awe of how our wedding played out. Candace, Kelly, and Maria took the BEST care in listening, planning, and aiding in executing our dream wedding. From excellent food, service, flexibility, communication, and cost…the list could go on and on of the wonderful things this venue has to offer. I must admit, I was worried folks may complain about food, as most do when attending a wedding, but WOW! I was a happy bride walking around from table to table and seeing our guests almost licking their plates clean. Not only was dinner service a hit, but the cocktail bacon wrapped dates are a must have, and our late night bite was incredible as well! We were able to tackle evening hunger with a full service pretzel bar. We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us as we celebrated our marriage with family and loved ones. Stillwell House, you made our dreams come true! Thank you.

Stillwell deemed fit. I also had a very clear vision about what I wanted the day to look like and the person I was initially working with kept pushing her own ideas rather than trying to find ways to accommodate mine. It all worked out though, and the day was absolutely gorgeous. We were told shots were not allowed at the venue, but the bartender had a heavy pour, and eventually, shots were handed out. Not sure if that is common, but I would have liked an honest take on how alcohol was to be served so I could have better planned out how much alcohol to provide. I was also disappointed when I paid extra to have items held overnight with an agreed pick up of 11:30 the next day, but my bridal party was forced to take everything from the bridal room otherwise it would have been "thrown away," including gifts. Overall, I think the beauty of the site was more than I could have imagined and the food is phenomenal. I just feel like there are some areas that need improvement for future brides.

ng venue. Was Stillwell the cheapest venue option? No. But was it the option that left all of my guests saying, “That was the best wedding I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a LOT of weddings!” YES. Read on for all the detz. I was a bride with wide eyes and a list of non-negotiables. Before we secured Stillwell, we toured and received quotes for a variety of Tucson venues including Loew’s Ventana, Ritz Dove Mountain, JW Starpass Marriott, Stardance, Tanque Verde Guest Ranch, Hacienda Del Sol, I could keep going but you catch my drift. No bride rock went unturned in my quest to locate the perfect venue. Then I was discouraged by the proposals provided by these venues on average, $80-100K for four hours, your traditional menu, and a four-drink minimum. My excitement was met with tears due to reality – where are we going to get 100K to host an exceptional wedding? Intro  Stillwell house. Ambiance: • The Stillwell team allows you to create your vision using their unique bones and beautiful courtyard. For example, we prepared for rain on our NYE wedding therefore, organized a clear tent over the courtyard which amplified the magical ambiance. Flowers was top of mind and Bloom Maven elevated their already beautiful green stems with roses and an abundance of baby breath. Staff: • Candace, Wilma, and all the many faces at Stillwell are your guides – they prevent you from overdoing it but also align with your initiatives and objectives. Always being available to assist with any questions, problems, and hypotheticals we had. • Leveraged Billi Delgado as our Wedding Planner with ACA Event Studios to help with all the day to day planning, she knows the venue incredibly well having worked there in the past • With any outside vendor, Stillwell accommodated their arrival, set up, and made sure they were positioned in the most conducive place for guests and visual appease Food: • Everyone comes to a wedding knowing they will get a few apps, a cold piece of chicken or steak with a lame side. OKAY, not the case here- Stillwell delivers on the FOOD. I have never had so many texts or comments on food alone! Everyone raved about the bacon wrapped shrimp, the elongated charcuterie board, spicy meatballs, spinach artichoke, and this was just the apps. Incoming- fresh off the grill, split plate, scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese… which was all raved about. • Later we rolled out a late-night nacho bar which again, brought people luring with their mouths watering. At one point, our officiant commented on our cousin who was taking a to-go bag home of mini-chimmi’s in fear he wasn’t going to leave enough for others to have seconds, LOL. Overall, you give out of towners the experience of downtown Tucson, you share with them an intimate venue where space doesn’t feel limited but conversations feel closer, the backdrop you aspire to obtain as a couple (truly, I could have forgo’d the florals and it would have been just as beautiful) and the confidence the staff and owners are going to give you a remarkable night to remember forever. With 200 guests the only thing I was concerned about was space and never ONCE did I feel like we didn’t have enough. The Stillwell team is the real deal, the dream team, and made our nuptials unforgettable.

On the day of our wedding, the staff perfectly set up our small amount of personal touches and games with minimal direction creating a stress free and beautiful day of experience. The staff was friendly and attentive not only to us but to our guests as well. Even late in the reception, the venue seemed just as clean and perfect as it did during the ceremony. You won’t regret getting married at the stillwell house!

w things should be run. Stillwell House is pure professionals. They have weddings down to a science and their venue is absolutely gorgeous. We booked them last minute with three months before my wedding. When we toured the place, Candace was an absolute go-getter and confidently answered all our questions and gave us plently of advice without feeling like a pushy salesman. I was especially happy with their courtyard area since I wouldn't have to build or rent an arch since they have one built into their courtyard. When I went back for my final appointment, 2 weeks before my big day, Wilma helped me set my timeline and helped make sure I hadn't forgotten any important details like table assignments. My wedding day was the most beautiful day of my life and I didn't have to worry about anything. The wonderful Stillwell staff went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly and worked easily around a few last minute changes. There's a very good chance that most of my younger siblings will get married here! It's worth it!

nd cdc guidelines were followed regarding Covid 19 restrictions. We are hoping our other 2 daughters will want to get married at Stillwell House also!

We were especially appreciative of all the precautions they put into place to allow us to safely have a small event despite Covid. If you are considering working with Stillwell House then do not hesitate to book them; you will not be disappointed!

When your venue takes care of tables, linens, chairs, servers, coffee and tea, sodas, water, and so much more, it really helps remove stress from your wedding planning process. get married. It had the perfect relaxing, succulent garden vibe that we really wanted. The staff was so amazing, helpful, and informative! There were a lot of items that we wanted to DIY for our wedding. Not only were they so accommodating of the crafting and woodworking that we wanted to incorporate; they were also soo helpful in placing everything the way we dreamed of it! They really did make our process of planning and execution of our wedding simple and just the way we wanted!

House was extremely helpful and informative. All of the staff at this venue are extremely professional and willing to go the extra mile in attempt to make the event better. Wilma was amazing during our planning process, thinking and planning out all of our little details that Sam and I hadn't even thought about. She ran our wedding rehearsal and our wedding day and made sure that everything was perfect and all the details were in place. The food was incredible! We were able to choose from a bunch of different items. We even were able to go try the foods at their tasting so we knew what we wanted. The bartenders were efficient and made our signature drinks just how we wanted them. Words cannot express how impressed we were with our entire experience with the Stillwell House. You will not regret your decision in booking with them!

three different beautiful environments and we were able to use all three: outside garden area, the cantina/bar/dance floor, and the historic home where we ate the reception meal (this was not our first choice, but it turned out beautiful to eat inside and we are SO glad we did!). One of the biggest things that our guests complimented us on was how good the food was at the Stillwell House. Candace, Wilma and Kelly were all very attentive and helpful. We had a few unexpected external issues that arose and the Stillwell team was very accommodating to navigate these issues ensuring that our day remained special and that everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend the Stillwell house for any wedding.

ly EVERYTHING. They set up all the decorations we brought in, then carefully packed them all up at the end of the night. They grabbed things that I left laying around, on our table, or elsewhere, and put them back in the bridal suite so I didn't lose anything. There was a server that made sure my husband and I got appetizers and made sure our drinks were refilled the whole evening. We had many guests tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I thank the Stillwell House for that. It was truly a fairytale evening.

26th, 2018 and my fiancé and I cannot stop raving about Stillwell and our experience. Guests LOVED the food and the overall experience. I heard from many that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The grounds are meticulously kept, the workers are polite and prompt, and Wilma really knows how to run a wedding. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Everything looked magical and whenever something came up that I forgot or we needed the Stillwell team helped me as well as helped me relax. By far the best night ever.

clueless bride who hasn't spent her whole life planning her dream wedding), how to guide your guests through each of their three gorgeous spaces so the whole event flows effortlessly, how to style their venue so that the wedding looks much fancier and more expensive than it actually is. They have it DOWN. Plus, their food is delicious, and they're totally willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're happy with your selections (we went through three rounds of tasting with our vegetarian entree). And the food (like everything else!) is very, very reasonably priced. A couple of caveats: If you want to do things different from the way they usually do them, you have to be prepared for some pushback. It's all well-intentioned (they know what works, and they want you to have a great day), but you will have to assure them - and then reassure them - that yes, you're sure you want to do it that way, thanks. Also: They offer a discount on your rehearsal dinner if you do it at one of their partner restaurants and have them set it up (score!), but I'd advise you to be very clear about what kind of rehearsal dinner you're envisioning if you go with that deal. We assumed we'd be in a private room / area with our group of 20 so that folks could give toasts, get up and mingle, etc. What we got was a long table in the middle of the restaurant's patio, surrounded by other large tables - no speechifying or mingling was really possible. To be fair, we should've established what we wanted in advance instead of assuming they'd know. In the end, it was fine, and we weren't upset, but if a certain kind of rehearsal dinner is important to you, make sure they know. We had a beautiful day at a beautiful venue, and we didn't have to stress about any of the nitty-gritty, behind-the-scenes stuff, which is priceless. My husband and I are really happy with our Stillwell House experience, and we'd choose them again in a heartbeat!

y brain went through the many details that I was sure I forgot to mention to Kelly and Wilma, but they read my mind and everything was where it needed to be! I even forgot the pens that I picked out especially for my guestbook, but the staff at Stillwell found replacements. I appreciated the staff's ability to problem solve! Everything was perfect (and anything that wasn't was expertly fixed without my knowledge!). The ceremony space was set up beautifully and Wilma did a great job directing everyone and keeping us on track. Guests were so impressed by the delicious meal and (stiff) drinks. We received so many compliments and I'm so glad that we chose the Stillwell House for our wedding. The spaces are all so beautiful and so much of the decor is available without extra cost, so you can go simple with flower arrangements and other decor items - this was a huge plus for us! Additionally, I appreciated that so much was included in the cost, so we didn't have to worry about communicating with a separate bartender or catering company. I know some of the other reviews say that they aren't very flexible... that wasn't my experience at all. Wilma and Kelly are the experts and will absolutely let you know if they think there is an easier or more elegant way to get something done, but also respect whatever decision you make. Most of the time, I took their advice and the day was better for it. A few times, we stuck to our original decision and it worked out too. All they want is for you to have a great day :) I also want to mention that whenever we met with any of our vendors and they asked what our venue was, the next thing they said (without fail) was, "Oh that's great! Wilma and her team run a tight ship!" We absolutely loved our wedding at the Stillwell House and recommend the venue!

Wilma has an incredible amount of experience, and it is clear that she expects the best from her staff. I walked in the afternoon of my wedding to find every detail already set up and arranged and looking even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it to be. They took every idea I had and made it better. Each member of the staff checked in with me to make sure my night was perfect, and I can't think of a single minute where I needed anything. The serving staff was attentive and friendly, and the bartenders were talented and smart. By the time we were ready to leave, the staff had everything packed and ready to be loaded in minutes. The Stillwell House was not only a great value and a beautiful venue, but they made the entire planning process less stressful as a bride. Thank you!
