of restrictions even though in our tour they told me I could drink in the bridal suite and eat up there, etc. The day of the wedding they were giving tours even though they weren’t suppose to. They said we would get ALL of the buildings on the property but all of the small buildings were locked. I planned on using the projector but they never told me I had to bring my own laptop. We had to have a “big talk” the day of even though they could see that I was busy setting up and it just contained of making sure I knew that I wasn’t allowed to drink in the bridal suite. I asked to use the one paddle boat they had and they told me they got rid of it and changed their policy even though it was in my contract! They were sticklers on making sure their lawn was in mint condition but during the ceremony 2 of my bridesmaids stood in a mud puddle and ruined their dresses. They required my send off to be before 10pm. My rehearsal dinner had to be between Monday-Thursday. With all of the COVID-19 going on they said if I had to reschedule I could do a Monday-Thursday next year even though I paid extra for a Saturday and they said I wouldn’t get my money back for paying for the extra day. They required a Monday-Thursday because other people needed a weekend date. They also made it sound like they would help set up and it wasn’t until after I signed that it would be extra money.

ng with the owners of Still Water Hollow was a nightmare. The options given for rescheduling was any date available within 90 days of our original date or any Mon-Thurs within a year of our date. There are multiple reasons those are terrible options (ex. within 90 days COVID most likely would still be present, a year out most dates already booked as this is a highly sought venue, etc.). We didn't understand why if we paid $5,000 and an unforeseen PANDEMIC is the reason we would have to be flexible why we could not choose any available date to postpone. In addition, I have heard from other brides that their booking rate increased for next year and if you rescheduled for next year you would have to pay the difference! I understand that during this time many businesses lost money, but it was incredibly frustrating and that Still Water Hollow was unable to accommodate customers who had already paid in full. We opted out of using the venue that we had already paid for and instead went elsewhere. Still Water Hollow does not care about it's clients and only cares about money.

. They had a kids room which is great when you have kids coming to your wedding. I would definitely recommend them. The other vendors knew the rules already so it made everything super easy

eople comfortably! The acoustics in there are amazing! We had our reception in the modern barn and it was perfect, and the bridal suite was amazing! The only complaint I could have was the price- it was a little much, but I am glad that we had chosen it at the end of the day!

an absolute pleasure to work with! On the wedding day, they answered any questions we had very promptly but left us to experience our day without interruption. We highly recommend this venue to any couples looking for the perfect place to say I do!

nd big windows, and a lovely pond made for gorgeous pictures and a relaxed feel. Plus I barely had to buy decorations! The owners are great to work with and so kind! The only bummer was that they don't have a sound system or microphones on site, so we had to rent those and bring them in, but that wasn't a huge deal! If I had the wedding to do all over again, I would definitely choose SWH.

I do not live in the area, and they were always so helpful to me when I was in town - accommodating my request to come out and look around several times, meeting with me while I was in town to ensure everything was taken care of, answering every call/email in a timely manner and always with such kindness and compassion. The venue is absolutely beautiful and arranged perfectly to allow for the bridal party to get ready on the day of. There are plenty of options as to where to hold the ceremony/reception to accommodate nearly any size guest list! Absolutely worth every single penny we spent and well worth the wait to have our special day here!

Your first experience will be with Kelley in the office and she couldn’t be nicer; she will be the one that guides you through most of your experience as you plan, prepare, and execute your perfect event. Although Kelley is the main point of contact, several of our emails were answered by the owners directly and the day of our wedding, the family members came down to the reception hall to ensure we had everything we needed; this kind of personalized care is rare these days. When you reserve the venue, you are getting the entire property with all of the quaint buildings to take pictures in, the pond with the beautiful foot bridge, and most impressive is the old-fashioned church that was built in 1899 and refurbished on site for a perfect wedding ceremony setting. The reception hall is only a year or two old and holds plenty of people; they provide the chairs and tables and even have an A/V system you are allowed to use if you want to show a slideshow (no sound, just video). They have 2 beautiful rooms upstairs for the bridal party to use (most other places charge extra for this) which allowed us a perfect area to get ready and stay hidden away until we were ready to make our entrance. All in all, this venue has everything you need (you provide your own decorations), is very beautiful, and the staff is beyond great to work with; I simply can’t recommend them enough.

e chapel here. We married in the chapel, and had our reception outside under the twinkling white lights. Our guests enjoyed exploring the grounds and all the little buildings. And who didn't love taking a ride in the paddle boats. The owners are very pleasant and accomodating. They we're available to help with anything.
