to get 3 styles... of ones that I ask for. The stylist gave me one that i did not ask for yet didnt take the time and effort to correct it or it would have been counted as an additional style. I dont know what she was thinking as none of the photos I had showed her had a fishtail braid in it nor did I ask for a fish tail braid (I hate fishtail braids)... I told the lady a few times that there is a tutorial online for a hairstyle I wanted to try (she ignored me every time) There were other concerns I had like whether the lady could part my hair correctly even after I had showed her how to part my hair. Also, all the air styles she did do on the trial were ones I can do myself. I am not paying for something I can do myself. When I brought my concerns up with Amy she also ignored me and proceeded to give me a sales pitch, not even listening to my concerns... Needless to say, I will not be going with them for my day of hair... It was like just having one of your girlfriends play with your hair. After going back and forth with Amy via emails she said that they can address my issues the day of the wedding, However, the day of your wedding is NOT THE TIME to still be doing trials and trying to find what works for you and your hair. Especially if there is a style that might need extras like hair extensions or something extra. All and all I am still very disappointed with the way Amy had handles business. She should have A) offered another trial- on the house or B) offered a refund and/or C) actually listened to her clients concerns. Instead i have NOTHING and I am out $113 and am still in need of a stylist. That is NOT a way to do business when you have an unhappy customer.
